The only bad thing with her is that she gives you homework that she has not gone over and to the students gets very confusing and some of the information should be explained before giving out the homework for the week

I really enjoyed this class. Amber is intelligent and very well spoken. She makes class interesting by sharing stories and relating things in a very simplistic way. Homework is assigned and due every Monday. The weekly assignments can get a little long and require a more than usual amount of effort but she is very helpful with it in class. A+

very interesting class! i learned soooo much! i am taking her in the winter as well! she is very laid back and very fun to listen to although i must admitt her hw is confusing and very long at times! but it was good for me i got a nice A! i totally recommend her, but dont think shes an easy grader!

Good teacher, class is not hard just do the work. Just go to class and don't be a dumbass like me and accidently sllep in on the final. Big mistake for me because class is not hard. But I would take her again.

Amber is a great teacher, although she does expect alot. Amber is willing to help her students any way she can, and really knows what she is talking about!

I took macroecon as a hybrid class with dr. casolari, she has a great personality, but she is a teaching nazi. She doesn't mess around, and she knows her stuff very well. Hence, Dr., high expectations, must read book & study. Every assign counts, accumulate 100 pts over whole semester. She is always willing to help and explains very well.

I took the hybrid class. Recommended. Very good teacher and easy if you do the homework. She is very nice and clear. A little bit tuff when it comes to grading though.

Good Professor. Took her online class. Quizzes are tough. Not the type of class where you can take the quiz last minute and look up your answers. You have to know your stuff in this class. Study! Posts are tough too. But she is very clear on what she wants.

Ok teacher. She is moody, her quizzes are hard and her papers are out of the topic. will help you if you are willing to learn.

Online class it was easy and I got a B she's a cool teacher.

theres always 1 HW every week, and they're challenging; just do em thoroughly and show ur work, u'll get A's on those HWs. posting is a must (one every week) and the tests are obviously not easy unless u rly pay attention to what she teaches in class, get involved in class discussion, and keep doin all HW. i learned A LOT in her class.

Online class.had to do a weekly article from current events post. Had to answer a series of questions weekly that she asked and had to take a 10 point/question quiz weekly. It was an easy class as long as you read the book and stayed on top of the assignments. I recommend doing the practice quizzes first..sometime the questions are on the quiz.EASY

One of the easiest class Ive ever taken. Textbook is easy to read. You get a whole week to post discussions. If you read the text and do the discussions, its so easy. You have to try to fail this class in order to fail it.

Great teacher! This was an online class - there were three weekly posts and one weekly quiz that were required. No midterm or final. Your posts need to be well researched and thought out. She also gives more points on the quantity of posts you make (ie: reply to other student posts). As long as you do all the req. work, you will pass.

Took her online and got an A. I dont know why people think shes hard, she is a tuff grader on posts but you have plenty of chances for EC so there is no reason not to do well. I will take her again

She ssooo wasn't that hard. Just do the work, study, and do the e/c if you need it. Practice tests are available, take them. You get to pick your weekly posts. This was my first class and it was a breeze (Got an A). =) Thanks Dr. C!

This class is not an easy A. This is a college course and if you want an easy class then drop out of college and work at McDonald's. She expects you to work for your grade which is just like real life. You have to work for things. Took her for Econ 7 and 8. She always answered my emails quickly and her expectations are very clear!

Great teacher! I'm finishing up an 8 week hybrid course right now. She is funny & a good communicator. If you take good notes & read & take her practice quizzes before the actual quiz you'll do just fine. I already took macro, but if I hadn't I'd have signed up for her class!

This is a great teacher! She makes the class exciting and helps with any questions you would need. I am definitely taking her for macroecon as well.

She is a great professor! Always helpful and great at making lessons understandable. Class is super easy to pass in design but takes a lot of effort to fully grasp. If you really want to pass econ and understandable, she is your best chance to do so.

She is not that difficult at all. I took her class online and got an A. All you have to do is doing all of the extra credit posts that she gives and you can get an A. I didn't even have to take the last test. It's a college class, so don't be lazy

Get ready to read most of the text book and take notes from online lectures. She wants you to cite all information you put as an answer for HW and in class activities. Quizzes every week on the chapter you have to read and a final exam. HW every week, and she can get a lil cranky if the class doesn't know the answers to questions when she asks them

Dr. Cassalori is an awesome instructor. She expects a lot from her students but in retrospect, it really isn't that much. Just read, do the assignments, and prepare for the weekly quizzes. I took both Macro and Micro in the same semester and passed both with A's. The student who receives bad grades and gives bad reviews should only blame themselves

I take the hybrid course, and she is the best teacher I have ever had. She makes her own video lectures for every single chapter. She made you to drop notes from her video, but it becomes handful when it comes to final. Remember to do the homework and the chapter quiz every week. the chapter quizes are important to your final

Online course. Dr. C provided very clearly detailed video lectures for this course, which I found to be very helpful. Tip: Take very detailed and organized notes during her lectures, she may ask for them as extra credit towards the final. My notes saved me.

She's to the point on what she wants and the hw is easy enough. This and macro are both classes where you need to learn the terms and the professor puts it in easy to understand applications in life. Do your hw and you'll definitely get an A in the class

This course was a bit more challenging than I expected. This professor expects college level writing with proper citation. You must read and understand the text to get the concepts of macroeconomics. The only extra credit offered was turning in your detailed notes from the weekly lectures. The final is on campus. Overall class is good.

Took Casolari for Microeconomics. She definitely knows her stuff, but the course itself was pretty overwhelming. Heard from other students that she makes the subject more difficult than it has to be. If you truly understand the material from left to right from beginning of the semester to end, you should be okay. She's tough and strict. Good luck!

She tries to act all hard but she isn't it's just her grading scale sucks she is a tough grader it is not a good idea to take her unless it's in person course, so I wouldn't recommend you to take her online in the summer to much work.

This class is great! The instructor cares about your success and organized the course so you will do well. You work in team to complete quizzes and learn the material. Everyone is engaged and active and it is surprising fun. This is one of the best classes I have taken at RCC.

This course is a hybrid so some of the work is completed outside of the course and some of it is completed inside the course. Do not wait to complete your work and begin reading early. You must be self-motivated. The instructor cares about your success and created a class that is well organized. You just have to do the work and you will do well

Her class is challenging but she's a great professor. You have to put the work in but you'll learn a lot.

Dr. C is very encouraging and spends the extra time needed to devote to her students. Her office hours are very flexible and her door is always open, this was a big help to me. I learned a lot that I will be able to carry with me through my education and career.

The subject matter is inherently difficult but Dr. Casolari is a great teacher. It will be tough but if you do your assignments and read you will do fine. Most people that complain about her expect it to be an extremely easy class, which is not the nature of the subject.

Great professor. Knows her stuff. You can't do the minimum and expect to do well. You have to be proactive and actually do the work and the reading.

People take this class expecting it to be graded like an easy high school Econ course. The teacher expects a lot out of her students and tries her hardest to help. I got a lot of help from her during office hours. You have to read and actually try in this class. Don't take it if you're not prepared for an actual college course.

You really have to work in this class so don't go in expecting an easy A. Great teacher and really sweet. She cares about students. Definitely take if you want to learn a lot.

Dr. Casolari is very straight forward in what she wants to see. You MUST think critically and apply the readings to any writing assignments. the videos are great and are critical if you want to understand the material. The final is comprehensive and proctored, so make sure to submit chapter notes for ec. study the chapter notes for the final.

Very competent, passionate, and her teaching motives are upright in regards to seeing her students "beat the system." If you are an undecided student, taking her Econ-10 class will give you perspective in terms of deciding on a career path. All her assignments are aimed at helping YOU get a leg up in this competitive world we live in.

She is very caring and encourages you to prosper. I took the hybrid class and was nervous about that because we would only meet once a wk. She assigns a chapter or a couple and you watch some vidoes and take notes, and that's basically the hw. She assigns groups and everyone needs to participate. I learned a lot about microeconomics.

She's a solid professor. Very clear about the topics she lectures on. Likes to use groups for quizzes and things of that nature so you have some help as the semester goes on. Tells you what you need to improve on in your papers and I feel the class could be way more challenging but she teaches it in a way thats easy to grasp.

Her class is so easy. Just do everything that's assigned and you can pass her class even if you do bad on midterm and final.

Pretty solid choice for econ considering most of profs lean towards bad. I took the hybrid version with her and felt I learned the material well enough. It's really not that hard but you MUST do the work and show up every time if you're in hybrid. Full stop. If you can't do that then don't even bother. She can be annoying but it's only once a week!

Her lectures are very interesting! I liked the organization of her honor's class . She is a great professor highly recommend. No quizzes and few homework assignments for her honors course. We did one group research project as a class that was a main component of our grade.

Picky grader, but very detailed and helpful with feedback and progress.

Since she expects you to do the assigned readings before the week starts, make sure you read. She won't just hand out an answer to you. Homework is graded based on completion. Straightforward tests. Just be careful of the two short answer questions in the end that could easily screw up the grade if you mess up. But they're not too difficult.

Took her online class and I really enjoyed it! There was 10 current event posts, at least 10 general discussion posts, quizzes every week (a few short answer quizzes), and an extra credit assignment. The online final was a bit hard but if you do good on all the other assignments, you could do bad on the final and still get a good grade!

Great teacher and extremely intelligent. Makes you truly work for the A. If you're bad at taking test be warned her test are in depth. Must read. Great teacher.

Professor Casolari is amazing women, person, and teacher. I am an international students, so sometimes, I get confused from the other lectures. However, her online class was super clear and I could study wt great videos, which covers the original lecture. Also, clear guide lines. Extra credit was given once with interesting subject. Try the best!

I took Dr. C's class online during the summer. Canvas was well organized and at least 2 weeks of modules were open to move ahead if you got the chance. She does use Cengage for homework and weekly quizzes. The week does end at 5pm not 11:59pm. Overall an easy class if you stay on schedule.

Took her online class. Tough grader and provides textbook as PDF. Has videos you need to watch and read the book or else you won't do well. Discussion boards every week that you need to do and reply to two other people for credit. Grading criteria clear but when doing discussion board number your answers. Questions on tests aren't talked about well

Awesome Professor. She wrote the textbook she uses and it is amazingly easy to understand. Her lectures fill in any gaps in understanding and she is always willing to discuss anything you are confused about. Her deadlines are weekly and she is generous with extra credit. I particularly enjoyed her discussions applying concepts to real life events.

Dr. Casolari isn't as bad as people say. I was in denial and decided to take the class. So far I really liked it. I liked her videos and it's full of information to understand the material. Looking forward to ECO-8

If you want to actually learn something, Dr. C is the one. I don't know why she has so many bad reviews. Sure she's tough, but, it isn't impossible. All those reviews are just looking for a nice teacher. Life isn't all rainbow colors, read the material, study it, and you'll be fine. Stop looking for excuse and do the work !!!

Make sure you study the quizzes because Dr. C literally pulls those questions onto the exams. Best Economics teacher you will ever had imo

Textbook is for free, but you really don't need it. Discussions are based on real life scenarios and very interesting. Overall amazing professor and a fun class (if you like business and economics) However, not an easy A. You have to work for it. Hard class, but fantastic professor

Took her for Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. Loved both classes. Dr. C can take a boring subject like Macroeconomics and Microeconomics and make it 10x more interesting. Not going to lie, I literally started to watch more YouTube videos of Macroeconomics and Microeconomics, even though I already got A/Bs in her class 10/10 !!!!!!!

Dr. C is a tough one, but at the same time very professional and very good teacher. Her lectures are clear and discussion questions are very easy. Not to mention her quizzes are all open book open notes. Her exams aren't as hard as you imagine. Overall excellent class. You will learn a lot. Take Her for econ 7 and 8 !!!

I was delusional when the reviews said this teacher sucks, but I went with it. Needless to say I didn't regret one bit. Dr. C teaches at professional level so of course it ain't gonna be easy. But if you work hard watch her lectures take good notes you'll do fine. Nothing crazy about this class

Very professional and experience professor. She grades hard, but in a good way. Most of her exams are based on her lecture videos so save those and replay it AMAP. Discussions are based on real life experience. Also read the questions carefully. She will lower your score if your answers are irrelevant

Yes, the class is difficult no doubt about it. And yes, Dr. C is not going to "spoon feed" the answers for you. However, she will give you the right tools to help you find the answers you want. You are in college now, not high school, so don't expect people do babysit you 24/7. 10/10

She's the type of professor who you need to earn her respect in order to be fair with you. If you work hard, push yourself. She will assist you. If not, good luck surviving her class.

Don't expect to slap random answers on the DB and expect to get an A. Dr.C can sense if you truly are putting the effort and applying the materials or just slapping down bs answers to get credit. She is very intelligent and experience professor, however it's not an easy A.
