Ms. Osmon is great. I was unsure of how I would do in this class, but it was just too easy. She is so nice and helpful. She goes over all the notes you will need for the tests (I never cracked the book). And the tests-piece of cake. She does a test review (make sure you come)and basically gives you the answer to what will be on it. I love Ms.Osmon!

This class is a piece of cake...As long as you come to class and take all the test you can make an A in the class. She gives you test reviews and everything on them are on the test and when going ovwe rthe chapters she will tell you what is going to be on the test. She also gives extra credit questions for the test. this class was alot of fun...

Great teacher, very clear and made the class interesting. Notes and study guides for exams all on well put together powerpoints- you must attend class to get slides, but it is well worth showing up, due to her easy to understand and relevant explanations. Highly recommended, great down to earth teacher!!

Ms osman was the sweetest teacher. She is so nerdy, but in a good way, her stories are the best and shes extremely thorough. The only thing is we never used the book, and it was real expensive. Definately take her, shes a genuinely nice person who wants you to get an A.

This class is all about them powerpoints she gives you. As long as you study review exams, which she never explains how important they are, you will get an "A." Easy class, but requires studying :(....

OMG! Amy is the absolute best teacher in the world! I wish I could clone her as all of my teachers. It does not matter what class you take, if she is teaching it is a guaranteed A. This is my second time taking one of her classes and I just love her to pieces. Her tests are verbatim what she lectures. And she does not use any trickery on her tests.

A fabulous professor! It is a really easy and fun class. She is quirky and humorous. Make sure you study the notes because that her test questions are right from them. And she shows you examples from the material on youtube

Wonderful Teacher, she is very helpful and easy. She just wants you learn something by the time you walk out of her class. She is also very funny and her extra credit questions are usually bizarre but cool. I recommend!

Amy is the greatest...she makes it as easy as possible...attendance isnt mandatory but if you do go there are always incentives...tests are cake she gives a review before every test..shes great...i tell everyone to take any psy class with amy

Professor Osmon is one-of-a-kind. I have yet to find another professor as kind and helpful as her. Although the class is easy, don't be deceived into thinking you won't learn anything, because you certainly will. This is a reflection of her teaching abilities. Be sure to attend the class before a test, and do the bizarre extra credit questions.

She is a good person as well as a good teacher. She is clear with what she expects. She has a good teaching method of providing the notes and outline to the people that attend class. This way you can spend your time listening and learning, not writing 100mph. She will help in any way she can. Highly recommend Osman for any class.

Took the online section of this class over the summer. It was a super easy class. Just 1 paper and doing 6 assignments and quizzes from the textbook, which if you look hard enough you don't even need to buy. Very nice lady!

I had Ms. Osmon during my first semester at DSC. Her class was really interesting, and she made it fun. She lectures a lot, but in my opinion they were far from boring. Her tests aren't hard if you study, but she won't e-mail you the notes if you don't show up to class, so make sure not to skip too much! I would definitely recommend her.

I took this course totally online and enjoyed it more than any course I have taken on campus. She makes the class interesting and interactive. Test and quiz are a breeze as long as you do the chapter questions. There is a research paper due but you have plenty of notice to get it done. Great class!

I am actually taking more psychology classes because of her! She's a good teacher, interested in the material and excited about what she does. The class is interesting, and she gives you plenty of time to do the work. Tests are super funny too!

This is my second class with Ms. Osmon and I have decided to make Psychology my field of study because of her classes. She is knowledgable about the material, she is always willing to answer questions, and is very encouraging to her students. I will be taking more calsses from her for sure.

I took her for general psych online and i was expecting to have to write a lot of papers but we only had one the whole semester, about 5 assignments/tests/discussions. She was very helpful and the discussions videos were interesting. I was taking sixteen credits and this was one class i didn't have to worry about. TAKE AMY OSMAN !

She has alot of a good ratings for a reason. Its pretty easy, but you learn alot, and Ive had other friends take psych online with other teachers, her format is the least complicated. Take her. You wont regret it.

This was my first on-line class ever and was nervous about the process but it turned out to be an an awesome experience. Learned so much and was so fun. Weekly video discussion, and 25 question test (gives you review questions), only had one 2 page typed paper. Also offered extra credit.This professor is awesome.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Nailed a A!!

Brilliant professor. As long as turn in everything on time, you'll pass. She responds extremely quickly and clarifies everything in the syllabus.. A little slow on grading, but overall an awesome prof. I'd take her for ENC1102 if she was available.

Dr. Osmon is my favorite teacher I've had at the college so far! She lectures most classes but she makes them exciting and is really energetic about it. There are only five grades of the semester which are tests. They are very easy if you study. No textbook at all, she answers questions you have right before the test is given out. Highly recommend

Great teacher! No need for a book whatsoever. She lectures most of her classes and emails you everything, you dont even need to take notes. She's constantly playing videos and giving you fun ways to learn. Answers every question and really helps you understand. There is no reason whatsoever to not get a good grade in this class!

We did weekly discussions in which you had to post and then reply to other classmates posts. Also followed what the book was teaching. Also she wanted us to watch "Brain Games Videos from "Nat Geo" and related it to what chapter we were studying. If you stay on track you will pass her class. I had no issues with her class.

Do yourself a favor and TAKE THIS CLASS. Dr. Osmon makes this class so interesting. I took it online and I thoroughly enjoyed it. You have a video every week and a half, you do a discussion, then you have 3 documenteries and 4 tests. No book, short tests directly from the notes. If you need a psych class. TAKE THIS ONE.

Dr Osmon is the best instructor I have had in college that wasn't in my direct program of study. She is a great teacher and genuinely cares about her students. Tests are not hard, if you study! Lectures are fun, interactive and she sends the notes if you attend class. She wants to see you succeed. One of the best instructors at DSC.

This was my favorite professor while at DSC. She is helpful, funny, and interesting. The material is intriguing and she makes it easy to understand. The assignments are purposeful and help you retain the information.

This was an online class and I don't particularly care for them. Although it was an easy class and I learned, it probably won't stick with me. Most work was just busy work, but easy. I stopped by her office to introduce myself, and she seemed to be a pleasant, interesting person.

My first college class and Im only in 10th grade and I passed with an A. She is an amazing teacher, has great lectures, funny videos, emails you the notes if you show up and puts reviews and chapter outlines on the website. I am so disappointed I can't take her developmental psychology next semester But she is AMAZING. Best. Teacher. Ever!!

Dr. Osmon give exceptionally good feedback and is extremely responsive to emails. She does have tests but they are a very small part of your grade as she focuses more on the lecture and the assignments that are assigned. Do the work and you will pass! Easy Peasy!

Amy is the best professor that I have ever had. (She wants you to call her Amy)I have taken her for Summer B term and she makes everything interesting, simple, and clear to understand. Honestly the only way you can fail this class if you do not do anything and if you are lazy. She is also SO funny.

Amy is a wonderful professor. She gives amazing, entertaining lectures and shows a ton of videos/clips. She does not use a textbook at all. All lecture notes are posted to the portal. She even provides exam reviews. There is not a lot of homework. There is absolutely no reason not to get an A in this class unless you are just lazy.

Really great class. She has plenty of extra credit opportunities and will do whatever she can to help her students. Fun class and relates everything in a way that you can understand.

Osmon makes the class very enjoyable. You will learn a lot while also having fun. She does not require you to get the textbook for the course, instead she posts all of her lectures online for you to access at home. She also provides outlines to follow along with the lectures and lets you know what you need to study for on the tests.

Professor Osmon's General Psychology class online is an easy A. The only way to not get an A is to do poorly on her quizzes. All of the discussion assignments, chapter summaries, and reaction reports are all easy A's.

Dr. Amy Osmon gives her students great weekly feedback. She grades each assignment quickly. If you have any questions she will respond within 24 hours. I would definitely take her course again if I had to. No textbook needed but make sure you read her extra links and syllabus.

Dr. Osmon is awesome! I took her online Intro to Psych class and loved it! The class was enjoyable and the workload was reasonable. We had 5 units that each included a test, chapter summary, video reaction report, and discussion posts. Nothing too crazy. The textbook is optional; I used mine maybe twice. Trust me, you won't regret taking her!

By far my favorite professor, I have taken two of her classes in psychology and I adored her teaching methods and her personality. By far the nicest professor at DSC in my opinion. Note: The reason I got a B in this class was not because of her class, but because she does a program where it's a cluster of three classes.

Just have to show up the first week for financial aid attendance and that's it. I already took AP Psych in high school but failed the exam so I had a head start on the whole course. She let's you skip one test and make it up at the end of the semester. Has all her powerpoint up and has test review based on each question of test. Extracredit options

Amazing Professor! One of the first classes I took at DSC & had a great experience. She is very passionate and it shows in her teaching. Class layout was simple to understand. Exams were online & correlated with lectures. Interesting lectures & she showed really interesting films. Also took DEP2004, 10/10 recommend (Fall A) (No textbook needed)

Professor Osmon was great to take my online General Psychology course with, her grading was very clear and she always gave fantastic feedback on the papers she assigned. She used OpenStax for the textbook, which made everything easier and of course, cheaper for her students. I'd definitely recommend her to take any psychology classes with!

Dr. Osmon is fantastic. She isn't an ordinary psychology teacher. She is highly passionate about her field and the brain. She researched the brain of hammerhead sharks. She makes the lectures fun, and the videos she has you watch as part of the lesson are interactive and exciting. You won't be disappointed with her class.

AMAZING TEACHER! I was so busy this semester planning a wedding, getting married, school, work, 2 kids, 2 hurricanes, halloween, thanksgiving.. all the above and this class was so easy. The work amount was just enough for me to keep caught up on and not fall behind while having another class. Highly suggest this class and teacher.

Class is straight forward! 4 quiz/4 reflections/4 (2 in one) discussion post. May seem like alot but its not you have plenty of time to do everything. Honestly you do not need the book to do the assignments but it could help. She provides feedback and answers any questions you may have. Overall easy class and nice teacher.

Mrs. Osmon is truly a great professor. Psychology of any form can be hard to learn; there is so much content to cover in one semester. However, study, read her powerpoints and you will do great. She is very accessible outside class, which is so helpful as an online student.

Prof Osmon is great and her class was very managable. I did 8 weeks and each week there were 3-4 DBs, 1 test, and a short paper about what is covered in the unit. The grading criteria are easy to follow and she gives resources for each assignment. I'm planning on taking Prof Osmon again next semester, so I definitely recommend.

Dr. Hall is an extremely solid professor. She gives great lectures, is very fair with grading and actually wants her students to pass in order to enjoy the subject of psychology. I would one hundred percent take any course she teaches again and would especially recommend this class to anyone interested in the subject.

if you take the half semester (a/b term) its literally only 4 quizzes and 4 assignments! detailed, easy to understand lectures with powerpoints and quizzes are not too difficult at all
