Since public speaking is a requirement, she is the best teacher to have. She is so done to earth, and makes the class interesting. She works with you and helps you along the way. Take her for public speaking!!
Allison is a wonderful teacher! She is quite the comedian also! She always makes class interesting- I always want to listen to what she says. Although public speaking is not something I enjoy, she really helps you and it's a breeze, as long as you come prepared. Could not ask for a better teacher. Highly recommended. She is amazing!!! A++++++
Allison is a great public speaking professor. She is passionate about public speaking and challenges her students to think outside the box with motivation and personal experiance. I learned so much from her and enjoyed the class. I would encourage anyone who needs this class to take allison you will not be dissapointed :)
she is probably by far my favorite teacher of my whole college career. we learned through her teaching us to teach ourselves. she helps ppl get over their fears of public speaking, she related to us and really connected. i highly highly highly recommend her.
She was awesome! She gave us so many useful tools. She created a safe, supportive place to do our speeches. She made an intimidating class, one of the best classes I've ever taken! I wish I could keep taking the class so I will never lose the skills. Do the assignments and you'll do fine. Lot's of chances for extra credit.
Smiling all the time and really cares about how we do.
she is really nice and fun! shes a pretty easy grader and she makes public speaking not so nerve wrecking!
I absolutely love her. She taught me so much stuff to be able to speak in public. You will learn SO much and it really is simple when she explains it. She'll always help you for all the speeches so you have NO excuse not to do them. And her mid-term is open-book.
Cant go wrong here...ratings speak for themselves
excellent public speaking teacher... learned alot in this class... she is very down to earth and fun... brings alot of excitement to the class.. would highly encourage someone taking her class
very good teacher. very helpful. makes class fun. explains everything. makes public speaking more fun and less scary. highly recommended !
Fun and energetic. Glad I took the course.
Instructor was very energetic and animated. I enjoyed this part of the class, her antics made this class extremely enjoyable.
Allison is an awesome professor. She makes class fun and makes you actually want to be in class. She's so helpful on any problems or questions you may have about a speech and gives out a Wawa gift card if your informative speech prep outline is perfect. =) she's great!
Professor Green is pretty good, but she has mood swings. You can get away with being unprepared for the speeches half the time. Overall an okay class.
She was awesome! Tells you exactly what you need to know to get an A in her class, helps you as much as she can.
Allison is the best teacher ever. She makes public speaking easy and fun. I love her!
She says one thing but does the total opposite. Thinks because she is an actress everybody that walks through the door should be completely on the same level as her. I think she forgets she is supposed to teach us and not put us down.
Had her for public speaking.Hated me for no reason the second I walked in the door. Convinced me not to withdraw and failed me on everything. I happen to be naturally good at speaking in front of people and when I retook it got an A.Most people do well in her class though however I've heard other stories like mine..if she doesn't like you stay away
THERE ARE NO BROWNIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =( But Allison rocks as a Public Speaking teacher!
great prof! very nice, very clear. had her for a summer class 09 and everyone loved her! great at what she does, admire her a lot
Prof. Green is the best Prof. ever! She is very knowledgable and wants her students to learn. She goes above and beyond for those who put forth an effort! I took a 5 week course it was a lot of work but still managed to get an A. I would recomend her Public Speaking Class to anyone who will need to speaking in any public setting.
As stated below, if she likes you, you will do great, if she does not like you, watch it. Actually she was well spoken and I liked her, but she hated every single thing that I did. How you do in her class in completely up to her. It's all her opinion of you that decides your grade. I took the course over did the same exact speeches and got an A.
Prof. Green is the best professor I've had thus far at CCC. She is so knowledgeable (about seemingly everything!) and really wants to see her students do well. I recommend her to anyone and everyone who wants to learn and become a better public speaker.
Not a nice professor at all. If she likes you, than you'll pass. She can't stand me (I have no idea why), so I am pretty sure I am going to fail. She has not helped me with anything I've asked for and she needs to remember this is a 101 class; students are supposed to mess up not be perfect. I would not take her.
Awesome professor. Breaks down every speech into a very simple format. Tons of extra credit opportunities, impossible to get less than a C. Very helpful and works with you 100% for your first speech. Made Public Speaking much less terrifying than it sounds!
One of the best professors at CCC! She is awesome! Professor Green makes one of the scariest subjects in the world as easy as pie. For doing the first assignment, students recieve an automatic 100. Need help on a speech? She will help during her office hours. She knows almost everything! Work hard! and you will recieve an A like me!
Allison Green is the best teacher at CCC!!!! Im sad I signed up for a five week class instead of a fifteen but she is so helpful. She grades very fair and knows how hard it is for students to speak in front of others, all of her assignments she makes very clear!!!! this class has changed me and it'll change you to if you have to take this class look for a green she's AMAZING!!!!
Literally the best professor I've ever had.She knows her stuff and she's extremely helpful. You can see the difference between your first speech and your last thanks to her. There is no reason why you shouldn't get an A in this class
Fantastic professor, really made you confident in your work, very helpful and nice. Her teaching style and course schedule were perfect.
Pro Green is the best! Take her class! it's an easy A and she is sooo helpful with anything you need! she really cares about her students. she will help you with ANYTHING just ask and perticipate in class! shes the best!!
TAKE ALLISON. SHE IS THE BEST. SHE TELLS YOU STEP BY STEP EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED TO DO. I TOOK THIS OVER THE WINTER IN A JAM PACKED 2 WEEKS AND I COULD NOT HAVE MADE A BETTER DECISION.
She makes it VERY well known that she is more than capable of teaching public speaking. At first, you may feel overwhelmed by the work, but she will stick to her word by walking everyone through each and every step of the process. Just stick to her instruction and you'll do great. Highly recommended.
Prof. Green is the best. She's an extremely eloquent speaker and knows her stuff. She will help you every step of the way. Received a perfect score on all of my speeches. She cares about her students but if you're an air head, she wont even bother with you. Work hard, rehearse and you'll get an A
Professor Green is the nicest professor at CCC. Very helpful and will answer any questions you have and will work with you if your having any problems. Just listen to what she says and you'll get an A in the class.
AN AMAZING TEACHER! Professor Green is very smart and loves to teach. I took her class in as a 2 week semester. You spend a majority of the class reading chapters out of the text and preparing your speeches. Do yourself a favor, buy the book and read chapts 1-5 before the semester! This will ensure that you are ahead of the game. She recommends it!
Allison is honestly the most amazing woman I've ever met. If you have to take public speaking, take her class (even if you don't need it I'd take it) Her classes are fun and she's so knowledgeable. I wish I could take the class again just to be around her because as long as Allie is in the room, you will be learning and having fun.
Allison is an awesome teacher. Totally chill, nice, funny and smart. She's clearly really good at what she does and she is well aware that this is just a public speaking course at a college and not some professional speech setting.
She is a great professor, take her class and see for yourself!
SHE IS THE BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!! SO SMART, CHARMING AND CREATIVE!!! I LOVE HER AND IF I CAN TAKE THIS CLASS AGAIN I WILL....
Allison Green is amazing. This class is foolproof if you pay attention to her! She is VERY willing to help, just ASK! She makes what is a terrifying class as laid back as possible and breaks it down into steps. Do yourself a favor and do it the way she requests, it'll only help you!
She is honestly the best teacher I've had in a long time. She is always willing to take the time out of her day to answer your emails and help you with the work. Shes hilarious! And she makes the class fun. She gets very personal with her stories, but they always made me laugh. I would totally take this class again if i could!
Allison (she will tell you to call her that) is the best professor I have taken in my last 2 years. Hands down one of my favorite of all time. Honest, and open makes you feel comfortable. Little tough on the grading but that shouldn't be an issue if you follow her directions. Take her public speaking, you'll enjoy it!
I told professor Green I would be coming to class late and asked her if she needed a note, to which she replied "no". Later i told her that my uncle passed and I needed to go to the funeral. Again, she said I needed no proof. So there I am showing up to class late and that was all she wrote. From that point on I felt like I was going in circles.
This teacher needs to retire. She is awful! I would never take a class with her again, she puts you down, not uplifts you, I am a 47 yr old student and I am about to give her a piece of my mind, I have loved all of my teachers at Camden County College, I get along with all of them, but as for her, she is moody and if she doesn't like you, its over
The book is necessary for this class!!! She assigned a lot of reading but it's necessary to understand the assignments. She's clear on the grading of your work, she gives you a copy of her grading system and sample speeches so you know what to expect. I would take her class again, you learn from the experience, she's precise so you earn your grade.
She comes off in self-centered and conceited manner. This teacher is extremely arrogant. In the process of helpingteaching you, she is also insulting you. For example, when she leaves comments on your speech outline BEWARE of insulting comments. However, if you do take her class she is a fair grader.
Professor Green, can be very arrogant. However, if you stick to her instructions you will do well.
One of the best teachers I've ever had!
Alison Green is an amazing teacher. I dreaded public speaking but she makes it so easy anyone can pass. She is clear cut and basically hands you an A if you do the work, which is easy and minimal. You need to be self motivated and not sit back and expect to pass. I would recommend her a thousand times over.
Allison is the Best!!!!!! As long as you participate you will pass. Advice: Read and do the workshops
Allinson is the best she is funny and really nice. But you have to do the work.
allison is extremely nice and outgoing, perfect person to teach public speaking anyone taking this class will come leave a much improved public speaker
Wow, what can I say about Green. Great at what she does. Toughest class of the semester for me to be honest. But ill tell you this about this teacher. She doesn't care much about the actual presentation but more about the outline that you turn in. Which is good and bad, because you have to be very specific on the outline. but good teacher.
Good hearted woman. Tough class and she is strict, but she will help you if you try. Attendance is a must. She is good with details and examples. Definitely liked her!
One of my favorite professors by far, if you do what she asks you to do you'll be golden!
She can be quite irritating and often speaks way to loud. She tends to put students down when asking a question, which I did not like. But I found this class to be fairly easy. She gives clear grading criteria as well. The book is necessary for the mid-term but you do not really need to do the reading assignments.
Professor is great I took the 9 day course. it was quick and easy, people warned me she was gonna fail me but if you do the work you're fine. even if you suck at public speaking. Do not be late to class or you wont get credit.
Amazing prof. Take her if public speaking makes you nervous. 75% of your speech grade is the outline you prepared beforehand. The 9 day winter class was tough but she took that into account. She gives you all of the tools you need to succeed. If you do not pass her class it was most likely your own fault.
LOVE HER!! Took a 9 day winter class but she was very understanding and helped as much as possible! Considering this was a winter class attendance was mandatory. The grade is based on mostly outline and effort. I was so nervous for speaking but she is hilarious and made the class very enjoyable. I would take the class again just for her!
I suck at talking in front of people. I literally start to shake, but even so I didn't feel out of place in this class. Sure, I still struggled but I never felt like I was potentially going to fail because of my speaking skills. If you read and do the outlines decently, you will pass the class.
Class was over on the 9th of May and it's the 22 of May and she has yet to submit grades. She sent an email about her family stopping by to visit and them coming first so grades would be late. Yet was always harping on us the importance of being responsible, that she doesn't care if we have family issues we need to be adults.
When I first entered Ms. Green class I did not like her, however, Ms. Green is wonderful. Make sure you do your speech outlines, and ALWAYS participate in class especially the "first" speech (introductory speech). Remember to keep trace of your grades. It may seem like a lot, but it really is not DO NOT STRESS! She will tell you the same, EASY A!
Just a terrible human being. Insults people and makes you feel bad. Its an introductory class. She tells us to read the book. And doesnt teach anything relevant. She is a tad racist too.
She is an amazing teacher and very critical of work. This class is not an easy A. I don't like speaking in front of people but she grades more so on the outlines than the speeches. Just pay attention to the lectures and PICK EASY TOPICS to do speeches on and you'll pass. (Best to take in summer and get it over with if your nervous)
Allison is a wonderful woman and an amazing professor. I wish that I could have an 1/8 of the talent she has with words. Every one of her classes left me in awe. I learned a lot and hope to utilize these learnings in the future.
Was an amazing professor! I'm not great at talking in front of people but she made it a lot easier with the tips she gave. She explained everything and gave plenty of examples on WebStudy.
Firstly, she's a very good Public Speaking teacher, gives good feedback. All examples Webstudy. Next, follow the syllubus, DON'T BE LATE EVER. Very punctual, follow her format for speeches. Textbook used. OUTLINE/EFFORT ARE VERY IMPORTANT in this class. Would take again, choose her for Public Speaking! :)
Allison was one of my favorite professors ive ever had! she comes off a little stern at first, but youll love her as the semester goes on. She really wants to help you & make sure you pass her class. Ask for help if you need it!!! & Make sure you do the outline the way she wants it & youll get an A! amazing professor
She's a great professor and a better person, but she pretty much judges you on everything you do if you cross her the wrong way. And when speaking to her 1 on 1, you can pick up a condescending tone from the way she explain things to you. Nice lady, but I wouldn't recommend taking her class if you don't have enough time
Great prof, great person. Never had a teacher as invested in my well-being as her. I found out later I didn't have to take this course for my degree, but that's funny, because this was one of the few courses that really helped me mature.
Prof Green is definitely knowledgable about the material and skills for public speaking. However, she's often impatient and mean. Get on her good side by being on time, not missing class, paying attention, participating, and put work into your speeches. She's tough but it's not impossible to pass.
Professor Green is one of the most influential and respected professors I have ever had. Do not get me wrong, she is a tough teacher but I got SO MUCH out of this class that I took with me to university. She provides enough resources to help you if you struggle and if you take advantage of them and do the work you should do well.
Allison was the best professor I have ever had. There was a lot of work but for the first time in my life I was going to class to learn instead of going to pass. Allison inspired me to be a better person as well as a better student. Thank you Allison for being such an influential person in my life.
A truly inspirational teacher, capable of helping even those with the lowest levels of self confidence. She was able to get everyone speaking their hearts no matter how far their journey was or how their first speech went. She was able to instill knowledge and self confidence in every student.
Mean and inpatient! Worst professor ever.
Im a guy and I dont usually complain but she was terrible. She gave low grades even when you worked your hardest and threw students out of class just for being three minutes late when stuck in traffic after work to get to class.
At first, I thought Allison was going to be mean, but once we all got to know each other more, it was clear she just pushes everyone hard because she cares and wants the best for all of us. Allison knows what she is talking about for sure. At first I didnt think her outline would help at all, but I use them now even outside of her class. Take her!!
I would not recommend taking Professor Green for public speaking. If you do, prepare for a stressful semester, as this class is way more difficult than it should be. I also found Prof. Green to be annoyingly strict and rude at times, and felt as if I was on eggshells while in her class.
Literally the worst professor at camden county college. Its my 3rd semester and I have never had any trouble with any professor there besides professor Allison Green. She is so racist, and will now help you with anything. No matter what you do she will always give you a bad feedback. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT TAKE HER. YOU WILL REGRET IT FOR LIFE.
If she doesnt like you then youre def not going to do good. Shes not able to teach anymore. Made my semester a nightmare and didnt even teach nothing. i wish i had never taken her. made me want to quit school for a moment. whatever you do stay awayyyyy for her class. god know how much you will regret it.
She is so rude. She makes fun of people all the time and shes racist. We were going over the book in class and she yelled at a student to close the book. She doesnt work well with you especially since we went onto online classes she could have worked better with us students but I just know Ill be in public speaking again.
Professor Green is not as bad as the reviews make her out to be. She is tough and challenging, but if you are respectful and approach her the right way you will not have a problem. Getting an A is not impossible. Work with her and she will work with you. It also helps that every speech gives you 10 points to screw up before points are deducted.
As someone who struggles with english subjects, this class wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I ended up with a B because of a few errors, and i found Professor Green to be a tough grader but overall fair. She's funny and always has something interesting to say in her lectures. A good teacher but a great person.
The most passively aggressive professor I've ever had. Straight up abrasive towards most students and when class transitioned to online. Refused to give feedback for speeches to improve for future assignments despite reaching out through email and personal meetings. Nasty over email accusing students of not doing work. Avoid at all costs.
Horrible horrible horrible.... thats all I have to say.
Terrible
-Too critical for SPE102 -Unclear outlines -Don't take unless you have a lot of time for the one class
I am 21 years old and have had 50+ teachers, and Allison Green is by far the worst. She is a tough grader and likes things to be EXACTLY the way she wants. She is not nice at all. I dont understand how anyone is recommending her. She is a truly awful teacher. I have never rated a professor before, but I wanted to save people from taking her.
I follow her outline examples and she still critiques everything, although I followed hers. She will take off a lot of points for one thing. Shes also terrible with communication and doesnt help when I ask for tips on how I can make my speech better. And her course is poorly planned out. Maybe she needs to create a better prep outline for class
I took this class online with professor Green and although it is not a difficult class if you do the work and follow the proper directions, professor green is not very nice. She is very passive aggressive in her emails and it is honestly unprofessional. There can always be issues when you are using technology and she is not understanding at all.
This person is the worst teacher ever I had a 4.0 gpa and she failed me I never failed a class before I did all her assignments got all As until I had to do a video and she saw that I was black and she gave me a big fat 0!!!!! I even payed someone to help me with my paper who is perfect at speech and she said it was still wrong and it didnt matte
Never had failed a class before she gave me all As until she seen a video of me and she gave me a fat 0 !!!!!!! And I know I did my paper to the T . And when I asked her about it she got smart with me!! Shes no help at all and I believe she may be racist Im not happy with her at all!!!
She is very vague in her instructions and wants things done a very precise way. She's a tough grader even though I would go over everything with her before I submitted it. I would not recommend her as a professor.
PROBABLY THE WORSE PROFESSOR AT CAMDEN COUNTY. Someone should definitely report her to the board of education. I did everything she asked for on the outline. When I handed in my presentation video, she gave me a big fat 0! Telling me I didnt follow the outline the way she wanted it. Any other professor wouldve of given me a C for the hard work!
Only C I've gotten at CCC, don't take her if you don't need to. Offers poor feedback and doesn't care what grades her students receive.
Literal garbage, I dont even have her.. but I know people who do and she grades like an absolute idiot and super strict, shouldnt be teaching because shed rather you fail
Ive taken a lot of courses and had a lot of professors throughout the years and Prof. Green is by far the WORST. She is extremely rude. She actually makes me feel uncomfortable talking to her. She is not understanding what so ever. Everything MUST be her exact way or you will receive a bad grade. Critiques every little thing. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
I felt as though her feedback was not clear and did not help at all. I went to her with technology problems on one of my speeches and her first response was "I have 150 other folks to worry about before I can worry about you." I think that says enough right there.
She's literally a tough grader and if you want to pass your public speaking course definitely it is a must to avoid taking her. She always finds your mistakes and takes tons of points out and that you're DONE.
She is an extremely tough grader who doesn't give the best feedback. Often the highest grade in the class was an 80/100; for me, someone who has always had a high 'A' GPA, she killed my enthusiasm this semester. Her instructions are veryyyy long (like 10 pages per assignment), and unclear. She seems nice, but so strict it often comes off rude.
Directions are 3/4 pages long PER doc, & for each assgnmt there are 3 docs Super nit-picky, finds every detail possible to give you lowest grade possible. I aced high school PS, AP English classes, & other college courses, & struggled with her nonspecific examples & illegitimate advice. Read it more carefully to be precise. Hated this class.
The class itself is not that hard, it was completely online so there was no real interaction with the teacher other than grading and feedback. The feedback she gives is pointing to other documents saying read this or that instead of saying anything useful. the other problem is she does not bend when it comes to mistakes you break a rule u get a 0
She's just not a good professor, in my opinion. She's too nitpicky and frankly shouldn't be teaching online classes with the amount of work she requires. The point of online classes are to be flexible which she is not.
She is way too strict with her standards. Even after following every assignment instruction to the letter, she always seemed to have a lot of criticisms that just came across as too nitpicky. She graded too harshly too. I would not recommend anyone to take her class.
Followed her instructions down to the wire and she failed me. I am an RN who worked Covid during her class and got sick was late w a few assignments bc of working and she gave me no time. My son held the camera during my presentation and she said he was to shakey .he has diabetes give me a break.
Hands down the worst professor I have ever had- and for perspective I have a 4.0 . Zero compassion for anyone under any circumstances, treats even adults like children, and sends emails with multiple spelling errors regularly. My dog would have been a more effective instructor. I speak publically for a living and had to withdraw for my own health
There is absolutely no logical organization on her Canvas. Modules are out of order so you need to search for assignments since there is also no tab for that on the side. I reached out to her 3 days before a due date and she told me I was too late to ask for help. Vague feedback on work. Overall rude and does not care about student success.
I took this class online and it is perfect if you are shy, speeches are just videos you record and submit. She walks you through the first speech as homework and you're on your own for the second. She is a tough grader, she looks very closely at your work. Quizzes are fairly easy. I would recommend if you're looking to spend a lot of time.
Be prepared to do everything exactly the way she says or you wont pass. She treats students like children and has explicitly told us that she doesnt care what we do because she gets paid either way. The Canvas course makes no sense. She is extremely nit-picky but her comments dont help. Would not recommend avoid if possible!
Allison was honestly my favorite teacher this semester. I have really bad anxiety and was able to pass this class with an A. She gives little 20 point quizzes on each chapter of the book online and I was able to do them without opening the book once. She was very clear on what she wants. If you have to take SPE get her!
Don't skip her! She's easily one of the most intelligent and well-mannered teachers to ever grace this college. She's a tough teacher and her methods will rub people the wrong way. However, these methods can help students break out of their shells and when they do, they'll be elevated to greater heights in terms of character and mindset.
Allison by far gave the best lectures I had at this college. She treats her learning material like a science, so if you're looking for more depth in your public speaking course, her classes are ideal. She genuinely cares about her students and made strong efforts towards inclusivity. Her speech assignments are demanding, but rewarding.
- Many quizzes based off textbook (very straightforward questions if you read will do well) - 2 speeches she gives good feedback and if you follow all of the instructions and make the changes she suggests you will do well - Overall a bit of a difficult class but good professor
By far the worst teacher I've ever had in my entire life. Not only is she rude, but she absolutely does not care for her students in any way. Have a family or health crisis? Oh well that's not her problem. On top of that she's horrible at explaining anything about what you're doing and assigns you to do things that just don't exist. Stay away.
Professor Green belittles her students and does not give them the confidence to actually give a quality speech. She is very critical and doesn't help to correct or teach because of her criticism. Very little is seen in her demeanor that she cares for her students growth within the classroom and makes it difficult to learn and to gain confidence.
Only cares about her paycheck, her students do not matter to her in the least. She needs to be removed from CCC. She is NO professor!
Dr Green is a very caring and accessible professor. Do the work and send it to her early and she will go over it with you and correct it. She looks at her email all the time and even corrected stuff over the weekend and one holidays. You get back what you put in with her, which is totally fair. Great teacher.
The directions and feedback given were very confusing and often left me more confused than I was originally.
Very good professor but *very* old-fashioned. She's very dedicated so she earns some of her strictness but fair warning: only take her classes if you can match this or if you have few other classes. All of her lectures word-for-word are on canvas in the documents tab, so it's not as hard to find assignment instructions as other reviews say.
Green taught public speaking pretty well, the quizzes and tests are very easy but she can be very aggressive with her views. Several times she's let her personal views obstruct lessons and lost her patience with students. Again, she's alright and a fair teacher, just at times her personal views obstruct the lesson.
I had this class; 7 weeks summer course and there were 3 essays, extra bonus points, and quizzes. Quizzes are easy based on lectures. I would recommend this professor for online.
I am conflicted because I hate to admit I truly learned a lot from her I still remember her speech structures. However, I did not like her personality at all. Now maybe it was just me and I'm trying to be fair, but she is absolutely an acquired taste
Meanie
Absolutely an acquired taste. Canceled class more than I was actually in class. Drones on and on at nauseum, and makes this class feel like a waste of time. If you value your sanity, avoid her class!!! Terrible professor.
Absolute waste of time. The textbook was a waste of money, went on tangents about nothing for most of the class. We worked on one speech for 3 months!! She's an acquired taste, and if you don't gel with her (admittedly out there) personality, you'll hate every second of her class. Avoid at all costs!!!!
This woman loves to nit-pick on students speeches, will make you waste time and energy to make her satisfied in every way with whatever work she gives you, grades late, and then makes mistakes in grading.
If you can spare yourself this course, do it. Ms. Green is one of the only professors for this course at Camden County, so she thinks she's god.
took this class multiple times her style of teaching never changed. Do not take this course if it is avoidable. No matter how many times you ask for help nothing you do will ever be done "right" this professor will fail you if you do not adhere perfectly to her 500 step processes. Even negatively commented on a speech I wrote about my mom passing.
Never provides instruction on how to improve your submitted work. Tells you her class is one of the hardest on campus. Criticizes why you're taking her class online, but tells you her in-person is even harder. Doesn't use Canvas grading system in a way that allows you to track your actual grade. Severe grading on all speeches.
Professor Green's SPE102 class was challenging, but her clear feedback and use of tools like unstuck ai helped me succeed despite my public speaking anxiety. With a bit of effort and the right resources, this class ended up being a rewarding experience.
Great Teacher. She kept the class interested and explained assignments very clearly till everyone understood. Had an online zoom attendance option every class too if in person was a problem that day
Professor Green is very friendly and knowledgeable about public speaking, and it shows. She is definitely a tough grader, but she makes the grading criteria very clear for each speech and thoroughly goes over it in the lectures. You can finish most of your speeches during the lecture. Don't be like me and forget that there are online assignments :(
This teacher writes her own book. She told me my opener was not strong because it wasn't a copy paste of her opener. She literally gives you an outline and then expects you to copy and paste her essay and fill out the blanks with her stuff. Terrible professor. She will nitpick everything including what type of online writing format you choose.
Camden County needs to let someone else teach this class online. The first day, she lets you know you'll have a hard time passing this class. She is not there to teach you. She is the worst professor in the entire college. I had a 4.0 in every class and did all the work exactly how she wanted it, and she gave me a D.
This is by far the WORST class I have ever taken at CCC. The professor is horrible I don't know why she hasn't been removed yet. Her instructions are like 5 pages long and her feedback is very confusing. Please choose a different professor and DO NOT take her online course. This course should not have been this difficult.
Still awaiting my final grade. Her feedback is quite confusing. When ‘grading' outlines she quite literally writes in between your sentences. She had a lot of personal things that were going on which affected our grading. She said OL is a waste of time. Teachers I worked with who had her warned me about her and said ‘good luck she's a nightmare.'
