This Class is HARD & confusing due to all kinds of consolidations of financial statements. The exams are not very easy to take too because combining the mechanics of consolidation and theoretical problems is very confusing. But I like this professor because she is very flexible with exams and listens to students' suggestions. She's funny too.

Great professor for very boring subject of Auditing. Took her 3 other times (Acct 102, 202 & 311). Many opportunities for extra credit. Received an A every time.

this professor is extremely helpful. i have taken her for previous courses and found that i am still happy with her teaching techniques. it is not the professor that makes the coursework hard. it depends on how much the student puts into the course

She is the best professor I have had so far. This professor makes everything fun, she is extremely energetic. She assigns a ton of homework which is mandatory, 3 hours per week. It gets very hectic, but if you do the homework you will ace the class. Most people in my class did not do the homework, and they paid for it. Want a good grade? Homework.

She is good overall. However many materials are new and the summer time is limited. It is not easy to teach in this case. Not recommanded to take in the summer

She is not always focused and causes confusion by using her own methods which are not necessarily in line with the text. Switching from text to her method and her personal notes is very confusing. Too much information on the same topic.

Checks homework and attendance every day. Her tests are a little difficult, but the mandatory attendance and homework really help. She is very helpful and will continuously go over something until every understands. If you're not looking for just an easy A and actually want to learn, she's great!

Before I had professor David, I was not clear on the accounting class, my 101 was really fuzzy!!! She's very helpful and funny, cares about the students, makes sure everybody understands the topic before moving on. She's awesome, tests are easy enough if you take the time to study them, she reviews them all prior to it. I love her!!!

Very tough class. You have to work really hard. She is open to help especially after class and at her office hours. HW is not bad but tests are hard. Tests are usually fair but hard. You must dedicate lots of time to this class. She is a pretty ok teacher.

Tough grader. Makes you participate in class. Hw and exams are difficult. But one of the best professors in qc. I truly learned a lot, she breaks everything down for you and makes sure you understand everything. I was verge on failing class and end up getting a A. Only complaint is she does work with you, instead of having everything ready.

If you want a professor that actually cares about her students learning then take her class! She is tough but also one of the best professors at queens college. Take her if you're ready to learn, you will not regret it.

There is no better professor for advanced than David. There is a lot of work, but its advanced so it comes with the territory. The tests are fair. Problems and MC. She can do a better job with time management. I did not like that she sometimes spent an entire class on going over a quiz. It is not fair to the students that come to class prepared.

Great Teacher. is very helpful. will help you even on her lunch break. helps people understand the material. does one chapter one week and then goes over hw the next week. participate to get credit. must bring textbook to class. copy all the notes on the board. three test multiple choice, but you must show work or you lose credit.

Prof. David is an amazing professor. she will guide you step-by-step through each problem. she is always willing to answer questions and to help her students. I would highly recommend her.

Do the HW. Exams are based off HW similar questions. Arrive early and put of a homework problem early in the semester. Material/HW will get harder, get it over with early to receive credit. Class project is worth a huge grade booster if your just scrapping by. Accounting 311 is not meant to be easy and Pro David will not hold your hand. Study hard.

Great teacher, like most people said she can be intimidating, but overall one of the few classes that I can actually learn from. I recommend doing all hw and quizzes (quizzes are extra credit for each test). She gives a very thorough review on what's going to be on the tests. You still have to study though! Practice all your HW/QUIZ questions!

Do the HWs and do the quizzes. Exams are MC/problems. Problems are similar to HWs. Re-do the HWs on blank paper and learn to do them under her format to get maximum credit. Put up a HW problem early in the semester to get your class participation credit because the material will get harder.

All the homework is online. Quizzes given online go towards extra credit on the exams. Two exams and a final. You have to put in the work to earn the grade. However, it's more than worth it. Go to class, do your HW, and study, and you'll do well in this class

Really great professor. All the homework and quizzes are online. The homeworks are extremely important. It's a lot of work but the tests are based off the homeworks. Do the homework and the tests will be easy. She will go over the homeworks in class step by step which makes things even easier so go to class. Put in the work and you'll pass.

She is a fair grader;one of my favorite professors. This class is very hard. She explains everything in details. If you want to pass the CPA exam then take her. She never misses any class always on time. The test questions are very similar to the Home work question which you need to do on line. There are 2 tests. If you study hard you can get A.

If you're not taking her for Advance Accounting, you're in trouble. She made a difficult class into a relatively easy class. Come to class, pay attention, take notes, read and do the homework and you shouldn't have any trouble getting an A. BEST professor in the department hands down. Took her twice already and would take her for the whole major.

Dont take unless youre an accounting major. Weekly hw and quizzes on every ch. Exam 1 (20%) exam 2 (25%) final (35%). First exam review sucked and more than half the class dropped. second review was better and everyone got a better grade. Prof. David is super hardworking and caring, even held class the same day a close friend passed away. Be ready.

Professor David is wonderful and kind. She offers an extensive amount of knowledge on all things accounting. I personally enjoyed her teaching style as she puts everything on the board. She gives good practice in the hw. 2 tests 1 final. No curve. Theory is important in this class. She always have cute little acronyms to help you remember.

She is the BEST, just go to class, take notes and do hw, her test was made up by two parts, MC and JE questions, especially JE question is more easier than hw. She is willing to help and offers extra credit.

Best teacher for 311 hands down. Teaches you exactly what's on the exams. Class average on them was an 85-87. Exams are 40% MC and 60% long answer. The long answer is surprising much much easier. Shell literally tell you exactly what problems to study from the homework and she'll put it on the exam.

Great professor she teaches her class to the point where it very simple and easy to understand. Her homeworks and exams can get difficult but if you follow what she does in class, read the textbook and study. You will do well in the class. She doesn't drop or curve so be careful !

ACC 311, to all the people who gave bad reviews its because they dont study or complete the assignments. Her lectures can be a little quick, but once you do the hw you will understand. she reviews the hw always. her review before each test is AMAZING. IM AN average student and have no complaints.

Great professor. 3 exams (Format: 20 Mc and 4 problem q's). Hw's online and she goes over them very clearly. She reviews every single question on each exam during review and tells you specifically what to expect on all the problem q's. There's a group project in class for one day. She'll seem intimidating the 1st day... don't get nervous. Shes fine

Although the course material wasn't the easiest for acct standards, she taught it well gave Tests were moderately tough but fair. If you pay attention, participate and do the work you'll get an A. She's sweet and fair. Anyone who complained about her probably expected an easy A and was disappointed when they actually had to put some effort in.

2nd class with Professor David. She cares a lot about teaching and wants everyone to do well. Her teaching style works very well for me, I especially love how she goes over the hw in detail. Her class requires effort if you want to do well. Honestly wish she taught intermediate as well.

The best accounting professor Queens College has. She explains everything in detail and tells you exactly what will be in the exams. Accounting is a passion of hers and you can see it. As long as you go to class and pay attention you will be fine.

I dont know why she has an under 4 rating. She's one of the BEST professors in QC. Passionate, energetic, funny, and professional. She's tough but only because it's an advanced class and the course IS tough. She's fair but her exams are kinda tough. 20 (2pts each) multiple choice and 4 problems (15 pts each). 1/3 of the class didnt make it, study!

Put a problem from the first chapter homework on the board. It will only get harder. Yes the tests are hard BUT she does teach and prepare you to do well on the exams. She will explain something as many times as you need to understand. This is why missing any lectures is strongly advised against. This is not material you can teach yourself.

Professor David is a great professor for Advanced Accounting. The textbook makes the topics seem complicated, but she explains the material so clearly that it seems much simpler. She assigns HW, quizzes, and 2 exams- midterm/final. She is also accessible outside of class/responds to emails with any questions. I would definitely recommend her!

311 is a tough course but Prof David makes it really enjoyable. She is one of the best accounting professors at Queens College. She really cares about students and is willing to go over HW problems as many times as you want, to completely understand. Just attend her live sessions, participate and you should be good :)

Exams, homework, and quizzes are fairly difficult however if you put in the work, it's a piece of cake. She is extremely caring for her students and will help you understand whatever you need. She uses an online platform for everything (exams and final included). Homework are 60% and above = pass. She offers E.C. and NO curves!

I loved her

She is super nice and always wants to help you succeed. She will spend as much time as you need to explain a topic to you. She gives out 3 tests in person now but used to be online (NO CURVE). You only need to get 60% on homework to get the full credit and some quizzes. There is no way to pass this class without reading the textbook. SO READ

Tests are all in person. She is a good teacher, tests are however the big thing that make most people drop. Exams can be tricky. Allows for two missed hws. She did give us a lot of extra credit, more than she usually does. Take advantage of extra credit, actually study and do the hw's to have a chance to pass because she will not curve grades. 8/10

very hard class for it being a 102. the exams are very difficult and tricky studying every single day consistently doesn't help either. more than half the class dropped her class. even when the average was in the 30's she still didn't curve.

She's really good at explaining the material. Attendance matters but also she learns everyone's name which is really nice. HW and quizzes are on connect, which you have to buy. And the tests were all multiple choice. Definitely would take her again.

I took this teacher for Acct 102, and she was my best accounting teacher. She is very good at TEACHING, I know many teachers don't actually teach, but she does. She is expressive in her lectures and uses variolous techniques to make sure u understand. Do not be afraid to ask questions. But you must pay attention in class or you may get lose.

Professor David is hands down one of the best professors I've had. She does an excellent job of making sure everyone really understands the material. The tests are pretty tough, but they're fair. There's a ton of extra credit opportunities. Overall, a challenging but rewarding class with a professor who genuinely cares about student success.

Most of the class failed and average was 47? she didn't curve but gave tons of extra credit and offered extra office hours for 1on1s. its a lotta hw too but i think thats just the major...
