She is kind of tough but also very understanding. Willing to give extra creditand help you out if you need it. She is a hard grader but if you do the work you should be fine.

She's not the friendliest woman in the world, but her class was totally SIMPLE. I'd probably take her again. Tests were easy as hell and she gave out study guides. Final isnt cumulative!

Professor Bohnert did a great job teaching this class. The information she taught was very straightforward. Her lessons consisted of power point presentations which the students took notes on. With a little bit of studying, it is not difficult to get an A or an A- in this class.

My favorite class so far. She makes class very interesting, class activites are easy points along with the experiment hours. Gives some extra credit opportunitities and the tests are pretty straight forward, directly off notes.

Very clear teacher. Take notes on all the slide shows. Gives you a review sheet for every exam. Non cumulative. Reading the chapter helps on exam, but you dont need to. I never read the chapters and got B's on the exams. 4 exams, plus 10 EASY inclass assignments, and experimetrix participation. Very nice teacher. Highly recommended

Bohnert is an awesome teacher. Notes are very similar to the tests and she makes sure that all students understand the material. Make sure to go to class because she does not post lectures online and she gives points on certain days for being there.

She was very fun and helpful... always open to student questions even if they weren't directly related to class. Her tests required studying, but they weren't terribly difficult and the in-class assignments were not only interesting but they boosted your grades. Highly recommended.

AMAZING class - learned so much, almost considering minoring in PSYC just because of this class, when previously I wasn't interested at all. Bohnert tries to make class interesting and fun, and takes what her students want and think to heart. Not the easiest class, but if you try you'll do great.

The only thing we do in class is listen to the lecture, the only thing is she has in class assignments. The in class assignments can add to your grade a lot if you go, so that's great, but her lectures are boring. All you need to do well is the text book.

THE QUEEN OF REDUNDANCY! I'm pretty sure she needs to hear the constant sound of her voice. She will repeat things about 3 times each which gets terribly annoying. She also must conclude each sentence with "okay." If you're not a freshman, don't take this class.

As long as you pay attention in class, its an easy A. You have to be in class to get the powerpoints and her tests are weirdly worded, but as long as you spend sometime studying and put a little effort in its an enjoyable class. She can get a bit moody in class though

You would do good in this class if you had interest in this class in the first place. As for me, I'm not as interested in psyc, but maybe if I was, I would have gotten a better grade. You take lots of notes in class from powerpoints and use that to help study for the exams. Also requires you to do psyc experiments and easy in-class assignments.

She tries to trick you on tests, and emphasizes text book use. Shes not bad but should not be your first choice.

I never got the book,took some notes and ended up with a B+. Attendance is not mandatory but she has 10 in class assignments that are not announced so you want to show up. It's not the most exciting but she cracks a joke in the beginning of class and occasionally plays music. Take her!

You take a ton of notes during class and she does not put the powerpoints online. Make sure you read the book for the tests. Tests are tricky and frustrating but she is really helpful during office hours. Generally good prof but there are better choices.

She's a great professor! There are 4 non-cumulative tests based off textbook and class, but they're super easy if you look over notes and attend class. Attendance isn't mandatory but 85% of test material comes from lecture. She's funny and nice as well, I enjoy the topic and her teaching style.

She gives you a study guide prior to her 4 NON CUMULATIVE EXAMS. And if you know that material well, you will do fine. She loves what she teaches, and starts every class out with a joke. Take this class.

Absolutely loved this class! I wouldn't say I love psych, but she makes it fun. Her power points are very clear, but she does purposely leave information out of her slides so you do have to come and pay attention in class. I barely used the textbook in her class. Her tests in kind of frustrating, even if you do study. Overall, highly recommend her!

She is so passionate about psychology and makes her lectures very interesting, sometimes includes videos, and is easy to understand. You can tell she really cares about each and every one of her students. Tests are reasonable as long as you read the textbook and study.

Dr. B was an absolute joy to have as my psych professor. She's one of those professors that shares personal stuff and really wants to connect. I am doing really well in her class and I think a lot if it has to do with how awesome and clear her lectures are. She makes sure everyone is on the same page during lecture. A good Psychology professor. There is a lot of memorization for each test roughly hundred pages per test. The exams are all multiple choice. There is extra credit. She posts incomplete slides because she wants you to come to class. I felt that she did explain most concepts well and she also includes videos to liven up the lecture, which can be dry.

Very straightforward, psych studies put on by grad students for credit outside of class (get them all out of the way in the beginning) you'll be fine. pay attention in lectures and attend them all for an A, but If you don't go often but study for a night before you'll get a B. shes very interesting to listen to and I wish I could take her again!

She is really nice and her lectures are super interesting but the class is graded on like 4 things. 4 exams that are the hardest things I've ever done, but homework is a tiny part of it. You don't need to go to class but if you don't go, you wont understand 1/2 of the exam.

She is a great professor and lectures are detailed which helps for when the test comes. Tests are straight forward and have more like examples rather than focusing on the definition. Its also important to know the definition so that we know what the question is asking. She assigns 10 IMHs for 10 pts each which are easy to write.

Professor Bohnert is so kind, helpful, and interesting. Her PSYC101 class is definitely hard but you end up really learning the material. Her lectures are incredibly interesting and she is very good about responding to emails if you have questions. I was also in a class of 160 kids and she remembered my name. Take her if you can!

Professor Bohnert is a caring, sweet professor. Her lectures can be kind of dry and drag on for hours especially for a T/TH class. She has 4 tests including a noncumulative final and 10 IMHs that are participation points as long as you do them. Tests are hard and require studying beforehand and this is a little difficult to be an introductory class

Make sure you understand and do not skim over what you're learning about. She is a pretty funny professor and often talks about her kids as examples. She also weekly small easy assignments (they are very easy points). I just say make sure you know the material because the exams are quite detailed.

Remember to do your IMHs and abstracts at the end of the semester and study hard for exams. Lectures are posted one week before exams. No critical thinking required in this class, all from memory. Non cumulative final. Never showed up for class since it wasn't mandatory

Tests are very difficult

by far one of my favorite professors. i had talked to her about possible career options as a psych major at the beginning of my freshman year and she was so open and kind. her lectures are some of the best i have taken, if you arent a psych major possibly take someone else because the point of her lectures are to learn the material. shes fantastic

Dr. Bohnert is amazing! For a 101 class, you learn so so much material and she encourages critical thinking/applying the material. Textbook is required but you really only need to skim, exams are based off of the lectures. Lectures can be long but entertaining, as she's clearly an expert in her field. Final is non-cumulative.

You have to go to class in order to do in class assignments. Her tests are difficult, but as long as you study the bolded things in the textbook and half-listen to lectures you will be fine. I loved her! Super kind!

Professor Bohnert is the best!! I actually looked forward to going to her class. A lot of students only showed up on exam day and I think they did fine but I went to every lecture and did completely fine in her course. Exams are a mixture of lecture material and textbook material so you don't haaaavvveee to read the textbook but it helps a lot.

she was a really good prof for 101 if you are a PSYCH MAJOR!!! important detail there, i felt bad for all the nursing majors because her exams were in person scantrons while all other classes weren't and she doesn't put a heavy emphasis on reading even though most of the exams were over the book, super knowledgable prof though so def recommend

Enjoyed the professor -- she's great, extremely helpful, caring & funny (would give students chocolate before every exam). Was also very accessible and willing to accomidate if communicated with. Class was tough tho. 4 exams = 70% of total grade. Lots of information for each exam (6 slideshows worth of info). Just keep in mind, you'll put in WORK.

ONLY REVIEW YOU NEED! Dr. B is so caring and replies to emails fast. The class however is not so slay. You're typing lecture notes the entire time and reading a textbook chapter (50-60) pages each week and you can't skim because some things on there are on exam. EXAMS ARE HARD!!! you need to study WEEKS in advance. Not an easy class for freshman :(

Dr Bohnert is super knowledgeable in psychology, and she gives lots of real-world examples from her experience as a clinical psychologist. Tests can be difficult, but you will be fine as long as you study and take notes. Take home quizzes every week and in class responses but as long as you do 6 you get full credit

Professor Bohnert's PSYC101 class is engaging and manageable, especially with the help of study tools like Unstuck AI. The lectures are interesting, and she's very approachable. While the tests can be challenging, the textbook and in-class assignments provide good preparation.
