First semester teacher at Main campus who teaches at night,she gives way to many definitions to study. Tests cover 4 Chapters. It is very difficult to remember so much. But she will help you out with notes and she gives you extra credit work to do. If it wasn't for the extra credit, most students would fail.

She is an awesome teacher and is very nice as well. She gives out extra credit which helpes out great on exams. This is a great teacher to have if you don't really do good with remembering terms she gives examples for everything. Overall a great teacher to have for this course!

I personally thought she put too much of her own life into everything. But I got use to it and didn't have a problem with it when I finished. She is a nice teacher one of the better ones here. I didn't really feel like I learned anything I will remember in 5 years but I still think its a class and a Proffessor who is worth the time to take.

If you paid attention in class, amy uses examples from a lot of areas to give examples of situations that do apply to the class. So what if she uses real life examples. All she is showing you is how certain things apply to real life.Her teaching ability is great. All you need to do is show up, pay attention, and learn.

I LOVE AMY. She is always clear about her teachings but she doesnt just read from the book, she uses examples that students can relate to.She also makes you think and find the answers to your questions, if you still dont get it right, than she will help you. Nothing is handed to you, and that is how it should be. She is AMAZING.

The class is very easy, so if you plan to go somewhere in this field, study the chapters extensively because the text book isn't used much in her class. Psyc 1010 was one of the easiest classes I have ever taken because of Amy. She is really nice and approachable. She lectures, you watch lots of movies, and she will tell you what's on the test but make sure you study for them! Her EC is super easy and is helpful. No final exam, just an easy, 5min oral presentation. No homework or papers to write.

She's super nice, and keeps the atmosphere of the class pretty laid back. One of my favorite parts of her class was how she encouraged participation, sharing stories from her own life that relate the the subject matter and letting students do the same.

Awesome teacher! Very funny, likes to get class involved. Doesn't give homework, understands we have a lot on our plates. Tests are take home multiple choice/True or false. Impossible to fail. Easy class, great for freshmen.

Dr. Amy is amazing! My favorite class. No homework, suggested to read the chapters though. She uses power points and we have class discussions and watch some movies. Take home exams. Such and easy class but you still learn a lot! Extra credit opportunities as well. Wonderful professor! Very funny and a good person :)

THE BEST TEACHER EVER. this class is so easy i think a 5 year old can pass with a 110%. She tells a lot of stories but they're funny. I had her at 8am and still liked going to this class. High recommend her!

Wonderful teacher, i had her my first semester of college and i passed with an A+. You do not have any homework but for every 3-4 chapters you have a 50 question exam ( 4 exams total) and you watch really cool movies that are on your exmas (the blind side, remember the titans ect..) I highly recommend! fun class!

Professor Freigrubers class was simple and fun. She is a bit strongly opinionated, but its tolerable. She teaches everything clearly, and lets you have an entire piece of paper front and back for her exams. She also tells you everything that will be on the exam. There are a lot of movies too. Ms Amy is a good teacher. She gives the ability to earn lots of extra credit. There were 3-4 tests in class to determine your grade you earn as well as participation points. She is very nice her lectures are interesting, and she very much cares about her students and society with helping the homeless. Take this class you won't regret it.

Amy was honestly the best professor I've ever had. Her lectures were interesting and fun. She gave extra credit for every test. She would literally tell you what was on the tests and they were open note. She was very helpful and clear with everything. I recommend taking her for psych.

This professor was the easiest. I bought the book $120 brand new and NEVER opened it. She lectures off of power points which you can print out and follow along. Overall she's a great teacher. I loved the class and I'd take it again.

Awesome Psychology teacher. Expects class participation. Extra credit can be earned on each of her four exams. Lectures are from powerpoint, but she still keeps it interesting. Exams are a mix of her powerpoints and book material, so read the book! Ask questions, pay attention, and participate.

She is kinda strict, but fair. Gives you more than enough chances to get that grade up. I like that her extra credit is community service. Multiple choice exams. I'd take her again just because straight forward.

Currently have her for psych 1010 summer class. She is AWESOME. Great lectures, it is fun to get involved in her class. Summer class is not hard, she gives you the power points with notes and lots of extra credit is offered. Did not need textbook.

Easy class, pretty much guaranteed an A if you show up and do well on all the exams. The exams are pretty easy, you get a cheat sheet to write whatever on it, but I almost never used mine because the information was easy to remember. HOWEVER, if you are looking to actually learn about psychology, I wouldn't recommend her. Good class to raise GPA.

I would take Dr. Freigruber again and again! I loved learning about psychology in her class. I hope to be a teacher too, and Dr. Freigruber inspired me to fulfil my dream.

She offers extra credit every test and recently gave us 5 points EXTRA on our test because she had to leave early. I recommend her 10000%

Very easy class, very clear about what is expected. Takes attendance for the first few weeks then after that she doesnt care if you show up or not. There are a few tests but she prepares you for what will be on them. No textbook needed, she will put the slides on a flashdrive. Only 1 paper the whole semester and its simple. Lots of extra credit

Professor Freigruber was a great professor who wants to see her students do good. She is very caring towards her students and is also very understanding. She gives out A LOT of extra credit and her tests aren't too challenging. I would highly recommend taking this professor.

Her class was fun at times. The paper was easy. She lets you bring in a flash-drive and puts her slides in them, so just show up to class and highlight everything you need to on her slides and you'll do great. One thing I liked about her is that she agrees with your answers and makes you feel comfortable in her classroom.

I had professor Freigruber for PSYCH 1020. Professor Freigruber is amazing. She holds so much compassion and respect for her students. If I ever needed to take another Psychology course or still went to MCC I'd definitely take her again. She makes learning fun and it sticks.

I loved this class it actually made you want to learn more every week and made me re think my major. You get 1 board assignment a week with 3 replies min. A probably 1-2 assignments due at the end of the week which arent long basically going based off what you read in the book. The exams were the more complex but you get all week to turn it in!

BEST teacher I've had so far. Genuinely cares about her students and very flexible when it comes to outside situations. I bought the textbook but didn't open it once. Do what's asked of you and put in a genuine effort with your responses and this class is an easy A.

Just follow the directions, it's so simple. There's not much homework and on the occasion that she does give homework, she gives a good time frame to finish it. She's very nice and funny. This has been one of the best classes I've ever taken.

Freigruber was definitely my favorite professor of the semester. Very clear grading instructions, and she does require a book, however I did not use it very much. Her availability is widely open and she even lets students call her. Very caring professor and person who wants students to succeed.

Such an awesome professor doctor Amy. My final grade was 99.79, it wasn't overwhelming at all even though it was an 8 week class. Each week had one assignment, min of 40 word for each question. Discussion a min of 40 words with 3 comments. There were two exams with no time limit and one paper. Overall, easy A class BUT needs a lot of reading.

She repeated a lot of lectures and almost forces you to participate but the class is super easy to pass, just do the work with the correct criteria and it's an easy A. She gave out a lot of extra credit, so I passed the class with over 100%.

She is a great professor, really cares about her students. The classroom environment is very easy going and laid back. No tests, just a midterm paper and final paper and some online homework each week. She is very understanding and treats you with respect. Tip: don't take a lot of notes, just really listen and soak up the lecture, it helps.

She was one of my favorite teachers and one of the reasons I loved psychology. Her homework was easy only about a couple questions, she was a very fair grader and always gave feedback. She offered lots of extra credit and lots of opportunities during discussions to raise your grade. Her class was very interactive so time went by super fast.

Homework is very easy, around 3 to 7 questions per assignment (just dont forget to cite your sources. Midterm and final are easy, they're only 10 questions. 10/10 love it.

Dr. Amy Freigruber was the absolute best! Not only did she make the classroom comfortable but, she absolutely made it relatable. Her only request were to be respectful and participate. So great that I took on an additional psych class. Unfortunately, my new psych professor isn't Dr. Freigruber. I definitely recommend her as your professor.

The class was easy and straightforward. Had one assignment due every Saturday. Lectures were enjoyable, however there were so many stories and we would get off topic real quick. If you are taking this course because you genuinely want to learn psychology, I would be sure to buy the book and read that. She definitely cares about her students though.

Professor Flemming was amazing! She made class fun, and I genuinely looked forward to it. Each week had a short assignment, and the final was 10 written questions you could work on throughout the semester. In my opinion, if you participate and do the work, it's an easy A. Super manageable and enjoyable, I'd definitely take her again!

Dr. F was amazing! Her lectures are engaging, helpful and extremely interactive. There was never a dull moment in our class. I learned so much, and overall she made what we were doing so exciting. She grades super easy, never got lower than a 98% on anything, and her workload is easy-going and manageable. I recommend her 100%. 10/10. hands down.
