Good class, good professor. She is very nice and laid back. Class is sometimes boring, but some info is interesting. She makes the subject more interesting. Does random group exercises to break up the monotony of class, instead of her just lecturing the whole time. Just 2 exams and 2 presentations. Easy B. Class average on pres: 88, exams: 75.

She is genuinely a caring teacher. She is new to SDSU, so still has that strict edge to her. Her exams are tough but M/C. She said she was a "big picture" tester. NOT! Memorize the definitions, theories, and charts, and you'll do fine. Posts PP lecures on BB which is helpful. 1 group project... I would take her again now that I know testing method.

Honestly, I recommend just TALKING to her if you have any problems, she tends to be nice so gives out more info that she probably should. I learned this and, well, abused her good nature :)

big on attendance and participation. the end of lecture, she has a lst of people that go up and show their id for attendance points. every week is about 2-3 chapter readings. occasional quiz. read the chapters along with the study guide she gives, make a quizlet and you're good. she curves 10 points or more, drops lowest exam (not including final)

Professor Randel wants you to succeed. She is such a caring professor and wants to get to know you. She will help you in any way shape or form as long as you show her respect. Few homework assignments and three exams not including the final. Her lectures are interesting and very helpful to succeeding in the class. Would definitely take her again.

Prof. Randel is awesome, what she teaches relates to the real world and is interesting. Attendance is not mandatory but she announces 5-10 names each class. Lowest of 4 exams dropped. One of my favorite professors at SDSU so far. She engages the class even at 8 am and uses helpful examples. It doesn't hurt that there's a BIG curve too.

Easy B. Study a few days in advance for an A, I suggest you audio record lecture since exam questions are specific. Look at your test a week after it's available. Cumulative final. You actually learn and can apply it to your job someday. Attendance is mandatory... Use chat gpt to create examples of the definitions/exam questions --notes. GOOD LUCK

I took this class at 8 am, there is so much information being said, so looking back I would have probably recorded the lectures. When it comes to exams I probably suggest studying 2 weeks in advance if you really want to be sure about topics. Overall this class was nice, but be prepared for a lot of reading, and also take good notes.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER! She is so incredibly personal and is so good at what she does. She gives you everything and more to help you get an A in this class and is very open to feedback. I'm very confused about the negative feedback...her class is AMAZING for being an 8 AM!!

Took this professor because the ratings said she was good and exams were easy. LIARS. Exams are not easy and even if you take notes, you need to understand so much more to do well on exams. I spent hours studying and tried every method known to man. The study guide she gives is a fraction of whats on the exam. Save your time and don't take her.

She's really engaging and the class content feels easy, so you'd expect the tests to be the same… but no. You have to study at least a week ahead and actually understand the material because her questions can be tricky. I swear some of them feel like they have two correct answers. She's a caring professor overall, but her exams are extremely hard.

Honestly when I first started the semester I thought this class would be easier/common sense, I failed the first two exams, I was at D but I decided to study and I even asked her to review my study guides which she happily did. I got an almost perfect score and I was able to pass the final as well. Difficult but 100% passable.

I've never touched the textbook for this course, but I still passed by listening to lectures only. Tips for notes & exam, pay attention to her examples & her own definitions during lectures. I download the slides & take notes on them. As long as you pay attention, you'll pass. 3 reg exams (drop lowest) & cumulative final.
