Very sweet, cares a lot not just about the course but about her students. She makes a point to make sure everyone is on the same page. There was no text required for the class, she gives you everything you need. You write like 5 or 6 papers through out the class and the analyzie 4 movies and write papers on them! It's super easy!!

Ms. Wazwaz is probably the nicest teacher that I have ever had!! I love her compassion about Literature. Her classes and quizes aren't that hard if you read the books. The projects at the end of each book are a bit lengthy. but it's well worth ever minute.

The coarse load may seem a lot of we ended up not doing most of the things/homeworks she listed in the syllabus. I took her online COM 102 class and had to drop right before the drop date this semester because her essays are so hard to write because of the topics. She gives you topics for your 4 papers and they are on things that are very hard to write a research paper on.

Overall, African American Lit, it's a great class. You discuss some pretty deep and controversial topics, so don't take it if you're sensitive to that sort of thing. Amani will make sure you pass, she's always offering to help and guide you any way you may need it. Only one essay. Weekly 5-10 question quizzes based on readings. Nothing hard.

Took her for com101 wanted to take her again for com102 but schedule didn't fit in mine. so I took her for lit226, lots of reading, one analysis paper. Make sure you read the novels because there is a quiz almost every class. Very enjoyable! She gives background info on each culture of the book we read! I loved it! Great teacher! Very sweet.

Professor Wazwaz is one of the best COM teachers. Four papers during the semester, and she gives you so much time to work on them. A lot of homework but all of the homework helped writing the essays 10x easier.

mainly discussion posts and responding to your peers which is fascinating! requires a lot of reading but it's not that intense. take notes as you are reading so you won't forget what the story or novel is about. the books are cheap between one dollar to ten dollars. I'm learning quite a lot in this class.

Good teacher she will teach how to properly do citations. Lots of assignments like read this chapter and then give a response to it. Very liberal but its fine. Like the essays are gonna be about things like climate change/the pandemic and stuff so if you don't care about that pretend too on your essays and you will do good.

she wants you to pass, she is always there for her students. she is such an amazing human being and is respectful and caring towards her students. she becomes concerned for you if you seem off or if you're not academically motivated like before. will excuse you from class if anything occurs. amazing professor! she is just too kind for this world

If I can write 1 million reasons why you should take Amani Wazwaz, I would. Amani Wazwaz is one of a kind. She is the most caring and nicest com professor I met. She gives amazing detailed feedback. She grades fair. She is always there to help you. I've learned so much from her class that helped me become a better writer. She is very understanding.

Professor Wazwaz is the best professor ever. She cares about her students, she also gives great feedback.

Amazing professor!

The most genuine, respectful, and thoughtful professor. She has a very detailed criteria for every assignment. Her grading rubric is straightforward. She answers her emails really fast. Gives great feedback to students. Following her feedbacks made me show progress in class. Overall, she has impeccable manners. I would not miss taking her classes.

I was about to drop the class, but because of Prof. Wazwaz's encouragement and understanding she was very cooperative and inspirational, So I decided to not drop, and I ended up getting an A grade

Ms. Amani is such a nice teacher who deserves her flowers! She literally goes out her way for her students and is so kind. I am not a big fan of reading, and this class was somewhat challenging for me, but her coursework is not that bad! She also did not force me to talk in class discussions. I would def take her again. She's so passionate.

My favorite class at Moraine! She is an excellent professor, and the format of the class is set up well. I really appreciate that we can always stay on task while having fun, interesting, and thought provoking discussions about the books we read in this class. I highly recommend taking one of her classes, & I would take again! Just do the reading!

Stellar teacher! She's so kind, caring, and overall an inspiration. She takes the time to get to know her students. The class is set up to talk with each other about what the reading was, so it's easy to stay on the path. There's a quiz and reflection each week, and one major paper. If literature is your thing, Amani is a great teacher for you!

I LOVEEE Dr. Wazwaz, both as a professor and a person. She genuinely cares about all the students and brings everyone together in class. You do have to read, but everyone does it bc we're excited to participate in group discussions. You do have to participate in this class, but trust me you'll want to bc she makes it so engaging. gives so much homework! i took her LIT217 (there no option for the class on here) there was homework every other day. It's alot of discussion boards, and reading. It was pretty easy if you don't mind writing a few paragraphs. Can be a picky grader, gives feedback and will reach out if you don't submit an assignment. Kinda confusing cavas layout

I took her for both COM 101 and 102. Don't take her if you're not willing to put in a good amount of effort every week. There's a lot of discussion boards and homework throughout the week. She gives really good feedback and clearly wants to see her students progress. She's so sweet but quite picky with her grading. Take her if you're a hard worker!

Easy class, all online, as long as you put in the work, and show care for the class, you will do just fine.

If there is good in this world, just know Professor Wazwaz is a huge part of it. She genuinely is such a amazing, caring, heartwarming person. She will make sure your getting the help you need and she makes her class genuinely a breath of fresh air. Professor Wazwaz is an excellent instructor. Her course has a good balance of difficulty and helpfulness. The class utilizes Unstuck ai, which is a valuable study tool alongside the textbook. Expect to be engaged, but fair grading.

I took a 3-week summer course so the workload was heavy with assignments, drafts, and essays due each week but overall was nice and supportive, I recommend taking her class!

guys istg shes literally the best. i never thought i would like reading, but her class is so good. Even if you dont like reading easy A class. Need an easy class take this. Shes really the best. Love this class love her, shes awesome. Kind of cringy and corky but so worth it.

She is the best teacher I've ever had. You can tell she knows literature, and the way she teaches it is amazing. Hilarious, loving, and genuinely loves to show up to class everyday. She made my last semester at Moraine amazing, and I cannot praise her enough. You read a lot, but she makes it so engaging!! TAKE HER! YOU WON'T REGRET ANY OF IT!

Nice teacher and nice class. Online is a bit annoying since you have to use honorlock for the multiple choice quizzes but the papers are not too bad you get pretty much a week to do them each and have clear criteria. she gives really good feedback too

Professor Wazwaz is probably the most caring professor at Moraine and it's a blessing she still teaches with such kindness. Her feedback is unmatched, her energy is motivating and she is everything good about the faculty at this school. Take this class over summer and online for an easy A if you put in a decent amount of work. I love her

I took Professor Wazwaz's class online and usually I don't build relationships that way, but with her I did. She was so supportive and understanding. If she notices that you're trying she gives you credit and takes it into consideration. If you're thinking about taking her DO IT. She's so amazing and I'm glad I chose her as my professor.

I took the online class and she's absolutely amazing, super understanding and a very fair grader, gives extra credit, she has very clear videos for MLA citations and just over all the best and you will learn a lot. If you don't like your grade just talk to her!! Communication is key!

She is a great professor and one of the nicest people you could ever meet. No exaggerating, she was wonderful. She takes the time to make sure everyone understands and she will even stay after class to explain it to you more if you still need help. In the class we did write a lot but honestly it was bearable. Take her, she's so sweet and smart.

Loved her! Very sweet and understanding. I took the class online and it was very organized and directions for assignments were detailed and clear. Lots of reading throughout the semester. She does use honorlock but the exams are mostly multiple choice and the study guides are a great way to prepare for the exams. Definitely take her!
