He's a great teacher for FIN 4910. Very understanding, very considerate of his students. Makes sure that everyone is on the same page. The coursework is challenging - that's why it's 4000 level. He manages to simplify ideas and concepts. Gets great participation; appreciates everyone's input, and doesn't let anyone feel embarrased.

His lectures are great. Does what he teach reflect in his midterm exams? NO. The class feels easy while he lectures because he explains the problems well. However, on the exams, they are extremely tricky. This is also a hybrid course. A month of lectures are videos he made himself and no office hours are available during that time.

Prof. Padnani puts a lot of effort into teaching. No textbooks are needed and you simply need to understand his notes. I received my first "C" but still must say that he is a nice person. Distribution: Attendance 10%, Two midterms, 25% each, and a non-cumulative final 40%. To me, final was harder than midterms. Please do not take the class lightly.
