Allison was one of the greatest profs I ever had. He is very thoughtful and is willing to listen to anybody that has a say in anything. He is a VERY amusing person to talk and listen to and makes you feel extremely wanted in the class, in a good and heartwarming way. The course readings might be tough but it all makes sense in the end.

Dube is a genuinely nice person, so the class was very enjoyable. He is extremely helpful and makes everyone feel important and smart. I wish he was my teacher for every class I would be A++++++ for sure.

Dube is by far the most amazing teachers I've ever experienced as well as one of the most inspiring people I have met. His lectures may be on the most boring topics but he makes it interesting. Expect him to be extremely helpful, understanding and knowledgeable. If I could take all his classes, A MUST HAVE PROF.

Professor Dube has to be the best prof I have ever had. I'm in one of his Gned courses, and often I find I don't want to be in gned classes because the prof doesn't want to be there either. I found this class really tough, Allison chose books for this course that were hard for me to interpret and understand. If you hate reading like i do, don't take this GNED class. He is an amazing proff. He is very open-minded and gives extra time and extra help in order for his students to succeed. He truly cares for his students. You know how sometimes you read reviews about profs being awesome, but in person they aren't? Well Allison is not of them! He is as good if not better than the tales you hear of him.

Dr. Dube is the kind of teacher you see in the movies; the type of teacher who can give you a new perspective and change you. Awesome prof, got a D on my first assignment and went I went to go see him he spent TWO HOURS going through everything with me and helping me rewrite it so I could get an A. Also a funny guy so he keeps it interesting. He does not mark easy but he gives you the resources to get a good grade.

He is honestly an amazing human and I learned more about life from him then about the stuff in the course. The books are fine and its nice you don't actually have to read every single one, but the assignment take time and effort. He definitely rewards you if he sees you tried and he always helps you get better marks if you see him.

It's my first year of university and I seriously think I've peaked with the best professor in Mount Royal's staff. Dube is a gentle man who really seems to be able to always articulate the perfect words or feelings. Assignments are a bit tricky, but if you involve yourself enough, it's nothing that isn't doable.

i had Dube 2 years ago for my gned in my first year. ive now been to 2 other universities since and have yet to find a professor i loved more than him. he is so awesome and if you put in effor he WILL reward you with a grade you deserve. I read the reviews on here at the Start of the semester, they were Right. He is so nice and welcoming. He takes the time to learn your name and really takes your work to heart. I felt at home In this class. I felt he marks generously if you put in the effort. I loved that class and put love into my assignments. very useful material for future.

If you are not a philosophy student the work can be tricky, but if you put in the effort and make a time to go over essays with him it is 100% possible to get an A. Lectures feel very long because the material is boring but Dr. Dube is a good lecturer. You should go to class to take down the page numbers because the final is open book. He grades a little hard but if you put in the effort, you can get an A+. He gives second chances and I was able to resubmit my paper from a C+ to an A+. Content matters.

Took this class when I was in UEO and didn't care how I did. If you miss half his classes you automatically fail and I skipped so much I thought I failed and stopped showing up. He emailed me letting me know if I miss one more I'd fail and let me hand in all my missed late assignments and I still passed with a B+. Very caring & outstanding prof!

One of the best professors I've ever had. Keep up with the reading and start the assignments early enough so you can really think about them. But his assignments are very lenient and he encourages you to be as informal and creative as possible. He's not a STRICT by the book grader, though dont be shallow with your ideas. Allison my GOAT, best prof at MRU by far!! Please try to take a class with him, you will have a great time in his class. Extremely inspirational, and truly cares about his student!! Also tells you what is gonna be o nthe final too!!

Dr Dube is an amazing prof and a very kind person. He is so thoughtful and is very accessible outside of class and actually reached out to me when I got an unusually low grade to offer a re-write. He learns everyone's name which is so impressive and you can tell he cares about his students. Attendance is needed because he doesn't post notes though

I dont think I have ever come across a professor so kind and brilliant. He is literally one of the best. Take this class if you need to boost your gpa. Beware though that you have to write and read a lot. He is there to help and accommodate you every step of the way.

Allison is easily the best professor I have had at Mount Royal. He makes lectures enjoyable and is just overall great. 100% recommend him for any class!

Allison is hands down the best professor. He cares deeply about his students and is kind and generous with his markings. You need to show up to class for marks as well as three essays and a final which he allows a cheat sheet. If you have the opportunity to take him please do, you wont regret it!

Allison is one of the kindest profs I've had! He makes his lectures interesting and genuinely wants students to succeed. Only 3 papers and a final which he prepared us well for, and was very accommodating with extensions and re-submissions. Would recommend taking a class with him!

I wasn't a good writer before, but Dr. Dube has truly inspired me. His lectures are really great and he gives good feedback on how to improve your writing. Easy A to get in his class.

He is an amazing professor. Please take him if you can. There are three essays in which he allows late submissions without any penalties, you just need to talk to him and he is very understanding. He will also let you redo an essay if you get a bad mark. I am so happy I took his class.

An amazing professor and cannot explain into many words how caring, understanding and kind he is. He is a nice old man that wants each student to succeed in his class and in life. He is very inspirational and everyone should take his class, he's really understanding so it is an easy A. He WANTS to give out A's!!

Prof. Dube is a fantastic instructor who makes lectures engaging and genuinely wants students to succeed. The class is manageable with a few essays, and Dube is very accommodating with extensions and re-submissions. unstuck AI is a great study tool to supplement the course material.

Allison really cares about his students and if you make appointments to see him he works with you to ensure that you can get the best grade.

Allison Dube is consistently one of my favorite people in MRU. I remember having him in the start of my degree, he isn't a handout, but he recognizes when someone wants to do better, and he does everything to help, his demeanor is masterful and tactfully like someone that should be leading a country, very calm, poised, and intriguing, spoken softly

Allison is an amazing prof. Be prepared to read quite a lot but everything is explained in detail and he is always available to help. Over all a great prof and very easy assignments.

I took this class because I heard that this was a gpa booster, and it was a gpa booster. Throughout this semester I found myself engaging in his activities and although it was mostly heavy reading, I found it fun and interesting. He tries to make it fun and not boring unlike other professors. He is a kind prof who wants his students to succeed!

TAKE THE CLASS WITH HIM. He's such a sweet person and he genuinely cares for all his students. I'd say one of the best professors at the university. I once handed in my re-write a month after the due date and he accepted it with no late penalties. 1000000000000/10 would take again!!!!

THE BEST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! He is the kindest soul with the biggest heart. He truly loves what he does, and that made classes so enjoyable. There are so many opportunities to increase your grade in the class, and he is willing to support you to reach your goals. Wish I could give him a 100/5 rating!

Every professor at MRU should have to take a “how to treat people like paying students, not elementary kids by Alison Dubé class”. No ego, very humble, very interesting, very kind. SO REFRESHING to learn from someone who treats you like a human being!!

Sweetest and most lenient professor ever. While I didn't necessarily enjoy the subject, you can tell he is super passionate about what he teaches. He gives good feedback and lets you re-do assignments. Hes such a genuine person and you can tell he cares about his students. Would always recommend a class with him!!
