Easy to understand, helped me get through the course.

A very good teacher. Will explain things until they are understood. Tests are tough, but you will do ok if you will just do the homework. she wants you to pass. i hate math, but i loved her class.

Some people feel her class is too fast paced, but thats just because there is so much material to go over. Mrs.Kellman is very approachable and is always willing to give a helping hand. Her test are challenging,but if you study hard,like she wants,an A is attainable. Take her if you can.

Honestly, if you do the homework and pay attention in class, this class is not difficult. She encourages students to ask questions if they are unclear of something. Do the work and you will do well in her class.

Ms. Kelman was a very nice lady. It was nice to be in a classroom with a professor who was so passionate about what she taught. By no means is she easy! Her tests are very hard so you better study. This woman does not hand out A's in her courses if the person didn't earn them!

Tests are very hard, no review before hand, roughly 2 quizes between tests. If asked what you should study for the tests she WILL tell you that she wants you to know everything. Not a bad teacher though, she will work with you if you need help,

I luv this teacher, she is soo enthusiastic in teaching. And she is always willing to help you whenver u need it. Plus, her exams are not as bad as u think, b/c she gives u a review b4 test. i would greatly recommend her.

She does not give reviews, weighs the point values on tests poorly. She barely covers the material in class and then gives very in-depth tests. She has an online math lab that assigns homework, which then solves problems differently from how she explains the material.

Take it from me...she is the best math teacher I have had! (this is my 3rd time to take it!) She takes the time to explain everything so that you will understand. The homework is a breeze, too bad it doesn't count for more of the grade %. Halfway through, she began giving reviews which were VERY helpful! She knows her stuff! She is the BEST!!!

very easy teacher...teaches well...make sure u buy the cd ...don worry about the book...it's online if u buy the cd...with the cd...its impossible to make less than a 100...gives reviews and if u finish it 5 points extra on the test...if u show up at the library the day after...another 5 points......:-)

I am currently taking her course on line. And I think that she is a very good teacher. Recently I was stuck on a problem and emailed her she responded the same day. If you want a teacher who knows math she the one.

Professor Kelman is great! Shes very smart and knowledgeable about math(SMU grad). I struggle so much in math and shes the best math teacher iv ever had;first time I ever made an A in math. She is so nice and willing to help you until you get it. But shes an attendance freak. If your taking CI, I highly recommend taking her.

You basically have to go to class... However, she will work with you and is really understanding. She makes sure everyone understands the material and will help you if you dont... she is just all about following the rules.

I spend my days in LAC and Math Spot, but teacher is nice and knows her stuff, strict on attendence. Very knowledgable professor, but I should have taken her for lecture. Oh well, I'm done.

The class is all computer based, meaning you have your lectures on the computer and homework from a book. You can get behind really easily, so stay on top of the class. She is an amazing teacher though, and breaks things down really easy. Dont be afraid to ask her questions.

I took this professor for an online class, and she was amazing. She was extremely helpful and was always available. Her class was not easy by any means, but if you do what is required you will do fine.

She is hard!! If you plan to take college algebra and another class and you register Kelman. Do not! She is very challenging. Her expectation is very high. But if you have all A's in your class then you should try her. Again, she knows all her materials, she will not answer your questions if she think you should already know it.

The cmm class has all the work is done on the computer and you watch videos that don't help what so ever. She walks around and helps as needed she is a very good teacher and she talks real fast so you have to listen or you'll miss something. not a whole lot of work pretty easy class as long as you stay up to date on things

This is a very hard course. However it was online and she does answer her emails. Some of you said that she does not, that is a lie. She does. She is very helpful. I had to work very hard in this course. If you are planing on an easy course, do not take stats.

I took this class online && it was a bad idea for me! I'm not good at math in the first place && it's been a while since high school so of course this class wasn't that great for me! However the professor was very helpful she would reply pretty quickly to my e-mails.

The homework is very, very time consuming. I think she's pretty cool as a teacher and has a rich culture that she likes to talk about. But overall I would suggest an easier teacher, she could really care less who is passing and failing.

I took this class in the Maymester and it was very hard. The class was only 11 days. However, this professor answered all of my emails and had two virtual sessions with us. They were pretty cool! At the last session, this prof. gave us a review and told us the topics to study for the final. Thank you!

Took this class online and loved it. Everything is done on mymathlab. There are many homeworks and quizzes, but only two tests. You will spend a lot of time in this class.

Prof Kelman is a nice Professor! She replies to emails pretty quickly but she is very strict when it comes to late assignments. The online class is tough if your not really good in Mathematics and using other web resources will not help when it comes to the Final which is taken at school. There is also 2 Collaberate sessions which I found useless.

Great Professor, I took the class online over wintermester- elementary stats. I noticed a mistake she fixed my grade, always replied to my emails. Exam wasn't too difficult, I didn't get a chance to study and I had a virus when I sat down to take it, so I honestly became grateful with the C that I pulled on it. Still managed to pass with a B.

Good in-depth lectures. Every test demands that you know the material, no multiple choice. Showing work is a requirement for both tests and quizzes. Fair grading, if not generous. Lots of easy but time consuming homework. Failing is impossible so long as you put some effort into it. I would recommend taking her course. Good professor, good class.

I took MATH1314 online. The work was all done in mymathlab which was fine because its basically the teacher. There was a lot of work and its time consuming but its pretty easy. It is a self paced class so that was nice to be able to work ahead. She does require attendance in 2 blackboard sessions which suck but are helpful if you have questions

Prof. Kelman's class is a combo of videos on my math lab, and her in class lectures. I quickly realized that the online videos didn't help me, and she doesn't do lecture's for every class, she'll answer questions though. You must receive an 80 to move onto the next assignment on MML. She's great, the class layout just wasn't for right for me.

Doctor Kelman gives great tips and helps you learn how to solve problems on the calculator which is really handy. She won't hesitate to answer any question.

I absolutely hate math, but I loved Professor Kelman. She is the best professor ever. She is willing to work with you and truly cares about her students. Her lectures are amazing and her tests are not hard. Definitely recommend her to anyone.

(easy) attend the web meet, easy class,Fell behind 3 months got a 65

Reviews prepare you well for the tests. Midterm and Final have a heavy weight so make sure youre well studied for them. Other than that the assignments are only to prepare you for those tests.

I was hesitant to take her class. But I am glad I did. She is great. I attended her lectures. She does have a lot of homework. But it did prepare me for tests. She has a review for every test. She does follow the syllabus and very strict on rules in the syllabus. But, I think because the course is 8 weeks.

I was initially intimidated from the reviews, mostly because I struggled with math for many years. Dr. Kelman is phenomenally honest, kind, and patient when it comes to any questions you may have and solutions at any moment you may feel behind curriculum pacing. Make notes ahead of class lectures so you may better grasp the lecture.

I took this class during "mini-mester." Dr. Kelman is very patient and willing to help those struggling behind. She's very passionate about math and couldn't have had a better professor aid me in conquering my doubts in this field of study. Make sure you're slightly ahead on the lecture with material and you won't struggle at all.
