This class was an easy A for me! Mrs. Stewart uses myitlab.com, a system that makes you learn the material! Her instructions are very clear and as long as you follow them, you'll be fine. I really didn't took any notes and the tests were fairly easy, and lots of time to take them! Don't think about it, just add her to your list!

Class is very easy, maybe because i took the same class in high school and know how to work with it but she seriously makes you think like you are in some sort of work environment. It was annoying but what can you do? If you already know how to work with this type of stuff, online would be best. No advantage if you take it in class.

Everything you learn - everything - is through the work. Even she admits her class is a DIY. She's very easy and seems to care about her students, but she can be very condescending when she call on students during class. She makes a lot of cringe-worthy mistakes, which is kind of funny, since she busts you for not taking notes if you're incorrect.

Cares about students. Offers random extra credit to encourage attendance. Writing load heavier towards end of semester, so practice early.

Professor Stewart is a respected professional. She gives a lot to her students, and in return, she asks for a lot. She doesn't appreciate tardiness or absences. She provides the tools for everyone to pass. This class is similar to English 079 but with a business twist. I highly recommend Professor Stewart for all of your business classes.

A lot of ground to cover in this class and she does a good job laying the basic groundwork. Allows multiple submissions on projects to improve grade as well as extra credit. Communication is excellent. Only criticism would be too much time on MS Word and not enough on MS Access but that just my take on it.

Professor Stewart is an AMAZING professor. Many may think she is tough but if you aren't willing to work for your grade and actually LEARN what she teaches you, you might think that. Overall, I am very happy that I took her CSA20 class and am very excited of the grade that I had received because it is what I actually wanted. She makes sure her students do their assignments, tells you what might be on the exams & final, gives extra credits, and want her students to succeed.

Be prepared to work and work in two group projects that include presentations. There's no 'pause' between work projects either, everything is back to back. Do the extra credit, I repeat DO THE EXTRA CREDIT. She doesn't curve the grades at the end of the semester, so what you work for is what you'll get. Won't pass you even if you're off by 5points

I attend professor Stewart BUS017 class, business English, followed all her instruction, and complete most of my assignments on time. Next, I passed the class with As and went to the assessment center for retaking English test. Because of her effort, I got Level 3, and I bypassed ENG079; I learned a lot from her. Business 17 is lots of work. Mrs Stewart is an amazing professor. She takes on a lot, so it takes her some time to grade course work. She gives 3 extra credit assignment throughout the semester, and truely cares about her students. Do Not listen to all of the negative reviews, find out for yourself. Mrs. Stewart cares about each student learning the material and passing her class. She gives a lot of resources for help so if you didn't pass her class than you most likely didn't put any effort in.

This class does have a lot of work, but as long as you do it you will be fine. Professor Stewart gives you the outline and the rest is up to you. If you need help, she is not just available, she is WILLING to help. I missed the final for family reasons. She went out of her way to help me make sure I passed the class. If you try, you pass.

note: not for BIM 38, this is for BIM 1A. The work is easy, tests are easy when you study. Practice for increased accuracy and speed.

When I use Microsoft/Office I think of my instructor who taught me valuable info to apply to even a seasoned student in her 60's who returned and gained employment with these skills she required you to know and master.

I took classes BIM1B and BIM 79, however, that was not an option above. Professor Lopez is an exceptional instructor! She is fair and wants all her students to succeed no matter what their capacity for learning is. She gives good feedback and is always a positive force for her students. I would take another class with her, and I am in Spring 2022.

njoyed taking Professor Lopez's class. She was understanding, and fair with her grading. I appreciated how she was uplifting and encouraging about class and life. After every lecture, she would ask us to say out-loud "I am amazing and exceptional". At first it was awkward, but after a few lectures, it was easier and actually lifted my mood.

This review is for Professor Lopez's BIM1A class. I was not able to find the option on the drop down menu. This class was easy, but had many lessons and timed writings. As long as you are practicing or already have some typing skills, it was an easy class to take. You can even receive a WPM certificate if you pass the final timed writing.

Great professor. She's very caring & understanding & is willing to help you pass the class as long as you talk to her & let her know what things are going on in your life. Just make sure you get your homework done and put in the effort and work on improving your typing skills and you are good to go. Would definitely recommend taking this professor.

The class was straight forward and each weeks work helped with the following week. Not a lot of homework and only about 2hrs worth of work a week, great class.

Easy keyboarding class, just needed to take it for credit and ended up getting a typing certificate. Very easy class, easy assignments to understand. Each assignment takes quite a bit of time, so you gotta have a lot of patience for the course. Professor was pretty great, and would definitely recommend and take her again!

Professor Lopez is awesome. She cares about students success and motivates everyone to do their best. Her assignments are pretty easy and instructions are easy to understand. She offers extra credit at 5% of your over all grade. I would definitely take her again for other courses.

One of the best business professors at Delta, she cares about her students' success. Very approachable & helpful. Excel work costs $142; there's a 2-week trial, finish as much as you can before the trial ends. All work is open from the start (excluding 3 Exams). If youre a BIM or BUS student, TAKE HER, she offers many opportunities for your major.

The zoom classes are optional but she encourages students to attend them if they want to or are having a hard time in the class. The classes are also recorded for people who cannot attend. This was an online course were almost all work and quizzes was done on Cenagage, so it is a self taught class. If you try to message her with an issue or question, GOOD LUCK!, There's zoom classes where she is live but there during work hours. Besides that, Super easy, remember what your learning and apply it to the exams. Would take again!

Professor Lopez is a great professor who cares about her students. BIM38 is a 3.5 unit course, so it is expected to have a lot of work. We had a weekly Zoom meeting that was not required; however, Professor Lopez allowed us to correct our work for those who did join or watch the recording. Delta is lucky to have Professor Lopez; she is amazing!

This keyboard class is a short course that passes extremely quickly. As long as you complete the homework, you will be successful. At the end of the course, you will take a 3minute typing exam and will have the opportunity to get a typing certificate that you can put on your resume. Professor Lopez offers her full support to her students each week.

You can complete BIM1A & BIM1B all in one semester because they are short. BIM1B focuses a lot on Microsoft Word & document formatting, as well as improving your keyboard skills. Professor Lopez spent time focusing on any questions students had about the homework, allowing us to fix it each week. You will take a 5-minute typing exam in this course.

Professor Lopez is extremely flexible when it comes to assignments and truly wants her students to succeed. She allows resubmissions as long as you watch her video recordings, which shows that she cares more about learning than just grades. She is very understanding and genuinely cares about her students wellbeing, both academically and personally.

Professor Lopez grades fairly, you get the grade of the effort you put into the assignments, simple as that, the work is not hard, just put in the time to get it done.

Professor is amazing! The excel lectures were very detailed and easy to understand. She always encourage students to take good notes and facilitated fun games to reinforce learning. She gave us plenty of opportunities to complete assignments. She shows us empathy and encouraged us to join study groups and get support from a tutor. Highly recommend!
