Teacher takes the time to go over everything with you thoroughly. Takes time for the class for them to fully understand. Great teacher for math(knows how to convey it to the individual) and the jokes aren't so bad.

THE BEST MATH TEACHER EVER! This is the first time i ever got an A in math. She moves quick but breaks the problems down so that you understand it. LOTS of HW. She is so sweet. Her test are straight from the HW assignments. Just do your HW and ****to class and you will pass. College freshmen ESPECAILLY should take her. I HATED MATH till NOW.

Prof. Hammack is really a great teacher. She really tries to ensure you are getting the concepts needed for success. I took a hybrid course(1 hr. class, 1 hr lab, and the rest online) and it was the right balance. Take her class if you really want to learn the material and it's also set up to get the best change at an A.

Mrs Hammack is great and help full. I really did not care for algebra but she made it easy. I had her for pre algebra and beg algebra. I recommend.

Professor Hammock really cares about her students and does everything in her power to help you succeed. Weekly HW, quizzes, 3 Exams, and a CUM/Final. I took her for MAT 1033c Hybrid and LOVED it! Be organized, do the work,and keep moving forward. Must be computer friendly for this HYBRID course. Hopefully, I will be getting an "A" by finals!!!

Sweetest teacher ever! She gave so much bonus at the end, it is impossible not to pass. plus, if you do HW & quizzes early, you get bonus points! Math is my least favorite subject, and I'm passing with a 96 A! Make sure you're on time to class, and go to lab, and you're set!

I liked this teacher. I hear others say that she just sits in front of a projector and doesn't do much. Which is true, but all math professors at Valencia do this. I like Prof Hammack because she is sweet, always replies to emails, and you can really see her trying to help each student. If you have a question, she will always answer.

Mrs. Hammack is a great teacher and is very sweet (kinda Mom like). She cares about her students, emails back promptly, and is always there if you need help. She's been one of the most organized teachers I've had at Valencia, which really helps if you're taking several classes. Make sure you print out the notes before class and you'll be set.

Professor Hammack works with you after class, had office hours, offered extra credit and bonus points and did everything to help you succeed. Math is very hard for me and without her support, I wouldn't have passed. Tests are difficult for me so she let me take the final in the testing center. Assignments are through Webassign. Take her class!

If you are not good at math DO NOT take the flipped model class! Professor hammack is so sweet but she does not teach in class! You watch videos before class and do group work in class. If you do not like to come to class, DO NOT take the flipped model class. Need to work for the A! Take her but not the flipped model course!!

Professor Hammack is the best maths teacher ever. She is patient and she knows her stuff. She grades tests quickly and returns them promptly.

I enjoyed the large section flipped algebra class. We watched the lecture videos outside of class usually two per week and took notes on the provided note sheets. I liked being able to pause the videos while learning. In class we worked in groups on the homework and Mrs. Hammack and her TAs came around and gave us help. Great class!

The homework can be long but, if you finish it early she gives you bonus points. She always responds in a timely manner and is very helpful. She is probably one of the nicest professors I've ever had. She gives you every opportunity to succeed, just be sure to do the work and study. I'll be taking her for my next math class.

Do your homework AHEAD of the due date to get extra credit, and take advantage of the refresher modules (more extra credit) if you want to boost your exam scores. No surprises for her exams, as they are the same (yet different numbers) as the practice exams!

Professor Hammack is one of the best math teachers I've ever had. She really wants to see her students succeed. I went from failing algebra in high school to passing with an A in her class. She gives you many opportunities to earn extra credit, makes the class engaging, and allows you to retake the first 2 tests if you don't do so well.

Prof. Hammack was the best professor. The whole class is set up so you can do it on your own. There were 2-3 assignments due each week, one was a quiz or a test, there were only 3 tests and 1 final. She gives you a study guide that is almost exactly like her tests. Take her, she was awesome!!!

I took her online class that was setup in Canvas using WebAssign. It was very organized with good short lecture videos. The professor is very responsive to emails. The tests are proctored at a testing center near where you live. Good class.

TAKE THIS CLASS! This professor is truly amazing not only is her online class extremely flexible for those who work jobs and go to school but she gives you practice exams before all the actual exams! Tons of extra credit opportunity and really cares about all her students passing, if you don't pass this class you must've not even tried. love her!

Take this class! The Canvas course is well organized with good math learning videos that are easy to follow and take notes from. My textbook materials were free!! Professor and math lab assistants provide math help in zoom sessions. No required in-person meetings, but can go to zoom help sessions as needed.

TAKE THIS CLASS!! Professor Hammack offers bonus for you to refresh you rusty math skills. Do it! The instructional videos are clear and have note sheets you can print to follow along. The zoom math lab help sessions are great. Attend these!! I'm not good at math and this class helped me to like math!

I most definitely recommend this class and Professor to another student. I really liked how professor Hammack has all of the work uploaded. It gave me time to organize my schedule since the due dates and assignments were uploaded ahead of time. She responded to my emails fairly quick and seems very caring about her students. Take her!

Math is my weakest subject but she teaches in a high school type of way which is something I NEED in math. The same assignments every week which was nice. Provides a bunch of resources and videos over material. Offers extra credit. Take her!

hammack was pretty alright. there was a LOT of work in the course and there wasnt much help besides the singular video in the assignment for each question which ended up being wrong 50 times out of 100. if u take this over summer, be prepared to not get a break at all. even if ur on vacay and out of town. she does respond pretty well to emails tho!

I've never been great at math, but Professor Hammack made this class a breeze. While most of the work is online, the class days, labs, and videos posted on Canvas helped tremendously. You get to use a paper with notes for the mid-term/final! She's super understanding if life happens, and responds to messages quickly. She was also super sweet! :)

She doesn't teach much in class but lab is super helpful in my opinion. Andre (lab instructor) is amazing, he does problems on the board and helps so much. she gives extra credit assignments almost weekly. She also lets you use a cheat sheet on the midterm with whatever formulas or example problems you need and gives extra & partial credit.

A lot of Homework. The test is worth more than 50 percent of your grade, you really have to do your best on the test and study! I love how Professor Hammack is very sweet. She drops low grades at the end of the semester to help our grade out. Also get a chance to retake a chance we did bad on for our final

She's a great professor as long as you show up to class and pay attention. She give out extra test points for doing easy reviews and the final in the class was a retest of your lowest grade.

I have always struggled with math, but her lectures were very helpful in providing plenty of explanations and examples. 2-3 assignments per week; they can be time-consuming, but they're easy. Labs are mandatory. 4 tests total, they're a big part of your grade but her reviews are almost like the test and you can retake your lowest grade.
