He is sucha nice guy. He's laid back and willin to help you out. I would defintly recommnand him to anyone. He's one of the best!!

Okay, I am not going to lie, he is easy. But he does know about geography. I mean his class is no the most interesting in the world, u might drift off to sleep a time or two, but hey it is easy.

He is the most easiest teacher I have had. The exams are not all hard if you can find the answers in the book cause they are all take home.

Great Teacher for an easy A+. Have not gotten the final but after 2 tests, they've been open notes/book or take home. Down to Earth Teacher. Attendance is mandatory & counts, but he lets u miss up to 4 classes. Even if you read the book the subject is straight forward. It's GEOGRAPHY not history. Whoever wrote the Apr 06 comments is a loser.

I really learned a lot in this class. Prof Parker gives fair tests and as long as you look over the notes/chapters you'll do well. He is really willing to give you an A if you work for it.

Prof.Parker makes class very interesting and fun. Tests are pretty straight foward, he gives some pretty easy assignments that he counts as extra credit. Funny guy, easy and interesting class, great choice for a social science credit!!!

Awesome guy. Very funny and likes to keep his class interesting. I would really reccomend him as a teacher. He doesnt want any of his students to fail and gives so many opportunities to gain extra credit. The book is helpful because you can use it on some tests.

If you want an easy A, then take this class. He makes this class fun and easy. He gives you a ton of extra credit. He also makes some of his tests open book and take home. The last test was a group test. I'm telling you, it's an easy A!

This professor is great! He is very nice and very understanding. Some of his test are open book and others are take home. If you want an easy and stress free class then take his class.

Ok, this is how it is. First test, I got an F because I didnt study, all other tests open book, I got A's and B's. One is take home, and final is done in group (as many as you want in the group). I finished the class with an A because he gives so much extra credit. He is really nice and helpful, and as long as you put in a little effort, your fine!

This guys is freaking awesome.I love his class if he taught any other subject like math i soo would take it. He knows his stuff, the class is soo much fun he keeps it going with discussions and lots of interactive info. No homework,test are easy and grades fair. Lets u correct the wrong answers for half the points.if u fail ur dumb. Take him !!!!!!

Easiest class ever. Do the assessments, print them out, and bring them to class on test day. Tests are open note, open book, and sometimes you can take them in groups. He is also kinda hot.

Prof. Parker is one of the easiest professors ever. He is a really cool teacher. On tests, he allows you to use your textbook, notes, and sometimes he allows you to work in groups and help each other. He is an easy A. Take him.

Prof. Parker is probably one of the best teachers on this campus. If you have questions he has answers or he is willing to look em up. Really great attitude and very energetic. Professor Parker is the most funniest, easy, laid back professor...it's almost scary how easy this class is. If you want an easy class then sign up and do all the assments, if you want to learn show up, pay attention I tooked this class based around my major learned a lot only cause I cared to. Everything is online, you take assments and they are not due to end of semster. I recommend doing them weekly and you have a midterm and final based on the assments also in class assiments

This class is best!!! you have two options go to class and learn something that you paid for or don't go either way you'll get an A in class. Based off on line assessments, midterm and final and some in class assessments. easy easy A, He funny, Cool guy but all honesty his class is so easy it's a joke. everything is on line even final and midterm.

The reason you do not read the book is because he covers the topics in class in great detail. Many will continue to get A's in his class because he teaches well, he knows his stuff and he is an expert on passing on his knowledge. That is what makes a great professor in my opinion! Love, love, love him!

Extremely good professor.

Second time I took this man and enjoyed him just as much as the first time! The man knows his subject extremely well. Likes to get you involved, makes jokes, and even lets you explore campus during class. Do not pass him up!! You have a midterm, final, and a bunch of "quizzes" online.

EASY A! His quizZES are on BlackBoard with the answers second time you take it. Attendance, he passes a sign in sheet. He just talks none stop. All the quiz is due at the end of the semester SUPER EASY. Very interesting Lectures! Don't bother buying the book I did and its just sitting there -_-! GREAT CLASS THO :)

Now listen, the information/discussions in the class are so interesting; it will make you think twice about how you treat the Earth. He is cute & knowledgeable but still willing to listen & learn from his students.

Like they already said he give assessments on blackboard and have 2 tries and their not due till the end of the semester. He gives worksheets once in a while. Very easy just do the work**

This guy was awesome. He's super chill and we mostly just talked every class. Sometimes the subjects went to cars or video games, but they were usually about going green and alternative ways of living to benefit the planet. Don't even bother buying the book.

Ok this professor is very easy but his class is THE MOST BORING CLASS you will ever attend. All he does is talk talk talk NONSTOP and lectures COMPLETELY off powerpoints which can be the biggest drag. His one hour and a half class can turn into 3 hours because of how BORING it is. Oh and worst part about it: forget about leaving a minute early.

This class is the EASIEST class ever !!!!. Online assessment for EVERY chapter. However, you have 2 attempts and will be given the answers after the first time. Midterm is a single attempt and online. Final was a worksheet. Lecture can be rather dull with equally dull in class worksheets. If your GPA needs help or need to fill in a spot take him.

Excellent teacher. Very laid back. Very easy. Only gives midterm and final. Homework assessment for each chapter but you get two attempts. Make sure to apply yourself and this is an easy A. If you don't apply yourself he gives more work.

Come to class and be respectful,he is super cool, just work hard and he'll give you a good grade for effort. One of the coolest teachers i've come across

I was not interested in this class not until he gave us things to research i really enjoyed his Online class but the only thing is he is terrible at getting back to you in email but i received an A. And i learned a lot of interesting Facts about our world. my friend took him in class he never showed up and he got an A also.

He's Awesome! His class is fun and really easy! When taking notes, he makes things interesting so you're not sitting there bored. Prof. Alon Parker is one of the best professors that teaches at Broward College. He's an excellent guy to take for Geography. He knows this material like the back of his hands. I received an A for his class during Winter 2013. If you're a leach, or even just lazy, and don't do your homework or study, then you deserve the grade of a D or lesser.

He's an awesome professor! Makes our life & his life so much easier. I took him in the summer & I'm glad I took him.. Class was supposed to be Mon-Thur... BUT he only let us come Tues & Thurs = PERFECT. All the work is due at the end along with just ONE final. (No midterm) he's super smart & he's easy to get along with. Of course I got an A :)

Super easy class; easy A. Did not learn anything because class was not challenging at all. If you are looking for a GPA boost, you are at the right place. Professor is knowledgeable but has not clue how to stimulate student's mind. GPA boost, that's all.

Cool, laid back professor. Makes his lectures interesting, and tries to get the class involved. Fair amount of interesting, educational videos are shown in class and mandatory was said to be mandatory, but I didn't make it to class numerous times without being penalized. The class was refreshing I learned many things about china and Europe that I once did not know I especially loved to learn about Africa. He is very animated when he speaks and will keep you interested throughout the class.

Parker knows EVERYTHING about geography & environmental science. Take his 5050 blended class. Only 2 assignmentsweek. Very easy to keep up if you work. NO FINAL just do your assignments.

Took this class over the summer and I knew it was going to be easy but not this easy. I am not complaining lol. He is an easy going and laid back dude. There was no final, midterm, or tests. Just stay on top of the online quizzes, assignments, & discussions and you will pass with an A. He also gives worksheets in class which he reviews.

One of the nicest and easier instructor. All you have to do is show up to class, listen to his lectures, read, and complete your assignments (who would have thought lol) Has some very interesting stories that applies to the class.

One of the best. I took him for two classes so far and have to take him for two more for my program. He is very helpful. Just do your work and show interest and you will be fine.

If your a persistent student and need to miss one class for valid reasons, he'll make sure that your still caught up with classroom work.

Professor Alon is one of the best professors I've ever had. He is very concise in his teaching and he really has a passion for the subject. He is one of those professors who actually want to see his students suceed. His has an amazing charismatic pesonality, and most importanly the work he assigns is fairly easy... if you want to pass take him!

Easy A, but Professor Parker really knows his stuff, maybe if we had more time to cover everything in the class then it would have been more interesting. If you take him for World Geography on a session II or a summer term it is up to you if you want to learn or not. The information is right there and Professor Parker is an awesome instructor.

Professor Parker was the easiest A ever. It was a 8 week course but it wasn't anything hard. Show up, and you'll past. If you're ever absent he'll give you the worksheet and allow you to make anything up. There's a discussion assignment every week and a coloring worksheet. He lectures about modern day problems and the world but it's interesting!

Easy A. show up, and do the worksheets. Doesn't require too much effort to get the grade.

I took his enhanced class, and it was super easy. You just read and do online quizzes. Then you have in class assignments that he passes out and he grades them at the end of the semester. You have a one 1 project for the final instead of a test. Which is easy. He is super funny would take again.

Tutorials are easy. You can do a set of tutorials in one day if you wanted. Finding data can be challenging. Midterm and Final are projects. There are in class assignments but you don't have to do them in class. This a lab so he teaches a bit at the beginning of semester and the rest you can finish at home if you want. Show up for Projects!

He is a good instructor I enjoyed his class and learned allot. He cares about his students and love to teach. He is funny but he does tend to go off topic. Do his work sheets he does collect them at the end of the semester. Do the online assignment is because if you wait last minute it tends to be allot of work. Overall, the class is a easy A

I really enjoyed this professor. I took his summer Geo class and as agonizing of a subject it may be, he made it entertaining and very enjoyable with group discussion and even his lectures weren't boring. We got to go outside and talk about the environment we live in and such. I passed with an A. Highly recommend him!

Alon Parker is an amazing professor! He was always super patient with students, and very laid back. He allowed the class a lot of time to do assignments and make up and missed assignments. All the quizzes were online through D2L. Super easy!

This class is perfect if you have a hard schedule and need to fill a easy class to accommodate. If you actually want to learn about geography then this isn't the right class for you. Most of the lectures aren't filled with a ton of information. I ended up with a 100 in the class. No test, just worksheets and a project that takes 15 minutes to do.

One of the nicest professors I've ever had. Actually cares about his students and wants them to pass. Meet him half way and you'll get an A no problem. Do the quizzes, "they're online" and do classwork and extra credit! One presentation but thats all!

Very easy class almost impossible to fail. Though its a bit boring. Graded by quizzes, worksheets, and an easy map project.

As long as you do all the assignments you will be fine. the assignments are actually very interesting and kept me wanting to learn more. he is also very understanding and if you ask him to turn something in late he will understand and will probably let you.

One of the best professors at Broward College for anyone studying history/geography. He accepts late work and the work is tolerable. You will need to make maps that are interesting but they have video instructions attached to them. Please take him. You won't regret it :)

Easy A!! PLEASE take him!! fun assignments and he gives you 1 and 1/2 week to do them. One of them being a discussion, 2nd one is just notes you took, 3rd one is a map assignment, and last one is just watching a movie/video and writing what you learned. If ur considering taking him, take this as a sign and do it!! He also takes late submissions!!

This was one of the best and easiest classes I have ever taken. The work in the class is straightforward so it's not hard to get an A. The professor is nice and makes it easy to get good grades in the class. I highly recommend it.

very chill professor, lectures can be a bit boring but the work is extremely easy. not much writing to do, mostly making online maps with arc gis which is also easy. there were no tests, only online quizzes which are easy if you just read the online textbook while doing the quiz. and the final was just making another map. take him!

Professor Parker is an amazing professor. I took World Geography with him and he made his course extremely fascinating, even for an online course. The assignments are simple and getting an A is very doable. He is incredibly understanding and allows you to turn in late work with no penalty. I highly recommend taking a course from him.
