Amazing teacher. I'm a straight guy so I'm not saying that because he's "hot". Very engaging and one of the best classes I've had yet and one of only 3 prof. so far that I am willing to take again. You learn a lot about ethics and it forces you to question what is ethics as well as ethics as seen through different eyes.

I took Professor Molina's critical thinking/ethics class this past semester and found it to be quite interesting and helpful. He touched upon a wide rage of topics and I really liked that he always remained very balanced. I learned A LOT from this class - It actually makes you think.

Best professor ever! He lectures out of his head, but don't be fooled, he knows what he's talking about, harldy uses the book a couple of reading assignments. Don't ever be late for his class or you'll miss the quiz which are extremely easy just pay attention in class and you will do just fine. Hope there were more like him.

Prof. Molina is a great teacher. Class is super easy. Just make sure you show up to class on time because that's when quizzes are given. Quizzes are based on the lecture. So it's super easy. Same with midterm and final. He is so down to earth he doesn't sugarcoat. Take notes and pay attention and conversate with him and you'll pass the class.

I was skeptical about taking a critical thinking class but in the end I learned a lot and I've never had a better professor. Don't think I ever will. I sat right in the front and listened to him lecture. Discussions were always fun and very interesting. If you like Philosophy you should go to his Philosophy club meetings.

Dedicated, amusing, clever and engaging. This should be THE philosophy professor if you are not into philosophy that much, this is because he will give you a cursory concept of every topic that has to do with philosophy without going too deep into it. Thus avoiding the boring and uninteresting parts of philosophy and only giving you the best of it.

Very important don't miss class or be late you'll miss out on the quizzes. His class is easy to pass if just take your notes and past your quizzes. Prof. Molina is a great professor. The class is easy but you actually have to study. He gives weekly quizzes, a midterm, and a final. These are really really easy, he doesn't trick you or anything. They come from the notes he gives you which are not a lot. Just study 15 mins before each quiz and you will pass great professor. I got an A+.

In this class I didn't agree with half the things he said because of my point of view as a Christian but I admit that he has ethics. Thus, Im very open minded. Didn't really speak at all but aced his midterm and final by studying the notes and assigned readings and never absent or late.

He is an awesome professor and will keep you interested. Some things he said bothered me but that made me speak up which is good cause hes big on class participation. He gives 2-5 easy question quizzes once a week and they can help your grade A LOT i wish i would've taken them more seriously to end up with an A. No HW and doesn't take attendance.

Took the 6 week course, the professor was great the notes are crystal clear. Review them for the weekly quizzes and your midterm and final. I would recommend getting the book because some of the test questions come from there and he will tell you exactly what page to read.

Took him for the B portion of the summer semester. He's honestly great: no homework assignments (just read the chapters he assigns), easy quizzes every class, and an easy midterm and final. I have had the benefits of some amazing professors at the college and he is one of them. Attendance is very important. Expect to get a quiz at least once per week and pay attention! If you value a good grade it's all up to you because he is very thorough, therefore the rest is up to you. I would take his class everyday of the week if I could.

This has to be one of the most interesting class i have taken so far in college. Very good professor, teaches clear and makes the class fun to learn. Prof. Molina really likes to teach. He makes his class very interesting and you never be boring. Exams are from the notes and readings. There are two exams (mid-term) and final. Quizzes in class.

He's a good professor lectures are very clear class is interesting and you don't need the book. BUT if you don't like written response questions(for his midterm and finals) and your in love with multiple choose don't take him. He also give out mini quizzes which you need to study for also but those are pretty easy and they help your grade a lot.

Every class is a lecture, but boy he makes you want to participate. He's HILARIOUS! And he loves to play devil's advocate. You'll never know what his real beliefs are. BUT apart from that, show up to class & take notes, you'll pass easily. Only 2 major tests, mid-term and final. NO MULTIPLE CHOICE. Even though it's SUPER easy. Would take again.

If you are looking for and easy A take him he is really funny really interesting andhe is a good person. he loves his job. they are two ig test medtern and final they are both fill the blank, firts i was scare but his test are easy if yu go to class and takes notes.

Had him for a 8am class and he came every day excited to teach. Mostly lectures, and give easy notes to remember. quizzes are word-for-word from his notes/lectures. He is very straight forward. Don't take this class if you tend to miss class a lot/ if you're late a lot. He doesn't take attendance, but being late/absent will get you a failed quiz.

One of the greatest professors I have ever taken. He makes the class fun. He doesn't write on the board, only to spell difficult names. You must attend his class everyday. He randomly gives a quiz per week. Super easy---- if you take good notes. Definitely will recommend.

The only bad thing is that sometimes he says thing to look cool but later he's doesn't do it. for example he said he doesn't care about grammar but he later he will not accept you a mistake and all the quizzes and tests are fill the blank no multiples choice questions. also he says that attendance is not mandatory but he give a lot of quizzes

One of the best teachers I have taken at MDC. He gives pop quizzes randomly throughout the week, however there is nothing on his tests that he hasn't gone over in class. Honestly, you can pass if you just take notes as much as possible. and NO TEXTBOOK :) His lectures are really interesting! I looked forward to his class every week.

heres someone who can actually teach. molina doesnt try to fool you in any way when it comes to tests and you wont be taking too many notes. his class is interesting and he tries to make the topic fun. gives pop quizzes weekly but if you study you will be fine, theyre easy. as long as you work you should get an A without a doubt.

He might offer extra credit and if you're on the border between a better letter grade, take it. Don't be lazy. If you copy everything he puts on the board and you review for his test. AMAZING! All you have to do is make sure your present. Super easy and to the point. Great lecture, every topic was clearly presented. There was a pop quiz each week but you have to come to class to know what day he would give it. There were two basic writing assignments and a midterm and final. Participation matters also. One of the Best by far.

His Lectures are great and all you have to do is show up and write the notes he puts on the board to study. ADVICE: The quizzes are always on the lectures he gave from last class or the class before that one, so what i advise is that you show up early (15-20 minutes) just to refresh your memory so you'll pass them no problem.

Professor Molina is the best professor in MDC no doubt. The class was so much fun and interactive. All you need to do is make sure you are never late for any class because he gives a quiz at the beginning of most class. It is an EASY A.

So! First thing to know is don't be late! I'm not sure if chairs were taken out on purpose but if you are late you're likely to be left standing. He gives clear notes that fit extremely well with the quizzes once a week. As for how much i studied. i managed with only studying on the way to class, not including midterm and final. Good Luck!

He is a great teacher and is very educated His class is not boring at all but at least once a week he will be giving you a short quiz on what he covered in the previous class. He has a midterm and final but each one covers one half of the semester. If you miss he short quizzes your grade will change so be on time. 10/10 recommend you take him.

If you are sleepy during school days, then Professor Molina's class is going to wake you up. It is SO INTERESTING. You may begin to change your value after you took his class. He is a truly responsible professor who cares about the quality of his lecture. Pop quiz is only about three or four questions which is not a big deal.

This man is straight to the point & keeps it real. There is no text book, no homework , & no class work. This is the kind of teacher that teaches you how to be less ignorant in life in general. A couple of advices: Don't be late for class. Don't use the phone during class, be respectful, is only about one hour out of 24. Be prepared for quizzes almost every week. if you take a 6 week course you're going to have quizzes every meeting day with him. i was lacking the first 3 weeks but got myself together afterwards you actually learn something. he hates textbook he could be very strict but he actually wants you to learn he doesn't sugar coat anything. and never be late for a quiz trust me you will fail!

Miami Dade College is lucky to have Molina. People complaining are children. I wasn't too happy with my final grade but it was my fault, a lesson I learned. I recommend this professor. He's tough but will respect you, so respect him. His class discussions are fun. Expect quizzes almost every class, I recommend flashcards. Best professor so far.

His class was fully online so we didnt even have live lectures, he would just post them written along with some videos from time to time. After each written lecture, there is a quiz. He is VERY strict on tardiness and being late, and has no tolerance for disrespect or being on the phone, and will call you out on it. The exams were easy in my opinion, and the class was a breeze. Professor Molina knows what he is teaching. He does his lectures in a way everyone can understand and often has the class participate in examples. His syllabus is relatively easy to read, and his assignments are just tests with three questions each. As long as you have your notes, the class is easy, and you actually become interested in philosophy.

Professor Molina is genuinely a fantastic professor. While he may seem a bit stern during the first few weeks, he is just trying to set up the stage for the semester. He is not particularly difficult, but you will learn a tremendous amount of philosophy if you put in the effort. I will most definitely take another course with him in the future.

i loved professor molina, he understands that most students aren't majoring in philosophy so he doesn't make the class rigorous at all. his classes are always lectures but he adds in a lot of dialogue from the students which makes the class very engaging. i learned a lot from the class and he was always accessible and helpful after class/email

The best philosophy teacher ever! Professor Molina really enjoys teaching. He's organized and straightforward. He also holds you accountable. He has a strict attendance policy but it makes you a better student. I learned so much outside of philosophy as well as modern day philosophers versus dead. He doesn't have boring ancient teaching methods.

Lectures are very interesting and will have you engaged. I'm a full time student so i had to study weekly for his quizzes, you won't know the day just be prepared. Started off with a D because i didn't take it serious but ended with an A. If you want a class to just pass without putting in work, you will fail. TAKE NOTES that is the key to passing.

Professor Molina's PHI2010 class is engaging, but you'll need to stay on top of the weekly pop quizzes. Attend every class and take detailed notes - that's the key to success. Unstuckstudy AI was a huge help for me in staying organized and acing the midterm and final.

His class at times can be scary with all the pop quizzes he gives, so make sure to study last classes materials the night before, and review them before class begins. I took him ob fall 2024. He is an amazing professor. If you even miss one class you will fall behind and he doesnt allow any late work/quizzes for any reason. He bases his grading on pop up quizzes, writing assignments in class and a presentation that is 60% of the final grade.He does not use technology at all. But his lectures are very interesting

This class was very easy! Professor Molina is an excellent teacher, his lectures are clear and easy to follow. His tests are straightforward, and as long as you take good notes and review them, you're pretty much guaranteed an A in this class.

If you want an easy A+ and you don't take Prof Molina? well I'm sorry for you. words can't explain how much I love this class.

Amazing professor!!

A class different than any other you'll take. A lot of notes, but a fascinating subject and even moreso, the professor teaching behind it. He doesn't show bias in anything, and LOVES when students participate, even if you're wrong- he'd rather not have a "zombie class." You learn a lot and study best together through Quizlet and calls, have fun.

Professor Molina made this subject enjoyable for someone who's never taken a philosophy course before. His quizzes are easy and quick, though you need to be on time for them. The midterm and final are both very clear and straightforward. He's very respectful, open to other views, and shows no bias in his arguments. Would recommend! :)

I had Professor Molina for Honors and it was super interesting and made me want to learn more about philosophy. We didn't have a final or midterm, but to replace that we had a group presentation based on a philosopher he assigned to us. It is a 20 min presentation with three members. No hw in his class just have to study. He makes class engaging!
