She comes off as very friendly as exciting but this quickly wears off. Her class is very boring and the first few quizzes information are buried under a disorganized class. Don't believe the hype for the case study. She acted supper excited for a very boring company. She will also let the most boring student ask 15 questions that have no point.
I have never had a more unorganized professor before. She changed the grading system and the syllabus multiple times. She did not allow us to see our final exam score which seems unethical. Her quizzes and exams are extremely specific so extensive studying is a must. Lectures do not help with quizzes or tests. Plan on memorizing the textbook.
Feels that she's entitled to us all buying in to the huge project and making this our lives outside of school. A fake overly happy attitude that makes you roll your eyes. This class rivals the GEB classes with how unorganized it is and how unimportant it all seems.
Capstone is probably the most unorganized and chaotic UCF class in the college of business. There is clearly no communication between the two professors which leads to most classes feeling like a massive waste of time. The class is all about group projects. Better hope you get paired up with a good group. Fairly easy, just annoying.
She is extremely arrogant and ensured that the class average on the exams did not exceed a D-. Her justification for this was that "a high class average displays a lack of professionalism on my part". It's mind-blowing that a "professor" like this is allowed to teach upper level business courses.
Not someone who should be teaching upper level courses based on the lack of communication between herself and lab instructors along with the overall confusion this course involves. Spending hours studying for tests based on broad and mostly irrelevant topics was not how I assumed my final semester would be spent, but unfortunately that was the case
I wish we had a choice on professors for the lecture. She is way too over-the-top and tries to use inappropriate jokes and lewd language to "connect" with students. It's embarrassing and is completely unnecessary. The tests have ZERO relevance to what's being taught in the labs and is clearly reflected in the abysmal lecture grade average. -100/10
If you're looking for a professor who will make you question your entire existence as a student at UCF, Dr. Main is the one for you! She deserves a 0/5. By far the most unorganized course I've taken in the entirety of my college career. Extremely unprofessional, talks down to her students, exams are horribly written. Save yourself the frustration!!
She ties with Lonny for being the most arrogant, condescending, and rude lecturer at UCF. I genuinely do not understand how professors like them can get through the screening process. If there is ever a choice to take another professor in the future, don't hesitate for a single second.
Dr. Main was a good professor. I took her for MAN4720 which is the hardest core class in COB. My lab instructor was horrible, and I believe that Lonny Butcher being a lab instructor is the root of most problems with this class. But Dr. Main made changes to the coursework based on feedback and provided a LOT of extra credit. overall pretty awesome.
After the botched midterm exam with an average in the low 60s, she swore that the final would be easier. Nope. She instead increased the number of answer choices from 4 to 5 and then made the last question a survey about how much we enjoyed the class. By far the most ridiculous class I've ever taken.
Dr. Main is great for Conflict resolution & Negotiation. The way she conducted her classes was really engaging and fun. Class is 3 hrs but consisted of quiz, role-play, lecture, and an activity. Only tests were midterm and final exam. Quizzes are difficult but not impossible. She also gave extra credit and made changes to class based on feedback.
She is incredibly rude and self-centered. The class is very unorganized and her tests are horribly written. A 3 point curve to bump the average test grade from a 60 to a 63 is NOT enough. A disturbingly large percentage of the class is going to end up delaying their graduation a semester because of her pride.
Half the class failed and now we have to waste another semester to graduate because she made the tests too difficult. I'm just going to wait until they offer another professor.
I thought Dr. Main's lectures were interesting. So far as long as you pay attention in class and actually do the readings and watch the videos; you'll get good grades on the quizzes.
Good elective not too difficult just be ready to show up to class and be engaging. Dr. Main is a nice professor very professional.
Great professor just make sure to study a lot especially key terms for the test prepare well for negotiations as each class has one and after class there is a reflection due
Very positive attitude. Be prepared to read a lot. Definitely try to avoid taking class over a Summer A or B. It's too little time to learn too much info. The assignments are fairly easy and straightforward.
This review is for MAN 6448. This is a graduate level course, you have to put the time in if you want to get an A. Dr. Main is very engaging. The content is interesting. Be prepared to write. If you follow the rubrics, you will do fine. The negotiations are fun and much easier than I anticipated.
You will work for your grade. She makes her expectations and rubrics really clear and allows you to work for whatever grade you wish to receive. Although her class is one of the harder classes I've taken, the feeling of accomplishment at the end of the course is like no other. Dr. Main will push you outside of your comfort zone, but it's worth it.
I really enjoyed the class. There's a lot of assignments and a lot to read. Prof. Main is great is cool and fun.
Dr. Main presented the information animatedly and was open to student feedback. ALOT of reading to understand the skills needed to practice and apply them in class. I did not like the exam, b/c even w/a good study guide, I still did bad. She does provide ample opportunities for EC during the course. It helps you retain the course materials as well.
This is the second class I have take with Dr. Main during the MBA program. I love her lectures and she is a really cool professor. She is definitely my favorite professor at UCF. This class was a lot of work for a six week class and we had about 4 assignments due every week. We also had negotiations in class every week which were fun but scary.
Dr. Main is a great professor. You have 6 quizzes and two exams. Negotiations are so fun, so be ready to participate in class. The reflections are self-explanatory 500 words per negotiation. Make sure you can attend every class because it could quickly drop you by a whole letter grade.
Professor Main is a great lecturer. The class is during the summer and is short. There are a lot of assignments, but they are easy to follow. She listens to our concerns and suggestions. There are six quizzes and two exams (a midterm and a final), which are not bad if you study and attend class.
Amanda Main is a great professor and you can tell that she genuinely cares about her students. This is the second MBA course that I have taken with Doctor Main, and I would easily have her as a professor again. All of the class materials are provided, so you do not have to buy a textbook. The workload is manageable. I received an A in both classes.
Dr. Main is an absolutely amazing professor! The class structure has 6 quizzes and 2 exams. Negotiations are interesting and lectures are super useful and quick going. Be prepared to participate!
Great professor who has a great passion for the material she teaches. Dr. Main keeps the class interesting with a combination of lectures & activities while making sure everything is relevant to the course.
One of the best lecturers I've had in my college career. Lots of homework and readings but the content is useful. Great class overall.
She is extremely fair in her grading and her expectations. Complete all the feedback. Study for the exam. Complete the extra credit. Listen during the lectures. She knows her stuff and she is very approachable. If you have any questions make sure you meet with her.
Tough but rewarding. I took the class in summer A and it was an hard with class with the accelerated pace. Do not take the class if you are not prepared to do study 10+ hours per week doing hw/studying. Would take the class again if I had a choice, amazing teacher that really cares.
For reference - Dr. Main took a challenging 13-week course and shrunk it into a 6-week Summer A schedule. This class is heavy on reading and assignments, but the in-class negotiations are the best part of the class. The tests are challenging but she weighs them appropriately given the overall course. I'm sure the full-length course is great!
Dr. Main is a great professor. There is a lot to read but the lectures are interesting and useful. She is a fair grader and offers extra credit.
Not an easy class, but a fun class. Provides real-world tools to become successful leaders. Business classes can be sterile with theory without application. This class was the best of both worlds. Time management is key-you reap what you sow. A great class to solidify who you are as a person and leader. Makes you delve into the why of actions.
Professor Amanda Main is the most caring, amazing, and sweetest professor ever, working with you to ensure you succeed. This doesn't mean it's a free A. You have to put in the work and read the material and study! Put in just as much work as she does into the class and you'll love every moment of it. Never enjoyed a class as much as this.
Professor Amanda Main is the most caring, amazing, and sweetest professor ever, working with you to ensure you succeed. This doesn't mean it's a free A. Study and participate in the lectures and it'll be rewarding.
I really enjoyed Dr. Main's class. I took the course over the summer, and I never thought I would make it through a four hour class without falling asleep. Dr. Main does a great job keeping the content interesting and engaging, and she's got a great personality that makes her very accessible as a professor. Respect is instantly given- great class.
Would take another class with Dr.Main she is great! Dr. Main is an amazing professor, she is truly passionate for teaching and wants you to succeed. This class is not an easy A but it is manageable. You do have a quiz in the beginning of every class but as long as you prepare beforehand you will be fine. GO TO CLASS!
Dr. Main is a highly personable and approachable person! She provides many extra credit opportunities, which I find is rare with any college professor. Her ability to connect course concepts with real life situations is top-notch. Above all, she truly understands her students and is a true mentor!
Dr. Main is a great professor, you can tell she cares about her students when she speaks about them. Quizzes at the beginning of each class that were pretty straightforward. Read the book, listen in class, and watch the videos and you'll do fine.
Dr. Main is a great professor who truly cares about the success of her students. If you go to class and take notes on the lectures you will be fine. I would highly recommend taking her as an instructor if you want to become a better negotiator.
I have had Dr.Main for two courses now and she is a passionate, dedicated teacher who pushes her students to do their absolute best.I took her in the Summer A term for MAN 4441, course was heavy due to the 5 weeks but manageable and honestly, fun! As long as you stay on top of your readings, and watch the videos and do the homework you will be fine
She is caring and wants you to succeed! Very considerate and as long as you put in the effort she will work with you!
I think she is able to present to the class in a way that keeps everyone engaged and paying attention. I enjoyed the in class negotiations and made the long summer class durations feel shorter. I think the first week may be difficult to adjust to how the class is structured but once you figure it out, it is really simple and enjoyable.
Dr. Main was a great professor! You can tell she really cares about her students and is also very enthusiastic and loves her job. She is able to explain the art of negotiation and how to apply it to real life scenarios. You learn a lot in this class from her. If you have questions she is happy to answer and she is very responsive via email!
She is one of the most interesting and fun teachers I have had at UCF. There are a lot of assignments, and it can be hard to keep up sometimes. You do have to work hard to get a good grade. She really cares about her students, and it shows. Does a great job at getting people involved in class discussions. I loved her and definitely recommend.
First, I'd like to say that the semester hasn't ended so I haven't gotten my final grade. Also, I took it during the summer (6 weeks).Yet it was an AWESOME class. Dr. Main made it very engaging & you can clearly tell she is so passionate about teaching this class. Highly recommend taking. But taking time to study outside of class is crucial.
20+ 5 star ratings on the same day? She went from a 1.9 to a 5 in a DAY. They are all fake. She either had her TAs write them up or did it herself. Do not take her under any circumstances. The shady things she does on this site should be enough of a red flag.
Dr. Main is an excellent professor for Conflict Resolution & Negotiation. She is hilarious and charismatic. She cares a great deal about her students and always wants to see you succeed. This class isn't lecture heavy but it is participation heavy for in-class negotiations with your peers.
Dr. Main is an outstanding Conflict Resolution and Negotiation instructor. She's both funny and charming. She actually cares about her students and wishes them well. This class emphasizes reading the book as well as participation in in-class negotiations with your classmates. Awesome teacher, will definitely take her again.
Dr. Main is an excellent instructor in Conflict Resolution and Negotiation. Main made it incredibly fascinating, and you can tell she is very enthusiastic about delivering this course. Does an excellent job of involving students in class discussions. Excellent teacher; if I could, I would take her again in a heartbeat.
Very creative professor when it comes to lectures and allows the class to be engaged. Expect lots of homework assignments which are useful to prepare for negotiations. Class is not boring at all and you can expect to learn a lot of wise topics that can be applied to both work and life!
Loved this class! At the start, I was extremely intimidated. Her first assignment takes you out of your comfort zone but it was all for a purpose. I have enjoyed every class and got something out of every assignment. She made an impact on me professionally and personally. I would take her class again. Do the work and it's an easy A.
Dr. Main's way of teaching is unique. We walk into class not knowing what activity to expect, very hands-on approach. I did have a few situations were I felt like I was out of my comfort zone but this was the whole purpose of the class; to make students feel confident, try new things, learn more about themselves and slowly overcome the challenges.
Dr. Main is an awesome professor and a great addition to the UCF Management program. The level of work is tough - but the value of knowledge is worth it. Attend every class, use the book for the exams, and try on your negotiations and you will get an A. Loved this class - favorite of the whole program.
Dr. Main is great! She's very supportive and provides clear instructions. If you do an excellent job on your assignment, she will let you know, which is very encouraging. Her assignments are thorough but not too challenging. I consider myself an introvert, so the small negotiation during class was excellent practice.
nice lady but does not care about her students success at all and will never respond to your emails.
Professor Main is great! You can tell that she wants her students to learn and succeed to be the best version of themselves. I would highly recommend taking her Negotiation class.
Dr. Main truly tries to make this class fun. Her approach to negotiation is all about people. This is why class is required so that we have the opportunity to roleplay. This helps us apply the terms that we learn in the reading. It's easy to get an A-/+ in this class if you put a little effort into it. If not, then you'll get a solid B.
Dr. Main is the best! I took the Conflict Resolution and Negotiation class an a restricted elective and I'm so happy I did. She's so nice and loves teaching. There are actually a lot of assignments but as long as you complete them you'll do great in the class. We do role-play negotiations and she teaches a lot about psychology too! Take this class!
Professor Main is overall a great professor who cares a lot about her students. Her email responses are timely and helpful She only has two tests for the whole class so don't forget about them. Also, be warned when reading her ratings she does offer extra credit for rating her on here, so if the responses seem inflated, that might be why.
Dr. Main was a very personable professor and truly cares about her students. She does a hybrid class with 2 classes in a month, which was nice. She does offer extra credit at the end of the semester.
This professor has great lectures but all tests and quizzes and homework is straight from the textbook.
You know exactly what you are into on the canvas course. Most of your grade is chapter questions and a chapter quiz with other assignments sprinkled in. A midterm and a final but there are helpful flashcards for those that are useful as longas you study. The best part: Her personality. Its amazing, caring, and super fun! She also has a pet monkey!
Dr. Main has one of the best lectures from UCF! She cares about her students and wants everyone to succeed. Tests are based directly on the textbook, and there is homework every single week. Easy class, but be prepared to read!
I loved her teaching style. Dr. Main expects you to read the textbook, and her lectures are related to, but different than the content you read. She keeps her lectures light and engaging, filling them with videos, games, and interactive stories and questions. She makes a four hour class feel like not enough time, in the best way possible.
Professor Main makes her lectures exciting and definitely makes the time go by quickly. This is a class that will benefit you in real life if you put effort in and applying yourself. She is awesome and cares for her students.
20 or more 5-star reviews in one day? She grew in a DAY from a 1.9 to a 5. All of them are bSHIT. She either wrote them herself or had her TAs do it. You must not, under any circumstances, take her. She invests in suspicious activities on this website, which alone should raise a warning.
Professor Main is an amazing teacher and she wants to see you succeed. She does assign a lot of assignments and unnecessary work but honestly, if you read the textbook and do what you go to do you should be good to pass her class with a B OR C.
The best professor I have ever had at UCF. Her lectures are long yet engaging. Definitely read the textbook as her lectures will touch upon what is in the book but not go deep into all of it. She goes over all the necessities in the lecture and some. I wish I could take her in another class or take this class for longer because I love it so much!
Nothing but great things to say about this teacher, one of the best I have had at UCF. She is someone who genuinely cares and wants you to succeed and also makes her lectures fun to attend.
Dr. Main is one of the best professors I've ever had. She truly cares about the success of her students and wants us to utilize the skills and knowledge gained in the class in the real world! Be ready to step outside of your comfort zone in terms of negotiating, but this will prove to be useful to you in the future!
Professor Amanda Main is very conversational with her lectures so it doesn't feel like she's lecturing at you it more so feels like your having a conversation with her which I love! She's so sweet, funny and genuinely wants you to succeed. I really enjoyed her class!
This professor does a great job of keeping her class engaged since at times, the material can be tedious and boring. It is difficult to teach a class with this amount of content in such a short summer term, but she does a good job. My only criticisms would be that in my opinion, a lot of her points and the material taught is subjective.
I would definitely take this class again. The use of the book and the information in the readings are essential to passing the class.
Dr. Main has by far been one of the best professor there is so much you learn than just simply how to negotiate, you'll learn how to really converse and to think outside of the box. I recommend reading the book and actually understand the lectures.
Most classes are interactive. She gives a lot of opportunities to do good in the class...Take them
Dr. Main was one of the final professors I had at UCF for my MBA. She's meme-heavy, doesn't take class too seriously, and breaks up class in lectures, assignments, group activities, etc. I absolutely loved her class and it was such an ease. Lots of work and assignments but not too heavy. One of UCF's treasures and would most definitely take again!
Great professor. I would really advise to read the book and take notes on the vocabulary. There is a chapter quiz almost every class. I would also suggest preparing to negotiate with peers in the classroom. Overall, a great experience. Very straight forward class, midterm and final. Study guide provided. Busy work but helpful.
Overall a really great professor! I would say definitely prepare yourself for the negotiations and try hard with them. The concepts you learn in this class are ones you will carry with you the rest of your life! Study hard for the quizzes, you do get to have a notecard for them! The test isn't too bad, just read the book to prepare for it.
Dr.Main was an amazing professor who made the class very engaging and interesting. I learned alot in this class that I feel will actually be useful when I graduate. Overall, I highly recommend taking Dr.Main you will enjoy your time in here class while learning useful information.
Dr. Main was one of my favorite professors at UCF! Would 100% recommend taking one of her classes, her lectures are engaging and meaningful. If you read the textbook and prepare for the in-class negotiations, you'll pass with an A no problem.
Lectures are long, but Dr. Main tried her best to keep it interesting and engaging. The quizzes asked very detailed questions so make sure to read the book really well.
This was a very engaging class and useful in the real world. Professor Main was very caring, as she actually wanted us to improve over the semester. Study for the quizzes and you will do fine.
Awesome professor! Class made up of negotiating activities, chapters readings, and fun lectures. Very important for you to do the chapter readings(it is not that bad). Do the study guides she gives you and you will be fine! Overall fun class
Great professor. She really cares that we learn the information and challenge ourselves. . The class isn't hard to pass and it isn't hard material but she will challenge you to be a better negotiator which can be scary but it will help you in the end.
There are many checks and balances in the class that will keep you on your toes if you are striving to get a good grade. It's doable, just have to make sure to pay attention to the assignment instructions and read the book thoroughly.
Dr. Main is a great professor. Class is always fun and informative. The only nitpick is that sometimes the psychological analysis can seem a bit far-fetched with the "you should bring the person you're negotiating with to an Italian restaurant because they'll feel vulnerable" but that could just be the skeptic in me.
Dr. Main is an amazing professor. Study guides are very similar to exams. Barley any homework and the homework is actually useful but easy to complete. Very interactive and fun in class. The hardest part is bi-weekly in class negotiations but they are honestly super easy and informative. I would most definitely take her again if I had the chance.
Professor Main is the BEST professor I've ever had. Super funny and engaging and makes her class lectures very interesting. She has in-class negotiations which seem intimidating but were actually very easy and fun. Bi-weekly quizzes and you can bring a notecard. Midterm and final exam is easy as long as you study her lectures. Definitely take her!!
Dr Main is very passionate about the subject she teaches and she shows it. She also gives you plenty of opportunities to make up for failed attempts at assignments. That being said, the material is intensive and requires thorough study sessions.
Dr. Main was a caring professor who had great knowledge of negotiation. Her classes were engaging and fun. Her exams were full of a lot of info. Notes from the book is needed as the quizzes are on that information.
Awesome Professor! Highly recommend this class!
Dr. Main is so nice and obviously cares about her students. She has an amazing passion and drive for conflict resolution and tries to make it as interesting and interactive as possible. Definitely take her, you'll be in good hands! I don't think I have had a professor even attempt to listen to us more.
Dr. Main is one of the best professors I've had at UCF, she genuinely loves what she teaches, wants to help students, and her classes are interesting and fun. The tests aren't bad just make sure you study the quizzes and the study guide. The hardest part is the negotiations but they're not that bad just make sure you know your role. Overall 10/10.
Dr.Main is truly a great instructor! She wants students to strive to earn a good grade in her class, but more importantly she wants you to truly learn and improve your own skills. In this class you learn how to negotiate, work with others, see things from another perspective, etc.! Take the class, and make sure to show up!
Naturally I wanted to cry about this class. However, this professor truly cares for her students and their well-being on top of anything. I did not like doing the negotiations because again introvert here but they are literally what she tells you they are going to be. No surprises and if there is ever a surprise it's because it's for your benefit!
Dr Main was awesome and I thoroughly enjoyed her class. It may be uncomfortable to do the negotiations but this is one of the only classes I have actually learned valuable information. Definitely recommend!!
Dr. Main is a professor who genuinely care about her students. From the first day of class to our last, she showed how much she cared for us and our learning. Her teaching style made it easy to feel engaged and motivated to participate. Overall, a great professor and a great class!
Dr. Main is willing to help any student with her material in the class. In addition, she tries to apply the material to the real world as it is a pretty important class. Overall, be prepared to read the textbook weekly and go into class asking questions. She does care about all of her students doing the best that they can.
Dr. Main is a great professor! Really enjoyed her class and would recommend it. Quizzes are a bit hard but the negotiation activities are very helpful and fun.
Dr. Main is a professor who really cares about her students. The classwork/homework she assigns is all for a reason although it may seem like a lot, they were all beneficial. The exams were based off the textbook. I really enjoyed the interactive class activities and her negotiations were super interesting and I learned a lot in this class!
The quizzes are hard, but if you read the textbook it helps a lot. The negotiations are not as bad as they sound. She is a very helpful teacher and wants everyone to do there best, so if you put in enough effort you will get the grade that you want.
Dr.Main is a highly educated and motivational educator. In my 4 years at UCF, I can count on one hand how many professors actually cared about their student's education and didn't make them feel like a number and Dr.Main exceeds any criteria in how much value, care, and respect she brings to her students. Don't fret,YOU'RE IN GR8 HANDS!- 2024 Grad
Take this class in the summer if you can! I'm sure it is easy enough in a full-length semester too, but taking this in the summer was an amazing decision. Just read the textbook, show up to class, and you'll be set. She is the easiest professor you could ever imagine. She offers plenty of extra credit, but you honestly shouldn't even need it.
Dr. Main was the most personable professor while still being incredibly professional. I felt very respected as one of her students and almost regret taking it in summer since we have so few classes.
Dr. Main was such a caring professor and like another review had mentioned, I wish I took her in the spring/fall because I did not want the class to be over. She provides study guides that aligns with the textbook and exams were not overly difficult. Her lectures were great just a bit inconsistent.
Dr. Main is just amazing! One of the best professors I've had at UCF. Heavy on lectures, but they are great and teach you a lot. Every class we have one a one negotiations, a way for you to practice the content. She is loving and cares about her students. A lot of reading. Definitely take this class with Dr. Main.
Dr. Main is a very understanding and caring professor. She actually wants to get to know all of her students and wants them to succeed. the class can be a little bit intimidating at first but if you try, she is willing to try with you. Amazing prof, 10/10 would take again. Great lessons that are actually beneficial after you leave the classroom.
Dr. Main is an amazing caring professor! Lectures are super interesting and the role plays will truly get you out of your comfort zone. I learned so much over 6 weeks and I highly recommend her for MAN 4441!!
She really is amazing, you wont regret taking her 6 week class in the summer- the first two weeks can be intense- but its laid back from there- she is a great prof and you don't feel ridiculously overwhelmed. Would 1000% take again- Main if you're reading this you deserve a trophy for being the most understanding, caring, and patient professor ever
I like Dr. Main and she does care about her class and will work with you, but there are a decent amount of in-person quizzes and might get uncomfy for people who don't like getting out of their comfort zone when it comes to negotiating.
Dr. Main's class is great! The information taught in lectures can be used in day-to-day life and she makes it fun and interesting. Be sure to read the textbook each week and come prepared for the role plays. Would definitely take another class with her!
Every single class was very engaging and there was always some fun new video or activity that we were doing. She is very helpful and understanding when needed. I enjoyed going to her class and wish it did not end.
Dr. Main is one of the best professors I've had at UCF. She is super caring and very down to earth. Her lectures are interesting and very engaging. Study her quizzes for the exams, they are very helpful. Overall, would definitely take her again.
Dr. Main is an overall great person, her class is interesting and many of her assignments involved partnering up with someone to negotiate with or do other in class activities. Another thing is that you better be prepared to read the textbook because those in class quizzes will be heavily based off the textbook so try not to miss a class.
Dr.Main is caring, funny, and an amazing professor. Her lectures are interesting and you actually use what she teaches in class. Interesting material, and study guides for exams. Quizzes are in person so attendance is mandatory.
The best recommendation I have is to leave your ego at the door. You may have preconceived notions based on the title of the class but I assure you it is worth it if you keep an open mind. Dr. Main is inspirational, funny, and engaging. I haven't found another professor at UCF who gives as mindful of feedback and truly cares about each student.
Professor Main was amazing. She was so fun to listen to and although you do have to put in effort to receive a good grade, her class is very useful and you will learn a lot of valuable information. You will be pushed outside of your comfort zone, but it is rewarding.
This professor is amazing. Make sure to read the chapters for the quizzes and notes because her lectures are so engaging you might forget to take any. One of the best classes I've ever taken! Have fun!
Dr. Main is by far one of the most influential professors I've ever taken. If you aspire to even have a career, take her! Be prepared, her weekly quizzes arent easy. Her lectures are extremely engaging, but make sure you take notes. One of the few professors who truly cares about her students. I could NOT recommend her enough.
Overall a pretty chill class! I was super nervous at first for the negotiations but Dr. Main made the class enjoyable and the negotiations were not bad at all as we were able to pre prep before going in.
Dr. Main is an amazing professor who really cares about her students. The class is manageable, especially with the help of tools like Unstuck study for study prep. I highly recommend taking it with her.
This professor is amazing. The 3 hour lectures suck but she makes it engaging and gives breaks. 1 quiz every class but they are super easy. The exams are easy if you pay attention in class and you learn a lot in class that you can use after the class. It actually helps prepare you for the future and she's actually keeps it real and doesn't bs.
Dr. Main has been my favorite professor at UCF by far. She is extremely intelligent and caring for her students, making lectures fun yet informative. There is a quiz every class so make sure you are paying attention in lectures and reading the textbook. The negotiations are easy and fun to do. Dr. Main is hilarious and cares a lot for students.
Dr Main is one of the best professors I've had at UCF. Not only is she hilarious but she knows her stuff. She wants all her students to pass and gives great feedback on all assignments. Class is mandatory but is not every week. You won't regret taking this icons class!
Her teaching style is very engaging and funny, and her ability to convey the material clearly really shines through while still making it engaging and interesting for the students. Make sure you know key terms from the class and it should be relatively easy.
Enjoyed her class!
She was way more lenient than she needed to be because she prioritized student success in the class and life above everything else.
Professor Main is an awesome professor in my opinion. She makes class fun and i recommend her. She does like participation and will not let the class leave unless someone participates. The only think I didn't like is that she is a tough grader on the role play preparations but doesn't give the specific instructions on how she wants it.
I love Professor main and I would take her class again! She is fun and engaging. You won't be allowed to leave unless someone participates though. The only thing I didn't like was that shes a tough grader on the negotiation preparation, she wants specific info on it but doesn't clarify beforehand. Other than that I recommend she gives extra credit!
She is genuinely one of the best in the Management Department. I would 1000% take her again. She is super understanding, sweet, genuine, funny, cheerful, and loving. Don't even think twice.
Dr. Main is one of the best professors in the CoBA. Her lectures are engaging and informative. She obviously cares about her students and her material. I would absolutely take her class again. I wish more management teachers were like her.
Dr. Amanda is a great professor, she has very engaging lectures and show that she really cares about her students. I would definitely take her again, and if you put effort to understand the material you will do well in her class.
