Professor Stone is awesome she's super nice ...helps you with anything you need and gives you a lot of chances to better your grade she's a really good professors and loves what she does ..and shes very sweet and funny

She gives too much homework. Essays every week, plus reading and quizes TOO MUCH!!! She is flexible and super nice.

Professor stone is a great professor, she is a very strong woman and she like when you cover the work in the way she wants it. She is has a very careful way about her, she laugh allot. However, in order to make a A in her class just follow everything that she requires of you, also she well allow you to rewrite your essay to improve your gradesl.

this class is not easy, it is time consuming,but she makes it in a way fun for people. She finds interesting topics and stuff to do they u end up liking. u will need help from the writting center to do some assignments she is extremly helpful if u go to the writting center she will fix all your errors and explain them to u highly recomended

She's a cool teacher and her class is super slack. She doesnt really give out any tests so make sure you do the assignments. The only thing that pissed me off about her was that she was like 30 min late everyday and sometimes rushes the lectures.

Here it is..She shows up to class whenever she wants..even when she does show up it is at least 15 mins into the class time (an extra 15 minutes of sleep right there). She will only show you your grades near the end of the semester (not allowing you to know whether to drop the class or not). Other than that she is ok, if can stand her corny jokes.

Professor Stone is a great and really nice professor. However, she's late every single day and sometimes doesn't even show up to class. One thing that is cool about her is that she works with you to get a better grade in the class but at the same time, the class is almost finished and I don't even know what I have.

if you're an idiot dont take this class. she returns papers when you're struggling but if you cheat she won't bother with you. go to the lab and she will help you. i had a baby during the semester and had to miss the last month of class. she wouldnt let me drop but let me take it independent study. i got an A when other profs were dropping me

THUG LYF!!! she's the queen pin she doesnt make writing hard /supportive/gives lyf lessons and will school ya if you pay attn/holy grail is da bomb! i studied for the whole class in like a week.

Excellent teacher-WHEN SHE SHOWS UP! She is ALWAYS late and when she does show up she'll assign a couple of assignments and dismiss the class. This class might be ideal for someone who's just trying to drag their way thru college, but I'm actually trying to learn something. It's a shame because she's a good professor-needs work ethic though.

She's easy. Just do your work. And if it's gonna be late, just don't be afraid to TALK TO HER. She HATES it when people don't TALK TO HER & then don't do their assignments. They fail her class because of it. EVERYONE else passes. She goes out of her way to help EVERYONE! She makes herself available to everyone. If you fail her class, you wanted to!

I like this teacher a lot..I took 1101 with her and I got an A, now Im taking 1102 with her too. She is very helpful, funny and she is NEVER in a bad mood, that is what makes her special :) You learn a lot in her class and if you do all the assignments you will be fine.

THis professor is awesome! even though she may not show up, it was only her early morning 7:25 class which is understandable too early =/ .. bt all her other classes, she shows up! she teaches in a helpful manner, shes also fun! honestly, its an easy A ! take her !!!!!!!!! she's the best !!!

Awesome teacher! More hands off than Im used too, but she puts EVERYTHING online which helps and gave a final that was all extra credit. I earned a B in the class but I could have done better if I had went to tutoring she's funny and a great pick if you hate the ones who make writing torture

By far, one of the best professors at Dade. She keeps it all to the point. She won't give you the time of day if you're an idiot though. There were some people who never came to class and then asked stupid questions that she'd nicely answer anyways. Give me a break! If you're not a real college student, this is not a class for you, loser!

Okaay professor. The class is more difficult than it should be. She thinks everyone is a English major. Even though she posts all the handouts and power points online and grades she's slow to respond to her email and expects you to figure it all for yourself. She gave way too many assignments and doesn't let you make up anything. Don't take her!

Great professor very accommodating and cares about her students gave extensions and helped us individually with the research paper some complained about her returning comments on papers but she did workshops and the writing lab you gotta be ready she won't care if you won't

All of you are haters, this is the best professor at MDC. If you don't like reading, know how to study like aREAL college student, then you don't belong in this class. This is so esy, handouts for everything, powerpoints and online grades. yer an ID10T if you cant pass this class!

Professor Stone had very great information to share to students but was never in class. She would always show up the last 10 to 15 minutes of class a thought a 50 minute lesson in that time. It was ridiculous and impossible to learn anything from her. The only way i passes was by writing her papers and staying on track with the homework. good luck!

Good professor lectures are understandable she doesn't bother with fools though if you play around in her class you're sure to fail don't take this class if you don't like reading she gives a lot of work and the papers are hard as hell don't be fooled by her handouts she's looking for you to pay attention to the details

Great Professor! very interesting and committed to her students. She gives powerpoints, so you have to be there to receive them. She very flexible and very clear on her teachings. You will have no problem in her class if you come to every class and participate. you will get an 'A' for sure.

She is a great professor! She's super funny & very helpful. All you have to do is go to class, & take notes, & you will be just fine. Also, use the writing center! If you can, make the appointment with her, because she helped me with one of her papers & I got an A :) she's great! I definitely recommend her.

Professor Stone is the best, she is very calmed and answers all your questions. You only need the textbook so that you know how to cite correctly. All y do during the semester is MCL's, and 2 essays and 2 exams the class is very easy and fun to be in she also gives daily powerpoints that helps, she is very nice TAKE HER..!!!!

TOO MANY ESSAYS! If you do not like writing do not take her class. The final grades is based on what you receive on her essays

She was absolutely amazing! If I could have, I would have had her for my ENC1101 as well. She keeps the class interesting. She doesn't assign much work, but when she does you should do it if you're aiming for an A. If you need help or guidance with anything, she is super friendly and always welcome to offer help.

I would take the class again! She puts a lot of stuff for you to study, and a lot of reading. But you will learn the basics in a easy way, and if you're behind there is extra credit activities for almost everything.

Professor Stone will teach you the right way to structure an essay. She will give you a lot of extra credit that will boost your grade if you need it. She talks a lot and she is an amazing professor! You will need to buy the books, and be prepare to read, if you want a good grade. There is a lot of homework and she will give you time to do it.

Mrs. Stone is such a sweetheart, for ENC 1101 I'm personally not really good with essays and she helped a lot with that. In her class, we do amazing activities and learning is so much fun!! Regarding knowledge or having a hard time understanding, she will definitely help you overcome your issues and become your best self!! 10/10 recommend

She is one of the few teachers that make the lesson fun and understandable for everyone in the classroom. The quizzes are easy (you can study from the Kahoots for the quiz) and the papers are a piece of cake if you take advantage of the drafts. I would 100% take this teacher again.

Professor Stone is an astonishing figure. I enjoyed taking ENC 1101 for Summer B. It's not difficult so long as you keep track of what you are doing for quizzes, essays, and lectures. Her tutoring sessions are helpful and you won't regret it. Don't hesitate to ask for help, she is super sweet and eager to help. Please take her. Mad respect for her!

I had Professor Stone for 1101 and now for 1102. 1102 is challenging, but not difficult as long as you pay attention and seek help to clarify any inquiries. She offers tutoring sessions for every essay and she's very helpful. Overall, she is witty, caring, clear, and a phenomenal professor. Please don't cheat. Strongly recommend her. Mad respect!

Super fun professor! She does give assignments but its nothing out of this world, It's super doable and she is understanding with everything and is willing to extend due dates.

I have never rated a professor before. But I felt Professor Stone deserved it. And to be honest I haven't even received my grade for this class yet LOL But she is amazing, super nice and wacky in a fun way. She is very encouraging and gives extra credit. Its just a few essays, like 3 with rough drafts. She deserves a 5.0. No proctored tests or quiz

Professor Stone is excellent and explains in detail what needs to be done. Two non-proctored quizzes, extra points are given for games played and debates. You will need to write 3 papers, two of which are based on the material that you read in class. She will guide you with everything. I would recommend her.

She is a super understanding professor, always down to help you make up assignments. Just do your work and participate in class debates, overall amazing person.

Professor Stone was nice, she is disorganized and wait till the very end to grade everything but her assignments are pretty straight forward and she even gives you a template for each essay the topics are easy no reading necessary, she goes over every essay with each student personally to revise it before final submission. No midterm and no final.

I can't say much about the future of this course since she changes the curriculum every two years to keep it interesting (understandable).She mentioned adding more debates—we were supposed to do one on Banal Evil vs. Obvious Evil, but didn't get to it.She's easy to talk to, but she will sometimes spend 30+ minutes yapping about herself. She is a caring Professor. She helps you a lot. I passed this class with hard work even though it was my second time taking it. Professor Stone wants all her students to pass. :)
