Mr. Hazard is very into the subject adn practices what he preatches. His lessons are clear and you don't really need his book for the class. I totally recomend taking his class.

Very knowledgable, helpful, powerpoint is often times funny, he stays up to date in his materials and tests are ok if you study. Gives extra credit for learning about yourself, cute too!

On-line class very organized and easy to follow. Powerpoint presehtations were informative and humorous. Was available at all times for clarification or questions.

Mr. Hazard is knowledgable in the cardiac rehab area. He is good for the class he is teaching, but sometimes is a little behind in specific areas such as nutrition, or exercise concepts. He is great for general knowledge, but if you're looking for more specific, take that class.

Tests are relly easy! He highltights everything you need to know on a power point before the test. I didnt even need the book. Hands out lots of extra credit. VERY little homework.

Mr. Hazard is a great professor! He gives about five exams and drops the lowest. You have one final, one research paper which is one page per week of class totalling about 16 pages. Make sure to do a page per week or you'll regret having to do about 10 pages from the previos 10 weeks in one day. Easy extra credit, I got an A.

This is the easiest class i have ever taken. He makes the class really fun and easy. Just take good notes the test questions come from the presentation He gives you study gides for the tests. You don't need to buy the book at all. There is only one written assigment for the semester and is about you really easy A.

(and some of the answers too) The lectures go over all of the exam questions. START YOUR BEHAVIORAL MODIFICATION PROJECT FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE SEMESTER!!! He also drops the lowest test score. Very nice, encouraging professor. I took his online class, it was a breeze. He gives you powerpoints that goes over just about everything on his tests, then you post each week on the discussion board (easy), the 18 page project is just a weekly journal that is very simple, and not time consuming if you do it each week (req'd online). Nice teacher!

This class was easy but you have to keep up and do all assignments. He does give extra credit which is a big plus and can help if you if you do poor on tests. I got an A in his online class and I am sure most of the class got high grades if they did most of the assignments. Definitely take him you can pass and learn something!!

Mr. Hazard's class is fun and interesting. He shares his experiences working in health care , making the class not boring at all. He's always updated concerning health. Although he gives lots of essays, it doesn't require research, its like writing a diary! He gives study guides, test are really easy, just study!

Mr. Hazard is a fun teacher. he tries to make it interesting and is always will to help you understand the material. He ALWAYS talks about his GHETTO past, which living in National City isn't all that bad as he makes it. Overall hes still a great teacher with easy tests and easy homework. Lots of work, but still very easy.

Rambles on too much about his personal opinions & beliefs. You get extra credit for having perfect or near perfect attendance. Not very politically correct. Boring and too easy.

I'm currently taking his class online . He answers e-mails in the same day. For exam, all you have to know is everything on his study guides. When grading papers, he is not really picky.He give a lot of extra credit.

I took the on-line class. Homework is very time consuming but easy if you stay on top of it. HW is due every sunday at midnight so he gives you plenty of time to complete it. He gives study guides for test which makes test easy. Overall he is a great teacher and pretty easy class.

Best Health instructor Southwestern college could have choose. Gives the easiest homework along with the answers. Study guide for every test. Makes the class fun with his easy going personality and tons of extra credit! If you need Health 101 don't take anyone but Mr. Hazard he's the best!!

Loved this professor, he seems like he is so hard through his syllabus, but he is an absolute sweetheart. Very fair grader, he says no makeup work but if you're a good student with him and you happen to miss something like once, he will work with you. Very enthusiastic about health, does not take health and nutrition for granted. A+++

Had the chance to take the principles of health for Fall 2014. Very funny and humorous, prepare to laugh throughout every class meeting. Makes the course go by in a breeze. He uses slides a lot so if your good at taking notes and studying you will A's the class. His test questions are easy and not tricky. Very general questions. VERY FUNNY GUY

Omg! Great guy! Very funny. He also went to Sweet water high school in national city. Very athletic and one of the professors I'll always remember at southwestern. He gives great examples and his stories are just amazing to listen too. He's a professor I would take again. But one thing! Make sure to study for his exams! Pretty bearable but still.

EASY A. Took his online HLTH 204 Nutrition class and it is cake. Discussion boards, easy 5 question quizzes (that you can google), & one assignment due every week. Don't buy the textbook, just buy the online code for your hw access, it comes with an online textbook. Super easy A as long as you do everything and don't get lazy.

I like this class so much, it was fun to take, you learn a lot, this professor is fun, most of the time we just watch videos and write about it and those are points that help to the grade as well, book is required but you can buy it on amazon for cheap.
