really good class. lectures were informative while still being enjoyable. homework was few & far between, but still good review before tests. very easy to reach if needed and was helpful and kind. teaching style was very easy to follow and understand, and any questions were further explained when asked. favorite class of the semester by far

Very informative professor and class oriented. Really personable but to get a good grade in the class you need to show up every time for attendance because it makes up for 20% of your grade and the homework is 40%. So it's an easy 60% of your grade just for doing your work and the tests are right from the slides.

Mrs Carr was a wonderful professor and she made sure youd succeed in her class! A discussion board, 2 quizzes, & 1 assignment are due every week but theyre not hard and you actually learn a lot. Its an easy A if you read the material and do your work!

I took over the summer, so we had two quizzes a week (10 questions each), one discussion, and one assignment. Class was not challenging. No need to purchase a textbook as she provides you with an online free textbook, youtube videos, and powerpoints based on the weekly chapters. The class was easy and I learned a lot. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

This professor was really kind and available to talk. She was nice in her relatability and her discussion board posts were a lot of fun. The course itself in its readings were not all that difficult, but the quizzes were a challenge. For an online class she presents ways to encourage interaction and involvement. It was a pretty fun class.

Overall the class was easy, and the assignments and discussions were very fun/interesting to do. She was very understanding, and I loved her teaching style because it was not stressful, which encouraged me to do very well. There were no tests, and there was no final, plus your lowest grade was dropped from each assignment, discussion, and quiz.

I took Allison for PSY2012 online. She was an amazing professor that gave great feedback and was a pleasure to have as a teacher. The class was very straight forward and she did her best to make sure everyone understood the material and was on the same page. I learned a lot in this class and it was fairly easy. I got an A. 10/10 would recommend!

I took her online class this summer and it was very easy and straightforward. There are usually two chapters a week to read and take quizzes on, one assignment (usually doesn't take more than about twenty minutes), and one discussion (which does not take very long either). Allison Carr is an AMAZING professor. She makes me want to take the class all over again but I already passed with a 96. Each class consists of powerpoints that explain exactly what will be on the exam. Tests were multiple choice and easy if you show up and pay attention in class. Very inclusive and entertaining class. No final. Believe me, take!!

The class I took was online during Summer B semester, she provided the textbook in an online PDF so book purchase/rental wasn't needed. There was a lot of reading but as long as you read the chapter you could easily pass all the assignments/discussions/quizzes. No final. She was very nice and provided lots of helpful information.

Nothing bad to say about her! Shes great. Attendance makes up 20% of your grade, but its not hard to sit through her class because her lectures are interesting, and shes pretty funny. Very sweet and helpful and always answers questions understandably and never makes you feel stupid for asking anything. Her study guides are perfect.

Weekly assignments really help cement the information and theyre mostly graded by if you really tried to complete it correctly.

she gives one assignment per week to do. its usually opinion bases so no answer is the wrong answer. she gives points for showing up. we take 5 tests in the class all 40 questions or less. she gives you study guides if you do them you'll get an A on the test. there isn't a final. also she drops 3 lowest grades ; 1 hw, 1test, 1attendance. TAKE HER!

She is the nicest teacher ever & relatable because she's young. Her powerpoints do not have a ton to write down & the test reviews make the tests straight forward. The only negative is that there is not a lot of opportunities to talk to your peers & do group work during class. There's one mostly subjective homework every week & she grades easy.

GREAT class! Watch the videos, do the discussions and homework and pass your test which is 15 minutes long, so you have to study and be sharp. overall super easy class and you really can't fail unless you just don't do your work. she responses quickly and her lecture videos are pretty much on point to your weekly quiz.

In this online class, there is literally no exams or final exams. Every Monday, she gives you the work for the whole week and majority is due Sunday. She make slideshow lectures with her doing a voice over and every chapter we have a quiz, and its recommended that you take notes thats on the sideshow because if you do, youll get a 100%, its easy

You need to read the chapters to pass the quizzes but the textbook is free and it's not difficult. You have a discussion due every week but the topics are interesting and not super hard. Also have an assignment due every week but she is clear on what she expects and grades pretty fairly.

I took her online and her class is so easy. No final and you can use notes on quizzes. As long as you do all the work, there's no reason you shouldn't get an A. The class is fun and the discussions are very interesting!

Be sure to watch the required videos, and read the powerpoints. If you do that then the quizzes will be a breeze.

Took her as an online class. The best format I've seen for an online class, not too much material and classwork but enough to thoroughly teach you the material. Well organized, with either a discussion and a quiz due or an assignment and a quiz due. She definitely wants you to pass and doesnt make it unnecessarily hard. Also, a great textbook.

Easy A plain and simple. There are no tests and no final. Your grade is based off of your quizzes and assignments. She wants you to complete discussion posts on Thursdays and respond by Sunday, my biggest piece of advice would be to not slack on replying to the discussions on Thursday. This will bring your grade down. Other than that, so easy.

If you need to take PSY2012, take it with her. She was not only super kind and organized, but created a really thought provoking experience for an online class. I learned a lot, and the work load was really do-able. She really cares about teaching and her students and is super down to earth. Would recommend 100%. One of best SF teachers I've had.

EASY A!! She is very sweet and helpful. All you do each week is read some pages from an online book and then either have a discussion or assignment or both, then a 15 min quiz, open book, and only 15 questions. Not much work to put in just make sure to answer all her assignment questions.

Extremely chill. Your final grade depends on weekly assignments, 4 non cumulative tests, and attendance. She drops your worst test and she will excuse absences if you give her prior warning. Weekly assignments are very easy. She has optional chapter quizzes on canvas to prepare for each test, so as long as you do well on those you should test well.

Allison made my first semester of college as comfortable as can be. She grades attendance, but she's super understanding and communicative, just let her know what's up! Professor Carr made this class engaging and easy to follow. Weekly assignments with no final exam. Learned a lot using materials like videos and worksheets. Unstuck ai was a helpful study tool too.

Her way of teaching made the class feel like I just had to watch Bill Nye two days out of the week. It was awesome to have a class that wasn't an overbearing burden. She's funny, passionate about teaching, and super sweet. If you need extra help, you just have to talk to her and she will be there for you!! :)

Amazing professor and more importantly a great teacher. During lectures she made the content very easy to understand. 1 assignment per week and 4 exams. She also gives practice test questions prior to the exam so make sure to use those because the test questions are very similar. Easy A if you take notes and study for the exams.

Great professor that I am taking another one of her classes in the fall because she makes the class entertaining and is a very understanding professor. Honestly, there are so many great things that I could say but I would be forever. But for real take this class I recommend it .

prof. carrs class was straightforward, weekly apply what you know assignments, and four non-cumulative exams. prof carr was really sweet and very helpful when I got overwhelmed halfway through the semester.

Allison Carr is an amazing professor; I took her online Gen Psych course. It was extremely well organized and she communicated everything clearly. You have to keep up with the course if you want a good grade, but none of the material was too difficult. I was taking 3 other classes while working and I was never stressed about. Definitely recommend,

I loved this class so much. The teacher was easy to follow along with and her lectures were fun. There was only homework once a week and as long as you did the homework and payed attention to the lectures you will get an easy A. She was also very good about answering any questions you may have.

It is very clear she loves teaching and is passionate about the topic which always make the class go smoothly. Test are difficult if you don't study, mostly a lot of memorization. One homework assignment a week thats pretty simple. No final. Very interactive with her lectures which was great and entertaining. Overall great teacher!

Take this class. Easiest I have ever taken in my life all you have to do is submit on time because she does not late work. Not a lot of work and super simple to do.

Alison is great! Very easy psych class just take notes and study. 4 tests and she drops the lowest. One weekly HW assignment (easy but sometimes time-consuming) I didn't go to every class and just studied on my own using the study guide and still passed. Def recommend taking, the content was very interesting. Also the final is NOT cumulative yay

Truly the best professor ever! The class is super easy, exams are 40% of your grade, and the same with homework and quizzes are 20%. Class is entertaining, and she truly seems like she cares for you. also exams are SO EASY. This doesn't mean don't study but if you give two hours to studying you will 100% get an A.

Prof. Carr was a great! Really enjoyed coming to class. She had a unique way of getting often obscure topics to make sense. Provided practice tests to help review before exams. Can't wait to take her for my next Psychology class!

Actually the sweetest person ever and truly cares about you passing her class, understanding, and learning. No final exam. Lowest test grade dropped. Lectures are not boring and really helpful. Posts all slideshows. Attendance is graded to help your grade.
