This professor was very hard to understand. I've had many professors with accents, but his was not understandable. For example, He pronounced Aorta as water. This made it hard for me to learn. He promises 50 extra credit pts. on Syllabus if you have perfect attendance and then never applies it at end. I do not recommend him. He's new to school. :(
Took Him for Lab. He's a medical doctor and it was his first time teaching. Knows his stuff but he's very hard to understand to the point that it will affect you. Before each practical he makes you wait for him for two hours due to the fact that he's not prepared. He's not fair and not an easy A If your an A student you might end up with a B or C.
This is the worst a&p teacher that you can end up taking. he's useless, reads straights from the books or chapter summary, has a strong accent that is really hard to understant, his tests are very tricky. doesn't have a clue about teaching, doesn't understand the question when asked one, he talks down to students. waste of time and money.DONT TAKE!
HORRIBLE!DONT TAKE HIM. HE'S HARD TO UNDERSTAND DUE TO HIS STRONG ACCENT, HIS TETS ARE VERY DETAILED AND TRICKY, HORRIBLE CHARACTER. HE'S A READER BUT NOT A TEACHER, HE READ STRAIGHT FROM THE BOOK OR CHAPTER SUMMARY THAT HE PROJECTS ON BOARD, DOESN'T UNDERSTAND WHEN ASKED A QUESTION, HAS AN ATTITUTE. NOT EXPERIENCED AT TEACHING AT ALL. STAY AWAY!!!
Dr. Ezzeldin may be a neurologist, but he is a poor teacher. Yes, he has an unusual accent, and yes, he appears to be a new teacher, but that would not matter if he were an enthusiastic about teaching, respectful of students and desirous of improving. Unfortunately, Dr. Ezzeldin does not appear to enjoy teaching, or students.
Dr. Ezzeldin does not actually teach, he sprints though Powerpoint, adding little except "this is veddy important," and "Oh, and THIS is veddy important." He is impatient, often cuts off students' questions, and gives the strong impression that he thinks us lazy and dull-witted. His struggles with English make his tests devilishly hard.
Dr Ezzeldin Is from Egypt. Egypt was the most advanced culture for anatomy. I was very excited to have him as an instructor. As it keeps mentioned, he is a new instructor and has an accent. How would you like to be new? You can understand if you listen, he goes over and over material. He's fine. Give him a chance. I'm learning a lot.
I enjoy the class. He makes it interesting by walking around the room so everyone hears him, shows mucles and bones and how they are used. He's not easy but he is willing to help anyone who WANTS to learn. He tries very hard to make students understand and goes over and over material. Cares about students.
No good don't take i wish i never selected this class .He's hard to understand and isn't a good professor.instead of teaching he tries to trick you.
An excellent lab instructor! While I found Dr. E's A&P lecture class a bit tiresome, he turns out to be terrific in lab--enthusiastic, thorough, extremely organized, knowledgeable, fair-minded. One caveat: regarding test questions, he is always right. Even if wrong.
He is the best teacher ever. yes he has an accent but when you use to it, it will be understandable. His tests are very easy. i strongly recommend him.
Great instructor. But is AP and you have to study. Ask questions and try to speak to him at a personal level. Great guy.
20 POINTS EXTRA CREDIT FOR FULL ATTENDANCE! GREAT TEACHER... EXPLAINS WELL (:
Great professor, he takes the time to explain in detail. Very knowledgable and patient. Very happy I took his class.
Excellent!
Excelent Professor.
^^^^ He promises 20 points EC for attendance which in deed he did give. Accent heavy probably wont be able to understand. - I didnt come to class. - I just studied everything. I got an A. This is not an easy course. POINT BLANK - just study your butt off
excellent, take his time to explain us
Very organized and thorough with his labs. Just pay close attention to his reviews and you will do well.
Professor Ezzeldin is by far one of the greatest lab professor I've had up to date. Very organized and patient. If you want to learn..TAKE HIM.
Took Professor Ezzeldin for BSC2085L, he is very helpful and he does a review before each test. He has a heavy accent, but if you read the book before going to class you can follow quite easily. He likes class participation and gives extra credit for attendance. He can be a bit sarcastic at times. He makes sure you understand. I would recommend him
He is the best lab teacher i ever had. very organized and knowledgeable.mid term was hard because the syllabus of mid term was hard. i had C grade in mid term. eventually i ended up getting A grade as the final test was easy and for 20 extra points which he gives to every one. love that class :D
As long as you do exactly what he expects of you, you should do very well. Being there for the Midterm/Final reviews are a must. Also study the online pictures, they help a lot. He is very thorough in his explanations. He wants you to do well. He is there to help.
Very helpful professor he wants the students to learn and to do well on the test. He is very smart and makes anatomy easy to understand. Very good and helpful reviews before each test. Midterm and final easy A. I wish I could take microbiology with him too. Very intelligent and good professor.
He is extremely helpful. As long as you take notes and pay attention you'l do fine. But you CANNOT miss class. You will miss out on a LOT of info and it'l make life suck. Im taking him now and I just signed up to take AP2 with him. Hes an awesome teacher, he teaches in a way that you'l understand. Plus hes cute so its nice.
Teaches well. Tries to find ways to help you remember material. Explains very well. Reviews for what may be on quiz or test doesn't spoon feed you what will be on test specifically but what may be on test.
Took him for ap1 lab and ap2 lab. Really good teacher and guy, doesn't go on until you tell him that you understand the material. Tells you what's going to be on the test or quiz so if you do bad it really is your fault. Easy class as long as you study what he tells you to.
I just took AP1 Lab with Professor Ezzeldin and I really recommend him. He knows what he is teaching and he always review everything before each exam. It's not an easy class but the way he teach makes it easier. It is true he has a little accent, but you can understand everything he says. He is very smart!!!
Great teacher really enjoyed his class. His accent is very strong and sometimes hard to understand but he really does try to be as clear as possible. If you want an A I recommend attending all Labs and studying, but overall I learned a lot in his class and I would take him again!
Professor Ezzeldin knows his stuff! He is great at explaining concepts and making sure you know what to expect for the quizzes/practicals. You MUST study to do well but you have all the tools you need to succeed and will learn a lot of valuable information.
Professor Ezzeldin is a really great teacher. He knows his stuff and he goes over everything you need to know, and he repeats everything until we say we understand. I only used the manual for quizzes and for tests you need to go to class for the material. You also get extra credit for attendance. I would definitely recommend this teacher.
Notwithstanding his statement that he welcomed questions, when one was asked he seemed irritated and made face gestures. There is nothing that hinders the effective learning of a student more than being afraid to ask questions. His accent and lack of help made it harder than it should be. I had to ask another prof to help me understand the material
Great professor!! He knows the material! Yes he has a heavy accent, but I had no trouble understanding him! He is passionate to teach! I would recommend him to anyone! Just attend every class and study!
I absolutely loved this class and the teacher. he was completely helpful repeated things multiple times which is extremely needed with this course considering most of everything is about memorization I would recommend him greatly for the lab course he was absolutely AWESOME.
Took him at a different school than PBSC. Nice person overall but completely unprofessional. Late 15-30 minutes each class, got annoyed with students asking questions, was never prepared for class, didn't take grading seriously. Not a professor for a serious (type A personality) student, you'll be highly annoyed at the lack of professionalism.
He is very caring and will explain everything many times until you get it,Take him if you have the opportunity .Very smart guy.
I read the reviews on here and took a chance by taking this professor. TERRIBLE IDEA. I took him for Microbiology lab and ultimately regret it. We only get two quizzes, one midterm, and one final. Be careful with his quizzes! Ours were completely fill in the blank! Even though he said it would be mc and matching. Just save yourself the trouble!
I took this professor based on what i saw here on rate my professor and i dont have much but complaints. I take him for a 6:30-9:15 evening class and you can tell it affects him. He really becomes irritated by questions and overall has an attitude for most of his class. Also i found myself googleing most words as his accent leads me to mispell alot
He's not clear on his quizzesexams. For ex. he told our class the quiz was mc but gave us fill in the blanks wo a work bank instead. He misinformed us therefore it affects how most of us prepared for the quiz. Questions on examsquizzes don't always correlate to his lab lecture materials. not helpful when you approached him.
Midterm was chaos! We were left to find any open station to proceed with exam. So if you started on station 5 and you're ready to move to the next station, you have to look around the room to see where's the next available station and it might not be 6 or 7. another word, you better double check your scan tron to make sure your station matches.
If you are one of those people who think you will get by only attending class, this one is not for you. He is a good professor. Gave you all the notes you needed to get an A, all you need to do is STUDY. He's impatient with the students, and VERY disorganized practicals; everyone was going to whatever station they wanted with no specific order.
He is the best . I really am confused by the bad rating. Whoever rated him as a bad teacher is lazy. If you come to class and listen you will do well in lecture also . He tells you what to study before the test . I'm not sure why people are not passing . I got over a 100 on my midterm so his class is not hard . If you study you will pass !
I don't recommend taking him especially for microbiology lab. The midterm was the absolute worst. It was so unorganized! Pure Chaos! You may be at number 27 and it has a two part question with number 28 and someone might be at that station, so you have to find another open station. Pure Chaos. Some of the questions on tests he didnt even teach!
He's great, gives you everything you need to do well, very organized and clear cut. Be ready to meet him halfway though, this is not a class you can breeze through by doing the minimum. PS(for my ladies) this is a great class but be prepared to lose your mind over how beautiful he is, distraction to the max.
He's a good professor but it was sort of hard to understand what he is saying, bring gloves without it you will be embarrass in class, two quizzes one before the midterm and final. Very tough class you have to study not easy oh by the way don't by the lab book he doesn't use it waste of money.
He rarely uses the lab book which makes it seem like a waste of money on your part, but he does email you the notes which you have to print out and bring to class. There's a quiz before the mid term, and a quiz before the Finals. They are really tough! I was failing halfway then pulled an A overall through sheer mental will power, so study. A lot.
His test are extremely detailed & confusing. They're mc but they also include things he didnt lecture on. His ppts cover too much info. He tends to get irritated with students. Bottom line DON'T TAKE HIM! If you really have to, memorize EVERY single thing on the ppts and use quizlet on the chapters. The only extra credit is to come to every class
Dr. Amir is very polite and knowledgeble. Great professor, I took him for ANP 2 and I learnt a lot . He took the time to explain in detail and thanks to him I still remember what he taught on me on his class years ago. Now I looking to register again in another class with him.
all i can say do not take this teacher , or you take him and feel sorry you did like i feel right now
all i can say do not take this teacher .he can not teach
Do yourself a favor and do not take his class. You are better off waiting for next semester. Under no circumstances should you take him. His tests are extremely difficult. No matter how hard you try you will still struggle. Please do not take him. You are risking your entire transcript. Any other professor has to be better.
beware!!! worst instructor of my post secondary education venture!!!! cannot teach waste of time money and effort!! take another instructor whom is there because they are passionate about teaching and can manage a classroom!! PBSC should have evaluation & certification requirements like FL teachers go thru for k-12.
Hes pretty attractive but the class is not a walk in the park. If you don't study, you will fail. But he was way better than the other anatomy lab teachers from what I heard from other students. He was very helpful but the lectures were long and boring. I would take him again.
Do not take this professor! He has a strong accent that you will not understand. He has long lectures and goes by a fast paste. Horrible experience.
Dr. Ezz is amazing! Im confused why people are rating him so poorly. He is an extraordinary teacher! You have to make sure you attend class and study your butt off!!! No lab is easy but he gives you everything you need to know and he will make sure you understand! Lastly he is extremely good looking so make sure you focus and you will pass!
He was an ok professor . Not many people like his teaching skills but I found them to be quite useful. Only thing is his accent might get a little confusing but overall he's a great professor. I chose him again for next semester.
tests & quizzes are VERY difficult. You could study day & night & it would still be a difficult course. He doesn't tell you what will be on the test/quizzes, he just crams everything up & makes the questions harder than needed :( very tough class for sure (coming from an A & B student) Did not use textbook, attendance is the only extra credit.
Only grades are for two quizzes and two tests. attendance is the only extra credit. Tests and quizzes are really tough. Must know Microbiology inside and out to pass. Would avoid taking him if possible.
I've never had such a bad experience with a professor. He is very smart, however he should not be teaching. He has no patience, you can't ask him for help.
One of the hardest lab classes I have taken. I am a good hands on learner but this was on another level. He is not the best helper, it would get kind of awkward when someone would ask for help. He would get very frustrated when people didn't understand. I took the final today, and I doubt I passed the class which is very upsetting.
He is very smart, but get ready to study very hard to pass his class. He will email you it before class. Save your money . Don't buy the book. His quizzes and exams covered whole material in ppt and study part 1 -2 for the lab pictures. he goes very in deep with class (molecular, genetics, chemistry). YOU MUST COME TO CLASS.
Only 4 grades through the whole class. I bought the book and never used it once, total waste of money. No lab reports just 2 tests 2 quizzes. Quizzes are fill in the blank and tests are MC. Not very clear on what will be on them, I was stressed this whole semester because i did poor on just one quiz. Totally jeopardized my grade.
I have never had to work so hard to pass a class until I took Professor Amir. There are only 2 Quizzes, a midterm, and a final for a total of 4 tests in his class. YOU MUST STUDY! If studying is not for you do not take him, you WILL NOT PASS. His test are extremely difficult and attendance counts, those 10 points will make or break you!
The class is tough, you have to attend because he tells you exactly what to study. He gives 2 quizzes which are really difficult and the midterm and final depends on your attendance and studying. He explains everything clearly and he he goes over it multiple times. I would suggest the class. Make sure to get the lab book!
No personality, Now I know why everyone told me not to take his class, he is an awful teacher. I would hate to be his peer at work. I would wait 2 to 3 semester for another teacher before I would take another one of his classes. Now I know why the class only had a few students because no one likes him.
The class is passable if you have alot of time to study. Not easy, you have to work hard for a good grade.
I enjoy his class, very knowledgeable and there to help if needed.
Good professor, yes, you do have to study, but we are in College right ?
Professor Ezzeldin is very strict in the Lab but it is for your own protection. He is very knowledgeable and he expects you to participate. Attendance is mandatory and trust me you will need those 10 points. If you study his materials , you will easily get an A. Lab sessions are highly recommended. Proper attire is a must.
I can see why some people may not like him but when it comes to teaching he is great. He is so knowledgeable and thorough. He is interactive and likes for students to be involved in his questions. You MUST be prepared for his class. If you aren't in lab dress code, he will let you know. If you do the work, you will truly learn.
Talk fast, gets annoyed when you ask questions.
Professor Ezzledin's grading criteria is quite clear as laid out by the syllabus. He can be unclear during class about the answers or expected results of the experiments which leads to confusion during test preparation. Otherwise just show up, pay attention, study minimally and you will get an A.
Wonder Prof. Fast talker but as long as you pre-read the lab manual you'll be fine. Prepare to take extra notes in addition to the manual lessons. He has 2 quizzes, a midterm, and the final and those are the only grades entered. Proper lab attire is required, doesn't take kindly students who waste his time and will make it clear.
i thinks he has anger issues only took the class because he was the only one left only gives you five grades and one of them is extra credit
Super serious all the time. He told us to buy lab manual & we haven't even used it. Come to class w/ lab coat/googles/gloves. 2 quizzes & 2 tests +10 points extra credit for showing up to every class. He breaks down everything so it's easier to understand. Study powerpoints &"study materials" & know everything frontwards & backwards & you'll be ok.
Professor Ezzeldin is a great , his PowerPoint is clear and he took time to explain the materials, and went over it more than once, just read before class, I took him this summer, i had A. i will definitely take him again.
Make sure you have a lab coat, goggles, & a box of gloves every class! Even on the first day!
I am currently taking APL2 with him. He is GREAT! By great I mean that he explains the concepts in a way that are easy for you to understand. He makes the material very relatable and much more "common sense" than just rote memorization. He is very serious but if you crack a joke he will laugh! Wish I was taking him for lecture. TAKE HIM!!!
He's a decent professor. He has an accent and it can be hard to understand him. You can't really access him outside of class you have to teach yourself if you can't understand the subject. If Biology isn't your best subject I don't think he's the professor for you.
At first, I was overwhelmed with this professor and his teaching styles. He is a very difficult professor, spelling counts, he had two quizzes and two exams (a midterm and final). Personally, I found his quizzes are much harder than his exams so be aware of that. But, this professor is very knowledgeable and he is willing to help.
He's incredibly intelligent, but is easily irritated and doesn't provide materials for you to succeed. If he does decide to send the PowerPoint it's usually right before the test. You have 2 tests (practicals) and 2 quizzes for a total of 300 points. I recommend committing everything to memory after class & before your next. Be prepared to study!
He gives you two quizzes and two tests (midterm/final). His quizzes can be very hard because its few questions for a big chunk of material. His accent can be difficult sometimes with pronunciation and grammar. Prepared yourself to go to study groups, lab session and tutors because it can be a lot to handle.
He's definitely not the best teacher, but if you don't have any other choices; you may take him.
There are only 4 grades. 2 quizzes and 2 test (Midterm/Final). He lectures heavy and you must know everything in order to pass the quizzes. He gets kind of monotone and very little break if none at all. You must actively take notes to work for an A. After all if you want to be in medicine it's not going to be easy. I recommend looking for another.
I always tend to give the prof. the benefit of the doubt on RMP, bad idea with this prof., lectures are hard to follow, he doesn't lecture anything that's on the test, also powerpoints are pointless, JUST READ THE CHAPTERS! He offers no help, also snaps in your face to pay attention never lets you take notes. Also annoyed when you ask questions.
You need to know every little detail if you want to pass the tests.
I thought I made the wrong decision to be in Dr. Ezz class because of the poor review in rate my professor. As the class goes, I told myself that I made the right decision to be in his class. Yes, he is very strict in a very good and acceptable reason. He gives clear instructions, and I am amazed on how he explains every lessons detail by detail.
Can I just say, I took him for A&P 1 and 2 and he's a phenomenal professor. He breaks down the material in such a way its easy to comprehend, and his examples make a ton of sense. Don't be overwhelmed by the guy, that's literally him just being himself,. Overall standing 10/10 I wish i could take him for all my physiology classes.
You have to study the whole chapter to pass. Test is hard to pass unless you study every bit of small details.
Prof Ezzeldin definitely makes you work for your grades, there are 2 quizzes and 2 practicals in this course. He is a tough grader, make sure you know how to spell everything and he always says to "look at him" when you're trying to write. Focus on the bones in the first part of the semester the second half is muscles and honestly easier.
The only reason I feel anyone would give a negative review is they didn't work! He explains in clear descriptive manner. His style of teaching is making you understand why we call this flexor carpi radialis. Or why is this called connective tissue. If you want to learn and need this as solid foundation for your career then take him. AMAZING!
If anyone tells you this professor is phenomenal is lying and probably don't want to see you succeed. My best advice is to avoid his class if you are looking for a passing grade or above.
Unless you have no other class or job then you can take this proffessor It is Avery time consuming and difficult By the end,you also dont learn anything.
I took Professor Ezzeldin for BSC1010L. He honestly is not a bad professor, and really helped a lot. Every class you have an experiment to work on, and if you or your lab mates missed something, he will help you with whatever you missed. Only thing I'd warn about is that some test questions are hyper specific and not in the book. Would recommend
Prof. Ezzeldin genuinely cares about his students. He takes time to explain things thoroughly and will not move on until you do. Has a small accent but nothing terrible. The class usually ended early but you never felt like you were missing out on knowledge. I would take this professor for another class! :)
Straight A student, figured I'd give him a chance. He treated his class like children and the way he worded questions confused everyone. If you can take someone else, save yourself the stress and frustration!
Prof. E lectures the whole time and will ask the class questions, only so he can answer them lol. The lectures don't matter though, because he gives a MULTIPLE CHOICE STUDY for every TEST and those exact QUESTIONS and ANSWERS are on the test. All test are multiple choice and attendance does effect your grade. Save yourself time and take take him :)
I've taken him for A&P 1,2 Now Micro and Lab. Yes you must work, read, read again and study study study! If you're not willing to do that then don't take him. He's not handing out "A" you must earn them. I'm glad I had this course during Covid-19. I was able to well informed during this trying time with all the miss info floating on the news.
Took the lab as an online virtual class. He provided powerpoints and test reviews. His lectures are good and interesting. He wants you to understand the material and wants you to pass. Be prepared to discuss and answer questions - he really likes participation! There are 2 quizzes and 2 tests. I'd have him as a professor again in a heartbeat!
Knowledgeable, passionate, straight-forward: the Prof states exactly what is going to be on the midterm and final exam. There is no homework. Quizzes are the study guides!! The only way to fail is to not study! Dedicate the time to reinforce the material taught for the midterm & final, and you will pass. No hw!!
slightly assumes you know of anatomy so he will ask you questions, but good professor that has great knowledge of the course and answers questions well.
Amir's class is no easy feat, but if you put in the work, you'll learn a ton. Quizzes are tough, so use all the resources - study groups, lab sessions, and even unstuckstudy - to really nail the content. The midterm and final are make-or-break, so don't slack off.
Professor Amir is one of the best professors! Very straightforward! Makes sure we get it before moving on to the next topic! A&P isn't an easy class in general but he's that professor that will make seem easy and understandable! I wholeheartedly recommend him as your lab professor! I wouldn't doubt in taking him all over again! He's amazing!
