There aren't enough good things to be said about Dr. Saleh, she is clear in her lectures, will go over concepts more than once, is reachable outside the classroom, and is overall a very nice person. If you have the chance to take one of her classes, I highly recommend it.

Prof. Saleh is the bet instructor I had so far at NOVA. She is very helpful and caring for her students. I took this course over the summer for 8 weeks which is half of the time for a regular class. It was very challenging because so much work in such short time but prof. Saleh made it easy to accomplish if you follow her instructions. Thank you !

Not an easy A, as is typical with any STEM course, however Prof Saleh always gives out study guides before the exams. 3 tests and 1 final. Quizzes are all online. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER. ONE OF THE BEST PROFS IN CHEMISTRY OUT THERE!!!!

Her lectures may get confusing at times but if you go to her office hours she is very helpful. She helps the students a lot and makes sure they learn and pass. I would definitely take her again! Do her online hw and quizzes and study and extra credit and you will easily get an A or B

Coming from a straight A science major student with 36 cr taken. I can say this was the HARDEST class Ive ever taken. I lost count how many melt downs Ive had. So many people dropped the class. I failed 3/4 exams and somehow the final saved me. I took this class for 6 wks so there was so MUCH work to do. Research paper, hws, labs, quizzes, exams...

Prof. Saleh is AWESOME, cares a lot of her students, offers extra help out of her office hours, does not hesitate to help her students. Explains tough materials very well and going over any unclear topic to make sure you understand. The labs were fun to work with her explanation. I highly recommend her if you want to learn . Best one at NOVA.

The class was hard but if you put in the work by completing the extra credit assignments given for each chapter & working through the study guides before exams, you'll do well. Participate in class, even if it is just saying the answer to the multiplication, as you get extra credit points added on to your final grade at the end. Could be helpful

She is amazing! Always there to help her students no matter what. Very patient and explains well. If you need help and ask her for help she never hesitates to help you. Her exams are little bit hard but if you focus on the study guide, the quizzes and the extra credit problems you will do great in the exams. Awesome instructor!

I had recently started studying for my MCAT's since I wish to go to medical school one day and was reviewing contents from the general chemistry and the organic chemistry MCAT Kaplan book. It seemed sooo easy and straight forward because I remember how well professor Saleh taught it to us. Therefore, I highly recommend her for all chemistry classe

She's definitely one of the most caring professors i've met at nova. At first she does come off a little mean but she's amazing once you get to know her. The class is hard so u do need to really study. The extra credit problems really do help with the exams so make sure to do all of them. 4 Exams and 1 final. Homework for each chapter.

Professor Saleh is my favorite professor at NOVA!! She cares about her students and she makes sure that they know the material. Do your work and study and you will pass. Would 10/10 recommend for chemistry. Just do your work for lab and you'll be fine.

I took Prof Saleh for CHM 111 and 112 then transferred to my School at which I took Orgo I. I didnt do well because I didnt understand the concepts. I retook CHM 241 over the summer with Dr. Saleh. I really enjoyed her lab class, she always got back to me in an appropriate time with any questions I had. I struggled at first with some of the labs and she helped me through it. Can be a tad bit condescending, but shes extremely smart.

I had orgo I at my 4 year school, I did not pass the class because I did not understand anything. I took prof. Saleh over the spring, she is an excellent organic teacher. I was so scared going in to Organic Chemistry, but Dr. Saleh made the class so enjoyable! I've learned so much! She has chapter study guides, has NEVER given a pop quiz, and she makes sure that we are well prepared for the exams! A lot of the previous reviews have definitely never taken her class.

Best chemistry professor. After the course is finished you will know organic chemistry very well. She have deep knowledge about the material as chemistry is a difficult course and she will work until everything is explained very well. It's difficult to fail the class unless you put in no effort whatsoever.

One of the best decisions you can make in your chemistry career is to take Dr. Ahmed! She is so dedicated to her students and her lectures are so helpful! She gives a set exam day, but you have all day to do it (it is always on Fridays). As long as you understand the material on the study guides, you will do well.

I've taken her class for chm111 and now chm112 and I have to say I would have never been able to grasp chemistry concepts without her lectures! She also gives study guides before every exam and does her best to answer questions even if they're about concepts we should already know.

I absolutely loath chemistry, I cannot stress that enough, but professor Saleh made the material so much more manageable and understandable that I am questioning whether my past professors were just not as good as her. TAKE. HER. CLASS.

She made the class feel like it was in-person even though it was synchronous, and was constantly trying to use the white board functions and go through the problems step by step. Normally, online classes are hard for me to follow but hers wasnt. She is a great example of how professors should be teaching now.

She is a godsend, I actually took orgo before and really struggled with the material. She was able to make the material click for me, and I am so greatful! I'm sad that I am going to be leaving NOVA without being able to take her orgo class. She is truly a delight to be taught by and trys to make real connections to her students. I think she is proabably my favorite professor at NOVA so far.

She's so accessible which is a hard thing to find, especially now. I think her average response times to emails was under 30 minutes even at around 10pm which was really nice. Go to class and do the study guide and you'd have to purposefully answer wrong to do badly in this class. She works thorugh every problem as well so you understand the steps.

Orgo is meant to be hard, but prof. saleh puts in a ton of dedication to make sure you understand what is going on and why. Orgo is a class that a ton of people dread (myself included) but she makes it seem less like a foreign language. She also had a great attitude with all of the students.
