Not organized at all;doesn't even use the books;makes stuff up as she goes long

She's a little flighty, but she's an extremely friendly, helpful teacher. If you do your reading, ask questions when you don't understand something, and pay attention during class, you won't have any problems.

i had her in the summer time and she was a very nice, and willing to help . she tried new things that didnt always work but asked if we liked it or how to make it better. and it wasnt hard to get an A either, so i would recommend her!!

Is very unclear lecturer and doesn't make the tests clear either. She made 10 mistakes on a test once and didn't really make amends for her mistakes in grading.

Lilienfeld is a very good teacher! I enjoy her class very much so!

she is the nicest lady in the whole world. she will help you with anything and explains everything, even the easiest points so everyone undersatnds, lets you make up tests and labs.

She is the sweetest professor I know. She would do anything for her students. Her tests are rather hard and although she doesn't know EVERYTHING, she tries!! She's very organized and gives you a handout of notes for class so you don't have to take them!

This class is so easy!!! I have an A+!!! She isn't the best at describing things but she gives you study guides, lecture outlines, and you NEVER have to read the book!! I Love it!!!

Well she is very excited about what she teaches, however we werent because she was very boring. Labs were really simple, she gave out extra credit, but the test were the devil (even with the curve grade. On another note though, she is a very nice person.

Very sweet lady cause she'll do anything to help a student. THe labs you do in this class were easy but the tests were awful.

She is one of the nicest ladies, and would do anything to help a student, in a way that doesnt make you feel dumb. Her syllabus is very unclear but workable. If you dont like science and its just your UP credit, its the way to go.

She enjoys her subject but she’s a bit naïve. She spoon feeds the subject matter in the form of handouts making the students not read the book. Then she hits you with intense tests. Easy A, but you'll feel bad getting it.

This lady is crazy. But she's a sweetheart. Such an easy graded class, and i learned a lot. I probably would have learned more, but i always fell asleep in class. Its stressful, but i was blessed to have such a kind professor.

She has you do a lot of busy work, but there's so much of it that it's impossible to get anything lower than a B. I recommend this course in the summer.

OH MY GOD SHE IS CRAZY! She laughs so hard she cries and always has crazy stories! First time teaching this class so you really can't say anything bad about it! She is a great teacher! i'd take her again in a minute!Sometimes disorganized by admits to it!

She was easy, but a little weird. Likes to go off topic.

I can't stand her teaching style (if you call it that) but she's an easy A. She's too smart for her own good. Talks about doggy playtime, herbal medicine, and crys when she laughs at herself. Kinda feel like I should drink before class just to follow along. Respectful of students, understanding.

She IS ms. frizzel from the magic school bus!! She is a really good teacher who is really interested in the material and makes the material easy to learn. The labs are easy and the tests are not bad either. She also grades on a curve

She is really easy. As long as you take notes (which is really easy, she gives you an outline and all you have to do is write) and read them over before the exam you will get an A. She gives extra credit on all the exams, I just got a 107/100 because of extra credit and the curve!

She's is really annoying.

She is nice if you try. Her personality did change towards the end but that is because people were slacking and she was offended by that. Lots of busy work just do it and you should be ok.

Did not take attendance but it helped to go. Labs that you do in class are easy. The tests are a little hard. She is a very nice and sweet lady that will go out of her way to help a student.

This is supposed to me Anglo-America and all we have learned about is New York and California...I'm never really sure what is going on in this class or her head! Jumps from on random topic to another, most of the time they have little or nothing to do with the subject.

She IS crazy! You never really get her or understand what's going on in her head - and the tests are insane! HOWEVER, the curve, oh my God the curve! I would lead the class with say an 88% and what did that equal out to...110% wtf! Sweeeet! Slept in class A LOT, but never failed to be #1 :)

She is awesome, makes the effort to learn everyone's name, she cares about her students. She doesn't cover as much material as she probably should, if she stayed on track more, she would be the most awesome teacher.

Amy is probablly one of the nicest teachers i have had at central, she is very laid back and knows what she is talking about. She relates the material to stuff happening now and that is really interesting. I didnt know what to expect out of this class, but i really enjoyed it and i think whoever else wants to take this class should get Amy for it

I love this class! She makes learning about the enviroment fun and enjoyable! Those other people don't know what they are talking about, Amy makes class so enjoyable and with all the guest speakers and the field trip, the class isn't to hard. Also here tests are kind of easy, so study a little and go to class you are fine! I would take Amy again!

Great teacher, very nice and helpful. You can tell she really cares about Geography. The tests are pretty hard and random but if you go to class you get full points for most assignments. This class counts as a UP Lab, definitely reccommend taking it for this.

Amy rocks. The class wasn't as interesting as I hoped it would be, but the professor made it fun. A lot of people think she's crazy, but I think she's hilarious. Just go to class, study for the exams, and go to the extra credit movies.

Amy is a very nice, funny, weird lady. She may not be the clearest prof in the world but she will do a lot to help you suceed. Her tests aren't that tough and since this is a lab class, her labs are pretty easy too. Its the best choice I think if you have to take a lab class.

I recommend this class. Lecture was broken up with lab exercises and films so the class went really fast. Amy also explains things very well and is always willing to take time if you do not understand. Exams are hard, but fair.

Amy is an excellent teacher. I've found that there are a lot of people on here that want to trash her rep., but keep in mind that THEY are likely the idiots, not Amy. If you attend class, study the lecture outlines, and complete the extra credit (she offers A LOT!!), then you should not have much trouble getting the grade you want in her class.

Amy is awesome. There's never homework, she goes ever all the labs in class, and usually just gives 100% on them. She's very helpful if you have questions. She learns everyone's names and makes sure most people understand. Take her! Easy U.P credit (and lab)!

This class was an easy A. I don't get why anyone would say anything bad about her....she is very nice and always makes sure you understand. exams are curved

Amy is great. I took this class online. It wasent a really easy A but easy enough. Open book exams and quizzes. She really cares and trys in every way to make sure everyone understands. I would definently recomend this class. Lots of extra credit opportunities!!!

There is a lot of work that goes into this class but she gives you more than one chance to do everything, even exams. I don't know how anyone would get below an A in her class. She answers emails right away and thoroughly explains topics that you don't understand. She is the best professor I have had at CMU.
