Great personality! Very nice, friendly, and helpful. Lectures were fun, clear and easy to understand. Gives review guides before every exam. Even gives out candies and chocolates to the class!

Shes pretty funny and keeps the topics interesting by making the subject relevant to every day circumstances. I recommend that you take her if you want to major in that field because she definitely knows what she is talking about.

Interesting and fun teacher. She gives like 5 tests and drops the lowest grade. One final and then a short research paper which isnt too bad. She gives a few extra credit opportunities. You have to know your material and study for her tests. She gives a study guide packet for each test.

She's really nice and cool. She makes a lot of corny jokes, but she's still cool. Her class is really easy if you take all the notes, the only hard part is staying awake.

She was alot of fun, and the class was super easy, while still being informative and worth your money and time.

I recommend taking Amy for psych! Read the book and study the supplement that is also req'd for the class and you will do great on the tests! she drops the worst grade and gives extra credit opportunities throughout the semester. she makes learning the subj. intertesting. i really enjoyed the class!!

I loved this teacher. She was extremely helpful and quite funny. Her tests aren't as difficult if you study; she even gives you an outline of the chapters. You have one paper and you get months to work on it. She loves psych and you can tell. I definitely recommend her, no matter your understanding in psychology.

she is sooo sweet...if you are struggling in the class and talk to her about it she will do whatever she can to make you pass....her lectures are ok kinda made me fall asleep...maybe b/c it was in the morning but trust me its not difficult to pass her class....take her very nice lady who drinks lotz water...sip sip sip..

Clear lectures. Great sense of humor. Will go out of her way to be helpful if you need it. The material in Physiological Psych is science heavy, a lot of medical jargon, but she makes it fun. You will have to study for this class.

She is a science professor, she goes into a lot of science detail, it could be difficult if you aren't a science major, but she is very helpful and considerate. Lectures are interesting, and she is funny. She gives extra credit

I disliked any science classes. I got an F in biology in high school. However, Professor Clegg Haerich made me like biological psychology and taught me how interesting science was, so I kept studying materials. Eventually, I got an A. I still can't believe it.

She is a wonderful teacher! She's organized, follows her syllabus, puts videos on in class to watch, gives extra credit, and gives multiple choice tests. She makes physiological psychology interesting to learn. I would definitely recommend her!

She is a really good psych 2 prof. Make sure you pay attention to the lectures and do the cheat sheets they really help. It may seem like alot but she drills it in your head and makes sure its very clear. And she's always willing to talk to you if you need more help. Take her class!!

She's pretty cool. I'm neutral about the subject, but it was pretty interesting with her. She's funny. If you listen carefully, she actually tells you the majority of what is going to be on the test (seriously!). Would recommend.

I was glad when I got to this class that she was NOT boring and monotone. She is very funny and puts plenty of jokes in her powerpoints to keep you awake, because she realizes the overwhelming scientific jargon IS a bit monotonous at times. A big plus is that she always gives points on tests for questions that a majority of the class missed.

She's a cool professor. She easy to relate to. She tends to go off topic a bit but its always interesting. The class I took was a bit too long (3 hours straight!) though so I am not ecstatic about her like some of the others. But I am sure that if you take a shorter class then she'll be perfect.

She makes the class very easy to get through. There are a lot of opportunities for extra credit and although the tests can be hard if you don't study the book,she has a great study guide to go along with the course. I got over 100% in the class and enjoyed every minute of it.

funny professor. she offers extra credit in the form of "cheat sheets" (8pts) before every test. Bumped my test score from c to b. only 4 multiple choice exams(not including final), no class work. she drops your lowest exam score!

She is great! This was my 1st semester back in 5yrs, she made it easy. If you attend class take notes and read the text your golden! Memorize is the key!

Makes a boring class pretty interesting. STUDY STUDY STUDY! You MUST study your butt off if you want to get an A in this class, but that doesn't necessarily make the class difficult. It is what you make it. I'd recommend her, and would definitely take her if she taught other Psych classes.

This class drove my insane. It's a LOT of material, take it during the longer semesters if you're going to take it. I got a well deserved A but I worked my butt off. She does her best to make it not so boring & tedious. She's a good teacher, just the subject & work is whats hard, do the extra credit!

She is ok. No hw but you HAVE to read/use supplement and study notes to get an A. I was taking 16 units this sem and got a B without full effort. Coming to class is essential to your grade so you know whats on the test. Lots of extra credit so take advantage.

I found this class to be highly interesting. Favorite class last term. She is very straight forward. The entire course grade is based on 6 exams and one paper (which is like homework). She drops your lowest exam. As long as you read all the material (including her supplement) and use her study guides, you can get an A. Takes work but it's college!

Really good-spirited professor I must say. But in this course's entirety... DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AN EXCESSIVE WORKLOAD/STUDY TIME FOR YOUR OTHER CLASSES. Her class involves a lot of reading and studying just for her difficult exams so if you are going to classes full-time, I don't recommend taking her.

She is by far, the most helpful teacher I've had at RCC. She truly sets you up to succeed and pass her class, it's just up to the individual to want to work for it. She gives a few extra credit points on every chapter test (but nothing that'll save you if you bombed an exam). Though her heart is in the right place, the lectures killed me slowly...

Review your study guide and supplement!! Don't miss class because her notes are based on the test!

Fall 2016 really cool and is extremely approachable as her any questions she will always try to help. I recommend getting the text book because there are questions that are clearly on the test not in her guide she provided a guide that really helps with the direction of the class Using them side by side and you will pass&DO CHEAT SHEETS++++

Amy is an amazing person & professor. Shes so smart & funny & knows what shes talking about. the content is very hard but she tries to explain it the best she can. You NEED to read the book & supplement bc the lecture alone wont help. If you aren't that great at bio then just put a lot of time & effort into studying! 5 tests, 1 "paper", & a final.

Amy is a wonderful teacher, her lectures are dense but she keeps them fun and light-hearted. She always tries to be very clear and will sometimes repeat her points many times to do so. There is a lot of extra credit opportunity! If you skip class though, you will get behind. Overall, great class!!

I took her class in the midst of Covid-19 and to experience her online and in class I'd say she's a very good professor. For online, It is up too you to open the slides and study the material. In class she lectures. Exams is all you're graded on but lots of extra credit given. Book is recommend but I never used it & no zoom call lectures. take her!

Professor Clegg Haerich is very awesome - took her for fall20. She gives so many resources to help you succeed. Do all of the study guides (they're very detailed), do her cheat sheets (EC and helps study), and NETWORK with your classmates for a study group. She's very funny, talks about her kids, and brightens lecture with a dog pic of the day!!

I took her fall 2020, Very sweet and caring. Genuinely wants you to do good and she adds humor to her notes, quizzes, and tests (adds silly question and gives u the answer) . Only one paper due and it's an opinion paper, other than that there's 2 quizzes,3 tests and 1 final exam.

extra credit is available for each of the exams. there is a lot of reading, the whole class is just reading and then taking an exam like every 3 weeks or so. i am not a reader so it was a bit difficult for me to pass the class

Amazing teacher, beside the fact that her exams were hard everything else was easy I love her class! She is very caring and understanding. Her notes are well written and her class was easy to follow.

She is very funny and puts random animal photos in her slideshows! Overall she is very chill and wants students to stress as little as possible. She provides resources that provide lots of details about what you know for her tests and final exam. If you study the notes and slides then you should get a good grade.

i loved haerich as a professor! psych material is a lot regardless of the teacher, but haerich provided tons of help. her 'lectures' are fun and memorable, which made it easier to get through the material! get ready to read and take good notes, as well as revise a lot! the exams are a bit challenging, but if you study, you'll do fine! highly recc!!
