Professor Chapman is the best psychology teacher. Her notes are clear and concise and she covers the focal points of all quizzes and tests. She does not do powerpoint presentations, but she does provide an excellent study guide. Before each test she tells everyone what they need to study. If you do not get an A, you did not apply yourself.

Great Professor! This is the best teacher to have for an introductory course in psychology. She's willing to help you do your best, and goes over the concepts that are difficult to understand until you get them. In Dr Chapman's class you don't just learn to take a test and then forget the information, you absorb the information. Now that's learning

I attend UMBC now, but I just wanted to say that Professor Chapman is still one of the best professors I've ever had. A year and a half after taking her class, I still retain most of what I learned. Her teaching methods are wonderful- and I've adopted the study methodologies from Psyc and apply them to my other classes w/ success. Thanks so much!

She is an AWESOME professor. Learning the material is very easy because she takes the time to throughly explain the material. Extra credit oppertunities are plentiful!

I am taking her online class and I love her. She answers questions in a timely manner. She gives u all the assignments and dates that they are due on the first day of class so you can move at your own pace. She grades fair, she just likes to see that you have completed the assignment and have followed directions. DEF recommend her to my friends!

Professor Diop is one of the best teachers I've had. She brought her powerpoints printed out for the students and made her students involved with the class by encouraging us to ask questions. I wish that I could have a teacher like this for all of my classes.

I took this as my 1st online course in the Fall 2009 not knowing what to expect. Dr. Diop is a good professor, attentive, answered my questions/problems I had. The course requires a lot of reading (you read the entire book), there were chapter reviews & exams. If you study the words for each chapter & used the review sheets you will pass the exam.

Dr. D is a great professor i had her for online Psyc 101 and it wasnt hard at all she worked with you

She was very clear in what she expected out of us as students. I took her psych 101 class in the winter semester (4 weeks) and it was A LOTTTTTT of work. She does not give short cuts and expects a lot out of you. She did offer extra credit. I had to put A LOT of work and effort to do well in her class.

Excellent online class for the "independent learner". (If you need someone to hold your hand all the way through the semester, take something else.) The content was very interesting in my opinion. The work is plentiful but extremely easy if you know how to read. All of the assignments are pre-posted so you can complete them at your own pace (pre-due date). The quizzes are open book... which helped me to master and retain the content. Dr. Diop is great!

This is an easy A class if you can stand sitting through it. She gets off topic sooo easily and reads her powper points word for word... stopped going, will probably re-take this class online. If you're dedicated to going to class even when you're annoyed this is for you.

I took this class online. All material was available from the start, allowing you to work ahead as time permitted. The teacher responded quickly to emails and was willing to help students. There was a lot of work involved but it wasn't difficult. Highly recommended.

Not an easy A. Easy A if you study and do her work. She is AWESOME!! I took her 101 and 101 and many of my 101 classmates did the same. She is so good, I recommend her to EVERYONE!!!

I love Diop, I have taken 3 classes from her, 2 in classroom and 1 online. She makes the information fun and her work is pretty easy if you stay attentive

Uses powerpoints and follows directly from the textbook. Powerpoints outline exactly what will be on the exams. She uses bonus questions as well for all of the exams except for the final. Know the textbook and the class is easy.

Easy A.....extremely boring to sit through but she makes the class so easy to pass with all of her extra credit and easy going attitude. Would not take her again she is boring.

I am taking an online class of hers and it is great. The class is easy if you actually read the book, no trick questions or hidden assignments.

The notes are from her slides, so look over them. There's not a lot of slides for each chapter, which makes it much easier. Her tests were multiple choice. She makes the content very easy to understand by explaining it in depth. She's also funny and very helpful. She's lenient with late assignments, but still do your best to turn them in on time.

Very organized class (online)! Stuck with schedule and provided extra credit! Quick to get back when contacting.

Powerpoints and class discussion helped to absorb the most important information from each chapter. Assignments were clear, as were their due dates. There were plenty of opportunities to gain extra credit, but students should never slack or these opportunities will be wasted!

Prof. Diop was a very understanding and organized instructor. She treats everybody fairly.She provides a powerpoint so a student can easily study from it. She also gives a lot of extra credits BUT don't take it for granted. Do her extra creds, attend class reg., and STUDY!

Professor Diop is the best in her field.she is very helpful, she knows Her job. She will make you want to know more. She teaches in a very interesting way. She is very encouraging , she wants he students to learn and succeed.

She is so quick to get back to you. She offers plenty of extra credit opportunities. The syllabus has everything mapped out beautifully. She is very understanding about the outside world getting in the way sometimes. The work can be difficult, but as long as you do the reading you should be fine. If you ever need help she is just an email away!

Dr. Diop is an EXCELLENT Professor. I took this course his past spring. The only drawback was she took several months to grade the assignments. Her syllabus was very informative. The assignments were well written & easy to follow. She gave several extra credit assignments. This was an easy A as long as you did the readings & the assignments!!!

I loved this class! Everything was explained in detail. Read the text and get an easy A! The teacher did not grade work until the end of the class but she was easy on grading. If there were any issues you could email or text her. I look forword to taking another class with her.

She is an excellent professor. I would take her again. She makes the class easy because it is understandable and relates to life.

Dr. Diop is an amazing professor to take if you enjoy clear instructions for assignments and being able to work through assignments with little restrictions. Her wording on the research project regarding group work wasn't explained thoroughly, but it wouldn't make a huge impact to your grade. Follow the rubrics and do the work, and get an "A".

I took Dr. D for a winter semester online & she was by far the best Psychology professor I've ever had online. She was very clear about assignments & due dates. She went along with the syllabus the entire time. I definitely wish I could've taken this class with her in a face to face setting. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Dr. D is one of the best psyc. professors she's friendly and funny. All of lessons are power points on Blackboard. In class she teaches off the power points but there's always a discussion. And if you have a question she's really good at answering it in a way that's easy to understand. If you fail her class you either didn't try or didn't show up.

This was my first online class and in fact I loved it. She is amazing and helpful. If anyone fails her class it's because they want to fail. Would take her whenever.

Her lectures are very easy and simple to understand. I got an A and did not use the book. All I studied were her GREAT POWERPOINTS!! Highly recommend this teacher. Nice and friendly. You do have to do volunteer hours and work in a group but it is fun and a great experience. I volunteered at the daycare in CCBC Catonsville. Offers extra credit!

Attended her 5 week summer class. It was open notes for every exam. Once you get the hang of how she outlines exams, you will ace everyone. I would highly recommend this teacher!

I took her 5 week summer class online. There were 4 tests that were open-note and the answers are right from the book. Weekly assignments were easy. There was one research paper but it wasn't bad. She gives extra credit quizzes. As long as you get the work done, I can't see how anyone gets less than an A.

Awesome professor! She really worked with you. Even though I took an online course, this professor worked with me because I kept in touch and up to date. She is very understanding and down to earth. Coursework was pretty simple that you did't really need the textbook. There actually was an online textbook provided for free!

This is my second time having Dr. D (what she allows students to call her) as a professor. She gives you pretty easy and simple assignments. Test are open book and notebook! Very understanding of students having an outside life, she gives great feedback and actually communicate. I would highly recommend taking her online or face-to-face.

Professor Diop gives really good feedback on every assignment, and is caring. She is not super accessible outside of class, but all assignments are easy and have clear directions. She is a really good choice!!

Prof Diop beautifully laid out this online course. You knew what unit to study which week and what was due that week. I didn't get the book and passed with an A. There are PowerPoints and for my class both the midterm and the final were open note/book (I suggest printing out the unit reviews, you'll thank me later). Easy A. Just do the work. :)

Took her multicultural psych class in 2018. Probably one of the best psych professors at CCBC. Take her if you want an easy A!

I just finished her Psych 101 class for Fall 2020 and Professor Diop is an amazing professor!! There is quite a bit of work. But overall she's a generous grader, and lenient with her policies (Extra credit, Re-dos, and Open Note tests are given). She also posts PowerPoints for every chapter.

I enjoyed taking this class for spring semester. Profess. Diop was amazing! Yes, you do have to work but if you focus and get everything done on time; there is no way you can fail. She answers your emails in a timely matter and her grading criteria was understandable. If you do what is expected, you will not have any issues. Will recommend!

I took her class all online (7 weeks) and it was pretty easy. She's very organized and the course schedule is easy to access/navigate. She always had reminders every week for upcoming assignments or exams. If you're taking a 7-week course with her then definitely check the syllabus and stay on track because work/reading will catch up w/ you.

Dr. Diop is an awesome professor! While I completed PSYC 101 asynchronously and in 7 weeks, I feel as if I had done really well in the course because of the way Dr. Diop structured it. When our former professor dropped the course and Dr. Diop took over she added so many extra credit opportunities for us and truly allowed us to succeed in her class.

Dr. Diop cares about her students' grades and gave us tons of extra credit this past 1/2-semester in addition to the extra credit that a different professor had before Dr. Diop took over. This gave us an opportunity to boost our grade if we didn't do well. Tests are also open note so this helps a lot with workload & studying! Take Dr. Diop, easy A!

The course is well organized and there are many chances for extra credit. Each assignment is spaced out reasonably, giving time to do them, and taking stress off. She replies fast to emails and accommodates to extensions. She's a chill online prof, take her.

Very easy class. Each module consisted of a 50 pt. exam review, a discussion post (with one reply), and an exam. The exams (including the final) are all open note with a respondus browser and includes easy multiple choice questions. In my class there was up to 25 extra credit points in the form of true/false quizzes.
