I had this professor from Fall 2002-Summer 2003. He was difficult to understand at times, but always willing to help after class if you needed help. He is a delightful professor and I would highly recommend him for remedial math.

The best math teacher I've had. He's very committed to the students success. Explains subect well and welcomes questions. He makes sure you understand. If your struggling in math, he's definitely the one. Thks Dr. K

I took him for 306-312, and he was about the nicest and best teacher ever. He gives extra points for each test and does not pull any tricks with his tests. He is easy to understand and is always available for outside help.

If I passed this class anyone can! He's really helpful and explains things very well. I was struggling (because I'm math retarded) and still passed the class! Just show him that you're trying and there's no way youÂ’ll fail. Oh make sure you do the Math Lab (come on easy 100's even for math retards).

Pro. Khansari is an excellent math teacher. Extremely helpful, and makes math easy to comprehend. no assignments, but he does give work to do for each section but it never has to be turned in, its just to help you remember. Easy--will let you know as you are going through sections what will be on your next test. take him!

Dr Khansari is a father not just a teacher. I was a math retard b/f I took Dr K but with his help I made all A's in all the three math courses I took with him. I love DR K, he does drop the lowest grade but you do need to do your part, no laziness in his class and please never miss a class b/c you will miss important informations. I love you Dr K!.

Very funny guy. Does offer alot of bonus points so take advantage of it. All you have to do is show up to class or you will be lost, but other then that he is not bad at all.

He is a good teacher, make sure u dont miss class. As long as u do his bonus points which is the review before the tests u will do well. This is the same for the final exam, same questions different numbers. Don't talk while hes teaching, get caught using calculaters and write on the tests papers--he will freak out on you HS style.

best math teacher, gives lots of opportunities for exra credit, his lessons are taught very carefully, he gives 6 tests with the lowest grade of the 6 being dropped, and homk for practice, but he does not check it or grade it, its just practice, B4 tests gives homk assign. and gives extra pts on test if homk is done. really cool teacher! Prof Khansari is a very knowledgeable and good teacher. However, he's too lenient with students and because of his slow pace, we didn't cover all the material during the semester. Toward the end, he was rushing to get us caught up and the quality of teaching went downhill from there. He needs to make a new schedule and stick to it.

4th attempt at Pre-Algebra, 1st time actually understanding what it going on. He takes the time to make sure everyone understands what is being covered, and explains things far easier than the book. I will be taking his classes for as long as I am able to.

Dr. Khansari was very helpful and gives you bonus points if you do the reviews. He rarely used the textbook but he didn't need it, he's a great teacher. I would take him again. I slacked off and still passed because I understood everything in class I just didn't do the homework.

Dr. Khansari would explain everything and make the most intimidating equations very simple. I really liked his class. His method of teaching is great! The only reason I got a low grade was because it was a 4 week class and I didn't study like I should have.

Class not easy, a lot of homework from textbook and on my math lab but its difficult to fail his class if you attend class & do all homework which books your final grade greatly. He rekindled my love for math, take him but you must earn your grade thru hard work. This is college not high school!

Professor K. really wants you to suceed. He is clear, stops, gives you shortcuts and is super helpful, attend class or you will miss major information and will be lost, he gave me hope for math since it is a tough subject for me. Ive taking math 0312 multiple times, Dr. Khansari is BY FAR the best math professor I ever had. Come to class, PAY ATTENTION, you are at school to learn and he is there to teach. I passed the class with an average of 105. He gives a ton of extra credit. If you get anything below an A, you did not try hard enough.

This professor is the best and well known, for those who are planning on taking 0409, please trust me when i say he is a slow teacher, the way he teaches that is. BUT, its not that slow and you'll understand EVERYTHING. he's one of the best and he may seem serious, but relax its just how he is, he's funny and real nice. take him, no regrets. A+++

Mr. Khansari is a really good teacher; he gives lots of notes and homework. However, you MUST come to class! He stresses that the whole semester lol. If you don't then he won't take you seriously and offers less help because he assumes you don't care. He knows how to really simplify math and offers extra credit even on the final exam.

I have so many wonderful things to say about Professor K, but mainly that he wasn't only a professor to his students, but a mentor and a friend as well. He does expect A LOT of homework, but it only comes to your benefit and will make the tests easy peasy. Before I took his class I was not confident in math AT ALL. Now I'm college level!

Professor Khansari has a very heavy accent so sit at the front. If you are looking for a teacher who genuinely cares and has no problem with you asking any question to help you pass, CHOOSE HIM. If I could, I would take him again and again. Whatever you don't understand he will help you till you do. Do homework and attend class, you will pass.

I don't have enough good things to say about him. He gives good clear lectures and doesn't move on until the class understands the material. The tests are straightforward, and as long as you do the homework you'll pass the test. He gives an additional 10 points to the test grade if you complete all your homework for that chapter.

I am not the best at math but Professor Khansari is a decent math teacher. He is always available outside of class and will help you when you don't understand something he says in class right then and there. Show up, take notes, and do mymathlabs and you will do just fine.

If you have problems with math he's they guy I would highy recommend. He don't move on until everyone in the class understands how to do that problem and also give you the answers for the final and midterm. I had him for 0309 and 0314 passed with a 85 both times

After years of being out of school, he made introduction to algebra super easy. If you take notes, attend class and study, he is an easy professor. Takes time to explain things and makes sure you understand. Also gives extra credit (take advantage of that) tells you exactly what will be on the test, so make sure you do not miss class. Mr. K really helped me and adapted well to online teaching( the class was in person, but the last 4 weeks ended up online due to the Covid-19). He is respectful and patient(, as long as you have a will to learn). Math is my weakest subject and I managed a B+. Dr. Ali is amazing!! He really cares about his students. He makes sure everyone in class is clear before moving on. Gives lots of examples. Drops the lowest test score and lowest quiz score. Gives you the final exam review with answers at the very beginning of class

I dont really understand math but this professor really simplified it! Although his classes are long he is very understanding and flexible with attendance! He drops some quizzes and test. Professor Khansari is great at breaking down math concepts. His classes are engaging, and he's flexible with attendance. Unstuck AI was a lifesaver for test prep, along with the practice materials he provides. Overall, an easy A if you put in the work.

Easy exams if you can pay attention to the lectures.

I took Professor Khansari this year for Math 0424, Overall I think he gives good lectures and makes the class very easy. He is a very kind and understanding guy and I love his way of teaching and makes math easy and fun! Make sure to do your Aleks and study well and you can pass this class easy. He a bit strict on using your phone during class.

Absolutely the best professor you can take for a math class. The professor is caring, patient, and remembers his students by name, and is very flexible with schedules. He does require lockdown browser for all exams but he will guide you and prepare you for upcoming tests and quizzes. Participation is important so speak up for easy points.

I passed with an A! I was never good at math. Professor Khansari helped me a lot with giving us multiple examples and showed us the easiest way to the problems without over complicating it. He even helped us out before the final and gave a lot of his own personal time to help us out. I would 100% recommend taking his class you would not regret it.
