Difficult to understand, and not interested in answering questions. In the beginning my class had 35 people, 10 people were left by midterm.

Awful Teacher
Dr. Trehan is an awesome teacher. He explains the topics thoroughly and KNOWS what he talking about. He also provides extensive reviews for tests. As long as you study for his class, you'll do great. Too bad he isn't teaching MA181, or I definitely would have signed up for his class!
Tries to cover almost everything in the textbook.Moves very Fast.I've heard of easier teachers. If you are interested in math take him, but if you just need the class then find an easier teacher.
He is an awesome teacher! if you don't understand something he will make time and repeat it. the minute he sees a confused look on your face he will go back and repeat. he makes himself very available so if you have any questions he is willing to answer them. you can't miss classes but he allows time for test reviews. Take is class if possible!
his class is realy hard. it is hard to understand what he is teaching
Great Teacher! Fairly easy, funny accent, helpful at ALL times, Test reviews are VERY VERY helpful. Recommended to all. :)
THE WORST professor in Montgomery college never willing to help his students and just expects students to know everything. The only thing good is in his quiz and test reviev packet some questions come. Accent hard to understand and doesn't compromise with his students. Pleaseeeeeee his class is a NO NO!!!
Willing to help students. Tests are straight from the homework. Do all the homework he assigned and you will be alright. Good Luck!!
Definitely tries to help students understand the material. Sprinkles class time with personal stories
Worst teacher! He will explain material that is in the book that's already worked out. He expects you to know everything he explains. Our first exam, 20 people failed out of a class of about 28. I mean 20 got below a 70. I recommend that you do not take him at ALL!!!
Horrible Teacher! Had for online class and book was completely useless and zero clarity on material expected for tests. Never answered any questions and late on giving out grades for tests. DO NOT TAKE!!!!
I had him for an online class and it was the worst online class I've ever had (and I've had plenty). He did not put much work into teaching, just uploaded textbook pages online along with homework exercise (does NOT use the easy MathXL). Tests were NOT what he gave for review and some questions were not even what we studied. Please, think twice bef
I ever never seen unfair teacher like him. He also dis courage students.when we ask him questions he gets made. he pay back that by making exam harder I recommend all students; please do not take his class.
He tries to be helpful, but it really doesn't turn out that way. Reviews aren't very helpful. He has a great personality, but not that great as a professor. If you have no other choice and have to take him, just follow all the assigned homework and you'll probably get at least a C. I do not recommend his class.
WORST INSTRUCTOR EVER IN LIFE!!!
Trehan is a very astute in his knowlegde of Calculus, but when he teaches it feels like memorization. He is too arrogant. He said, "There is no reason that you should not get an A in my class if you do what I say", but he doesn't take into consideration that calculus is challenging to some, and that statement puts those people down.
Good teacher. He teaches clearly and makes sure students understand the problems before he moves on. I got a B in the class. In order to do well in the class, students must do the MathXL assignments consistently, do all test review problems, and take advantage of helpful group review sessions. If you work hard, you will do well in class.
Good teacher. Keeps you motivated and is very helpful. I'm not in his class for Calculus 2, but he still offered to help me. As long as you do your homework and work hard, you will succeed. Take advantage of the large amount of homework problems he assigns -- it will only help you do better. Practice makes perfect.
The Worst prof. Ever to enter the world of College teaching. If you want to become a failure in life, I recommend you take his class, because you will attain your goal of becoming an utter failure. His teaching skills are pathetic and His grading feedback is highly intolerable. He disgusts me as a Calculus teacher. He knows Calculus but he def. Doe
TOOK HIM FOR DL. worse teacher on earth. GOT AN A, was a miracle. do NOT take this pre-calc online..especially with him, nvr answered e-mails, no way to contact, bad feedback, horrible course material, students left w/ little communication...-100 sigh.
Professor was much better than other calculus professors I have had. Works through clear examples on the board that prepare students well for the test. Contrary to the complaints of a few inept students in the class, his course was very easy if you take it even remotely seriously.
3 exams, 1 double weighted final. I did well on the tests, was a bit shaky on the final. I took this class in the summer, so I didn't put as much effort as I could have. Nonetheless, if you're willing to work hard you should be fine. Professor is helpful and grades fairly. Overall, I think the majority of the class kept a B or C.
I don't know if this professor wanted to teach or not. But this is the laziest professor I ever have in my life. Summer class is really hectic with this guy and his teaching style is weird and really confusing. If you want to score a good grade in MA282 during a summer class, please do not take this professor.
Overall this class is more independent in the summer, but Prof. Trehan was always there in his office to help. We sat there and literally went through all the mistakes I made on my tests and ended up making a B in this class which I think is amazing since it is a lot of information in just 5 weeks.
Professor Trehan was very helpful, taking another class with him.
Good Professor..take this class to learn something in calculus!
Professor Trehan is readily available when students have questions or concerns, via email and office hours. Justly, he expects students to be self-motivated and to actually read the e-text and complete the practice problems. If a student devotes the proper amount of time, he or she will do well.
Great teacher, always willing to help.
vey good professor
Took this class online, and thanks to the help of Professor Trehan, I came through with a B. I'd take another class from him for sure.
Online class-only five grades for whole semester which were all exams. No points for homework. The exams never seemed to be something I learned in the textbook (which was the worst math text I've ever had, dozens of typos that cost me LOTS of time). I don't suggest taking this class online at all, ever.
Greatest Math teacher ever. Took him over the summer. the class was supposed to be hard but I found it to be very easy.. take him and differential equations will seem like college algebra. lol
I took this course online, due to the fact I work full time. He scheduled 2 tests that had to be done in person, both at 3pm in the middle of the week. Also, he rarely responded to emails, and did not return graded tests, but told us to use the tests to study. I would NOT recommend taking this class online with him!

One of the worst math professors in that school, he tries to get along with all the rude kids and wastes a lot of time going over the homework...but if you cheat you will pass. congrats to most of the cheaters whom passed.
I Dont recommend this professor, he doesn't help at all, the way he teaches has to be his way. He tries to be funny and get along with the bad kids in my class and it doesn't help. If you give the right answer on a quiz or test but forgot put parentheses or something he marks it wrong. I Don't recommend him at all.
I took MA180 Precalculus online. He is very helpful and very supportive. when ever I approached him with my doubts, he explained with examples. he is always available for us. he is very encouraging and helped us to achieve A grade. If anyone looking for A in precalculus You better be in Amit Trehan's class. I wish all success. WORK HARD u'll get A
I took his online precalculus class in spring 2011 and got Grade A. I practiced his material for all exams. For final I practiced similar examples of all question that came in four exams. I scored 100%. He is very helpful and nice person. Don't hesitate to ask your doubts. He is always there to help you get A in this class.
DO NOT HAVE THIS TEACHER FOR THIS CLASS. He is good for pre calc and maybe another class, but not for this one especially during the summer. He didnt follow the syllabus, was always late to class. If you have to take this class with him, make sure you can teach yourself and that you have a lot of free time on your hands.
The first day of class he told us that mostly (if not all of us) would fail. He seemed to get annoyed when people asked questions and would respond rudely. He wasn't very clear when explaining math problems. I would not recommend this professor if you are not good or have troubles in math.
I loved the way he taught us. He knows his subject and makes sure that he covers all areas needed. Great teacher, make sure you know pre-cal well before you sign up for his class. He is a very fair grader.
He was not very much help. I picked this class based upon the nice remarks that were made about him on here for this course in specific. He might be an alright professor in person but online forget about it.
Wont get much from coming to class. He puts a problem on the board and asks you to solve it.After you mess it up for about 10 minutes he shows you how to do it(not clearly either). On the plus side, his exams come straight from his study guides.Down side is that those are your ONLY grades. If you cant learn math on your own out of a book, stay away!!
you must help your self to pass his class, he sometimes doesn't change questions on exams and quizzes, but he doesn't give clear lecture, just a little bit of explanation. if you are a risk taker and will spend a lot of time studying, it's easy to make good grades in his class.
He is just OK. Not really helpful but his tests are easy
Register for his class. Then think about your life. If you like it, drop it very quickly. But if you feel like wasting it, then carry on!
Please do not register for his class. I don't know about his other classes, but in Calculus 1, he was terrible. He don't answer questions well, doesn't check assignments and wasn't helpful overall. I dropped his class, it was that bad!!!
From the first day, he was late to class, and comes late and unprepared almost every day, leaving everyone to sit there in silence for 10 minutes. In between teaching topics unclearly, he often randomly leaves the room for minutes at a time. The tests are way harder than what he teaches. Don't take him.
if u choose to take his class then get ready to teach yourself. personally will not recommend him to any student. but try your luck!!!!
Not the best teacher, good guy he will work with you. He puts effort in his classes
If you're behind in his class by even a little, he scolds you and demands that you catch up quickly or drop the class unless you're a girl. I was a little behind in his class last year and he told me to drop the class, not suggested. He then walked to a girl in front of me who was further behind and offered her private tutoring at his office!
GREAT PROFESSOR IF YOU PAY CLOSE ATTENTION, OTHERWISE YOU WILL HAVE TO TEACH YOURSELF. DOESNT STRESS YOU IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM.
He clearly knows how stuff but his teaching is awful. His class is 2 hours and 15 minutes long and you'll learn nothing for the whole time. He stumbles about and often leaves the classroom in the middle of explaining something. He also will project the book onto the board in order to "explain" a subject.
GET READY TO TEACH YOURSELF I TOTALLY NOT RECOMMEND HIM SINCE DAY ONE HE WAS TELLING US TO DROP THE CLASS AND HE NEVER ANSWER QUESTIONS WHEN YOU RAISE YOUR HAND HE WILL LOOK AWAY AND IF HE DID HE WILL BE RUDE YOU
Trehan is a good teacher, present for students during office hours, and encourages you. As long as you STUDY at HOME and PAY attention in CLASS, you will have good grades. He tells everybody the keys to pass his class. People complaining about him do not often work at home. Exercices are from the book. There is no secret: Practice makes perfect!
Take in class lectures if you are going into Math fresh (if its been a long time since you've touched the subject). You're going to have to teach yourself EVERYTHING (if you don't live near takoma/ss campus. cuz driving over an hour for MAYBE an hour of help?). taught myself everything, my interest level balanced how much i've learned.. 3%. tragic
Prof. Trehan is a very knowledgable teacher. Focuses more on doing a lot of practice exercises and very clear when he explains.A class to take if you really want to improve your math skills and test yourself.
Generally clear and straightforward lectures; focuses on the practical things you need to know; if you have a question, ask and you'll get an answer. Yes, he's very blunt about the pass rate, doing homework, etc. The bottom line is: it's a demanding course, expect to do a lot of work, and he's up front about it. I'm satisfied with my experience.
Went in for a follow-up session after a particularly bad test to figure out where I went wrong and what I could do better. He then proceeded to just solve the problems on the test without explaining the concepts and suggested that I had no right to be in the class because I obviously couldn't understand any of it. (I had a B+ average at that point)
Amit is the best math Professor I've had so far. He is on point on every thing. He Inspires you to love math. The secret to his classes is simple, DO THE EXERCISES!!! make sure you read everything in the text book also. Exams are very fair. He is available during his office hours . If you want to improve your math , He is your guy.
The professor has a knowledge, but he do not know how to explain it. not interesting class. you have to struggle by yourself. do your review sheets you will be fine.
don't take him
He's so hilarious and makes alot of jokes while teaching and try to relates it to what he is teaching. He knows the stuff but doesn't know how to explain well to the students. Thats why many people end up dropping out from his class because all he does is ask you to copy and try to understand by yourself. Other than that ill rate him a 3/5
This man doesn't talk about anything at all. All he does is say do your homework and you'll succeed, but we have to teach ourselves.
Just need to follow the lectures, pay attention, and do assignments, you will get an B or A easily.
If you want to learn Math then he is the guy. The course is very demanding though. You have to do your homework otherwise it will not work. He is available for office hours and is happy to help.
Very sharp professor. It's expected that students will do a lot of studying and practicing on their own, but he presents multiple opportunities to go over specific problems in class. It's a bit of work to do all the homework, review sheets, quizzes, and tests, but he's a fairly lenient grader and you'll come away with a solid conceptual foundation.
Not good at teaching. You just end up teaching yourself. Dont take him
THIS GUY WAS REALLY ANNOYING AT TIMES BUT OVERALL, HE WAS THE BEST. I LOVE YOU AMIT.
Calculus takes a lot of outside study, but he's around campus at tutoring center and office hours. He really gets your questions, even when you don't know how to voice your misunderstanding, and always answers succinctly to the underlying misunderstanding whether it's an algebra or calculus issue. He really wants you to succeed. Great guy overall.
Doesn't teach you, he just sets up the textbook on a projector and skims through it.. in class. Anyone can do it at home. He does not teach the material that will be on the tests.
The best professor ever! :D I decided to study mathematics as major after having taken his class. He's a really inspirational person.
Dr. Trehan is a solid choice for Calculus I. There was a lot of homework from Webassign, three exams, three quizzes, and the final. Started with 28 people and ended with 13. I work full time, so I had to take his class in the evening. I did not take Precalculus and did fine. Brushen up on trig and the unit circle.
He's not skilled lecturer, but he is an incredible tutor. YOU MUST ASK QUESTIONS IN CLASS. He will breeze past material otherwise, and he is gifted at picking up on misunderstandings that are tough to verbalize. He has an open door policy at office hours and the tutoring hall, and that is where he really shines. Fair grader with good feedback.
Professor Trehan is very straight forward. He explains material well. Examining material ahead of class will definetely help a lot. He answers all of your questions. You'll be fine if you are ready to put in effort!
He is very straightforward and he cares about his students. The tests are exactly from the review questions. There are two quizzes and three tests throughout the semester. Don't miss the lectures, you will do better if you attend it. He is a great professor.
Prof. Trehan worked diligently to make sure assignments were met and the class time was used appropriately for understanding and comprehension. Taking his class i enjoyed very much and i feel i got the most out of his class. I would definitely take him again for a math course as he is well educated and understands the courses that he teaches.
Professor Trehan is very knowledgeable and caring professor. I can say he is the best in math. He explains the concept very clearly, and allows you to solve the problems in the class to understand. He gives some problems as extra credit which are not hard to solve. By studying review sheet for the exams you can get good grade easily.
He is the only a math professor who teaches how math is related to the real world. I would love to take the class again. He is very straightforward and the tests are exactly from the review questions. There are three quizzes and three tests throughout the semester. He is a great professor. I highly recommend prof Amit
Professor Trehan is teaching math in a very good manner. Even if you are not good in math, he will show you lot of interesting applications of calculus and math to real life situations. Exams are easy if you study the review sheet and practice problems. He is accessible all the time in tutoring center.
It really sucks taking an online course and not having a communicative professor. The course is entirely on webassign so he does no teaching whatsoever. He doesn't post anything on blackboard, including grades, it's completely empty. I had to find out my grade from my transcript at 11 pm the day grades were due.. my experience is that he's unprof.
You will not be able to understand this professor. He goes over subjects quickly and doesn't go wait for his students to completely understand the subject. Beware when he calls on you too because he will put you on the spot and call you out if you get it wrong. Never taking his class ever again.
Amazing professor!
He is an amazing professor. Doing his home works and test review sheets is very helpful for the tests and quizzes. you will love math because of this professor.
He is fast somehow
Professor Armit is a very good professor who understands students. He is very lenient and he truly helps student if they are willing to be helped. he is very calm and well collected, easy grader, make sure you study the review questions because they will show-up again during test, quiz and exams. He is very welcoming and accessible. Best ever.
Dr. Trehan is a great teacher. Statistics isn't easy, but he makes it easy to understand . Dr. Trehan makes sure everyone participates and insures that everyone understand the material before moving on to the next topic.
Amit Trehan is a friendly professor with a very straightforward approach. Reading the textbook, doing homework, and listening to lectures is your key to success for this class. There are no surprises to speak of, like pop quizzes or tests. That said, his class moves quickly, and the assessments are frequent. So be proactive! Statistics Student
This is my 2nd time taking Prof Trehan (for two different math courses). And I can say with confidence, that he is a great teacher. I have learned the most math in my entire life with Proff Trehan and I encourage others to take his course. It was a privilege to learn from him. As long as you do the work, you will pass
Class is mainly used to explain the homework. Make sure to complete the online work because that is a major part of the class. The professor can help with difficulties in the online textbook and missing class will definitely set you back if you miss more than two classes in a row. Overall the class isn't too hard and the professor does a good job.
He just read from the projector. He doesnt let students exercise questions.
Please heed the warning of these reviews and take them strongly into consideration. I took him over Winter term for Intro Statistics and the class was a disaster - the textbook link didn't work, many students expressed concerns but were never responded to, and deadlines in the syllabus were incorrect. It was just a mess. Save yourself the headache.
He doesnt want to wait until students become able to solve problems by themselves. He doesnt give any credit if you do minor error when you solve complicated problems. Once, he took much time for lecture and gave us the remaining minutes to complete a quiz.
... continued He gives test review sheet, but the last test and the final exam were much harder than the questions on the review sheets. Many students who had potential have dropped the course nearly to the end of the semester, which is a time and money loss.
The professor confused numbers on notes before which make it harder for some of us and never responds to the class discussions where we are told to submit questions If it weren't for my co worker, I would've never passed the class. He's a math major and admits his notes are difficult to understand and unclear.
He is a good teacher who masters his material, and expects students to understand the concepts and work for the grade, not just pass without proper mastery. His class is not so interesting, but he is available to answer to any issue you have, and may go to explain the basic algebra and trig needed.
I took Math 181 & 182 with Professor Trehan. Easy teacher, he tells you everything you need to know to pass the course. All homework on webassign, quizzes come from it, do the test review on webassign and the tests are exactly like the reviews, except with different numbers. You do all of that, you can get at least a B, just pay attention in class!
Professor Trehan is the BEST for math. His exams are fair and based on study sheet. He gives students very helpful feedback. Learning math is easy in his class.
Never take his online class. You have to pay for a learning service, Webassign, and you have to read just four chapters of a textbook over the semester, 150+ hw questions per chapter, all case-sensitive, none give feedback. When he forgot to post a test, us students had to contact the math department because he doesn't answer his posted email.
Professor Trehan might be a wonderful professor in person, but distance learning is not his strong suit. We have not followed the syllabus at all. he does not respond to emails promptly. He has no control over the class whatsoever. He does not help you and will accuse you of lying if you have difficulty with the online software.
His online class is terrible. Don't take it unless you really have no other choice. He doesn't give any feedback and gets mad when you ask a question. You can't reach him through his email. He's smart and obviously knows his calculus but he can't teach.
Lectures are decent. Very inconsistent with emails- usually doesn't respond. Makes you pay for a website: all homework and test are on here. The test are very similar to the reviews, if you do those you should be getting no less than a B.
If you are self-motivated and ready to learn, this isn't a bad class. The professor is not the best at explaining things at times, so it is up to you to understand the material. I used his classes more as practice and review than for really learning the material. DO THE HOMEWORK- the prof will notice and it's a crucial part in the learning process.
Great prof. He makes you work for the grade you get. He is quite patient and expects you to grow because of that. Ask your question clearly and he will clarify you. If you don't work, you will probably end up with a C or even a D, which is a good thing because it is a critical course and you need to understand it. I recommend
we had 3 quizzes and 3 test then the final exam. all hw is on webassign including the test and stuff. PLEASE DO THE HW AND REVIEWS THAT PROFESSOR POSTS ON WEBASSIGN. the test end up being the EXACT SAME only with just numbers changed. No tricks whatsoever on the quizzes and tests. overall okay professor. just do the work and youll pass easy.
To be honest, come to class without any expectation. If you want to pass the class, you will need to visit the tutoring center, so the tutor can explain it to you. Anyway, you will need to learn most of the chapters on your own. Most of the exams' exercises are the same exercises that you saw in your homework. Just do the HW, and you will pass.
Professor Trehan is a clear expert in math. Come in to his class with motivation to learn and earn his respect. Quizzes and exams are molded after the webassigns so make sure to keep up with those!! As long as you are respectful and communicative, Professor is open to accommodate you, give you career and academic advice.
Lectures can be confusing but the exams and quizzes are practically the same as the homework and study guides. Study extra if you're struggling.
Really good professor.Understanding caring. He replaces your final grade with any bad test result you got to boost your grade.100% recommend him.
I took this class Summer I 2022 and it was a pretty good class. It was asynchronous and everything was on Webassign. He released all of the homework and quizzes and test reviews at once and you have a deadline for it to be done. He gives a lot of extra credit and replaces your lowest test score with your final exam grade! I recommend him!
Save your money and listen to the reviews. He makes math for difficult then it is. Hard to understand. So many people dropped
Professor covers a lot of examples in each section. His method of teaching makes problems simpler to understand and even though this was an online class he leads the class to participate in problem solving and I have enjoyed that interaction. l will definitely take calculus II with Dr. Trehan.
Professor was the best Math Professor I had in a while. He cares for his students grades and gives a lot of extra credit. If you are not willing to do the easy things to get your grade up this isn't the class for you. The only thing he asked us to do for the extra credits was to go and review our homework with our tutor which is free.
He is an amazing professor. He truly cares about his students and wants them to succeed. He is always able to answer questions and explains math concepts very well. The homework is very helpful in preparing for tests and quizzes and learning the material. He has extra credit opportunities. He is a fantastic teacher, and I highly recommend his class
Took him for an online statistics class and everything on the Blackboard was created by another teacher. No textbook just links to different pdf files that offer little to no help with the assignments and quizzes. Made seemingly simple topics take hours as I had to teach myself the different topics and units.
Not a great experience. If you're a visual learner, do not take this class. If you want a teacher that makes concepts easy to understand, don't take this class. He reads off slides and doesn't add any helpful information. When you ask for help, he repeats the same thing he said before. Practice tests are not accurate to the real tests. Not helpful.
Can be a bit hard to follow along during lectures at times. However, he provides ample of extra credit opportunities and homework to boost your grade fairly easily.
This class is very straighforward if you stick to doing all the homework, which should not be too much. The questions there are the same as on the test. The homework, as homework goes is pretty pleasant to do although the learning curve, curves a little upward at the end. However the professor is helpful, especially if one reaches out.
The class is very easy as long as you can follow along and do the homework. In my case, the homework was all on MyLabMath which, despite that site being incredibly annoying, allowed me to redo the homework until I got a 100. As long as you do the homework and pay relative attention in class, you'll be fine.
He is an amazing Professor, he encourages his student to success, not tough with grading, once you attend class and do your assignment you will definitely pass the course.
He's nice, and I'm sure he means well, but A BIG critique I have about this professor is that he RARELY writes on the board. His boring and monotone lectures can improve so much if he just did this. The energy of the class was always lifeless as a result of him not being able to connect with the class as a whole. I really had a hard time learning.
I feel bad bc he has good intention but sucks. We were weeks behind other classes. Classes were so useless attending he just read of slides and didnt really help if you had questions. He would repeat same things. Half the class dropped the class. IF YOURE A VISUAL LEARNER DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. I am one too and had to go home to teach myself.
I personally am adaptable to many kinds of teachers so I didn't have problems with him that other student might've had. He does have a tendency of droning and sometimes expressing our confusion was difficult but otherwise he was fine. He is genuine and reasonable so I liked him but if you have a short attention span, do not take him.
Professor went over and explained the material well. He tells us what we need to know for the test and assignments and gives us plenty of examples and help to learn the work.
The professor is very caring and ensures that students understand the material well. They also assign a lot of homework to help reinforce learning. Overall, a great learning experience in this course. I will definitely take a class this professor again
He teaches with patience and makes sure that the particular topic is understood.
A lot of people say that he is a hard professor but I think if you have a strong base in precalculus, it will be easy to take calulus with him. He takes his time to explain, and he is flexible with the grading part
I do not usually like math, but this professor is amazing. He will make you love math. H is so comprehensive and has a very unique way of explaining notes for students to understand and always bonus points when for participation. Do not hesitate to choose if you intend to do math165. He is awesome.
Really cool teacher
This professor is really encouraging and helpful.
Has interesting anecdotes from his past classes.
Very understanding professor. Study guides are very helpful.
He gives a lot of assignments
Professor Amit Trehan is one of the most inspiring and knowledgeable instructors. His lectures make complex topics accessible and interesting. His feedback on assignments is constructive and very helpful, aiding significantly in our academic growth.I highly recommend his classes to anyone looking to truly understand and enjoy the subject matter.
Was a great learning class and he is always willing to help you once you have a problem relating to the course
He is very cool and he's clear in is explanation
He is a very good teacher. To be honest I wouldn't take any other teachers beside him because before tests he gives a review sheet and If students do the review sheet questions hopefully they are going to become successful in this course. also he teaches a good lecture by using each chapters and units.
This class is challenging if you dont put in time outside of class. The teacher really cares and wants his student to pass. Id take his class for calc as well. Id recommend him as he will teach you math and help you learn the importance of diligence . Great professor
He is a great teacher and mentor, doing his best to advice us and bring out the best of us.
Amazing professor. Gives the best advices to students.
Great professor who makes the class engaging and understandable. Review sheets and homework help cement the concepts. Attendance is mandatory, but worth it. Unstuck study and the free textbook are super helpful for studying alongside the lectures.
This teacher explains the math in depth. With him you don't need to log anything, you clearly understand
Isn't my cup of tea but it's different for everyone.
The lectures are great! He opens the book in class and seamlessly breaks down every step used in the book. He goes over concepts by reading and explains the concepts afterwards. He then gives students a chance to work on examples, and he works on the problem and makes sure no one has a question. There is plenty of time to write your notes in class!
A very good professor. He explains the math very clearly and very easy to understand. He gave us extra resources and videos helps me a lot. Strong recommend his class.
ProfessorTrehan explains precalculus clearly and uses great examples to make tough topics easier to understand. The lectures are well-structured, and he uses examples that are helpful. If one is willing to put in the effort, you'll definitely learn a lot. I would absolutely takethis professor again.Don't hesitate to ask questions and do ur own study
I failed Precalc twice before, but Prof. Trehan made learning easier. He explains clearly, welcomes questions, extra credit for attending tutoring and is very understanding with deadlines. If you follow his study advice and put in the time(8+hrs/week), you'll pass. Despite the challenge, this was my favorite class and he's the best teacher Ive had.
Professor Trehan is a great professor. He explains complex subjects with a lot of diligence. He is very truthful about his class. The hours of commitment that he mentions are real to succeed in this class. He created a grading system so that even if you messed up with the first exam, you still have a chance to get an A.
Professor Trehan is a great professor. His lectures are descriptive and thoroughly explained step-by-step. If there are technology problems, he will try to fix it and be lenient if he cannot. The weights of homework/tests are almost the same, so long as you put in the work and pay attention in class, you will pass. Don't hesitate to ask questions!!
Dr. Trehan truly cares about his students. I used to hate math and was failing, but I ended up getting an A. He explains things in a way that actually makes sense and makes hard problems feel doable. He's always there to help and pushes you to do your best. You do have to show up and put in the effort, but it's so worth it. TAKE HIS CLASS!!
Dr. Trehan really cares about his students and wants them to do well in life. The lectures are boring but if you take notes, show up, and put in effort you'll do well. He doesn't post on blackboard, so test and quiz dates are announced in class. Attendance isn't taken but is helpful if you need outside help or extra credit.
