She is just the worst with explaining concepts and examples that we're supposed to know. Goes through everything like we're pros at it, and doesn't explain much when you ask her to repeat it. Just terrible
very hard with no sence of humor at all
one piece of advice...just ace the FINAL....i was getting 80's on the tests and the last day of classes she said if u do better on the final that will be your grade and I got a 95 on the final so i got an A in the class...gives 30 minute breaks each class
You may not get her the first 4 times she explains the concepts because she is not so clear. However she reviews concepts over and over that it's almost impossible for you not to understand it. And if you need extra help go over and she will help.

She knows the math very well but its very hard to understand. She explains over and over and you do eventually get it. You just have to listen. She doesn't teach well but I got an A- and I suck at math. However, I forgot all the info she taught.
she knows what she is doing but isn't clear to students in solving problems. it is as if she thinks that the students know everthing already. if you are not getting things in precal. or cal. don't take her.
Horrible teacher. She knows the material, but she can't teach it. You'll have to do a lot of reading and reviewing of the text book to learn anything at all. It's a crime that a "teacher" like her has tenure. Stay clear of here classes!
She knows the material but is hard to understand her.The good part is that she repeats many times questions similar to those in the final. She may drop the lowest grade. I got and A and a suck in math.If you get it in class no need to read the book.
Very fair. On her tests, will never ask you something she didn't go over. But for some reason, its easy to forget what she taught you, so if you took ma122 with her, you may be poorly prepared for calculus.

SHE FARTS A LOT!! Now let's talk about math. I got an A+ in her class in the Summer, but forgot all of it when i tried to explain it to someone in the Fall. Take her class, ignore the book, and get a study partner! You'll do well, but no thanks to her!

okay this teacher cannot teach for****. i mean she knows her stuff but she does not know how to teach it at all. in order to do okay you need to ask someone else in the class to explain it to you who already knows it and you NEED to look at the textbook.she also has a funkybut bad way of dressing..
it's as if she's just there to go over hw and give out the exams,bc the majority of the stuff she tries to teach, you don't understand and she won't help you!! her most infamous quote is " go home and re-do it" but what are we supposed to re-do if we're doing it wrong in the first place????

8am class... She arrived at 8:15 EVERY CLASS! Took a half hour break at 9 EVERY CLASS! Class ended at 10. Why do we have to pay money for this? You are on your own in this class. If you don't know the material, get to the Math lab to learn it or you'll fail. Tests are easy if you know the math.
We all have to pitch in and buy her a hearing aid. SHe can't hear she can't teach she knows nothing about how to explain avoid her at all costs if u know nothing about pre calculus but otherwise her tests are easy
If u r good at math, it will be an easy course 4 u. She reviews a lot before exams, and her exams are not difficult.
First off all u people who are complaining about this teacher are morons. She helps if u ask. if u dont ask thats ur problem. Her tests are real easy and she doesnt collect homeworks. But she is kinda deaf. if u are complaining u probably got a bad grade and if u got a bad grade ur just a moron.

I don't know why she's getting these bad reviews. OK, she is a bit weird, and seems to have hearing problems, but she explains things plainly and doesn't go into this long theoretical detail. Her exams are predictable & fair, and she doesn't seem to mind repeating things, unlike most so called "good" math professors.
Oversized Donald Trump hair-do...seriously!!! YES she can't hear...she'll say "WHAT?" kinda rude i'd say...probably its the age. Her exams are EASY!!!! Everything comes from the review sheet...she doesn't even bother to change the numbers around!!! Be there during classes, write down every problem on the board and u'll do just fine!!!
EASY class; doesn't care if you're late or if u even show up. shes a little weird but she's pretty clear, and knows what she's talking about. All you have to do is show up, learn the material, & review for the exams(she drops the lowest grade). Seriously, anyone who gets below a B+ in her class has to be either really lazy or really stupid.
if you are not good at arithmetic or high school level math, you should definitely be dropping her class. otherwise this is math literacy not rocket science, and her clarity/hearing deficiency doesn't affect it
this is one of the easiest teachers for pre-cal. she doesnt really explain that well but if you know high school math, then dont even bother taking the class altogether, just take calculus. she review for the final 100x so its very hard to fail it or even get a bad grade in it. just come to class, review all the worksheets, and u get A+.

She is so easy if u passed ur math regents in high school ull do fine. Its an easy A but warning she smells really bad, farts during class, and cant hear.
This teacher is sooo Easy ! Just review her worksheets, which she does in class a million times and your A will come to you in a silver platter. She's really cool for an old lady very laid back no pressure so no problems, maybe just a little boring but still worth the time and easy credit to be in her class.

Easy A if you study. Goes over questions that will be on the exam in class a million times. Exam problems are taken from the notes and old finals that she gives you. Easy A.

Dont listen to the bad reviews, those are from freshman who dont know how to study. I studied the day before the exam, and got 95's on all the tests. Test questions are repeated from her notes, no surprises, if u study this is not only an easy A, but an A+
I got an A+ on fall 2005. just go to class, get a review sheets and study them. if u get 4 review sheets, u dont have to go to class.

Exams come from notes. Gives HW, goes over Review Sheets, Sample Exams, HWs, and reviews for final Math Dept. Exam. Has almost 40 years of experience, drops lowest grade. Wonderful, caring old lady with grandma smile, love, & care for students. She wants you all to learn and pass to get to Calculus. Exams are easy, final's a joke. I got B in end.
You need to have a good knowledge before taking this class of precal, or else you will get lost.
She goes through material quick, but just ask her to repeat it and she will. Must speak loud because she is old and can't hear anything unless you yell. I was terrible at math and found this class really easy to follow. She prepares you well for the final. Just study the formulas like any math class and you will do great. Drops lowest grade. EASY A
She may be a little weird, but you WILL be adequately prepared for Calculus if you pay attention. Her exams are very, very fair. She will never ask you anything she did not go over.

She is a nice lady but her teaching ways suck. She goes over the material too quickly, no body participates and their are no hws which i did not mind. Grade based on two tests thats it you dont even need 2 go 2 class.
You need to pay attention to her review sheets. All the answers are on the review sheets that she gives out. 2 tests and a department final, will only count the highest out of the 2 tests and the finals is a must! Just study from the review sheet and you'll get your A!

Yea, she doesn't EXPLAIN how to actually DO the problems. She puts them on the board and solves it on her own w/o explaining. I duno how it's an easy A. I listen to everything she says and try to do the problems the way she does, but I still don't get it. And it doesn't really help when you ask a question, because she still doesn't explain fully.
Dont take this professor if you dont know the material. There is no order in lectures and the professor does not explain the concepts. She just do the exercise and tells you to re do it at home.
Knowledgeable teacher who knows her stuff, though is sometimes confusing. She expects you to retain what she teaches. Take the Precalculus course if you have the discipline to figure a few things out on your own. The math lab sessions help in clarifying the material, and you should go to them if you feel lost because this will fix any problems.
"go home and re-do-it" are her favorite words, so if u take her expect to hear this everyday. horrible math prof. she would rather pass gas in class then thoroughly explain the topic. she is bad. avoid at all cost.
Dropped her class like a hot potato after the first day. Her style of teaching is: Puts problems on the boar and says do them. Hello!!!Not all of us dream, eat, and sleep math. We're not all math geniuses but I guess that's what she expects. But don't get wrong, there are many people that like her. I just didn't see it that way.

Has no professional integrity, comes to class late, will not explain material and has no interest in teaching. Medical issues that prevent her from writing on board clearly.You are completely on your own! Desperation caused 85% class cheating w open books during exams and copying from classmates. She zooms thru the course material.she finishes like 5 weeks before the final.she also looks like a PIRATE! other then that she is very sweet. easy to cheeat on exams, and she drops the lowest grade out of the two exams.
math is practice.she repeats the same material over&over thus the work is ok.she works with past exams.she kinda mumbles to herself while teaching, but you as a student have to tell her you don't understand, she'd gladly help you.she gives like 2exams and the final.for hw she assigns problems,&reviews them the next class. she's very grandma like.
This rating is all you need. AS a professor, she doest teach, but if your good in math, print out all the past department finals, go to the tutors - let them explain you do the practice on your own, and its an A+. Do no work, but you know the stuff its an A+. don't do work - and don't know the stuff F+ IF you do everything on your ownthen VERY easy

It's an introductory course, so obviously it does not take much work to get an A. If you have ANY capability in math, you will be fine whether you attend or not. If you know you will need help though, you should find someone else. She doesn't hear well and can't help students because of it. 2 simple tests and a final, any work will get you an A
please stay away from this class if you care about your GPA, she is a sweet lady but can not teach for her life, half the time she just mumbles and she expects you to know how to solve the problems barely teaches anything, I'm pretty good in math but she managed to confuse the hell out of me, AVOID at all cost and find a better prof, worst at QC.
I hate saying things like this, but she really should retire... She doesn't hear well and even when she does HEAR you, it seems like she can't understand and just answers something completely unrelated. The material is very easy, but you need to figure out what the heck she's talking about on your own. Avoid.

I HATED HER CLASS! she would come 20 mins late, go voer 5 problems, give us a 20 min break, then we would do 6-7 more problems, then she would end class like 30mins early! Although the material is easy, I could not hear her at all, and did not understand her. she's a nice lady, but she really needs to retire.
i took her summer course, you must be retarded to fail her class. I got an A and did zero of her homework's and ZERO mins of studying for the midterm and final except for like the 10 mins like right before she hands it out in class. However i did show up to the class everyday and i did take good notes in a very relaxed atmosphere. Very nice woman 2
Come to class and take lots of notes. Easy to pass if you do those two things and do them well.
I usually don't like to make ill comments about people, but I have to say this professor was a nightmare. She doesn't explain what she's teaching, just does the work on the board and expects you to understand. Did not use the textbook at all! I was completely clueless some of the time as were other students in the class. Avoid if you can!
Worst professor ever. You can't understand a thing she says. If you ask questions, she gives you an attitude. She doesn't even introduce the topics properly, teaches as if you already know the material, yet never used the textbook. When topics were recognizable I realized that she starts w/ topics from the back of the book, which doesn't make sense
She doesn't teach well but it's not as hard as people make it all out to be. The tests are just all the classwork problems she gives only that she changes the numbers. I never had to open the textbook with her and got a good grade. For Math 110, I almost never showed up, took the dept final, got an A on it and she gave me an A.
Terrible. She does work on the board and rarely explains anything. You have to take notes and "reverse engineer" what she does to find out how it works. There isn't much material to know and she goes over it constantly, so the class is simple. But avoid her if you can find someone better, and don't take her for a class that's actually hard.
ONLY easy if you can self teach yourself and if you come to every class to write everything she writes down. All of her tests are made up from the things she goes over in class. However, if you don't show up, like me, you MUST learn it online or elsewhere. Basically, just go to class you'll be fine. She's really slow and annoying however.
