She is always very peppy for such an early class... Lectures are pretty boring and power points are online to print off. Tests are tricky, material seems really easy, but the wording can sometimes mess you up on exams. She is always willing to help. Hazard city assigments are annoying. Show up to class because there are always in-class assignments

This class was alright. She's very peppy for class and really wants you to enjoy what you're learning. I slept through a lot of the class and still managed a B. The tests are trickier than what you would think but the notes are always available for print. There is random attendance taken. I thought it was really interesting.

I took this class last semester. The GoogleEarth labs were pretty fun, and you got a lot of interaction with different TAs. To prepare for her tests, I recommend knowing all vocabulary words and diagrams for the chapters covered in the book. Please show up to class and take notes. The teacher is nice but expects this class to be 20-30 hours of homework per week. Tons of assignments every week, along with pointless discussion posts that require you to read tons of articles. This class is a ton of work and not a blow-off class. Online assignments are tedious, no exams, but there are tons and tons of writing assignments.

Dr. Bloom is a very nice professor and this is actually the second semester in a row I have taken one of her classes. Participation or attendance is not required or necessary, as she put everything you could possibly need online for you. There is a lot of work on the online textbook and some writing assignments, none of which are difficult.

There are no tests, quizzes or final exam which is great. Professor Bloom is a very nice person, but the lectures are so long and repetitive that it can make paying attention hard. There is only one semester long project you work on, and the homework is all online. This class is an east GenEd and it covers AMALI credit which was great.

I am taking GEO135 for my AMALI and I'm glad I took it with Bloom. All of the assignments are online, attendance isn't mandatory, and 1 project is due at the end of the semester. I am taking GEO211 with Bloom again next semester to complete my SMT requirement. The writing assignments and the project are the "hardest "part of this class.

I took this for my B.S. requirement online and it was so easy! You have 1 assignment and 1 discussion each week and they are simple to do but can be time consuming some weeks. I honestly always did my assignments right before they were due and I was fine. Easy and she cares about her students! Not a lot of reading or super hard work.

Mrs Bloom is a very nice person; covering the whole world in 1 sem. doesn't do her justice. She assigns a TON of busy work and accepts none late, lectures are pretty dry and very generalized, book is very expensive, uses may platforms to assign work, and the semester project ends up being a lot more work than a final would. Prof.Bloom is a caring professor who is very passionate about the whole "tour of the world" theme. Lectures were kinda dull and rehashed the most important notes from the $100 textbook which is required to access the hmrk. Assigned things across two sites which made things confusing and there's an overall project you work on the whole semester.

This course was really easy if you do not fall behind and do the work. There is a discussion post one week, and then the following week you have to reply to two posts, and that cycle repeats. There are no exams, but there are 3 'bigger' assignments spread out through the course that are also easy.

This online class was a joke. Dr. Bloom doesn't actually teach or lecture.
