He is a VERY VERY easy professor. the only big thing u had to do the whole semester was write a 20 page group (5/6 ppl) term paper. not bad at all. he's a very lenient grader on it. he reviews for tests and if u study what he tells u to, u'll do great

He is really good.

He tells fun stories in class. Only teaches what you really need for the test and gives reviews. Class always ends early so we can have time for group work in class. Gives great advice.

Hes a great professor, brings alot of real world situations into the class, very big on ethics. Midterm and final are easy if you come to his review which tells you what to study for and not to study for. Min of 20 page project very interesting class.

Very easy professor. He explains everything that is on the midterm and final; telling you were to read in the book to claify things for the exams. He also is willing to show examples of previous projects to help you better understand how the project is to be done and what is expected.

Very easy class. He tells you exactly what is going to be in the test. However, you do have to study for this class if you want an A. He is a very fair grader, so don't try to beg for a higher grade: it is not going to happen. Put a lot of effort into writing the group project. It is very important.

He's a very nice professor. There are times that he barely teaches but the good thing about it is that he gives/tells you what exactly is going to be in the test. Two misdterms and a group project are the requirements for this class. Just read and study the book and you'll be fine and even do well.

Take him, and listen carefully when he tells you about the test. If you have any problem, go and talk to him, he listen to students and this my friends, is very important in choosing a professor. Beside that he has great stories and the book is easy and fun to read.

Really nice guy and very approachable. He is there to help students, not hurt them. Very knowledgeable, and you will learn a lot from him and his stories. Have to do a a pretty big group project, but he gives plenty of time and you can send him drafts to check. Highly recommended.

Very nice guy! Easy midterm and final (tells you exactly what to study before the tests). There is one large group paper which is not that bad but it is a min. of 20 pages. Still he gives a lot of time and lets you know exactly what he wants. Also some of his stories can be a bit interesting.

Professor Schor is an excellent guy, and very easy professor. Two tests: midterm+final. Two quizes. One group project (very easy). Easy "A"...

He is cool, but you will get a lot of work. The group project is huge, and both of his exams are tricky (50 m/ch questions and 25 feelings each). He does not really give lectures, so you will have to read and memorize the book. Overall, he is a good and helpful teacher.

You have study hard to get an A.. 50 multiple c. questions and 25 fill in the blanks.. which is too much to make mistakes and and reason for not getting an A. otherwise he is FAIR..you can pass the class with B..but u have to memorize 100s of definitions that r going to be in the exams..BUT MUCH BETTER THAN PROG. HUGES..

I think he's easy although many people say he's not. It's true that we have to memorize a lot of definitions for the exam, but that's all we had to do. He even tells you what to memorize in advance. So there's no reason why you shouldn't do well unless you don't study.

Very easy class. He tells you exactly what you need to know for the exams, page by page in the textbook. He literally sits there and reads you every piece of info you need to know. You're pretty much guaranteed at least a B, but if you bother to read the book, you'll get an A or A- for sure.

wonderful teacher, tells you exam material page by page and stresses most mentioned things on the exam. the exam is 50 MC and 25 fill-in's they really aren't that hard if your just review the information he tells u to. The group project is rather simple,key thing is follow wat he wants in it and how he wants it. joy taking him. Recommended!

I loved this Prof, very clear. If you do a grp project, you get 40% of your final grade easily, and the project is soo easy. Midterm & final is very easy, he pretty much underlines the important in the review class and tell you what he expects. Easy A class

Two tests, one midterm on final and a project which is worth 40% of your grade. Put effort in the project, come to class before the exam because he tells you exactly what's on the test- page number and everything. Study what he tells you and you'll get an A.

Professor gives real industry examples of scenarios that could very likely happen to any business student. Clear, approachable, down to earth. Requires straight forward material- Project, Midterm and Final. Material could be technical but not difficult. He gives great reviews for both test!, you just have to show up for the review. He's GREAT! His review for the final is amazing, he tells you exactly what to study, by page numbers and paragraphs!!! And the project is also easy, not about programing or anything, just in general business... Also you should put some effort into the power point for the project, he give extra points towards the final for it!

Easy grader, the group project is a bit tough since you have to work with 6-7 other people. The review is a MUST if you want a good grade. I would recommed taking him if you don't mind a group presentation.

He is the prof that you definitely want to take, if you don't mind about the group project. Mid-term is a little tricky, but the final is relatively easier than mid-term. just study his review, and you will be ok.

Really easy teacher. He tells you specific subjects/pages to focus on for midterm and final. I just studied powerpoints using his review list and got an A in the class. Project is 40% and most people get the full 40%. Midterm and final are 30% each. You can get a 50 on both and still get a C. You have to do terrible in order to bad in this class.

AWESOME teacher! Easy grader, very fair. Tells you EXACTLY what you need to study. 2 HW assignments, 50 question Multiple Choice midterm, group project and thats it! Very good professor. He usually let students out 15-20 mins early, u dont need to take notes nor really pay attention in class. He give u the exact pages to study for midterm and final. One group project a week or so before final, 30 mins, but ull have 7 or 8 ppl in your group, and its jus ez.. Recommended!

One of the better Professors I had at Baruch so far. he is fair and helpful. there are 2 tests midterm and final, but he tells you exactly what to study and there is a group project, which was easy and fun. I definitely recommend this Prof.

Well, he is a good professor, but midterm and final exams are very hard. Very tricky questions....even though he gives pages to study for exams, the mean for the class was 80.

I think he is a really lenient when it comes to grading. Theres a midterm, final and a group project. You will have to read the textbook no matter what and also he will tell you the pages you need and what you don't need to know on the exams.

Professor cares about his students, this is the most important thing! 2 exams(30% each) if you read the book it's not a problem. 30% group project, professor helps you with any questions. 5% online hmw+5% sona research(you can do it online, it takes 15 min.) Easy class!

Great prof and easy class. 2 MC tests. Easy if you study. Easy grader as well. Huge group project though so if you hate working in groups, you'll have a tough time. Also, he doesn't teach Excel at all so if you're good at Excel already or don't care about learning it at this point, he's great. Also, how in the world did he get a chili pepper?! lol

Professor gives a good class,but yes it's boring and nobody pays attention. People believe that everything should be easy. The professor is very easy going, and he will help you if you need help. You need to do some work though, you have to read the chapters before the exam. You cannot just go through a class and do nothing. 2 exams & 1 project.

Easy midterm and final. Final project is pretty long and has a lot of people so you just need to make sure everyone does their part. He grades it pretty easy though. I took him in the summer and he gave us 10 extra credit points for the project for something i can't remember so I'd say every group got over a 90 on the project

He is one of the best professor in Baruch in terms of giving good grades. Easy going. You dont have to go to class everyday, once a week is enough. Gives u the outline before the exam. Read the book you will get an A. I got B+ cz i screwed up my first mid. Presentation 40% which u will get 100 for sure. 30-30 xam so get 26-27 ur good

Prof. Schor made a boring CIS class fun. He's extremely nice, intelligent and helpful. Definitely recommend him for any class you can take from him!!

Prof. Schor is a nice guy through and through. really wants students to learn the material. Easy class because the material is basically a history class about the internet and ecommerce. He gives a review with page info. Read the the pages he tells you to twice over the weekend before the midter,/final and you'll score 90+. Easy project.

Very sweet professor one of the best! His lectures were long and really all you have to do is read the textbook does everything to try to boost your grade! Really recommend him to anyone not computer savvy. Unlike other CIS classes there's no excel just a pretty simple group project! Wish I could take him again!

You have everything to succeed in class,because the professor helps to do well. However, the midterm was really tough. Depend on an overall score in class he will decide to curve or not grades( usually curved). Group presentation is 30%, which is good since he gives really high grade for it. I would defiantly take him again.

Easy going professor. You're not going to learn much to be honest, this was more of a marketing class than a CIS class. If you want an easy A to B, take him. Exams are based purely on the textbook, question are kinda tough if you don't remember every detail, but he gives a generous curve.

Best and easiest professor ever. His grading is so easy. Give a quiz for 10% where u can check ur answer before submitting. Also tells u exacly whats on the midterm and final. Take him, you learn and get an A. There is a 30 mins long presentation but its a fun presentation. You create ur own product and sell it.

Best CIS Professor you could ask for, really. A couple of online quizzes + 1 midterm + 1 final + 1 very important group project - homework + extra credit a very easy class to pass. Professor Schor is laid-back and funny and is available to help after class. He also gives comprehensive reviews for midterms and tests.

Great professor, if you are not a native speaker, he will explain words to you during exams. 1 EASY excel project, 2 midterm exams(make sure take notes on review day, he will go over important slices), and 1 final exam( make sure study the given back exam 1 and 2, will be very helpful). If did not do well on first 2 exams, he gave out curves.
