Very goood teacher, helpful makes sure you understand the material. Reviews are just like tests. I'm not very good at math but this class was easy. Highly recommended!

he is/was a high school teacher so he has that kind of mentality coming into a classroom. there is a lot of online hw, do it all before the semester is over! he is easy to understand and he's smarter than a lot of the people who rated already. his jokes are corny, but he is basically trying to help you understand, he's not bad if you're a freshma

Great teacher, much better than UH teachers, gives examples when needed, willing to help out whoever needs it, no curve, but give extra points for doing examples on board, very helpful.

he takes attendance so it's mandatory that you attend his classes. he gives homework problems from the textbook as an addition to online homework. his test and final are multiple choice. he's clear on his teachings. bad side.. sometimes he's rude and calls you out in front of the class.

He's humorous, tells jokes sometimes. He's helpful 'coz you don't have to memorize the formula, but .. try to do homework in Mathlab then you'll be fine with the tests .. they're not hard at all.

This professor does not leave any of his students behind. He explains everything step by step. He makes sure every chapter he teaches has been completely understood by students. His classroom is also a fun environment. I felt like I was studying my friends only.

very good teaching method.

I took Calculus 1 with him, and it was a Saturday class. Showing us how to use the graphing calculator, I think was what made this class special. It gave me a deeper understanding of mathematical procedures.Only problem is he does not give enuff homework from the text book. His class is interractive and fun.

Mr. Ahmad is a brilliant professor. I disliked math so much, but his method were so clear and easy. I loved it! He gives good advice in passing the exams. Do the homework, it will help you a lot and understand each problems, note are helpful, and ask a lot of questions. He's there to help! College Algebra was a piece of cake :]

Pretty cool teacher. He helps you with what you need to be helped with and makes understanding it clear.I would so take his class again. He works with the students, just don't miss a day because that could be the most important day.

He is great. He explains well. Class is easy and fast. All you need to do is your homework since is exactly like the test. He offers tutoring so I don't understand why people say he is bad. Those who failed Math 1314 have something seriously wrong with them if you took Mr. Ahmad. Great teacher. I'm terrible at Math yet I got an A coz his method was very clear and easy to understand. I would recommend him for 1314. I did not even buy the book, just did the homework and paid attention in class. EASY!

3-4 exams *exempt from final if overall grade is A. No homework unless students asked. Teach by the book from book examples. Easy to follow (must have a decent knowledge of algerbra) Relax classroom environment. Easy class for those who are good in algerbra :D. Easy professor.

I don't know what these people are talking about? This guy is freakin easy and very very nice. He makes sure that his students do good, but if you don't do your homework or study of course you're going to fail. I made an easy 100 on 2 tests and passed with an A. Very good teacher, would recommend.

The way he teach is by doing the MyMath lab homework. So it's a really great thing because you can do the homework in class.

Coming into this class,my trig teacher from last semester had me confused the entire class with anxiety during tests.This showed in my first scores (trig review),but Mr.Ahmad helped me to relax and understand rather than trying to mimic formulas I could barely remember.He made sure we got each example, reminding us to simplify.My grades went way up

Mr. Ahmad's 3 week pre-calculus course was tough, but he is an excellent teacher. He doesn't skip steps when explaining problems, shows alternative methods in problem solving, and explains common mistakes that students make. Also allows formula sheets on exams. One of the best math teachers I've ever had. Just wish I could take him for calculus!

I took him for the minimester and was really easy. I got a "B" in his class. I would recommend to take him. You kinda need the book for the homework but besides that it's an easy class as long as you go and take notes. He is willing to help you if you need it and he also gives reviews for tests and finals. I took this class in Mini semester math 1324 and i loved it! He was very helpful and encourages you not to give up.. He braeks things down for you to give you a good understanding of the math problems.. I highly reccomend taking his class! Get to know him he is a nice and understanding teacher!

I've taken him three times and all three were awesome. He really breaks down the problems if you do not understand, he teaches from mymathlab, he's funny and gives you advice as a class often. You do the hw and you'll do fine. I would def recommend

I took Ahmad for Finite, and Calculus. This guy IS the BEST Math teacher in the southwest HCC campuses. He gives slight curves depending on class performance, takes a total of 4 exams (dropping lowest). His lectures WILL teach you everything you need to know, you just need to make sure you attend his lectures or you'll be left behind.

Good teacher, kept us laughing when he saw us falling asleep. I took him in the summer for calculus. He let us exempt for the final if we had a good enough grade. I would take him again.

Concentrate in class + do homework online then u'll get A+ 'cause his test is easier than the practice problems :), u should solve all the practice problems a week before the test, then ask him the problems which u can't solve he will explain it carefully !! Prepare urself for a A+ if u study hard with him :D

I liked how he taught College Algebra. Although it was a boring class, I still managed to get an A. Don't miss any meeting in his class. Always do the test review, and repeat answering it for 2 or more times because the review is very similar to the test.

Let me start by saying I am horrible at Math. Prof Ahmad was the only math teacher that I actually learned anything from. He is a great professor.Do the homework, test reviews, and don't miss class. All of these are very important to pass, if you do it all you will get an A. I did and i never thought I would get one in Math!

All i can say is that he is pretty rude. He dosent understand what someone is going through. He thinks he catches the cheaters but he does not. He assigns some people seats on the final and some people not. Although the ones that arent he dosent assign a seat they cheat! He is not fair to everyone.

This dude is a very good math teacher! Math is not something that comes naturally, but he teaches and shows every student how to do it with many examples. Participates with the class and is easy to get along with. Loves AtM so GO AGGIES!!! Overall very good math teacher! Would recommend him to anyone who really wants to learn and not just slide by.

Professor ahmad is tight. Took him for 0306, 0312, and 1314. If you need help, ask him! He will help you if you need it! Exams are pretty much the same as the reviews! He is a really great math teacher. He literally shows you the beauty of math. He does not just have you memorize a formula. He proves to you why the formulas and the equations are true or false. YOU MUST DO YOUR HOMEWORK! If you understand how to check your work and prove the equation is right then all of his tests are easy!

Very laid back and lenient professor, gives out reviews for the three tests that are easy and comprehensive. Study your notes and the reviews and you will make an A! Don't forget to do the assigned homework. Very helpful and wonderful professor all in all.

Amin Ahmad a nice professor. His teaching methodology is clear for everybody. He gives a review for the exam and if any student can do the review, hopefully, he/she will get an A.
