Amber is a very knowledgeable teacher and was a good instructor. However, her popularity with the students made it very difficult to see her for even a small amount of individual help. To me, her voice sounded so sexy, it proved a major distraction.

Made economics easy. Good, helpful teacher. No tests except for final, and quizzes are pretty easy if you pay attention in class. Don't really need to buy book, because she doesn't really follow it.

Don't buy the book, youll never use it. seriously, dont buy it. got a 88% in the class and never opened the book, its all in notes and homework. by the way does anyone else think she looks like the mom off little house on the prairie??

She makes learning this stuff easy. She even lets the class pick how she'll grade the class.

Confusing subject for me, she tries to get the material across. Her knowledge is amazing, just sometimes unclear. Homework, midterm and final only; nice but they are hard. She is a very generous grader however. I'd take her again!

She keeps class rather entertaining, but there are no tests, so if you do really bad on the quizzes and homeworks (which are impossible) you will have a pretty hard time in the class. She's really nice though and does care about her students...

easy class. weekly hw and quiz, but you can write a 2-3pg. paper in place of taking the final (which i suggest you do). shes pretty laid back and helpful. go to office hours if you need help.

Sweetest woman in the world. She is understandable, clear about expectations and accomodating to the whole class. Even if economics isn't your thing you will still retain a lot from her teaching. ...i think she kind of looks like Clara from Back to the Future III... maybe I'm alone on that one...

Nice lady, kinda dressing like she is amish. Students were shocked when she was wearing jeans one day. Easy first 8 weeks, then down the crapper. Midterm and final are difficult, homework is easy, and some extra credit is given. Super nice and she tries to help when she can.

She uses lots of examples, and does her best to help students understand the materiel. A full week is given to complete any homework assignments. Quizzes are given weekly, but if you show up to class, you'll do fine.

Uses tons of examples to try and help your understand the topic. Do the homework and show up for class. She's a tough grader - you have to get the problem EXACTLY correct AND the way she wants it done or you won't get full credit.

A very nice prof who gives plenty of examples in class to clearly display concepts. She gives you a whole week to complete the homework assignments, however some of them can be challenging. If you make an effort to ask her questions, she is more than willing to help you out and you will be fine!

She is a great tecaher, but you have to be present in class to do well on the test and take very good notes. All her notes are on the test. So as long as you take good notes you will do great in class.

Best techer I have ever had! This is what a teacher should be like! She is great at explaining things and is very friendly if you ever have a questio. Dont ever be afraid to ask, she wont embarass you. I also loved her other econ class in the summer. A's in both. Pay attention in class, take good notes, youll do well! Love her!

She is great! Allows you to choose what percent of your grade the assignments, the play, and the two tests are worth. Definitely have the hw assignments worth the least, and the play the most. The play was easy and she gave good grades for it. The midterm and final were much easier than anticipated, as long as you do the homework you are fine!

Nice lady, but seems very confused. No textbook, only aplia and it is due every week. Lets you pick the day of the week it is due the first day of class. Need to go to class in order to know the material for the quizzes. Helpful but still tricky with the quizzes that are taken every week.

Amber Brown is a great Prof. I was dreading taking an econ class but she helped clarify a lot of topics. Her homework assignments are really hard but she is willing to go over the assingments with you after class.

LOVE her. Fun little in class games and examples, always willing to help students with anything. You pick what percent you want everything to be worth the first day, and there are NO exams! If you go to her office the day before online homework is due, she will help you through the whole thing. Also, NO BOOK! YAY!

Really great Professor!!! I had the worst professor for Macro and HATED it, but I learned a lot from this class and actually enjoyed economics!! It really depends on the teacher and Professor Brown was awesome :)

She is a very nice lady. It's weird because she teaches sports economics and looks like miss Frizzle. haha. She makes you work for answers, and is very helpful in her office. Don't buy the book, bcause you won't use it. All and all a decent teacher.

I really liked this class. In the beginning of the semester she lets you decide how to weight the class. I recommend having your homework worth a lot. She is always available to help you with homework and basically does it for you if you ask her about it.
