He has a very strict, traditional teaching style. The class is a lot of work but he makes it easy because he is pretty explanatory. Pay attention, show up to class, and ask him questions. He really is not that hard of a professor. Quizzes and homework every week but it is all take home and it is straight from his sample problems.

Overall solid professor. His exams are difficult (allowed a sheet), but all quizzes and homework are all done at home. Attending class is an absolute necessity, as everything on graded assignments is directly from the lecture. He is accessible outside of class, and cares about student success. Easily the nicest professor I've ever had at Uconn. Cares so much about his students and genuinely wants to help you. There is a lot of homework and take-home-quizzes but if you attend lecture and actually pay attention they should be very easy 100s. Pretty generous with curving too. Professor Kouzehkanani is a very respectful and caring person. In any college-level course, there is a lot of work done outside of class. The examples done in-class basically walk you through all the assignments. As long as you, take notes and come to lecture regularly (attendance is taken every day), you will do okay in the class.

He's an enthusiastic lecturer and its extremely clear that he cares about his students. Attendance really matters and he passes around an attendance sheet each class. Participate during class, he'll really appreciate it, and he always encourages students to stop by his office hours. He curves his tests generously.

Amir is a great professor who is very caring for his students and is passionate about asking for help and going to office hours. He curves generously on exams, giving the whole class +20 points on the midterm, also he dropped our lowest quiz and gave us a free 100 on another quiz. He also let us use a cheat sheet for the final, I recommend!

Dr. Kouzehkanani is the greatest lecturer I've had. Don't expect a cake walk, but the content can be understood readily as long as you pay attention and care. Dr. K is funny, charismatic, and brings unlimited excitement to the field of statistics (which can be rare for lecturers). If you get the chance, take his class!

I'm writing this review because I'm crying over homework. My notes are useless because they are so disorganized and have no flow. He just rambles on in class and none of the lectures connect. He also wants things to be very specifically his way, and I have to unlearn half of what I learned in stat 1 just for his class.

A good and nice professor. A lot of take home quizzes and homework, however most of them are easy. Gives 2 hard exams that most people do bad. Gives extra credit to those who attend every class and complete all assignments. Lectures are mandatory if you want a good grade, for he basically gives you exactly what you need and what you need to write.

Overall, he is a very generous and passionate professor, and by far one of my favorites at UConn.

Amir was a nice professor, but the class wasn't the easiest. However, as long as you attend lectures it wasn't bad. Turn in assignments on time.
