Dr. Riddles is an amazing professor! I never liked English before this class, but she makes it interesting. She is funny and kind and down to earth. As long as you do the work and participate everything goes smooth. Definitely recommend!

I am SO bad at english and she was AWESOME! Very down to earth and helpful. I don't want to say it was an "easy" A, but it was much more managable to get the grade. You have to actually read the material to pass the quizzes and participate, taking notes really helps too. But if you put in a fair amount of time into the class you'll do great!

The best teacher ever! I learned so much. She understands that we all have other obligations and will work with you as long as you do not abuse it. Take her! You will not regret it. "A" Class if you do the work. Irsc is lucky to have her.

Profesor Riddles was the best english teacher I've ever had. She really made me feel good about my essays. There are about 4 essays and a final exam essay. The other part of the class is particpaton and reading the required stories and having quizes. She is a very easy grader and gives extra credit. I will deff take her again for ENC1102!! Recomend

She is very nice and helps alot with class. she goes over your essay and gives it back so you can get a better grade. all you have to do is keep up with the reading which really isn't that much. Oh and when you have teacher review all you have to do is meet her at her office for 10 minutes or so to go over the essay and then you're free!

I recommend this teacher so much. If you treat her as a friend instead of a teacher it will only help you more. You do use the book a lot, but the class is such an easy A with her being such a laid back person. If you want to have a fun class, Riddles is the way to go.

Any student who has Dr. Riddles as an English instructor has lucked out. She makes interesting what can be a difficult and dry subject. She knows her stuff, motivates the students to learn and handles the classroom in a deft fashion. Great sense of humor. I doubt if Ivy League students would have a better English instructor. Best professor in all of IRSC. Made everything so casual and easy to understand. All essays were short and were easy to write because they are about yourself. She was funny and sarcastic which made class a blast to come to. If yo missed class she never got mad just was supportive. REALLY recommend this professor for all ENC classes!

Textbook was used daily as homework. You read the required reading and had a quiz each beginning of class. She always had one bonus question that no one could get wrong (what's your favorite color, etc). Essay's were overall easy to write as well. She's nice and in class discussions are fun at times. As long as you read the stories your fine.

This by far is the greatest teacher that I have ever had. Before this class I absolutely hated English, and it turned out to be my favorite class in college. The class does require input, but what you get out of it is simply amazing. Dr. Riddles, YOUR THE BEST!

Creative writing is a really easy class and the teacher is amazing! Seriously, just follow the very few things she asks you to do and you're guaranteed an A. It's your own fault if you don't gen an A in Creative Writing.

she is very understanding. in class work is easy. the only quizzes you have are 5 questions regarding a story you read for homework. essay topics are easy too! overall is a great teacher between tone,class work and grades.

Absolutely the best class I have ever taken...didn't like English before and she made me love it. 5 ques. Quiz on stories you have read with extra credit every quiz. Took online for Summer I, it's extremely easy! 4 quizzes and 5 essays; which are easy. Plus for the quizzes you get to use your text book. The final exam is your 5th essay. I definitely recommend taking her. Dr.Riddles is one of the best!

I absolutely loved Riddles! I had her for 1101 for Summer I as my first dual enrollment class and it was super easy! You will need the Short Reader quite a bit, but the other book I used only once. She is willing to help if you need it. I'm trying so hard to get into her 1102 class. She is AMAZING!!

Took her online, you have easy homework from the two books she assigns. And a total of five essays to do. Easy. Only problem was there was a communication breakdown towards the end and it had me wondering what my grade was since apparently ANGEL wasn't properly updating and she wouldn't email me back what my grade was.

I took this class online and was quite easy. Five essays, and some grammatical homework along with reading passages with questions to answer after the reading. Grading is fair. Organized rubrics for assignments.

This class was ridiculously easy. I took it online. There were two, 5-question reading assignments that were taken directly from the required reading and didn't even have to be answered in full sentences. Then there were 4 simple essays. That's it. Riddles grades very easily - I literally had a 100 on every assignment. She is bad with communication

Took Dr Riddles for ENC1101 & EC1102. She is AWESOME! Everything is clear & if you put in some effort you can pass with an A. Sometimes takes a bit to post your grades on Angel, but again, if you just try & hand in decent work you will pass with an A. She actually has the quickest and best communication out of all of my professors. Ever since she took over the creative writing program it is SO much better. She is the best I have had. Her class is really easy and she loves helping. The book is necessary, but the reading quizzes are only 5 questions and she always gives an EC (extra credit) question. The essays are long, but they are easy and she always helps and gives you plenty of time (about a week) to finish them.

I enjoyed Dr. Riddle's class very much. She gets straight to the point but if you have a question, she will take the time to explain until you get it. She is likeable and easy to get along with. Riddles is a very understanding teacher. I had to miss a few classes for a funeral, and she let me make up the work without much of a hassle. The reading quizzes can be a little tricky, but there is extra credit in each one. The essays are nearly impossible to fail, as she does both peer and instructor review. Highly recommend for dual-enrollment.

Dr Riddles is the easiest most fun english teacher ever. If you read the stories & participate in class you'll do great! She gives about 4 essays but i got a 100% on all .. a very fair grader! If you can't pass this class i don't know whats wrong with you. Definitely recommend taking her :)

I took Riddles for Creative Writing. I enjoyed this class immensely, however, if you are not talkative or are rather shy I do not recommend, a huge partgrade of this class is participation. She responded promptly to emails, however, never posted any grades. Only down side is that she is very emotional, you will never know her mood. Otherwise great

If you do her work and turn in papersrough drafts on time, the class will be a breeze. English has always been my least favorite subject, but this was by far my best class this semester.

Flat out fantastic professor. Really helps students improve their writing with the course set up & it's absolutely worth your time. Attendance is important. Submitting your writing happens roughly every two weeks which is plenty of time to create anything you want. Very open, cares, funny, critiques professionally and pleasantly. Brilliant lady!

There are no tests or quizzes - just submit a few original works of writing and it is critiqued by Riddles and classmates openly in class. She is HILARIOUS! Riddles was a great professor to have. I had an early class, so if class was cancelled, it would be difficult to know before I drove to the college. She assigns an essay each week. Don't miss more than 5 classes, be there ON TIME on quiz days, and PRINT your essays ON TIME, and you will pass.

Amazing! She gives a 5 question quiz from readings that are assigned. Exact to Syllabus unless she was absent (Only because of medical reasons). There are a few essays. After each is turned in she must look at it and a peer review must be done. Then a final copy has to be turned in. She also gives extra credit towards the end of the course.

Best English teacher I've ever had and one of the best teachers period. She is very helpful, doesn't nit-pick, is incredibly nice, and treats her students as her own. She's a selfless woman, really. I would take her again and again for every class if I could. People love her. TAKE HER!!

Greatest English teacher I've had. She's lenient on late work as long as you talk to her about it. Check out the schedule and read the stories assigned because there are 5 question quizzes on them with a random extra credit question. The essays are based on yourself; make sure you print out 2 copies for peer grading. She lets you eat during class.
