The professor is good with excellent knowledge about the subject and engaging class. There are no quizzes, but the discussions sometimes feel like an individual assignment.

Great professor who actually tries to make the subject interesting. He will ensure everyone enjoys the class, does not matter how complex the topic is; he makes it easy. Class activities are especially fun, whether they involve aeroplanes or coffee shops activities.
The professor takes time in the beginning of the semester to explain the criteria, is open to questions, is willing to explain more than once as well, puts in time and make us forward to the class with interesting ways to solve issues, having interactive class, and also stimulations to make the topics very clear.

You will learn a lot from his lectures. The assignments, discussions he gives will be related to his teachings. Concentrate on class, it will be very helpful even in practical life. Follow his instruction for doing assignments. Be aware of AI. It is better if you can write in your own way. Ask him about his expectations in first class itself.

The teaching criteria is very good and easy for students to remember concepts as well as applying those for their work and personal experiences. Everything is discussed clearly in the class and professor is supportive and understanding.

This is the only professor who actually understands the students. Also , he is not someone to whom who can submit AI generated documents because he is smart enough to catch them. I saw other reviews where people dont like hom because he catches AI. Yes , because he is not stupid so he will make you work. loved his classes

The negative reviewer looks like a student who is probably passing with plagiarised assignments in other courses and is extremely unhappy on getting a professor who is not regarding his AI lol.... yes if you want to pass with plagiarised assignments do not choose him but if you are here to study like me please choose him... you will not regret

Donot take him. He has poor knowledge on the subject. Does not explain the subject clearly. Grading criteria is not transparent. Skip the subject to aotjer term if you dont have another professor. But dont take him.
No matter what, avoid him at all cost. Only good grades you will get is in the final exam as he cannot be subjective because its an MCQ. For other assignments, whatever we write, its AI written according to him. Choose another competent professor. Please DO NOT waste your time. Thank me later :)
Good professor. If you understand what are his expectations are there will be not be any issues. Final exam is also easy. Has all the qualities what a student expect to be there in a professor.
Professor unfortunately falls short of expectations in many aspects. The teaching style is highly disappointing. The assignments seem designed to be more of a mental torture than a learning experience. Apart from AI, plagiarism detection and grammar errors, no constructive feedback provided which leaves students feeling frustrated and demotivated.
His grading is not transparent
Check his background. He doesnt have previous teaching experience. Just a people pleaser who has no clue on how to distinguish between a paper written using AI and written by the student. He doesnt understand that certain words/ sentences we write will always get detected as AI written as they are just universal words. Horrible experience

Worst prof ever. he pretends to be very friendly but he is not. He grades on the basis of AI thats it. No other remarks were given. Final exam answers were wrong. Nothing learned over all. Do not take this professor if you want to pass as only comment you will get is AI detected, paraphrase and constant fear of getting reported
I recommend avoiding this professor. His grading is subjective, and he seem to rely heavily on AI-generated content for assignments. Consider choosing another competent professor. Thank me later

Great Professor, Very inspirational, less workload. He understands you very well. 3 Subjective Quizzes, 1 Open book Final, 1 Discussion and 3 Case Assignment. NO OGL required.
Although I got A- grade, but I must say the teaching OPMT is not up to the mark. I didn't receive any constructive feedback for any of my assignments submitted. The learning could have in better. The professor's knowledge is limited, this I am saying after consulting other colleagues who took OPMT from other professors.
Professor is easy going. He helps you in every way possible. gives extensions. Always accessible over Teams.

I don't know why this professor has so many negative reviews, though it seems like one person posing multiple negative reviews. He is very caring about the students. He understands well that every student is not same and hence he helps every way possible.
No OGL, subjective quizzes in which you need to write 500 words reports, final exam - not that tough, its open book pen & paper, grading criteria not clear, shares no feedback, if you ask questions - he doesn't listen , not open to feedback. One group project with recorded presentation. Overall you can easily sail through this professor.
Amish simplifies OPMT fairly well. Helps students build confidence in writing concepts by themselves (without AI - he DETESTS AI). Always patiently guiding students through their missteps. Considers students' situations, too. He is a tough grader; You won't easily fail, but you'll not score an A or anything like that in his class for sure!
Amish Pashi is good for those who are happy with the grade between B to A-. He will never give you more than that grade and also less than that grade range. If you write your own words without using any AI tools and add some data to every assignment, you will get a B or B+. He just hates AI
no OGL - final exam super easy - he will grade you good - chill professor- he will pass - no stress- in case of ai . need to be careful but that's for every prof . if they find any ai . they have to report . but still he will not report u to academic integrity. but he will warn u .. overall, easy professor .can take him

OPMT is subject where A is easy to get. But if you take the class with this professor he won't grade you more than A-. Noone has ever achieved more than that even he is scared to grade more than that he admits it in class. Get to other professor if you are good in excel and wants to score higher grade. He is just average
TOO strict on exams, I am currently studying in this cource. after 7th week he starts providing load of formulas and its too hard to solve it and remember all of it. he turns the chairs on windows so we cant cheat. he does not allow any cheating. he is too strict. NEVER TAKING HIM AGAIN. CRYING in my room at 1am.

I have completed my MBA and out of all the professors I had, he is the worst. Came back to leave a comment for others to be safe. My transcript is ruined with a low grade because he is too scared to rate you well. Horrible experience ever!
I couldnt get a Honors for the final CGPA as my CGPA went down as he gave me a B. Super disappointed and I have no idea why I chose him. Just bad luck. He asked in class as to why we are worried of grades back then. He has no idea what positivity good grades can bring to your life. Horrible.

Amish knew all the names of students from his country India, even the quiet ones. Never cared to know our names (except one "token" Nigerian student's name - which he would forget after 2 classes!). Then he spent 15% of his classes speaking Hindi. Now tell me, what do you call that?.... Yes, you're right. His content, however, was fairly good.
He will take 1 whole class to tell you he is best professor. He does not give enough time to write and learn formulas. 30 question final exam(15 theory,15calculative). 1 PPT, group assignments, 4individual assignments. He is very fast at teaching. 5 marks for attendance, 10 marks for 2 simple discussions.10 marks for class participation.3/5 overall
best professor, OPMT is a tough subject however this professor makes it understandable, with all his efforts he continuously helped us to understand everything and end up with good grades, I would recommend everyone to take him.

He might be good Prof in the previous terms. As Prof Amish is recommended by various number of students.. But, as per my own experience, I would say think again and take it at your risk... If you are an average student or like to avoid stress then I highly recommend you to avoid.. in terms of grades you will be stressful in his class..
Never expect any good grades. He selects his favourites and never impressed with anything. He acts so good but stingy with grades.find other options.
It is okay to choose him for opmt. Final exam is easy as it is an open book exam. Work load is really less because of No OGL and yes, it is hard to score more than 80 for assignments. He is good at passing the information what he knows to the students, wont say that he is very knowledgable.

Well, I wanna say he just teaches what he wants, you cannot expect a proper answer to a question . He won't remember your name if you are not an Indian. Classes are quite engaging I won't deny that, but the things is if he start to give 74-75 marks then don't expect much on the final grade, he just upload final grade at the end. Chose wisely

I don't understand why some students are giving him negative comments. I am Gitanjali Chib, currently studying in his class. He is a caring, fair, and supportive professor who listens to students and understands their concerns. No one gets marks without studying. He rewards effort and guides us well.
His lectures were good. Two quizzes, tough simulations and a final open book exam but no discussion and OGL. I liked everything except the ending. He tells you to trust the process. And if you belive you will end up unhappy like me try to score as much as marks in final or will be stuck with 75% like me. You can blindly take him for OPMT..
This professor was completely unhelpful and dismissive of questions. His lectures were rambling and irrelevant, making it impossible to learn. Grading was inconsistent, with random feedback. He showed clear favoritism. A total waste of time. Never again!
He is very nice when giving lectures and will tell you to trust the process. In the end, he will mark everything and you will have no chance to talk to him. You will end up getting a bad grade. Do yourself a favour, don't ruin your CGPA.
