Carlsen really knows his stuff when it comes to theater. He made the class fun even though the subject matter is a little dry. no final, just 3 exams mostly based on lectures. He maybe gets a couple questions from the book. 2 papers based on the plays we had to see, which the TA grades. Gives lots of As on the papers. Cake-walk, minimal effort.

Healthcare Theatre was an amazing experience with Professor Carlsen this semester. Our class learned how to act out certain medical situations to the nurses and give good feedback about their interactions with us, the acting patient. As an aspiring healthcare professional myself, I highly recommend the course. Professor Carlsen hosts a great course

This was supposed to be an easy A and it is not too bad but definitely not what I expected. Carlsen is funny if you share the same humor but usually he calls out people for being late, fixing their hair or even drinking water in class. He is kind of rude but I think it might just be his humor. He is however, passionate about theatre definitely.

I thought this would be an easy breadth but it was not. The mandatory play was interesting, but then I got an 80% on the quiz which brought my grade down so much. This brought my gpa down so much. You have to do so well on both the exams and the paper to have a good grade in this class.

Would take again

Literally easiest class ever. Anyone saying the exams are hard are just lazy. You don't even have to watch the lectures, just copy the slides and all of the exam questions are from that content. So easy and def recommend.
