Ms. Myers is the best English teacher I've had. She helps me with my comp II essays and I don't even have her now. She keeps class interesting and has a great sense of humor, while also making the material understandable. I wish she taught my comp II class.Highly recommended.

I loved her class! She was very organized and willing to help in any way she could. She definitely went the extra mile. Her assignments were always clearly explained and she was very approachable if we needed any help.

She is hands down my favorite teacher I have had so far! She is very passionate about reading and her subject, she keeps class interesting which keeps you WANTING to attend each class! She is super helpful and will guide you throughout the semester to write an A paper everytime. Also, she is freaking HILARIOUS! Must take her!!

My first C...... ): She would not add points to my 78. Therefore I am having to retake the class. I had her for Comp I, II, and Brit Lit. She gave a TON of pop quizzes over the reading. Comp I she graded generously, but got harsher in Comp II and Brit Lit. She is hilarious and entertaining. Good teacher but you HAVE to bust your butt for an A.

She is an AMAZING teacher! She is the reason I changed my major to English. Yes, you do have to read ALL assignments, but if you participate in class and actualyhae an opinion on things, she will love you. She's also hilarious and can explain stories in ways you never thought. Loved her!

She is a great teacher! Very helpful, you were required to come to class because there are daily grades. Fun class and fun assignments. She loves teaching and wants her students to succeed! I 100% recommend her and wish she was teaching 1302 next semester!

The best English class I've had. Some assignments can seem like busy work, but you actually learn a lot about literature and seeing text differently. Read the assigned story, as there will be a quiz the next day; perfect mix of difficulty and great interest. I got an A.

I loved this course. She is a great teacher who loves what she does and it is reflected in her interaction with her students. You have to be willing to do the work. Come to class, read the assignments, put on your thinking cap, ask questions, and you should do well in this course.

She is an excellent teacher. I truly enjoyed this class. As long as you are willing to work you will have no issues in this course. Be prepared to think beyond what is written. She is very helpful and wants you to succeed. If you have the opportunity to take one of her courses go for it without hesitation.

EASY A! EASY A! EASY A! WITH EXTRA CREDIT. If you do your work, there is NO WAY you will not pass. I passed with a high A, and I sucked at English. So unbelievably EASY. On top of it, she's a really funny, cool prof.

English Composition 2 is not an easy class. There is a LOT of reading. But Ms Myers go through every line of every story with you! She gives you her interpretation and NEVER shuts down your ideas, even if they make no sense haha. She is professional but still funny and helpful. She makes the reading and essays worth it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Ms. Myers was an excellent professor. This was my second time taking this class. All the short stories and poetry we read were really great. She's pretty laid back and funny. I'd definitely take this class again.

Professor Myers is a an amazing professor. She really wants her students to succeed. She gives pop quizzes but they are easy if you read the stories and show up to class. She is available during her office hours and if that doesn't work for you she is willing to work with you. She grades fairly and gives great feedback. Take her!!

Best English course I've taken. She is an amazing story teller/narrator. Always goes over stories and breaks them down. Poo quizzes are super easy if you read when you're supposed to. 2 tests 3Essays all super easy if you just go to class and read the stories. Stories we all good not boring. She wants her students to succeed and will help you.

Get ready to write, A LOT! Her classes are wonderful, very interactive and very fun. I got an A, but I wouldn't call it an easy A, as we had a lot of writing projects. She'll work with you and give extra credit. Did I say you'll write a lot?

I wasn't supposed to have Ms. Myers but I'm glad I did. She was clear and to the point. Just read the homework she gives you, show up to class and you will be fine. One of the best professors - bar none. Straight forward & honest about her expectations of her students and what it takes to succeed in her class. You WILL learn about literature and writing, and you will have fun in the process. Her lectures are more than just about the literature. She teaches you about life as well through her assignments.

If you do not take her, then It is the biggest mistake for your life. She is wonderful!!!

Ms. Myers grades very easy. We did a total of 8 essays. You can re-write any of your essays, except for the final research essay. She corrects your papers herself so all you have to do is make the corrections shes made. She will work and help you if you struggle in citation, essay topic, etc. She is also really funny and is a great story teller.

Professor Myers is absolutely amazing! She gives multiple papers, yet they are easy A's as long as you try your best. She does give rewrites and she gives great examples to what she truly wants. She is funny and makes it fun to be in class.

Ms. Myers is great teacher. I am not a great write myself but she gives outlines of exactly what she wants for her assignment. You cannot miss class though, each class is very important. Ms. Myers is one of the best English teachers I've had.

Amanda is an awesome teacher and has been really helping me to be successful in this class. She may seem/be grumpy at times, but is mostly likely to help, such as check your paper before turning in. The reading for this class isn't easy and took a lot of reading, analyzing and writing to get the A I got. There will be 3 extra credit towards the end

Ms. Myers is an awesome teacher. I learned so much in her class, and I would take her again. She sticks to the syllabus, there are no surprises, and shes very hands on with her teaching. Shes a cool person, and it really helps when it comes to teaching her students because she is so much easier to talk to and really understand

You can find most of the stories online. Teacher is very inspirational in her lectures and wants you to be interactive. She is very great at knowing when to help further explain a concept. She works with you on the papers and allows you to always bring them to her for edits. Great teacher.

Funny and engaging. She will walk you through every story and poem that she expects you to know. You must attend class, not only for the information, but because she does not appreciate excessive absences, lateness, or leaving early. If you show up and do the work, you will be fine. Does not like excuses.

I LOVED this class and I loved Prof. Myers even more! She was so nice and always willing to help you better your grade. The class was a nice in between of her interesting lectures and daily projects/time to work on projects or essays. I would DEFINITELY take her again.

I have been out of school for many years... I love her. She takes you through the story teaches you with patience. I now have the confidence to write papers. I will be taking her for all of my English credits. Doesn't believe in making you buy a textbook and provides you with a detailed course material. TAKE HER you wont regret it!!!!

I have always struggled in English but I have passed her class with flying colors with an A. She gives assignments that help you break a story down where it is easy to understand. She is funny and she makes the class very interesting. She gives you real good feed back. She is a definite take for sure. You will not regret easy A and no book.

Great teacher, lots of reading but she explains all the pieces very well! Plenty of work and assignments for this course including papers, I would consider this a heavy load for an English class. Attendance is important because of the quizzes she gives in class that cant be made up. And not all the reading material is fun to read, very weird

I took Ms. Myers for both Comp I and Comp II. SHE IS MY FAV PROFESSOR EVER. She is a funny but serious teacher who makes English fun, I loved Comp I & II anyways because I love writing. But she has helped me so much with my writing skills and made me love reading anymore. You do have to work for your grade, but I promise you wont be disappointed!

If youre going to take her class, youre going to have so much fun. The only thing that really needs saying is DO THE WORK. Other than that, participate. Its fun. Shes entertaining and has tons of stories. Ask her about Czech Republic.

She's a great teacher. I truly loved her class because she made class so much fun and was amazing at giving clear instruction/expectations. She also gives great feedback and helps you become more open minded with writing and gives you time to improve instead of being so tough on grading. She's also very approachable and is not intimidating.

She is a tough grader, but I learned to really appreciate this because it pushed me to learn a lot! No matter what level you are at, she will make sure you walk away from the class having actually learned something.

Amanda Myers is one of the absolute BEST professors you could ever have. I took her for Eng1301 & 1302. I don't like Eng/comp at all but I made a 97 in her class because she is an easy/fair grader who sets you up for success. She is hilarious and A LOT of fun to listen. She is somebody you'll wish you could hangout with outside of class. TAKE HER!

Mrs Myers is an incredible professor that will inevitably make you a better writer. She has very clear expectations for the assignments and creates an inviting class environment for deep discussion. Mrs. Myers is amazing teacher. Explain what you need to do thoroughly for the class. She gives a feedback. Yes there are a lot of papers due in this class, but she really like to help you in your assignments. You do not to get a book. Easy A. I get B+ because I missed the final that was my mistake.

She gives three essays, and a few other assignments but I recommend her for English comp 1! You get work but it isn't that hard as long as you follow the guidelines. She's extremely helpful as long as you go to her during office hours she will help you, in fact, she'll guide you. One of the best English professors I've ever taken!

Love Mrs. Myers! Great professor that cares a lot. Make sure to be at class to do the short assignments because they're entered in as quiz grades. If you miss you get an automatic zero for the quiz grade and that starts to add up. Great teacher and always willing to help! If i had to take a Comp II class I would definitely take her again!.

Mrs. Brotherton is passionate about what she does and inspires her students to read between the lines. She gives detailed explanations and provides all the necessary tools to complete class tasks. Your effort in her class always merits a reward that is bigger than just an A.

I LOVE Professor Brotherton, Very easy A. Show up and ask questions if you don't understand and she'll make it very clear for you! She cares about her students this isn't just a job for her! Her feedback is amazing! Highly recommend taking her, you'll enjoy the class for sure.

My favorite professor. I have taken Mrs. Brotherton-Myers for comp 1, comp 2, and creative writing. I received As in all three classes. She gives amazing feedback on assignments and is a very generous grader. You don't have to love English to love this class. I HIGHLY Recommend taking her.

Online class. Due dates are clear (no late work) and she provides clear instructions and examples for assignments. She is very helpful, so contact her or get help from the writing lab if you struggle with writing. Don't procrastinate on assignments. This is not a hard class if you are good at writing.

The assignments were easy and if you completed them while meeting guidelines, you're going to get an A. I took her for dual and was given the opportunity to do extra credit for ENGL1302 but not ENGL1301. Best English teacher i've had! No books to read, just short stories and poems.

I cannot stress enough how she is THE best professor. She is truly life changing and passionate towards her students. She also adds humor into her teaching. If I could take her for all of my classes, I definitely would.

Literally the most amazing woman ever. 11/10. She is so helpful and genuinely cares about you. She is super funny, laidback, and cool. You don't have to buy any books. Tests are hard but she does a good job preparing you for them. Overall, loved her and miss her dearly.

The grading criteria is clear, and the feedback is really helpful. The class requires engagement, but the topics are interesting. There are no big tests, just a few short quizzes that are easy if you read the material (which is always brief). I love that she provides essay samples to show how our work should look. Amazing teacher! Recommend.

Such a sweet lady, she tells stories in such a passionate way you can tell she loves the readings. Shes an easy grader and assignments are not bad, quizzes over the reading just to prove youve read them a couple essays and a presentation at the end of the year.
