The school is making me take this class. I was not looking forward to it. I have only been in her class for eight weeks, but I am glad I took it with Ms. Love. She is a great professor! She keeps the class interesting, is very nice, and it really feels like she cares about us. If you are required to take it like I was, take it with Ms. Love!

She cares about what you need to know to survive at the college and in your career. I have taken some long hard looks at what I'm going to do in the next few years. I can't say I enjoyed it, but it was a valuable course. I will see if Professor Love is teaching any other subjects, and try to get in her class.

Ms. Love is awesome. Didn't take any tests, only minimum homework. Pretty easy, really enjoyed the class. She basically made us sit down and figure out our futures which was helpful. Taught us a lot about Valencia. 10/10 would take again.

Professor Love was one of my fav teachers. helped me plan the rest of my education. helped me use my interest to find a career I was really passionate about. Makes you dig deeper into yourself and get involved with the school. Recommend even if you aren't a freshman in college. Only downside is you can only have 3 absenses before withdrawl

Professor Love is FANTASTIC. There are no exams, just assignments. This is a required class at Valencia, so we all have to go through it, so go through it with her. She kind, thoughtful, bubbly, and tries to make class fun and easy. There is a lot of group work. Gives feedback on BB for ALL assignments! :D

The thought of taking this class made me cringe. But, Mrs. Love made it bearable and fun and she is a very nice lady. She was easy to understand, knew a lot about Valencia, and really showed she cared. If Valencia makes you take this class, take it with Mrs. Love!

Very fun and amazing teacher, she really cares about her students. The workload is fairly easy and straightforward. As long as you do it you'll pass the class with an A.

If you can take this teacher, take her. You won't regret it. Ms Love is the nicest lady ever, she really cares about your success and helps you. She keeps the class fun, there's no tests and no textbook reading, just the online code to take personality quizzes and a couple of assignments. Easy A. You MUST show up to class, Attendance and Punctuality are graded. Coursework is easy. Do the homework and you will pass, one of the final project is a group project super easy and fun. Easy A class.

The absolute BEST teacher I've ever had. Whoever said Ms. Love doesn't give good feedback was probably one of those people who were last to arrive and first to leave. Participation is important. A's are earned, not thrown at people who don't even pretend to try! Take this professor if you have the chance!

Took Ms. Love after another student recommended her. She is a real gem. This class is starting to be a lot more popular. Although it sounds boring, it is very involved and worth your time. You get time to explore yourself, careers, and then help plan your academic future. She is very supportive and positive along the way planning for your future.

Professor Love genuinely cares about the futures of students' academics and careers. Her classwork seems pointless but it is definitely enjoyable. It's a fun and easy class and I'm very thankful that I had this loving professor.

Ms. Love is a great professor, the class is a very boring topic and I thought it would be useless but she made me love going to class because she has a great personality and is really caring about her students. If anyone needs to take NSE I'll recommend her without the shadow of a doubt!

She's a pretty good teacher! Sometimes shes lecturing in class about our assignment and it gets pretty boring. There are ALOT of group assignments, it gets annoying after a while but it helps you make new friends in class. Overall she's a pretty good teacher, work isn't hard. The textbook is needed for a couple assignments but not much. No quizzes

You can see the passion Ms. Love has for her job and each and every one of her students. She takes the time to make sure youre on the right track and makes you feel excited to take on the rest of college. The homework is extremely fair for the course and shes very generous with grading. I would most definitely take her again.

Take her class online or mix-mode, which is what I did. SLS is an easy A, so you shouldn't be failing unless you don't do the assignments. Amy Love is very caring. Homework is fair, there was a lot of class participation though, so be prepared to get up and move around and form groups. However, Love is pretty funny and class goes by quick.

Prof. Love, is a great professor.. this is my last semester at VCC so I didn't want to take her class, but I learned so much about myself & that I'm on the right path! This class is so valuable to new students, do yourself a favor & take Amy! You don't need the book, just the code, & its cheaper if you buy it with her online code.

she's nice & all but IMO the whole SLS course is a waste of time. Everything she taught I could have learned in a day. but she is very caring & helped me assure myself of my career & helped me figure out my career path. Bought the textbook PDF, never used it. Graded attendance but doesn't matter that much. I was late like 8 times and still got an A

She is a all around good teacher. Although she is very chatty she is kind and helpful. Amy Love actually cares for her students. Just dont miss the final project presentation. Even if you are sick, she will take 25 points off the project grade.

Shes a great option for introverts! She is kind, caring, explains things well. You have a few group activities and the presentation at the end, but that is just what the course requires. Ms Love makes it as easy and fun as possible. No tests, just the online discussions, class participation, and co-curricular assignments. Take once a week class!

Very easy class!!!! prof. love is the most caring Teacher i have ever had. A little too caring maybe. She remembers little details about each of her students. I took her 1 year ago and i saw her recently and she remembered me which surprised me because I never really made a connection with her. But the class is so easy

You can learn a lot from this class, if you choose to take it seriously. Participation matters. We had just shy of ten assignments, one team project and one final project.

Easy class just follow instructions and you should be fine. You have 2 powerpoints where you need a voice over or a video of you presenting. Nothing too hard if you put some effort in. About 2 assignments a week

Best professor I had during my two years in school. She also helped with a couple of recommendation letters for my transfer school. She cares about you! Always find a way to answer your questions and guide you at any time. Don't stop going to her, she's the best.

I loved Ms. Love class because she gave clear grading criteria when it come to homework or projects and gives you tip on what you can do to fix it for your next assignment or assessment. She was very caring and give me some time when I was sick with Covid or had my mom in the hospital due to medical reason to catch up with her class and I thank her

There's 2-3 assignments/quizzes per week and then a video final assignment. Once you get closer to the end the assignments become more time consuming but they're not hard. She allows you to turn in two assignments late and give great feedback on your work. I recommend her.

Amy Love seems to genuinely care about her students. The assigned work is actually useful if you're coming in as a new student. I felt set up for success after taking her class.

Very good professor. Everything is always due on Sundays except for the final project. Assignments have clear directions and are fairly straightforward. You cover the final project 2+ months in advance so you have plenty of time to prepare, and it's not difficult. Only used the textbook once. Gives feedback on everything and responds quickly.

If you are seeing this comment, choose her immediately. She gives 2-3 assignments per week that are focused on you! She creates weekly messages to tell you about the upcoming week. Two late coupons to use on late assignments (not midterm or final). The midterm is a narrated PowerPoint, and the final is a 3-5 minute video of your choosing.

Professor Love was an amazing professor. She will answer all emails either same day or in the first half of the next day. Always there to lend a helping hand with any of your work or questions. She will not take late work though. Always make sure to reply to two people on discussion posts; don't forget (It will hurt your grade somewhat).

Mrs. Love gave feedback on every assignment and answered all emails and was very lenient. Seriously, take this teacher. She is so nice and easygoing, her coursework is clear (and very easy), and I spent an average hour or so a week on her assignments (maybe 2 if it was hard) and then 3 on the final. She even offered 2 free tardy passes for the sem.

For being a class you have to take, it was very easy, and she was very helpful. A light course load around 2-3 assignments per week and final is just about where you'll be in 10 years, very bubbly personality and easy to reach. Would take her again if she teaches any other classes.
