Professor Sehgal was THE BEST professor I've ever had! Came into class struggling with Math and doubting if it was for me, but she explained everything in such a clear and direct manner. She's super knowledgeable and uses super helpful interactive group activities. She was always available for office hours to help me too. I highly recommend her!

Professor Sehgal is an amazing teacher , she cares for her students and always makes sure the students understand. I am an international student (english is my 2nd language),I took a fast-paced summer Mat150 class (1.5 months), and I can say she is one of the best math teacher I have had in a while.

Professor Sehgal was very helpful and patient with her students. I took an accelerated summer class. She was clear and precise in the lectures and captured all the ways one might learn with incorporating group work, peer teaching, daily "quizzes" as refreshers, partnering up and peer reviews. Take her class! A+ to her.

Best teacher I've ever had

There's about 2-3 homework assignments a week. It's nothing too difficult. There is short videos attached that show how to solve similar problems which is very helpful if u need that extra help or are stuck on a question. In class Mrs. Sehgal is very clear and goes out of her way to break a problem down if further explanation is required.

Very easy to work with. Very understanding with situations that occur outside the classroom. Overall a good professor.

She goes very fast, but teaches in a way so that non-engineer students can grasp the concepts. You will have to use an ipad and download onenote. If you stay ontop of homework + participate alot then you will pass. Homework should take ~2 hours if you want to understand it.

Professor Sehgal is a great professor that emphasizes group work and group activities. she also does not go too fast and gives you a ton of extra credit opportunities. It is hard to fail this course if you do all the extra credit.

A great experience. She goes through a lot of the material in multiple ways and always gives students the opportunity to ask questions. If you aren't confident in the material, she allows you to come in during office hours or to see her embedded tutor. A well-balanced class grades-wise with extra credit opportunities and a lot of help available.

Wonderful teaching method. Uses great online resources that make homework and notes easy. She was also very understanding for my many absences. She is a wonderful professor and made a difficult subject more enjoyable.

It's very important to keep up with your work and ask questions in this class. We use an online class notebook which is very helpful. She is very understandable so if you have a problem don't be afraid to ask.

Amanpreet Sehgal is an extent teacher; she is always willing to assist with test reviews, and she gives a note card on the test.

Practice and tedious studying are extremely important. Professor lays the information out very nice for us, but it is on us to make sure we make enough time to practice and go over the course work. Lots of homework in the textbook, but it is honestly worth it for the practice.

Did very well at keeping class content aligned with test material. Do homework early to be prepared for pop quizzes. Home is unfortunately mandatory but is not to hard because she will never assign something she has not taught. Offered extra credit for study session with imbedded tutor.

Professor Sehgal is a great instructor for MAT 187 and highly recommend taking her class. Professor Sehgal uses great techniques for her students to properly understand criteria with quizzes,HW (pearson), group activities, and even allows a notecard with formulas on her exams as well as ample amounts of extra credit opportunities. highly recommend.

Make sure to take all notes in lecture even if you don't understand it, so you can look back on it to eventually understand.

This professor is notes heavy in lecture but it will benefit you to write them down and study them. Is very knowledgeable on the class subject and always open to questions.

Professor Seghal is a great professor for Precalculus. She helped pass my MAT187 class after I messed up the first time. I hope she can continue to do the same for others.

Really good professor had her back to back semesters and I really like how her reviews are super similar to the tests. If you study the Exam review you will be set for the test. She also offers many different extra credit options.

lectures easy to understand, give you premade notes and let you fill them in. explain things very well

Prof. Sehgal's course was a bit difficult for me for personal reasons, but even with my struggles she made sure to reach out and give me reminders for assignments, and attendance. As far as the course goes she was very thorough and clear with the materials, and if questions were asked she would try and make sure we understood.

She gave premade notes for us to fill out so it was easier for us to learn. She gave us plenty of questions and reviews to study before tests and answered all of our questions. She is a good teacher who lets us work in groups and knows the content.

The professor is very accessible and the content of the class is easy to understand. The embedded tutor is a nice support to have if any doubts need clarification without breaking the flow of class. Tests are short and easy, contain practically the exact material presented during the reviews.

Professor Sehgal thoroughly explains questions and is quick to go over problems again if they are not understood. The unit reviews for exams accurately reflect the types of problems on the exams and the exams themselves are very fair content wise. If you understand and do the homework, you will most likely do just fine on the exams.

The professor explains the material very well. Also she explains on how to get answers on the difficult questions.

This teacher knows the content well, lets us work in groups, and gave pre made notes for us to fill out to make it easier for us to learn. She answers all our questions and gives extra credit. She also provides plenty of questions and reviews for us to study before the test.

After taking MAT 187, I would say that professor is very resourceful, and very respectful. She provided in class activates that help me learn so much during my time at MAT 187 class. There couple thing that's need to improvement such as time improvement during test day where specifically on the graph I felt that time I was given were stress.

Professor Sehgal genuinely re-ignited my love for math. Previously, I felt numb to math due to prior instructors but her interactive style of teaching paired with group work made me enthusiastic. The Desmos Exit tickets are also helpful as you get instant feedback. Notes are also super organized and you know exactly what to expect for the exams.

Chill class as long as you put in honest effort. Her review sessions were super helpful, she would reach out to every student to help them understand the review questions. I highly recommend taking her class cuz she always makes sure no student is left behind.

Stellar teacher, Useage of Study hall reccomended

She moves pretty fast, but for a reason, there is a lot of material to cover in this class. She goes over everything in a clear way, and will stop to help if you have questions. Their is group work, but it's very helpful when working on problems in class. The notes are also always available on one note, and their is an embedded tutor to help!

The class (Business Calculus) is difficult, not necessarily the teacher. She assigns a lot of homework, but honestly that helps because of the fast pace of the course. Fast paced class, clear lectures. Some amazing things Ms. Sehgal does: DROPS LOWEST TEST SCORE! (4tests) GIVES PRE-FILLED NOTES on OneNote and answer keys on exam study guides.

Very respectful and knowledgeable professor, always open to helping out. Very tough grader and very fast paced class but the tutoring center is always open which I suggest you utitlize. I did not use the tutoring center until the 4th exam, and I got my highest exam score so I recommend pairing the tutoring center with the class.

I'd recommend taking her since she does her best for her students to pass the class. For exams, if you miss something, she is lenient with grading as long as you show you understand the material properly. She drops the lowest exam grade and a few of the lowest homework grades which I appreciated. I did have to go to the math center for extra help.

Professor Sehgal is super helpful and really cares about her students' success. She encourages students to use resources available to us and answers questions we have. I would recommend taking her class!

I went into this class knowing it was going to be difficult, and I was right! But I think the combination of Prof. Sehgal's thoroughness in explaining the material coupled with the help of our embedded tutor, it wasn't as torturous as I'd feared, and I'm doing a lot better in the course than I thought I would. Extra credit helps!

If you struggle with math she is great! There is lots of review and homework that will take you a while to get through BUT that's designed to help you. She really cares about your learning and you can tell it matters to her how you feel about the class. She works hard to teach you and give you all resources you need. Put in the work and will pass

I felt like I was drowning for the majority of this course until the last unit, where I got my best test grade. Professor Sehgal told me she noticed I am very close to passing and to not lose hope. She saw my potential and did not lose faith in me, and for that, I appreciate her more than she knows! 100% recommend this course.

I have always struggled with math, so I knew this course would be tough. This professor is available outside of class for office hours and has an imbedded tutor for extra help outside of class. She always encourages students to participate in class. There are so many opportunities for extra credit. I would definitely recommend this professor.

She's a good math teacher, definitely need to pay attention to understand the criteria very clearly. But she does teach it in a way that makes sense to everyone. I took this class because all of the other in-person sections were full, and I initially thought I wouldn't learn much from an online format. This Professor was a great teacher and she is tough on you but with the intention of you learning. As long as you do homework and have hard focus in class you will totally succeed. The class is not that hard if you spend a short time every week working on it.

The professor made lectures easy for me and whenever anyone was confused or had any questions she wouldn't hesitate to help. I will say that the homework is a lot but as long as you do it and go to tutoring it will help. The exams are also very similar to the study guides and homework. She also does regular extra credits and drops the lowest exam.

Professor Sehgal is quick but still allows students many opportunities to catch up and learn efficiently, while making sure her students have many different sources for help on any of their assignments. She always makes sure students are participating, but not in a way that makes students avoid speaking. She also provides many useful review guides.
