Absolutely wonderful. Kind, patient, helpful, everything a Professor should be. It should be mentioned that she DOES have a bit of a foreign accent of some sort (I believe Vietnamese?), but she's careful to enunciate very clearly and carefully. Just...fantastic.

EASY CLASS! You learn the lessons, the homework is due the day of the test, then you get extra credit after EVERY TEST. She is so nice, and will really help you out if you need it. Before I took this class with her I failed it two times. I finished the semester with an A. You must to the homework, and she gives you 20 points for the homework. You have a group activity that is extra 20 points, and she always gives extra credit after the test. If you need help ask, she will always be there. Dont take anyone else!

Don't buy the textbook unless you prefer to use that, as the homework is done online and you never even crack the book open in class! Would recommend to people who need help with math.

I loved her she is a very nice woman. Yes, she is an islander so sometimes her accent is difficult to follow but overall not very much of an issue. She gives points for test corrections and if all HW is completed it will bring your grade up a lot. She has no problem slowing down to explain in detail if you are having trouble following. Great teacher! She truly cares for her students and wants them to succeed in her class. Homework is through mathlab and she has tests for every chapter. You can get a max of 20 extra credit points per test (practice quiz, corrections, attendance). Overall I would highly recommend her! She is truly a great teacher.

If you are not good at math, take her! All homework online, a quiz before the test, and then 5 tests. She gives you a practice test with the answers, I would do the test over and over so that I would have it memorized. The practice test is the same as the test! TAKE HER

What a great professor. She truly cares about her student's success. She gives up to 20 extra credit points per test. Her tests are based off her powerpoints. Didn't need the book. Homework on MyMathLab is extensive but helpful, especially the extra credit tests. If you want to get a high grade, take her and put in some effort. You won't regret it.

By far the best professor that I ever had!! She is such a sweetheart! There were only 5 tests and all the homework was online, which at times was a little much. She gives extra credit on each test, just for showing up. The class was extremely simple and she gives lots of examples. She gave really helpful tips when it came to solving equations.

Lochnicht is an easy professor because she gives you shortcuts and makes it easy to get the right answer. She does have a thick accent. If you are NOT going to take upper level math classes, she's the professor for you. If you ARE going onto Precalc & beyond, you need someone else. She doesn't teach you info needed to truly understand concepts.

She gives amazing reviews for the test which area almost identical to the tests, and up to 20 points extra credit per test. which means you can get a C on the test and still end up with an A! she went over whatever my classmates asked her to. she gave extra credit points on tests as log as you came to class on time and left when she dismissed class. if you had a problem on homework you could email her and she would email a solution and go over it the next day in class. she had review days on the class day before a test.

Great Prof! After not being in school for several years, math was not a fresh subject for me and Pro. Lochnicht did an amazing job at making sure I understood each chapter. Offers Extra Credit to help out on grades. Homework is designed harder than the actual chapter test; so if you understand the homework you will do just fine on the test.

You either grasp the information or not (it is math) but she will do anything in her power and book of resources to help you succeed. Professor Belle has been hands down my favorite professor. I took algebra online and i've never been one to do so great in math. She explains problems very well, has example questions for every homework question and responds within no time, even on weekends. Taking this professor is a no brainer! She is very accessible and even allows you to retake a test if you did poorly. Do the work (easy videos and examples from her help!) and you'll be just fine. I had trouble getting the remote proctoring to work on a test and with zero notice she proctored the test herself. Great teacher!

Mrs. Lochnicht is the sweetest woman in the world and I love her so much I had her for MAT 1033, MAC 1055, and now MGF 1107 she will help you if you are stuck one a H.W. problem and gives you the answers. The test are exactly alike as the study guides in MGF 1107, you have to fo a topic report and a writing prompt very simples just choose a topic!

I loved her class so much! I never understood math until this class, and this made me feel so smart. She is very patient with any issues with the Lumen system, and I love the Lumen system so much. If you struggle with math, PLEASE take her class. She is a utter gem.

She keeps it short and sweet, teaches you the steps you need to know and eliminates the confusing fluff. Math is not my strong subject. She has changed my world honestly. This is my second time taking Professor Lochnicht, but for a different math. I took her for A term calculus this summer while managing 4 other classes. Although it was a lot of work due to the term, she cares about her students a lot and it shows, but you need to be willing to communicate. Her lectures are also very helpful. I highly recommend.

I loved Professor Lochnicht. I was only able to take her for Intermediate Algebra but I wish I had her for College Algebra too! Her lectures were so helpful and practice tests were identical to the actual tests so take them!! She always responded quickly to questions. I really liked how the lessons were set up with the questions and that you could go along with the videos attached. I think some of the videos could of used some dating and the most of the tests are proctored. She responded quick and in-depth when it came to questions about the topics and was overall an easy class.

Professor Lochnicht is a nice women. I am not fond of algebra so was happy to pass. It gets harder with the amount of math you have to take for the business field. But overall she lectures well but I struggled cause I am not fond of graphs and the letter formulas. Great teacher though.

Professor Lochnicht was an ANGEL in MAC1105. She was so caring and emailed us constantly to help us with assignments and due dates. The material was easy to understand especially the videos in the MyLab homework. I took the 12 week course and it was 3-5 assignments per week, but very manageable. DO NOT fall behind in the class!

Dude. she gives practices tests with the exact questions (diff numbers) with explanations, she gives a ton of extra credit, when you finish a test, hours later, she comes back with an explanation with what you got wrong, each test has two attempts. On top of that,she sent weekly hmw reminders and she explains it in a way that makes sense!

I took the Fall 2024 semester with Professor Lochnicht through dual-enrollment and had the best experience. She is so clear with instruction and answers quickly to any questions sent by email. I loved how every question in Pearson had a video so I could always go back and study whenever I wanted to. SHe is also a very quick grader 10/10 reccomend.

The homework was set up on Pearson, and you have a video explaining each question. The practice tests are very similar to the test. She always gave me an extension when I needed it. Take her class!
