I thought that Professor Middendorf was an excellent teacher! As long as you do the work that she gives you you are guaranteed an A. She makes her guidelines clear and I wish I had taken her for 102!

Good professor. If you do all the assignments, and ask questions about your papers, you will do well in the class. At times, assignments can run close together. If you miss class, its hard to make up the missed work.

I got gripped at the first couple of days we met in class. So, I was off to a pretty bad start. BUT, I stuck to my guns, read the books, did the assignments, wrote the papers etc, and she has overlooked the lack of intrest I had in the class at the begining of the semester. Her class is NOT social hour, but I learned A LOT!!!

Hated her at first, couldnt stand her and alomst dropped the class. She ended up being a really good teacher. You dont meet for class for a week during mid-terms, and no final. Do the work, and youlle get an A. If youre not a stupid teeny bopper girl who blames everyone else that your homework isnt done...then take her!!! Youlle learn and improve!

She is a no-nonsense teacher

She is a great teacher that has high expectations. This high expectations helped me learn more than I ever have in an English class. I would take her again and did for ENG 102.

You must do reading in this course so be prepared for that.

I learned more about research than I ever knew before. Also, the course helped improve my writing and reading skills.

This instructor does not accept late work so watch out for this. Also, I learned more than I ever had before because we did so much reading and discussion in the course.

Professor Middendorf is one of the best english instructors you'll ever get. she explains the aspects of wirting and gives you really good feedback and suggestions to make you paper even better. I got an A in that class.

Damn hard of a class, but do your assignments easy A. I came into this class a procrastinator and really learned fast to get my work done ahead of time. She does not accept excuses so don't complain about grades. Overall great but hard teacher very time consuming

She rocks my socks but when you are taking this class, "check yo self before you wreck yo self" she's going to make you work HARD

This is not an easy class, but if you actually want to learn something take this class. She is always willing to help you if needed and is strict about homework and coming to class, but if you do your homework and put in some effort this is an easy A class.

One of the best eng teachers I have had. Took this class online, when I wasnt clear about something or needed help she always got RIGHT back to me. Always had extra credit to bring up grade.

Professor Morgan was one of the best English teachers I have had. She expects you to come to class and do your homework/essays. This was an easy A class; if you do your work, that is. She is very helpful and is always willing to help. If your stuck for an idea for a paper, she'll brainstorm with you to help you choose a topic. I recommend!

This teacher is very easy if you are willing to do the work. She demands more work out of you then all your other classes put together. She is pretty boring but offers a lot of extra credit.

You are going to work in this class. We wrote three five-page papers on the three books we read. Two of the books were easy (A Lion Called Christian, Chew on This), but the third one made me want to blow my brains out (The Beauty Myth). She is a very easy grader though. Everything is online. Taking her again for 102.

Iloved this class she made me more motivated and taught me a thing about confindence most say that she is into herself whats wrong with that I was taught if you don't think highly of yourself noone would. She has taught me to strive for what you want don't look for handouts she worked hard to earn her phd. so take it as a positive I reccommend

Alicia Morgan truly teaches the value of hard work. Her class is a lot to handle and is not for everyone, I will say that much. But if you listen to what she says, ask questions and (the most important) don't come to class sick, you should be fine.

Professor Morgan's English 102 class was very challenging, yet a great experience. She assigns a bunch of work and there is a lot of writing required. But my writing skills have improved so much and I can whip out a paper so much faster now that I have survived her class. She is very clear and helpful if you just show that you are trying your best.

She is a really good teacher. You get 2 six-page papers and she gives you time during class to do them. She assigns A LOT of homework, but as long as you do it correctly you will get an easy A. Also, she gives a but load of extra credit and you won't even have to do some assignments.

Assigns a lot of work and its due around the same time. She excepts absolutely no late work at all. But she is very quick to respond to emails. She also offers alot of extra credit. Get ready to read when taking her class.

I took this professor for an online English 103 class. At first I thought why do I need a writing class, but this teacher showed me what type of writing I would do at work and fully prepared me for that writing!! Take this class especially if you are a student seeking employment like me.

If you are a Nursing student like me, I highly recommend this instructor. She is detailed in her feedback and willing to help as much as possible to help you learn and pass the class.

I am in my first year of college and she has made my experience amazing. I have never experienced a teacher who cares and was as helpful as her. I had so much fun researching in this class. This class kept my interest. There is plenty of time to do research projects in this class. I noticed a student below mentioned only having a week. That is not correct! Students are given more than a week to complete the research project and ample time to revise and meet with instructor. She is the best!

In this class, research and writing were fun. I was given plenty of freedom in the class to make my writing my own. The instruction is really individualized.

I was a little nervous taking my first online class. But, the layout of the course was clear. The instructor was very accessible. She would email me back instantly!

This teacher is always willing to answer questions. She even ends each email with "Please let me know when you have questions." She was clear and caring. She would answer the question and describe resources online and otherwise where answers could be found. I will miss this teacher when the semester is complete.

This instructor gives the best assignments--you can choose your own topics!

I would definitely recommend. You are given two research papers. You are given time in class to work. Take advantage of the extra credit.

She is an amazing teacher. She answers any questions you have about your assignments. She gives you time to work on the assignments in class and for the research papers, she helps you step by step to create it. She is a great professor. I took the English 101 online through the summer while taking anatomy II and another biology class. The assignments are very manageable and if you have any question she responds to email pretty quickly. She gives you a topic and you can run with it.

Dr. Morgan was pretty decent. She was particular about papers, but gave pretty decent feedback. She is big on respect. Respect her, and she'll respect you. If you ask her for a reference she is great about it. Fairly clear. Overall decent teacher and great person.

Dr. Morgan is a very polite teacher. Although, there is a lot of work load and the criteria is quite extensive. It is very difficult to keep up with discussions outside of class. Unfortunately, she gives more time inside of class discussing how to to research a paper rather than helping with the actual paper itself. That is the downside.

Professor Morgan is absolutely amazing! I had for for English 102 and I honestly seen it as nearly impossible for someone to not get an A or pass as long as they are doing the work. She is very kind hearted as well as sincere and would helo anyone in any way possible. LOTS OF EXTRA CREDIT AVAILABLE IF NEEDED! Replies quickly to emails with help.

101 was easy: pretty simple and straightforward. 102, on the other hand, was a bit of a struggle. lectures were not particularly helpful and papers were difficult to write in the short time period she allowed. however, when i fell behind in the class and reached out for help she was incredibly accommodating and very kind in helping me.

In the first few weeks of her class, the workload was kind of overwhelming so I wouldnt take her if you have a busy schedule. After a while it died down, and as long as you did the work you were left with most of your points from the class halfway through the semester. she works with you if you are falling behind, so dont be afraid to reach out.

Not an easy A class, you had to work for your grade. She is very accessible outside of class and will help teacher review your paper (I highly suggest this!). She was very helpful during the covid transition. If you're wanting an easy A class, this is not the one, but if you are willing to put in the work, then I'd highly suggest her.

She was very kind and inspirational. She has a tendency to treat you like a kindergartner (playing games in groups.) As long as you keep up with the assignments (essays and textbook questions) youll do fine.

This professor took the time to work one-on-one with me when I needed help. She would meet online or in-person if I needed to meet to get help. She was very responsive to email. One time she emailed me back within one minute!

Took Dr. Morgan's class for Eng101 & 102. I liked that she doesn't require in-person attendance. Keep up with your work online and communicate with her via email. She reviewed my rough drafts & always gave me good feedback on changes to make before submitting. My only negative is that the assignments from the textbook are kind of long and tedious.
