Does not follow the course outline. Grades journal articles very tough. Class is very boring. She is inconsistent in the way she grades her essay tests. I would say this woman is the worst Professor I have had in two years. Avoid her if you can.

She tends to change the course outline as she goes along. Gives writing assignments and will low ball you with a grade. I am an A Student and this woman killed my GPA. I was lucky to get out with a B. Avoid this one.

This teacher is horrible. She give terrible notes. None of her test questions or paper questions make any sense. When you tell her you don't understand she starts to talk to you like you are a retarded child. If you have a choice do not take her class

I definitely would not take this class again. Her homework assignments are really tough, and you only get full credit if she likes what you post, otherwise try again. Her feedback is not useful at all, so you are basically on your own the whole semester. Be prepared to teach yourself everything because she does not teach well.

Do NOT take this class. This was the worse class I ever took, and would not recommend anyone to take this class. Her homework assignments are more like individual tests, and you will not get full credit unless she likes what you have to say. This class is ridiculous.

Does NOT teach. Her notes are all over the board. She is very rude and expects you to learn everything on your own. Only about 9 students take her every semester because of how terrible she teaches. If you don't love nature as much as her she will fail you.

She's very rude and doesn't give much feedback. Her lectures are very boring and she lets class out early, while it might seem nice, class time is wasted with sloppy notes and unclear lectures so be prepared to study a lot outside of class. Would not take her again for the life of me.

Avoid at all costs. Rude, disrespectful old woman. I am a 4.0 student and she gave me 10/100 and even zeros on assignments for simple mistakes. Dropped her class at the last minute to avoid my gpa being ruined. And she wondered why I wanted to drop hahahahah.

By far the rudest professor I have ever come across. Has not done a single online lecture since college has closed due to covid-19. I paid for a class and ended up doing the professors job. Incredibly inconsistent with her grades. I think grading depends on her mood. She is never satisfied with any work. DO NOT TAKE HER.

Please do not take this professor she doesnt care about her students or even try to help if they dont understand an assignment because of her my GPA had dropped severely she fails to respond to my questions and always goes back on her word. Professor Hannon is by far the worst professor I have ever had. She is beyond disrespectful and has no idea what she is doing. She is the reason why I am feeling so discouraged about life. She makes it impossible to pass the class. Avoid taking her at all costs. Save your GPA and find a different professor!

Do not take this professor. She is very rude and overly critical of everything that is done in her class. she has no clue how to teach or work a computer. she gives a lot of work such online discussions, quizzes, tests, and papers. If assignments are not labeled right or not done the way she wants she will make you redo it from scratch.

Class was very interesting, however this is the most rude professor I have ever had the misfortune of interacting with. I am utterly baffled as to how she has gotten this far in life with a total lack of basic respect for other human beings. If you make a slight mistake, prepare for her to publicly take out all of her personal issues on you.

I would highly suggest you avoid taking her for ethics. She is overly passionate about her subject which makes it impossible to impress her. Shes extremely difficult to please, her feedback is unhelpful, shes condescending, and just outright rude. This subject is hard enough to follow but she makes it so much more unnecessarily complicated..

I think this is the most hard to please professor I have ever came across. If she doesnt like what you wrote or it does not meet her standards she will give you a 0 (not even partial credit for attempting). If you call her anything besides professor she will lecture you about it. The questions on the tests are not even on any of the readings.

Don't waste your time with this professor, she's extremely critical and difficult to please. There's barely any teaching or help, she just posts assignments, the occasional broken link, and yells at people in the discussion forums. Be prepared to learn everything on your own

If anybody who needs to take ethics please find another professor to teach. She criticizes students instead of helping . Part of being a teacher is to teach not criticize students for doing the work wrong but instead helping them. Shes hard to please and is quick to fail than to pass you . Wouldn't really recommend

Horrible professor! Avoid! ! Overly critical w/o any guidance and only posts assignments w/o properly teaching. No videos or PowerPoint, nothing. Its all up to the student to do the work and she just grades it extremely harshly. Im a straight A student and this is the only class Im not excelling in. I wonder why. Ratings are low for a reason.

She is the WORST teacher YOU WILL EVER HAVE. She grades your discussions like you killed her family. JUST DON'T TAKE HER CLASS IF YOU WANT TO PASS COLLEGE. I WILL REPEAT ALL OF HIGH SCHOOL THEN HAVE TO DEAL WITH HER.

If you have asynchronous, its easy yet hard. Shes a hard grader and only thing I like is she gives us multiple times to fix it to get 100 but it gets so overwhelming at times

she is more concerned about grading your grammar than actually grading your paper. she makes snarky comments, and is the opposite of direct. she's in her 80s and should just give up teaching at this point. She's very rude and rarely says anything of importance.

The worst academic experience of my life. Do not take this class she does not care and she does not grade well. She expects you to know topics you never discussed and will shame you for mistakes. They are Very passive aggressive. This was a nightmare and I feel bad for anyone who has to go through it. I wouldnt wish this on my worst enemy.

Amy Hannon is the absolute WORST teacher I've ever had. She is very unforgiving and clearly doesn't care whether or not her students pass. She doesn't grade well at all. She gives terrible feedback and makes it impossible to get a good grade. If you don't meet her standards 100% then you will NOT get a good grade. I wish I could drop her class.

Do not take this professor. Nothing you write will be good enough, she is not kind when giving feedback; at times she can be derogatory or condescending when responding to students. She shouldn't be allowed to teach ethics with the unethical approaches she takes to belittling students. DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE.

Currently still taking this class. But judging from the assignments I've done, her grading has been WAY too harsh. I tried my best to change my answers according to her replies on the discussions, but she would never say any helpful feedback. She cares about your grammar more than your actual response and is condescending. JUST WAY TOO MUCH WORK.

Absolute WORST teacher I've had. While I've had my fair share of bad teachers, they would at least grade me accurately. I've never dropped a course so fast. If you make the slightest (and I mean the SLIGHTEST) mistake on a discussion board post, you'll get a failing grade. If you try to correct her, she'll only give you a condescending response.

Can't even begin to put into the words the ABSOLUTE MISERY this professor has caused me. She expects you to understand exactly what to do even though she will change her mind about rules after she's already created them, and belittles students for any reason she can. Even though I was in this class for a short amount of time before withdrawing, I found her to be extremely unreasonable, her expectations far outweighed what she provided.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE PROFESSOR. Hardest grade on earth, her questions and assignments make no sense. She grades terribly, is unfair and tells you "not to worry about your grade". She will give u under a 20% on most assignments for leaving a simple detail out. Nursing/Education students, you will not get in the program if you take her course.

Please believe all the reviews you see here for Prof. Hannon!!! Stay away if you can. She's a super tough grader and will drop your grade significantly just for leaving one little detail. Her expectations are way too high. She expects her students to be experts at everything and if you're not then she will belittle you.

The reviews are true. DO NOT choose this rude professor, especially for the students trying to get into the nursing program. She is the epitome of a professor that does not care. She says she will curve final grades but will literally fail all of your assignments throughout the semester no matter the quality, so a curve won't even do much for you.

i have a 3.9 and let me tell you this professor is IMPOSSIBLE. one minor mistake on an assignment will bring it down to a failing grade, i don't know how anyone could get an A unless she favors them. she's also the rudest teacher i've ever had and needs to retire. STAY AWAY!!!

She has a very bad attitude, like legit for no reason. Genuinely gets pissed off when you don't even do anything wrong. I'm surprised how she can still teach at this school. If you make a single mistake, as in misspell a word, your grade goes to a 50 automatically. Pls take anyone but her!!!
