Professor was good all in all, the course was lecture heavy and I felt as if there could have been more things to engage the class rather than just going through power point slides each class period, when I can read through those alone at home. Could definitely benefit from a better control over the classroom when unruly students disrupt everyone, but that will hopefully come with time and experience. Be ready to read, write different length essays each week and take weekly exams. The weekly exams are extremely hard and take a long time to complete. Dr. Fornah does care about each of our concerns and addresses them by making changes to the course to fit our current semester. Dr. Fornah is a great Professor, he wants each of us to succeed.

Dr. Fornah cares that you learn and understand what he is asking of you. He is readily available to assist you and takes that time to help you as much as needed. He makes it easier to learn about a subject that can be challenging to do a bunch or reading about.

Dr. Fornah was fair and willing to work with students during what is a difficult time for many. He is very flexible and extremely accessible. He is new/young and still developing his style. His lectures relied heavily on the text, so I mostly just read instead of listening to the lectures. He is clearly passionate about sharing knowledge.

I received high As on all tests; but for someone who may not do as well on tests they may like classes with homework, to bring grades up.

The course is a good step by step progression. I like how the extra videos and slide presentations follow closely with the textbook chapters. It all ties together, well. Discussions are great for getting you to think critically about the concepts of precision agriculture.

I enjoyed Dr. Fornahs course and lab. I learned a lot about things going on right in front of my face that I never had stopped to think about. My household will be making some changes to help slow down the damage being done to our environment.

Class was 4 days a week (2 online and 2 in-person) if you miss a lecture it is posted but you get a better understanding in class. Labs really require a good lab group or attendance every week. He is pretty good at keeping things manageable though.

Dr. Fornah is one of the best teachers I have ever met. He uses different teaching skills to pass information. He uses powerpoints, videos, labs, group project and class discussions, assignment, quiz, test, writing papers, and pictures in his teaching. Take his class!

He is a good teacher you may have to remind him to recover math portions that tend to be more challenging to the class, and sometimes he can go fast in the power point slides but he will adjust if you ask to go to previous slide. Other than that awesome clear structure everything you get tested on will be covered.
