This teacher is awesome!! I actually struggled with Bio 145 and 146 but in this class I didn't seem to have a problem. She explains everything well and all of her notes are the outlines for the test. I mean "THE NOTES ARE THE TEST!! No surprises... I also had her for lab and again she was awesome!! I would reccomend any student take her class

I absolutely loved her! She was so much fun to have as a teacher. She is so straight forward that the only way you will fail this class is if you don't study. There is ALOT of study, but it's human anatomy, what the hell do you expect? She is a smart, organized, helpful, and funny teacher, what more could you ask for? I definitely recommend her!!!!

GREAT TEACHER! She uses powerpoint for her lecture which helps alot b/c u don't have to worry about reading the teachers handing writing. Her tests are straight from the notes, so there is no reason to fail this class. there is a lot of studying involved so don't expect to blow this class off. I definitely recommend her!!!

She's the best prof I've ever had. She gives you ppt packets at the beggining and if you study those you will easily get an A. There's a quiz every class but they're pretty basic and only over one chapter. She also gives you diagrams which you will always need to know for lecture or lab. I learned more from her than I have from any other prof.

Great prof! After taking 145/146, she has made Bio a much more fun and interesting class! She has a great personality and really helps you understand what you're learning. The packet of notes is enough to get you through tests, you almost don't need the book.

She maked bio 210 alot less stressful than bio 146. Stay up on pop quizes (attendance) NOTEBOOK, take good notes (Power point) and you'll get a good grade. I enjoyed :)...

Anatomy itself is pretty difficult. Lots of info to retain. Goode was good. ha Powerpoints are to the point and clear. *Her powerpoint packets will save you* Study guides rule. Just be sure to read the chapters too.

BEST TEACHER AT ICC. Hands down-awesome teacher. Expect to work, but she will give you everything you need. Makes difficult concepts easy. She even clarified some 145 & 146 concepts crystal clear.

I had Mrs. Goode for lab. She makes everything really clear by explaining it before you do it. He quizzes aren't horrible, but they aren't cake walks either. Lab practicals don't kill you either. the lab notebooks straight up suck. Lots of work for only a few points. One group project that stinks too. On the plus side, she's easy on the eyes!!

I had her for a minimester. if you're looking for a relaxing class, do not take BIO140 as a minimester! i apprecate her teaching and easiness now that i'm taking BIO145. honestly, i never read the textbook, all test questions are over her notes. definitely take Goode, she is excellent in BIO140

She's awesome! She is very kind and willing to help after class in during her office hours. She's very encouraging and explains everything very well. When you ask a question she always answers and doesn't get irritated. She amazing! :)

I had this teacher over the summer for lecture and lab. She was very helpful and good at explaining the difficult concepts. You do have to do the assignments and study to get a good grade, but hey this is anatomy.

Amy is a great teacher. Science has never been my strong point, but she made it easy. Buy the PP packet (lecture) for $9, and you will almost never use your textbook (except for a couple very short hw assignments here and there.) Can use notes on the last test before the final, and lowest grades are dropped. I was at a C, pulled a B b/c of this. :)

Had Mrs. Good for microbiology lab. She makes everything very fun and interesting. All of her quizzes are easy. I highly recommend her. Sign up early for her classes. They fill quickly. Not only is she a great teacher, she is very yummy.

Fairly easy class on the whole. She was a nice teacher and explained things very well. All the tests were easy except the 3rd one. The class average was 68%. After taking the first two, I wasn't expecting a hard one. That in itself didn't upset me except that she didn't warn us. It was just like surprise! this one is a ton harder.

Gret teacher! study her powerpoints and you will get an a on her tests! NOT KIDDING! GOT A 103% ON FIRST EXAM! very helpful and funny

She is a very good teacher and she knows what she is talking about. This class is not hard and she makes you learn the material. The only thing I didnt like about her was her tests, I feel like she sets you up to fail and she confuses you on purpose. You have to know every little detail not to get confused.

I got an A in Microbiology. I'll be honest, this is NOT an easy class, you do HAVE to study to pass and especially to get an A like I did, so if you want easy don't take Micro at all. That being said, I love Goode. She was ALWAYS understanding, interesting and fair. Someone mentioned her tests being very detailed, they're correct. Study!

I have Amy for lecture & lab and I'm standing right now at a 94 at midterm!! Buy her PowerPoint packets, you fill them out during her lectures and those are your notes so praise & worship them!! Super stoked for her Microbiology class this fall, can't wait!! Her name speaks for itself, she's GOOOOODE!!!!!!! Lol

Professor Goode is really a talented teacher. She makes material understandable and at a level students can really understand. She is realistic about the information you should know and really makes it your responsibility if you do well in the class. Her test are the only thing that was bad about her class, they are REALLY difficult. Study for them

Took bio 140 as a mini with her and loved it! Yes you need to study she does not give you a study guide but everything you need to know is in the power points. She is the best teacher for this class. If you want an easy A don't take biology to begin with.

Took this as a mini-mester. I was very busy for those few weeks, but I actually enjoyed going to class and felt she was extremely fair and well organized. If you study each and every day and use the power points you can do well. You must study everyday to keep up...also study everyday for labs. Very good teacher.

Professor Goode was probably the most helpful instructor I have ever had. She outlines the course details very well in the syllabus and never turns away when you need help. As long as you purchase her powerpoint packet and COMPLETE THE STUDY GUIDES, you will do just fine. Also, she keeps the class interesting with her sense of humor.

Professor Goode was extremely helpful throughout the entire semester. She never turned you away if you asked for help, and her expectations were clearly outlined in the syllabus. Follow the notes, go to class every day, and complete the study guides and you'll do just fine. Also, she was really funny and accommodating.

Best instructor I've ever had. She wants everyone to get an A and tries her best to help you keep an A. This class is not easy. You will have to study! Try to get her as your instructor for lecture and lab. You won't be disappointed.

I enjoyed this class way more than I expected to. Goode makes things very simple and understandable, information is very straight forward. She is good for lab too. She says the third exam is the hardest, but I thought the fourth exam was the hardest.

I loved Amy's class! It was easy, flowed quickly but well, and I learned a lot.

Her class is a 200 level but her tests feel like 300400. She calls them tricky but they feel designed to mislead at times, not to check your knowledge. That's why even though her lectures are very clear I said she was not always clear. Her tests also have "All the above,". "None of the above," "A and B only," etc options for most questions.

Here's the rundown. Amy doesn't just hand out good grades because you attend class. She breaks down difficult concepts and expects you to apply them on the exams. She's intelligent and expects you to be persistent and care about the class. You're taking the class for a health career, so every professor is going to have expectations. Take her!

Hard info, great prof. With so much info she goes fast. Very interactive and helpful. Pay attention. Never opened the book, just get the online code for the etextmastering. Good looking gal particularly for teaching for 15 years! Goode is good! Except that tongue flick! Most distracting part of class is her flicking her tongue. Take her!

Goode was a solid teacher, but had a few weaknesses. Her test questions are worded ambiguously. My international friends struggled with the tests, despite knowing the material. She also goes very quickly over material, and explains things well, but doesn't leave much time for questions, and can be a bit unapproachable. Very good overall though.

This class is not known to be easy. But if you study and do all the homework, you will pass. I also HIGHLY recommend going to the SI sessions for the class. If you are ever confused about anything, go to her office. She is very nice and is extremely helpful and will allow you to view your past exams. I HIGHLY recommend this teacher.

Make sure you know the material well to answer questions on the test quickly as there won't be enough time to spend even two minutes on a question. Her Test questions can be tricky. STUDY

Amazing Professor! I enjoyed this class a whole lot. You will learn so much from her and she does an amazing job at explaining the different topics in the class. Study the notes from lecture. I just bought the online textbook and I know people that didn't even use a text book. Give your effort and you'll do great.

You do use the book, but not to the extent of other classes, you might use it for 2 -3 chapters in total. The rest of the class is taught via provided notes and pre-lecture work. Mrs Goode also assigns online quizzes & homework to help with extra points. If your class is good at participation, you won't have pop quizzes. Lab matches lecture well!

She's a pretty solid Bio teacher. Spells everything out for you. Gives lots of easy analogies to help explain the material. Fantastic lab teacher too. Will give mini-lectures during lab to further aid in helping you understand the material. Always, makes sure you know what's due when in a mostly weekly email. Gives extra credit on some tests.

I had professor Goode for Lab and Lecture and she is a great professor! She drew pictures on the board sometimes, and it really helped me understand, since I am a visual learner. She did an amazing job of explaining things too. Really do recommend Professor Goode, even though her exams had tricky questions. But overall study and youll do good!

She was nice, very understanding but did expect you to learn your stuff. She wanted you to succeed and did everything she could to make sure I did.

I love Professor Goode. I had her for my lab and I wish I would have had her for lecture too. She explains things so clearly that I would not study that much due to just how informative and clear her explaining was. Very nice and open. I felt like I could talk to her about the content and get a very thorough answer in return.

Professor Goode is a very good microbiology teacher. While the content itself can be rather boring at times, professor Goode is good at keeping you engaged. There is homework and quizzes on mastering and 4 unit exams in class. There are also worksheets, the occasional "pop quiz" (she tells you), and group project. Overall, highly recommend.

The power point is printed out in the book store to help you have a clear idea of what she will be lecturing on. In lecture, she points out exactly what area you need to study. If there is a picture in her notes, you can be sure you will see it again on a test or pop quiz. The test questions may have more than 1 correct answer. Logical thinking.

I wish I could have her for every bio class. She lays everything out clearly at the beginning and even when COIVD happened and we switched to online she was still available and largely stuck to the assignments and dates. She offers some extra credit but if you don't do the homework you'll suffer. All tests are based on her powerpoints.

She was intimidating at first but she makes sure that you learn what you need to. She has a variety of activities, and it is never boring. She gave a lot of opportunities for extra credit and was available for extra help.

Micro was great. We had to move the in lecture and lab class experience to online because of Covid restrictions; however, the class went really well. Professor Goode was very well organized and I always knew what was due. All her tests and quizzes are based on her own powerpoints and lab handouts so you don't even need the book.

I took Professor Goode's BIO110 online in fall 2020. She was a very supportive and responsive professor. The work load could seem heavy at times, but it is doable if you stay on top of things. I strongly recommended using all the resources she gives you, and make sure you do all the labs as they are on the quizzes and exams. 10/10 recommend her.

Prof. Goode is amazing teacher. She has the best of visual teaching methods. The assignments are very clear and very organized. She uses proctorio on quizzes and exams, so make an effort to study more. The questions on quizzes and exams are covered on her videos lectures. What she says that will show on the tests and EC. I highly recommend her.

I was refers to Mrs. Goods and she is awesome, her lectures were a lot but very understandable. I kept telling people that I can show my 15 year old cousin these lectures and she would be able to understand them. She also explains any test questions or lab practicals to you. I definitely would take her 10 out of 10����

She was great. Lectures are straightforward and easy to understand. Gives hints about exam questions. Exams are easy. Only con is she always runs over 5-10 minutes. There are proctored quizzes each week which I enjoyed and a home work assignment. A TON of extra credit was offered and she provides study guides for each exam! Take her!

Really easy lab! She explains everything in detail and if experiments fail she explains why and doesnt blame it on you like some do. If you get your work done you can go. Prelabs before each lab dont take long and are easy. Lab quizzes about every other week lowest quiz drop. 2 lab practicals and 2 lab skills all very easy. Do the extra credit!

Take her, best science professor here that I've had. She gives study guides for exams which were a big help. Lots of extra credit. Very easy-going professor. Cons were that she runs over in lecture and doesn't let you be very independent in lab. Takes half of lab to explain the lab even though we have prelab videos to watch about steps.

Professor Goode is so dope! She was the best micro teacher. I had another micro teacher before her and i just couldn't understand maybe because he didn't make it very interesting. She is so amazing. She explains everything in depth! if you flunk a test or quiz you just didn't study because she gives you every single thing you need to know.

Amazing professor ICC with clear directions and grading! As long as you're doing the online labs in near pod notes you'll be completely fine! Had a lot of anxiety going into this class because I'm terrible at science and she ended up being one of the most helpful professors. Highly recommend for an online class.

If I was able to take all my classes with her, I would! She goes over all assignments and preparations for quizzes very thoroughly and wanted us to do well! I thought her labs were very interesting and she is absolutely hilarious. Pre-lab & quiz every week so pretty easy and straightforward.
