She was amazing. She made class interesting and if very understanding. She takes late papers and the tests weren't hard. Highly recommend!

Didn't know what to expect from this class, but I ended up loving every moment of it. She makes a big deal about how hard the test are going to be but I found them to be quite easy. I just read through the notes and I was ready. Very funny, very nice, sweet and an awesome teacher. I recommend her.

She is such an awesome teacher! I loved her class. She's a stickler for MLA format, and for papers that are written well, but she'll help you. Spring always makes sure that you understand DA the topic, and encourages discussion. it's a fun class, as long as you have fun students in the class.

She gives a Lot of extra credit I believe so that she can tear your essays apart! One student dated to be a half hour late and she told the rest of the class to tell that student "next time don't come if you are going to be late". Really Lady! If a student gets delayed at work and can't get to class on time perhaps you need to remember where the money for your salary comes from. She was petty.

AMAZING TEACHER! absolutely loved her! very easy to work with and very understanding. as long as you take the notes she gives and do a small percentage of studying, you will pass. the field trip you take are quite interesting. her 2 papers are a breeze. we stayed in class the entire time, maybe a few mins late. i would definitely reccomend her :)

One of my favorite teachers at BCC she is soo nice and funny you really learn a lot i wish i had taken it in the Fall/Spring make it longer but oh well great class highly recomend this teacher.

Make sure to REALLY study for tests! A LOT of busy work. REALLY interesting class. Do what your supposed to do and A. If you go to EVERY class you get an extra 5 pts to YOUR WHOLE GRADE. Grace card to exempt absence or journal or 5 pts on test. Bombed first two tests and got an A on the last one and with the pa and grace card I got an A.

Great teacher! First test is kind of hard but if you study, your good. Gives a good amount of extra credit and the class is interesting. 2 test, one group project and a paper. Definitely would take her again if I could!

Ms. Spring's 6 week class was a lot of fun. The exams/quizzes were a little challenging, but if you study, you will be fine. Her lecture style kept me interested. She assigned a moderate amount of homework, most of it was easy. Our only major assignment was a 1200 word research paper. One of my favorite classes!

Loved her stlye of teaching that made it easier to understand the context. All the work is pretty easy. She reviews before each exam, which are fairly easy, and there is a 1200 word research paper on the topic of your choice. Also tons of extra credit available.

This was one of my favorite classes. Dr. Spring teaches with unbiased opinions and she makes sure her students understand the test material. I had a personal family emergency and though I got all of my work in on time, she was very understanding and helpful towards my needs. You learn many fascinating things about religion. Take this class!

She made it very fun and interesting! I went on the field trip to the Hindu ashram. There's a group presentation, a research paper, journal entries, and unit tests (based off the in-class notes). She has quite a few extra credit opportunities. I loved learning about the other religions and I've definitely applied what I learned in real life! :)

Such a sweet person and you can tell she looks at you as more than a number. So accepting of all religions and opinions and never ridicules a religion, she's very educated and politically correct in all of her statements. Go to the field trips! They're extra credit and you will learn something interesting.

When I signed up for this class, I wasn't looking forward to it. I don't have anything against religion, but I was worried religion was going to be shoved at me. COMPLETELY WRONG. This actually became my second favorite class, behind my Psych class. Awesome woman, and the way she presented religion was perfect. Take this class, you won't regret it.

Fave class. Her lectures were very interesting, and there are very few assignments. They're not busy work, you actually learn stuff, but at the same time they're easy. Definitely recommend!! I wish she taught more classes because I'd love to take her again.

I was excited to take this class because so many people I know have loved World Religions. I was not disappointed. Mrs. Spring was a great teacher and her lectures were always interesting. I looked forward to class every week. I wish she taught more classes.

Spring's Honors World Religion is a terrific class. If you can take it, I suggest you do. The environment is encouraging, she's clear, focussed, well organized and smart. It is NOT an easy class. You work a lot, but it's worth it. (I find the subject matter fascinating.) The professor is enthusiastic and very reliable and helpful. It's a pleasure.

Had her for Honors World Relgions. Great teacher. very interesting class. Read the book, it will help. I didn't and I should have. Not a ton of busy work, but there are a few long papers.

Great Professor! Loved the class discussions and content that we went over. It's a tough course but she made it easy to understand and it was interesting. She does give Chapter Quizzes (only about 5 chapters) but they are long and have to read them. Do the work and you'll pass. Tests are simple and Professor Spring is genuinely fun and interesting.

AMAZING! I learned so much from this class and I still remember all of it. She makes you really feel the experience of these religions and even meditates with you at the begin of class. The lectures were amazing and super easy to grasp the information! Literally I would take this class again! If you go to every class that semester you even get E.C.

Wonderful class and a great professor with an interesting subject. She offered lots of extra credit, along with Service Learning if you want to do that. Textbook was used a couple of times, but if you don't want to purchase or rent, you can always do your reading with the library's copy. Seriously, one of my favorite professors ever.

Awesome teacher! Pretty easy tests, two paper, and a midterm and final. One paper was on a cultural experience you had to go to and the other one you could choose the topic. Kind of picky on MLA. Highly recommend!

I would take this class again if I could. Her lectures were amazing and of course there was homework but we had a week to get it done. Two Gordon rule assignments and a final presentation at the end with a small group. She's always available if you need. Overall, she makes it a really fun class

She is really nice and she doesn not give you difficult work, 10 journals they are easy 2 papers second one takes more time, three tests the second is the toughest and one presentation, i leanred a lot from her and she makes the course very interesting, just do the work and you'll get an easy A

Dr. Spring was an amazing teacher! She made the class interesting and ties in the lessons very well. There are only 3 tests, 2 essays, and "pop quizzes" that she will tell you about the class before. Highly recommend her, she explains everything really well and answers questions clearly. TAKE NOTES and go on the field trip!!!

Very nice and gives good lectures. Reasonable grader. Mostly homework rather than classwork. You will have the occasional pop quiz but they're not horribly challenging. Pay attention in class and read the book chapters and you'll get an A.

Great class, I honestly thought that I would not like it. Turned out it's actually a good class. Teacher does care about her students. Not sure how Fall or Spring is but Summer is pretty easy.

Dr spring was a nice woman. She never forces a religion on you & she knows a ton about all religions. TAKE HER DURING THE SUMMER if you don't want as much work. You don't have to do certain assignments & "pop" quizzes aren't graded! You need to know how to write a decent essay. There are also group projects. Lot of homework but not hard.

Dr. Spring is very inspirational! She was my first college professor ever, and really took the edge off of my stress and anxiety. Part of that may have been because of the times we meditated before the start of our lesson :-) She is always attentive and precise about instructions. She shows that learning religion shouldn't be a hard thing to do!

Midterm is probably the most difficult of the 3 tests. Exemption from final if you do community service. Book was used every class. Very easy and interesting class, highly recommend

Professor Springs was such a kind lady, she was always eager to help students. Her discussions are extremely interesting and interactive if you choose to. Very fast grader and constantly . Research papers are a little tricky, and I consider myself a strong writer. Such an interesting course.

The one thing I did not like about the class is that she sped through the western religions. I don't know if thats cus she expected us to know them or what. I probably wouldn't have passed the exam on the western religions but luckily I opted out and did servicelearning instead-which i advise you to do cus you get out of the exam and a group presi.

Dr. Spring is an amazing teacher. If you already need or want volunteer hours, please take this class! It's a fairly easy A. You just have to show up and turn in the weekly homework and you'll pass without a problem. Every e-mail I sent to her was responded to in a timely manner. She's very understanding and approachable.

She was a fine teacher. Interesting material, but every class was a LONG lecture. Graded tough, but over if you show up and do the homework- you should be fine.

Dr. Spring's class isn't exactly a cakewalk, but if you take notes during lecture and pay attention, you'll do fine. She tells you about the "pop quizzes" before they happen, the tests are based on the notes you take from her lectures in class, and papers/assignments/discussions are pretty straightforward and easy to complete. She is a really good teacher. Her lectures are engaging and really interesting. I knew nothing about Religion, but after this class I felt informed and more interested in the subject. She's respectful to all her students and tries to make the experience as unique as possible.

Shes really nice and funny and respects each religion. Before this class, I knew very little about world religions but now im so interested in them thanks to her! She made each lecture very engaging and interesting. Kind of a hard grader though so be careful with the 2 papers.

She gives many perspectives to other religions, and has passion for teaching them all. Just take good notes and do the discussion board and then youre good. There are three major papers but she lets you choose. Shes amazing, I couldnt recommend her anymore then I am now. Take her. You wont regret it.

I loved taking her class! She gives amazing lectures and stays respectful to all religions and their beliefs. Shes very clear on whats going to be on tests and theres only 2 papers and 1 group project. Shes the kind of professor that really wants everybody to pass and is very caring.

She isn't a hard teacher and gave plenty of feedback if you asked for. Aside from just being able to stay on top of the chapters, it is very straight forward. You do have to do a couple of smaller papers, but they aren't hard topics. Stay on top of the work, and when in doubt Quizlet it, because I found most of it on there.

THE BEST! I took her hybrid course. She really knows her stuff so she makes her lectures easy to pay attention to. 2 essay, she grades hard but I got a B on both and I am not that good at writing. Whole class is just online quizzes (which are questions from the powerpoints, not surprises), discussion boards, and a final (which is a group project)

Dr. Spring is very knowledgeable and super passionate about religious education. There are a couple extra credit opportunities offered which I highly recommend. There are 1-2 research papers to write and a group project, pop quizzes are regular but if you listen to lectures they aren't too bad. Really interesting class, be careful about tardiness!

AMAZING professor. She is so versed and experienced in all the religions she teaches, so it's interesting and not just straight from text. Participation and staying on top of work/due dates is vital. Definitely reccommend her if you can take her!

She is so nice and understanding! The workload isn't much, and it's interesting stuff. There were 2 major papers, and weekly discussions and quizzes.

Great teacher overall. There is a lot of reading. The homework can take a long time if you strive for 100% since each question wages grade points. There are discussion posts, a midterm and a final, not proctored. There is a research paper, very time consuming. As long as you put in the effort, you can get an A.

Dr. Spring was so amazing. I had her for an 8-week class online. There are discussion boards every week that were due on Fridays, not hard at all; always interesting topics. There were a total of two papers, one was 500 words and the other was 1,200 words. She always gave great feedback and her instructions are very clear with each assignment :)
