Hybrid 1200 class, lectures were clear and to the point. Do your homework on MathLab and you'll do well. No surprises on the tests. Very nice and helpful. Recommend.

She is easy to understand . Her guided notes are great and saves us using a notebook in class.

I FINALLY understand this stuff! She gets a 10 out of 5 for clarity. Very good with answering questions and responds quickly to emails. She is very fair to students and lets them know exactly what is expected of them. She has a fun personality that makes the material much easier to take in. Very ethical also- hard to find all of that in a teacher.

Took her web course over the summer, so not necessarily a lot of interaction, although when I had questions she was quick to give helpful answers. Will work with you as long as you are professional, reasonable, honest, and courteous. Take her advice and follow the syllabus and you can't go wrong. Very helpful teacher!

I took this class then got on her waiting list for the math 1200 after this, got an "A" both times, her teaching method is the best I have ever had it really does put you in charge and helps you succeed...if you don't get an "A" in her class its because you weren't doing to work and not trying. I took Professor Hanley's online Math 1250 class this past semester. Math has never been my strong subject but her notes and lesson plans were so easy to understand. Wasn't sure how well I would do with a online math class but I really enjoyed this class. It's all on My Math Lab which guides you through problems step by step. The textbook can be accessed via My Math Lab, so you don't need to buy one. If your going to do Math 1250 online this is the class you need to take!

Was told by a friend to take her class, and I'm glad I did. Hanley is the best math teacher ever. Just take down all the notes in class and do all the assignments on my labs software, and tests will be easy.

I needed to take math for my program, but never enjoyed it before this instructor. I took both required classes from her; even took a higher level course just to have her as an instructor. You do have to do the work, but she give students opportunities to succeed. She is also possibly one of the nicest people I have met.

I failed this class 3 times prior. My major and scholarship was in jeopardy. This time around i went to this website and researched whom was most helpful and students whom had success in their class. I took this class online and let me tell you- Before I hated math especially 1250. I passed this class. I recommend this professor highly!

Placed into 1250 and needed it for the nursing program. This was my first online class and I loved Professor Hanley. Her requirements are clear and if you do all the homework assignments and learn from them you will do well on quizzes and get an A. Would definitely recommend her!

I had Prof. Hanley for Fall semester 2015. She does an excellent job of explaining mathematical concepts. Be sure to attend all classes (as best you can) and stay on top of homework and quizzes. She understands that 'life happens' sometimes and as long as you have been taking care of your workload she is willing to work with you!

Definitely THE BEST professor I've ever had. I'm awful at math, and she made it very easy and understandable. Everything is very straightforward and if you are struggling, she will be there and help you until you understand. 10000% reccomend taking her!!!

Its MyMathLab - which I hate, and all online, but Hanley is amazing. She posts incredible notes that make fractals look simple - clear and not intimidating. We also got to use our notes on the final at the testing center. I had such a good experience, I wish she was teaching the stats class I need to take next semester.

I highly recommend Prof. Hanley for a math professor, especially for an online course. She's easy to follow and has exceptional notes, which you are able to use on your two midterm exams and final exam along with any of your own notes. Homework consists of roughly 30-50 questions and exams are 20 questions. You also take practice exams.

I took this class online. Homework was all on MyMathLab, Homework questions per section and quiz for the week, Accessible notes were helpful, I didn't use the book at all. I suggest not using ProctorU; I got an extremely low score for my midterm but got a 97% on my final. It was an environment that provoked test anxiety. Very easy class to take.

Professor Hanley was very accommodating and understanding. She reopened home work and quizzes at the end of the semester. Her lectures were very easy to follow all fill in notes. Her tests were just like the quizzes on mymathlab. Also she gives cheat sheets and calc solutions to make it easier and quicker. I easily could have gotten an A if I tried

In math 1240 you use mymathlab. All homework and quizzes are completed on mymathlab. Test are done at the testing center or protor u. Professor Hanley lets you use any notes. Take good notes because you will see some of the same questions on the exams. Easy A.

I did not like math at all before this class. I do not know why all teachers do not follow her format. She made the material so easy to learn. I am going to take all my math classes with her that i need for my nursing degree.

I hated math and was really dreading this class. With the way she taught, i actually enjoyed doing my homework. She teaches by way of guided notes which was excellent in my opinion. She's also extremely thorough when explaining concepts. I wish she could teach all my classes.

Amanda Hanley is GREAT! Online course super easy and straight forward. You can use all notes on exams at testing center and have unlimited chances to complete homework for 100%. Homework is followed up with a quiz and generally all of that took me about 2 hours/week then took my tests at the center. This class is an easy A if you do everything.

Took 1240 online, it was a fairly easy class, she uses mymathlab I printed out her notes to use on the midterm/final they totally helped!! the only thing I didn't care for is you have to take the midterm/final at the testing center.

I am terrible at math but Ms. Hanley was amazing. She provides notes that are clear and easy to follow for each lesson. There are 3 tests that you have to take at the testing center but you can use all of your notes. No textbook is needed. Highly recommend if you have to take contemporary math

I took math 1410 with professor Hanley. You will not find any hard time solving a math problem because she will explains how to solve each problem very well and in a very easy way. Her class was my favorite; I really loved her class. I really recommend taking her classes. She is the best.

Professor Hanley is outstanding! She provides guided notes. Course materials online through Pearson math lab. HW with unlimited attempts is due twice a week. Quiz once a week, that can be taken up to three times for best score. A practice exam with unlimited attempts, before every exam. She is always accessible and willing to help when needed.

I took math 1410 with Dr. Hanley. she is very knowledgeable, and solves the problem in very modern and easy way. If you attend her classes and did not miss any of her classes then you will be able to solve any math problem and you will get an easy A. I really wish if she teaches 1420. Such an easy class. I got an A and I barely tried. I didn't talk to the professor once the entire semester. Just watched a few of her videos and did the online lessons. She didn't over load with homework. Tests had multiple attempts. Never needed to ask for help, she made everything clear.

Professor Hanley is an absolutely AMAZING professor. She genuinely cares about her students and puts in the effort to see them succeed. Her class was online for me because of Covid but she really took the time to make sure it was the best it could be. This class was challenging, however Professor Hanley made it as smooth as possible. She made videos of her going through the guided notes which was helpful because you could re-watch them as many times as you wanted. She was also very accessible. Take this class if you need a math credit!!!

I had a prof that just made PowerPoint from the book and I had a hard time learning. She walks you through many examples so you understand the material. AMAZING

Professor Hanley made me like math again. I took this class online and the lectures she provides walks you through each chapter so you know how to solve the required problems for your homework and test. She makes the content relatable and provides clear direction. As long as you attend the online lectures and keep up with the work you will be fine.

If every professor were like her loved the subject she was teaching, cared for her students, cared about the world we'd all be better off. THIS is what a professor should be. The professor is amazing she dose moves fast during the notes in class. I loved that she had fill-in guided notes that she provides on Blackboard. Multiple attempts on homework and quizzes which are nice and its online. The exams are online as well but there's only one attempt. Overall would recommend.

I wish i could take her math classes for the rest of my college career!! its a reasonable amount of homework and with short quizzes every week.. grading is clear and easy and allows multiple attempts! she respond promptly to emails and uploads videos to youtube so you can always go back and watch again. super helpful!!

Love her! Awesome teacher, workload totally manageable. Gives AWESOME feedback; very attentive to emails and will adjust grades if you point out a system flaw (you thought it was right, system marked wrong). Very fair, just be sure to work on a little at a time every day. Can't just come 1x a week & do minimum.
