Dr. Tassa was a blast. She really made our class enjoyable. She was always willing to go out of her way to make sure her students were successful. Highly recommend!!!

Indeed, she is a great lab teacher. Take her if you get the chance. A lot of the class did struggle but I came out with a B+ without too much effort. (had an A in lecture, so I didn't care.) I would've liked a syllabus and consistent written deadlines for upcoming homework. Other than that, she's nice, caring, funny, knowledgeable, etc.

I am not a Bio major and I will make an A in this class. Those who posted that she is hard or inconsistant were not studying for her tests. If you study the slides and glance over the chapters, there is no reason you wont make a good grade. She is always open for help or questions. Anyone failing this class is not studying..this is COLLEGE people!!

Her class may seem hard at first but she is anamazing teacher and very helpful. If you try your hardest and study she will do anything she can to help you. I do not like bio at all but she made the class bareable for me. Take her class.

The class is challenging but Dr Tassa forces us to use our head. Sure the tests are not MCQ only, but the preparation is excellent for more challenging classes. If you want to go Med/Nursing, pick her as she will prepare you for the challenge. Not easy, but great learning experience, guaranteed. BTW, she is extremely knowledgeable.

AWESOME!! She is great and truly cares for her students. She gives you all of the tools to make an A. She could be more organized, she is is new to A&P and admits it. But she will still challenge you, and make you use your brain. I ENJOYED HER & HER TEACHING. Anyone who failed this class just didn't apply themselves.

She has an accent but you get used to it. She truly cares and wants you to do well. Her tests are hard due to wording of the questions, but she thoroughly prepares you for material thru book, handouts, PPT. If you'll study on your own, you'll love her! One of the best personalities and hearts that I've been taught by! :)

I love Dr. Tassa. She is very nice and wants her students to succeed. She is not easy but will do what she can to help you. Her tests are fairly hard. The questions can be hard to understand, sometimes tricky. She is very funny and keeps things interesting. She is very open to talking with students.

I thoroughly enjoyed this class and looked forward to it each week. Clear on what she wants, and very willing to help you get that A. Honestly, if you don't do well, it has nothing to do with her, only you. Study what she gives you and study hard and you'll get an A. If she was teaching my next course, I'd die to get in her class. That says a lot!

Mrs. Tassa is by far the best professor i've had in my college experience thus far. She is very sweet and genuinely cares if you do well. She'll give you quizzes and homework PURELY to gaurntee you'll be prepared for tests. she's very funny and gets along great with students. but biology is a hard class so you still have to study.

AWESOME teacher! She is always trying to make class interesting and relate it to real life. She's always trying to encourage her students and help them lift their grade any way they can. Very smart, well qualified and as long as you come to class and do your work, she is always willing to help!

Prof. Tassa is awesome I really enjoyed being in her class. A&P is not an easy class so you will have to study in order to get the grade you want. She is willing to help her students if you show interest.. I work part time and have a 15 month old and still managed to get an A! She is a great teacher and funny too!

She assigns a lot of homework, but it is there to help you better understand the materiel. She genuinely wants her students to succeed but you must show her that you genuinely want to do well in the class. Though she has a french accent, I did not find it hard to understand compared to other professors who speak english as a second language.

One word to describe her: AWESOME!!! She is very funny during Lecture and Lab. She is always there to help her students understand the material. Her exams are challenging so make sure you study the powerpoints, textbook and write everything she writes on the blackboard. It is probably IMPORTANT!!!Overall she is a great teacher.

I highly recommend Dr. T if you need to learn Anatomy and Physiology well. I had her for A&P I lecture and could not wait to take her the following semester for A&P II lecture and lab. Her experience as a research scientist at UT Southwestern enhanced the class. She is fun and wants her students to succeed. You'll work hard but well worth it!

Professor Tassa's class was awesome! She is a great instructor- very knowledgeable, helpful, makes class fun and interesting! I was glad to have had her for both lab and lecture. It is a hard course, but worth the effort :)

She is an AWESOME teacher that really cares if her students get it. She's not easy but fair!

She is a nice teacher that appears to be rude at first, i recommend her highly if you want to learn biology otherwise go for the easy ones. At the end she will help you rise your grade with extra credit. Exams are hard if you don't dedicate time to study. Read the book, read her slides and you should be all right, B maybe A if you dedicate a lot.

Okay ppl, it IS after all a BIOLOGY class. So, let's be serious, the subject on its own is going to have its difficulties. BUT, Professor Tassa teaches it the best. She is not too easy and she is not too hard. She teaches it really well, is entertaining, and helps you out whenever you need it. As far as biology teachers goes, she is the best.

She is difficult. Her accent isn't bad, but her wording on tests is hard to understand sometimes. She is very fare, and very helpful. She had 7 classes this semester, which was clearly too much. I made an A and I'm happy. It's a&p2 is hard, you gotta study no matter what teacher you have people....

She is very helpful and is very committed to her students, and wants them to succeed. Her class is hard, and it requires a lot of studying, but she works with you if you're having problems. She makes the class interesting and gives good examples. She is so smart that she can give TOO much info that isn't on the test, and you study the wrong stuff.

Loved her class, Love her as a teacher...for me, personally, I found that there was a lot of stuff from the book...She makes REALLY helpful visuals on the board and is more than willing to clarify something if asked

I'm taking her as my lecture teacher. She is lively and funny, but has a french accent, so if that bothers you then take someone else. Her tests are a difficult, expect to fail if you don't study, but she is merciful so if you show that you are working hard then she will help you out. She is very helpful, especially if you ask questions. Be active!

She is so chill! We had 3 tests and the exam, which was not cummulative! Also, one of the tests were a take home test! She helps out her students, meaning extra credit!! Bio was not difficult, but not easy either..there is studying involved. She is funny and teaches biology well...I'm taking her for A&P I too!

Dr. Tassa is an amazing instructor. She is lively, engaging and makes the material interesting. She won't give you an A but she'll give you ample opportunities to earn it. She genuinely wants her students to do well and does all she can to ensure they do. She makes me want to take A&P 1-2 even though I don't need it, just to have her again.

Not an easy class, but if you want solid bases, then she is great. She has a genuine desire to help and extremely knowledgeable. Don't slack off and don't wait until the last minute to do homework, and don't blow off class. You can, but don't expect a good grade. I had to put in the work, but I was rewarded for it.

She is a sweet, funny, and engaging teacher! She's not an easy grader on tests. Don't expect to get a good grade without reading the chapters. Lots of studying, but it will be worth it. There are opportunities for extra credit.

Great Biology professor!!! Honestly, the people who complained about disorganization should note that most science classes are NOT very "organized".If you continue a career in science there is a lot of self-teaching involved! Overall she does a good job explaining the material.

She's a great teacher and really flexible. Moves through the material fast but can get distracted easily. She gives great examples during lecture to help you understand. Tests are based on lecture, so make sure you attend all of them. She reviews for the lab practicals if we needed it. Would take again.

Amazing teacher, really helped me enjoy the subject and reassure me that this is the path I want to take. Made class fun and interesting. I took it over summer and skipped a bunch of the labs but always showed up for the lecture and got an A. She is super hot lady and a superior teacher.

Dr. Tassa is a great teacher. I am taking BIOL 1406 with her next semester and hope to take other science classes with her. Make sure you read the textbook because a lot of the information on the test is in the book. When she gives you time to label models, TAKE IT because it will really help for the practicals. She is easy to talk to and funny.

Professor Tassa has an amazing way of demonstrating her lectures. She draws on her whiteboard while she is talking and uses people as examples for visual learners. Her class is very tough because it is a tough subject. If you take her class do not take more than 3 others including the required lab.

She literally makes sure you have every chance to pass. You have to read and work hard of course, but if you go the extra mile so will she. She was constantly on top of the material and telling us EXACTLY what we needed to study for practicals and tests. If you did the work and read the text book, you were fine. Very flexible and open minded.

She's a great teacher. If you ae willing to to work , she will help you. by far my greatest teacher at collin college

Dr. Tassa is one of the funniest professors I've ever had. Our class used a new online homework/textbook and although very time-consuming, it was easy to get an A on. The tests sometimes had weird wording or very specific questions but she added points back after every test so that always saved me. She also gave multiple chances for extra credit.

I took it online,Tassa would occasionally post discussions online and "encourage" we reply- DO THEM,The only complaint I have is although it said all assignments would be due at 11:59 pm, It locked us out at 10:59 so please be careful of this,Check out the book from the library to do well on the quizzes-many q's are from there. She's there to help!

The best professor I have ever had, she's truly inspirational. she love her students and wants them all to pass and will go the extra mile to make sure they get good grades. she's tough but she's very patient. She's hilarious and super chill but she's an awesome teacher.

One of my favorite teachers of all time. I hate science but she made it fun and goes the extra mile to get everyone to understand. Her tests are TOUGH but if you put in the work you'll do well. She tells great stories and is very personable. On top of that shes hilarious and I love her accent

Works with you to help you earn the highest grade you put the effort in to earn. Attendance is essential to passing but your grade will reflect your effort

Prof. Tassa is hands down one of my favorite professors. Her lectures are both not too long, neither are they short. She is hilarious, and makes her lectures more interactive by constantly interacting with the students and starting discussions. She will do EVERYTHING in her power to allow you to receive a good grade. Study hard, and you will pass.

We were required to buy a program called Mindtap, which is essentially an online textbook with required homework to do. Better not slack off or you'll regret studying last minute at 2 in the morning. She provides a powerpoint presentation, but picks specific topics. People who skip are skrewed. She is quite enthusiastic in teaching and has humor.

Having to take this prerequisite was scary. I am not a medical student. However, She was caring enough in her lectures to stop and explain further if confused. An admiring quality. Dr. Tassa stopped for every question and no question was stupid to her. Because of her, I learned a lot. She made us laugh her personality is intriguing. I will miss her

I've attended 3 universities, and Dr. Tassa is by far one of the best professors I've ever had. She's fair, caring, gives you ways to make extra credit, and is an instructor that really knows her stuff. I look forward to taking additional classes with her.

I wish she taught every single class ever. She has been my by far most favorite teacher. She is hilarious and explains hard materiel in a manner that's understandable. Yes This A&P class is hard, but it will be with any other teacher as well. Take her, she loves her students and does a damn good job at teaching. LOVE HER.

Best professor for biology ................

absolutely the best prof I know! She curses a lot and has several online tests to help boost your grade. Its almost impossible for her to dislike you, just don't skip. The material is still hard, but she wants her students to pass so just talk to her and she'll help you get through. SHES THE ONLY REASON I PASSED BIO 1406 AND BIO2401

She is hilarious, kind and understanding. She rewards those who work and is willing to help her students

I took her nutrition class online and I did not need a book. 10 quizzes, 1 test, and 1 discussion due at the middle of the term and the same thing for finals. So I did everything in one week right before the each test (there were 2) and got an A. All quizzes and tests had answers on quizlet so they were easy to look up. Definitely recommended.

By far the best professor I've ever had. Lectures make time fly and she cares for every student's success. Do whatever you can to take her, you will not regret it.

great professor!!! the class itself is pretty difficult, so studying is a must. don't get behind on the mindtap, it's hard to catch up. she makes the course very interesting, I wish I was taking her class next year :(

Professor Tassa is a great professor. The class is incredibly hard and if you skip you wont pass. She is lenient with her grades however, she wont budge on the final grade (even if youre only 1 point away from a higher letter grade). She talks fast so get ready to listen.

Dr. Tassa was one of my favorite professors I ever had. The subject is pretty tough, especially if it is the first time you are exposed to it, but she helps her students in every way she can. I love her French accent and the way she interacts with students. She is so smart and educated on her subject and will answer any question you could have.

Pr. Tassa was an amazing person and very fun to have in class but she is the most difficult professor ive had in college. She teaches A&P with biology 2 and expects us to know what shes teaching. Lectures are very fast and complicated and the tests are nearly impossible. If you need to get ahold of her, goodluck. She doesnt respond.

She is a reallyyy sweet and funny person but her teaching is OK. You have to study hard for her tests. Her test aren't impossible to pass. You can do it, if you dedicate yourself to study. You have a lottt of Mastering Biology (online homework) Pleaseeee do her discussions!! Its worth it. It'll bring your grade up I promise.

Took the online class and lab and really liked it. I prefer to somewhat teach myself, and this class was perfect for that. It does require a good amount of time and effort, but I thought it was interesting. She did drop several of the lowest grades, which helps if you're struggling. Only a few discussions but the rest was online lecture and tests.

Professor Tassa knows what she's doing!! I took her class online this semester and it was so easy. She's very organized and you're given so much time before things are due. I would take her through college with me if I could. Definitely take her if you want an A!!!

Professor Tassa is awesome! I would 10/10 take this class again. I took nutrition and diet therapy over wintermester and it was very easy and organized so well. Three deadlines for assignments due with plenty of time to complete them in between plus a few easy online exams. It worked out to one assignment a day. Lecture notes were lengthy but easy.
