Amy Baldwin is definitely up there as one of my all time favorite teachers. Her psych 1 class actually inspired me to want to become a psychology teacher! She is very inspirational and she has a lot of great advice to give. Don't think twice about taking any of her classes - you'll love her!

Biopsych - Not an easy A but not hard either. Makes effort to present material clearly. Lectures are entertaining and she keeps you interested. Gives study guide for tests (multiple choice) but knowing the guide isn't enough. Test questions won't be exact with notes. You'll have to read the book thoroughly for an A.

She tries to simple it down as much as she can. Lectures and notes are mostly wt da tests r based on. Book is maybe like 10% of the class. Gr8 teacher.

Awesome Professor! She makes class really fun & you'll really learn. Drops lowest test score & will let you do an extra credit work which will help in your grade. She gives a pretest & it really helps before the test & do the reading. Ask questions as that helps a lot. Lecture starts right after test for the next chapter. I do recommend her class!

Amy is a great teacher, she explains everything in a very enthusiastic and energetic way which is good specially if you take her in the morning like I did. Be prepared to wait for her a few minutes after class starts tho other than that I have no complains. Do your online quizzes and extra credit and youll be fine :)

Shes really funny and keeps the class alive so you wont fall asleep, attendance is not mandatory but be there on the tests! I dont even know why people get a C or F or even a B on this class! its a verrryy easy A as long as you listen to her lectures, and she makes it easy. if you miss a class, she posts lectures online.

I took Ms. Amy last semester and I can tell you 100% that her classes are fun. She makes the lessons interesting enough that engages the students to pay attention. Her explanations are well condensed, ANYONE can understand her. Obviously, if you don't read and study, that's the only reason why you might think she's difficult. I would recommend her.

Amy is AMAZING!!!! I took her for Psych 1 in Spring 2010 and got an A. She's the type of teacher that makes you want to learn and come to class. The fact that she is extremely easy on the eyes also makes you want to come to class everyday. Her tests are on what she lectures. Her final is cumulative. There are weekly open book on line quizzes.

A great class and an even better teacher. Attendance in mandatory. Miss more than 4 classes and she HAS to drop you. Don't take the class if you're shy and can't talk in a group setting. She is also EXTREMELY attractive!!! :)

Amy is hands down my all time favorite teacher. I have had her for Psych 1,2,43, and 52. She makes class fun, interesting, and teaches the material extremely well. She makes a the information interesting and fun, gives many pretests to help you study, lectures are online for you to use, the final is cummulative and counts for the largest part of your grade, which can be difficult. She is helpful and entertaining!

Human Sexuality is a very interesting class with Amy. She goes into some depth and some areas I never knew much about. She seems very comfortable teaching this class, and she makes the class feel comfortable to. You feel okay about asking questions. Great teacher.

She drops your lowest test and quiz. No extra credit, but there is a research paper to do. Group work is done. Highly recommend taking her class. Not an easy A though

I took her psychology 2 class online at WLAC. She's truly amazing! She uploads modules which consist of lectures and videos that are extremely helpful. Didn't think I would like this class cause it's more biological but she made it very interesting! She's always accessible and she's very sweet. She also curves your grade.

I took Professor Amy online. Her lectures were awesome. I learned a lot from her class. I loved that although it was online, she actually lectures through slides and videos. Best online course that I've taken! It felt like I was actually in a classroom setting. Nice lady! Highly recommend.

You have to STUDY from the book and her lectures. The final is 100 questions. NO extra credit even if you ask. I studied So Much and I still got a C.

Shes a cool professor, she makes lectures fun, but it is a lot of work. It is not an easy class. I am sure because it was a winter class. Quizzes for lecture and the book which is a lot of reading, and you have to pay attention to the lecture. Weekly discussions as well.

Online accelerated Summer 5 week Psych 2 class. Must watch the videos that she made about each chapter to do the lecture tests. There are also small quizzes on the book therefore you need to read. She does give extra credit to everyone which helped boost 7-8% +. Pay attention to lecture and understand them. Pretty nice teacher.

Online courses are always a little tricky but with the right professor can be a great experience. Baldwin is very involved with her class, she is always trying new ways to teach and she really listens to feedback. She's genuinely passionate, very understanding and gives extra credit. I loved her online class! Even though the material is pretty hard, she gives you a chance by having open book quizzes. Her video lectures were always interesting and she puts videos so you can see like what its like in real life. I would love to take her again!

I love her. She's really sweet. Gives feedback. This an accelerated course so it's a lot of work crammed into little amount of time, but that should be a given. If you do the work, read the book and take notes on the lectures, you should be good.

It was my first online class and it totally helped me change the negative perspective I had about online classes. Her lectures are very clear and interesting. The tests are hard, but if you watch the lecture videos and study the book, you can pass the class successfully. She also gives good feed back after every assignment, and that's helpful.

One of the best professors in the LACCD. Films herself lecturing for online courses - makes science fun. Clear about expectations. Quizzes and tests were difficult. Lots of true false questions. Had to study hard for this course. She is quick to respond to questions. I could tell she really cares about her students and is passionate about teaching.

Although this was an online course, I've learned so much more than I have in any other class. .. excessive note taking is recommended, you will need them for your quizzes. This class is challenging but after all it's expected with PSYCH2. I recommend her if you're responsible and actually want the material to stick with you. I enjoyed her class

She is an amazing professor! I'm not going to lie her class is very test and quiz oriented which can be difficult at times, also you have to read the textbook and listen to the lectures. She really does care about her students and their overall grades. I would definitely take more of her classes! You need to take her class!

Professor Baldwin is really good at what she does. Her class is lecture heavy but it's to help the student understand Biopsychology. I was a little intimated due to learning Biopsychology, but Professor Baldwin makes this class interesting, and I am excited to work with her.

I absolutely loved her; she was so understanding if I missed an assignment, and she grades lightly. Her lectures are 15 minutes maximum, and she really makes you understand this material in an easy way. All of her assignments were worth a few points, so if you missed a couple, it won't affect your grade. I couldn't recommend her enough!

This class was good. The video lectures are concise, albeit a tad low quality. Grade is based on a long list of assignments, all of which she will grade whimsically. You'll lose half the points on a 5 question assignment because you missed one part of a single question. Other than that, she's wonderful and it's not the hardest grade I've earned.

Took 2023 Fall and honestly one of the best professors I had. She was very caring and made every lecture come to life. Made me want to come to class everytime and ready to learn. Take it from someone who hates long classes and homework. Although quizzes were sometimes tricky.
