This rating is for the LAB. I took both labs with her and she was more difficult for 2086L. Quizzes and practicums are still similar, but she gave us less extra credit then in 2085L. Best advice is study from the email powerpoints she sends, quizzes are based on those. Practicums are based on the models in class. There are 10 quizzes, 3 practicums.

shes an awesome professor, at first she might seem a little mean or hard but she just wants you to learn the material. she teaches and explains very good and motivates you to do good. shes also with time very nice and helpful, and wants to see you do good. this has to be the class where i worked the hardest in, and it payed off. i love this class

BSC2085 + BSC2085L: This teacher is extremely kind and helpful. What she goes over in class is exactly what will be on the exam. Keep in mind, if you plan to take upper level sciences classes taking her will not help.Other teachers are harder and more advanced so you will have to do extra work. But she is great for what she teaches! Loved her.

Took her for A&P lecture & lab. Tests have what she teaches in class. Attendance is necessary (approximately 20% of grade) and especially since there are graded-in-class assignments that is part of overall grade. Lab has weekly quizzes, so read labs ahead of time. Online access is needed, and VERY HELPFUL for both lecture and lab.

Prof. Carmona is very passionate about Anatomy and Physiology, she gets excited & is far from boring, we need more professors like her. Her tests are HARD, read, do the Blackboard Assignments and study guides. They're do-able as long as you study. Other reviews might say shes tough but shes getting us ready for Anatomy 2, you'll thank her later!!

She's a great teacher but it is difficult to remember all three chapters per test. There's only four tests, each based off of three chapters. The study guides aren't that helpful. Her class was a challenge but she's really helpful outside of class as well as in class, you just have to work for it. The grades in class are earned which is a really great feeling, she goes faster than lecture. There's a quiz every Friday the class meets, I encourage you visit her office hours!

I took this professor online 2085 class and lab. It was terrible. Your lectures are different from the quiz and exams. You couldnt find the answers either the lecture nor the book. The final was very difficult . And also is very desorganizada. You have to keep checking the calendar because sometimes she doesnt give access to quiz .

I had a few issues in my personal life and she accommodated to them to make sure I passed the class. Her lectures are on powerpoint and they are uploaded on blackboard so you can study.

If you pay attention in class and go over her power points, you can get away with not reading the book (though you will still need the online access code).

I really recomend it if you want to learn anatomy, she teaches the subject in a very understandable way and you wont have trouble to get an A as long as you pay attention to the classes. Her grading critirea is great, it all depends on homeworks and two exams. She answer emails immediately and care a lot about your concerns.

Incredible professor! Sent multiple emails weekly reminding what & when things were due. Midterm and Final were both only on 2 lessons each, so it was super easy to study for. Only thing I didn't like is that she doesn't open assignments until the week they're due so you cant work ahead. So work by the calendar. Definitely would recommend. 10/10!

She is a very sweet lady and teaches really well. She always makes sure you understand the material during class. The homework assignments are a little time consuming but not terrible in general. Exams are what weighs the most with your grade so i recommend you go over the material using the Pearson assignments since that is what i used to help me.

PLEASE TAKE HER! She is one of those professors that really cares about students. You have assignments for every chapter that are very straightforward and don't take long. There is one midterm and then a final. If you study, you can pass easily. Overall, Professor Carmona was the best! I don't regret choosing her at all!

This professor is truly one of a kind. She is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and tries her absolute best to explain herself in a way that everyone will understand. She is very understanding and caring towards her students. You will not regret taking her course. I took the quick 8 week semester, and I have never learned more in such a short amount of time.

Professor Carmona is a fantastic lecturer. She breaks down a hard subject like Anatomy & Physiology into lessons that are much less daunting and more digestible, and the homework is very manageable if you take good notes in class. You can tell she really cares about her students, and I'm honestly going to miss her lectures. A+ teacher

Amazing professor! Very clear and precise in her online lectures. She makes sure to explain everything thoroughly and she answers all your questions and records all the meetings so you can go back and review them. She's very kind and caring, and puts the students first. If you study and take good notes, you should pass this class!

Took her for the 8-week term and she is one of those professors who cares and understands her students. There is a midterm and a final. Homework is assigned at the end of every chapter but very simple. She explains stuff very well and repeats information if you don't understand. Loved her and I don't regret taking her class :)

This teacher was a very good caring teacher. not too much homework( you have 3 attempts to get a good grade.) the highest grade will be graded. If you study well you will pass the class. lots of notes and tests are based on the homework.

A professor who genuinely enjoys her job. The workload is manageable with just one weekly assignment, and the tests are like the assignments. If you are worried about her accent or email responses, Reading the PowerPoints is enough, and she's always ready to answer questions on Zoom.

She is good and nice, her accent makes the class a little more complicated that already is, but she would explain to you until you get it, LOTS of HomeWorks and proctored exams.

I have mad respect for her. I like her, she is my style because she is thorough, I perfectly understand what she is saying and when I take her class I retain the information and I have a clear understanding of what I know and what we haven't touched upon yet when we finish class and have to take the assignments on Pearson. I recommend her so much!

I took her for BSC2085 online and honestly she's great, she gives one homework assignment and one quiz weekly and 4 exams total ( 2 exams non proctored and midterm + final proctored) obviously the class itself is not super easy since its Anatomy but I am taking her right now for BSC2086 as well. Shes also there to answer any questions.

Professor Carmona was a nice professor, and she cares that you fully understand the topics in anatomy. If you have any questions, she will help you. There is a lot of homework. The homework can range from 30 to 50 questions and some questions will have up to 8 parts in it. There was two tests: one in person and the second one online, unproctored.

She was really sweet, I took her for the 8wk lecture and she gave us lots of time to turn in our assignments and none of our exams or work were proctored. Lots of info to learn though, so I 100% suggest you study on your own time as well! All around really great prof, loved her class.

Professor Carmona was always super sweet and caring. She sometimes moved due dates further back to help students complete them. She likes it when people participate during lectures. Tests are not lockdown browser (so you can use your notes lol).

She talked a lot, but she knows her stuff. Her assignments were long but easy, and you have 3 attempts. The tests weren't proctored.

This class was pretty easy overall. You have weekly Pearson assignments, and you can always do them after the due date for the same grade. Mid-term and final were unproctored, and homework assignment answers were pretty easy to find. I would definitely take her class again.

She's super funny, caring, and attentive. She never treated anyone badly in class and always took great care of us. There were quite a few exams, but overall, she's great.

Her lectures are amazing; she has a wealth of knowledge of her subject. If you attend her classes, you'll get an A without much effort. She's also flexible, and give you a lot of tools and study guides.

Professor Carmona class was not bad at all, there was a lot of McGrawHill assignments but they were doable. The only issue with her is the way she grades her midterm/final. She is a tough grader when it comes to the proctored tests. I would recommend to take her if you want a class that doesn't require much only some studying when those tests come.

She's a great professor! She explains the material very well. She's genuinely caring, accessible, and attentive. Her homeworks can be time consuming. However, she gives ample time to complete them, even in 8 week courses. Her time management for her lectures isn't amazing. You'll find yourself cramming to read long passages before the final.

She moves pretty fast, quizzes every class about the last topic (even if you just brushed over it). She's super nice. Gives you a study guide of everything you must know, If you're in person you might have to sit closer to hear her. I sat in the back on some emo nonchalant type but it ended being really hard to hear her when I wanted to listen.

i took both a&p 1 lecture and lab with this prof, and I don't regret it at all. just take her. shes super caring, and very lenient. no proctored exam in the lecture class which was an 8 week term, and for the lab there were small quizzes every week and 3 practicums. I know it sounds crazy but trust me j lock in w her class and you will pass.
