This was an extemely easy class. I attended all the lectures but the material was reviewed numerous times. Dr. Ross makes the subject very appealing. There were two tests, a midterm and final, and the majority of the class got A's on both.

Dr. Ross will tell you herself that her intro to Geography class isn't very difficult and some students may only want to take this class for that reason. However, I learned more from that class than most of my others last semester. I thoroughly enjoyed it and hightly recommend it. She is a good professor.

Very interesting approach to an intro class. I learned a lot and even decided to take her human rights class. She is very liberal and opinionated, which may alienate some people, but she forces you to use your head and think critically.

Fascinating class. One of my favorites in college. Highly recommended, though Bush-voters should come prepared to debate.

People, Places, and Cultures, is an intentionally easy intro class. Jokes are cracked constantly and we occasionally broke into smaller groups. Bonus points were thrown around like nobody's business. This class actually stimulated my interest towards sociology. Dr. Ross loves to talk about genocide. Seriously.

Hilarious. Prepare to be entertained daily by her comments and wardrobe. It definitely pays to participate I raised my hand quite a few times and she took down my name to make sure I got an A. Do not read the book, unless you want to waste your time. Just memorize the key terms she gives you and pay attention to the main ideas! TAKE THIS CLASS

Was a great class. She is an excellent teacher who really cares and knows about her subject. Midterm and final were not hard at all if you went to class. Would definitely take another class with her in the future.

Dr. Ross is great. She tells you exactly what's on the tests for the most part. The difference is attendance. Being there for the videos and stuff is the difference in an A & A- but either way its easy. I didnt like just having a mid term and final but she might have changed that. Class was interesting though and she practices what she preaches

The class is easy but it was difficult to listen for 1 hour and 15 minutes. The material is interesting but Dr. Ross likes to talk alot and repeat material. You need patience to get through it but the A is worth it.

Very easy human geography class! most test questions come from vocabulary words and flashcards helped to study those. 4 in class assignments total to %20 of the grade. Attendance isn't mandatory but you dont want to miss those assignments. I loved having this class although it was a bit boring, but an easy A!

Dr. Ross is a crazy hippy liberal who wants to save the world, and she is hilarious. She is really...weird but in a funny way. Some people think she's annoying, but she really does have a good heart and she is entertaining! The class was also INCREDIBLY EASY. Just memorize your vocab cards and go to class and you will do well.

This class is easy and enjoyable. She teaches it easy. A majority of the tests are key words. She even gives you some answers to tests. I stopped taking notes after the first test because they were pointless. It was hard to listen to her talk and ramble on for 1 hour and 15 min every TR but being there for movies and other stuff were worth it.

This class was incredibly easy and enjoyable. Amy Ross is funny and likes to keep the class involved during lecture. I got A's on all of my tests and the final and only studied the night before for each. If you want an easy A, definitely take this class with Ross.

Amazing Teacher!!! Dr. Ross loves her job and it shows everyday in class. I believe this was my favorite class so far. I might also add that the class was easy but I learn a great deal. This is a must take class! Oh and I got an "A"

I took her and I really enjoyed her class. She's quite funny and loves to get students involved in discussion rather than just talking at us for an entire lecture. She doesn't mind students sleeping. I received an "A" on all assignments and I only skimmed my notes. The main thing you should study are the key words that she gives us. So Easy. <3 her

Great professor. It took me a little while to get used to her personality. Most professors who teach large lectures are very impersonal, but she is far from it. Very nice, you can she is passionate about her job. Definitely would recommend her.

Never met a professor more passionate about her job. She engages and encourages her students and provides a lot of thought provoking information. The class itself is pretty standard difficulty, not too easy but not too hard. Very interesting to listen to and loved going to class.

Dr Ross was an AWESOME teacher! Attendance wasn't mandatory, but I wanted to go to class every day because she made the lectures so interestingentertaining. This wasn't a class I was necessarily interested in as a business major, but by the end of the semester it was possibly my favorite class so far in college. I hope this class sticks around!

This was the best/easiest class ever. If you are looking for an easy A, take this class. All you have to do is come to class. She tells you exactly what will be on the tests and the tests are really easy. Taking this class was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I also LOVE Amy. She is the best!!

She wants everyone to pass her class, so this makes it a lot easier. I recommend going to class, but if you don't, just wait for the google doc to be made for the test and you are pretty much good to go. Don't waste your time reading the book, because nearly every question comes from the lectures. She is a great speaker and knows the material.

I took her for both 3640 and 4710 and loved both classes. There's a decent amount of reading but you only have to do enough of the readings to include in the couple of papers you may write, there aren't any tests or anything. She's a bit of a nut, but she's crazy smart and her discussions are really engaging.

In the weeks that I had Dr. Ross (she was out on medical leave the first eight weeks) she made the class simple: come to class, and she would give all the answers to the exam day by day. I made a 100 on that test. She can get off on tangents and is very passionate about topics, but I would definitely recommend for a needed World Culture credit.

She is amazing!! The only grades in her class are 3 tests, and she prepares you for these tests SO well. By far the easiest college class I have taken. I actually look forward to, and enjoy going to class! But if you miss class, it most likely will not affect your grade. Definitely recommend taking her!!!

Dr. Ross is incredible! She made it clear that she respected us as learners and wanted us to come away from the class having learned something! Assignments were kind of random short papers in response to readings, and even if you get behind you should do all of them because the readings and movies we watched all contributed a lot to what I learned!

All I have to say is TAKE THE CLASS. You cannot go wrong with this class. This is the easiest class you will ever take in college, and also the most enjoyable. She is literally the funniest professor ever and only cares that you learn the material. She knows it is easy, but makes class fun and engages everyone. FRESHMEN: TAKE AMY! One of a kind!!

The only grades in this class are three tests; they will be the easiest tests you every take if you just go to class. I bought the textbook for $8 but only read it for confidence; she teaches you all you need to know. She is a genuinely caring and thoughtful professor (not to mention funny and entertaining). She was a wonderful professor; take her!

You will genuinely want to attend this class if you sign up for it. She makes very interesting points and is an amazing teacher. Her tests are not difficult at all, and you still learn so much. She gives all the answers/questions in class so you should attend the lectures, but regardless, this class is great, and I highly recommend it.

The first day of class I knew I would love her because of her spirit. She is passionate but realizes people are here for an easy A so she helps with that. She gives away test questions each lecture so by test day you basically only have to answer 1-3 questions. Attendance is NOT mandatory, but she doesn't like people missing. No phones.

Lectures can be long and venture off-topic, but it is very evident that she cares a lot about the material. Attendence is not mandatory, but she bribes students to come to class but putting the actual test (with answers!) on the projector. Take her class & actually go if you want an easy A!!!

One of the best professors I've ever had. Is extremely passionate about the subject. Easiest class in the world- she literally gave out 97% of the answers. However, don't let that make you not show up. She does that so she can spend the hour discussing things that actually matters in life & the world- not wasting it defining terms. Amazing woman.

Dr. Ross is very passionate about this class and as a result, her lectures are full of personal stories. There is a lot of reading in this class, but not all of it is necessary to understanding the content or getting a good grade. She is a little bit unorganized, but it never impeded our learning. Take her! She is very invested in her students!

TAKE HER! She literally gives you test questions for the test because she wants you to focus on actually learning and enjoying the class instead of focusing on trying to pass. Even though I could've skipped class and still gotten an A, I still went to class because her lectures were very interesting and thought provoking. Seriously, take her.

Hands down the easiest class Ive ever taken. She gives about 90% of the test answers before each exam, and on top of that, exams are ridiculously easy. Shes hilarious and so sweet. TAKE HER CLASSES!!!

TAKE THIS CLASS. Dr. Ross makes sure you know exactly what to expect from her tests . Attendance is not mandatory, but you do have to be in class to know what to study and what will be on the test. There are only four grades in this class 3 tests and a cumulative final exam but they are not difficult at all if you study what she tells you to.

This class is crazy easy and it's done purposefully. You never need to come to class except for test day. Just be sure to study a couple hours before the test (there's only 2 and a final) and you're golden

She's a great professor! She is completely understanding and open minded to what you have to say! But be ready to read a lot, articles and books alike. There is a lot of outside work to do. We had about 5 papers due and that was our grade. I would definitely take again.

This was the easiest class I've ever taken, seriously. She gives you majority of the test questions and answers (like 35/40 of them), so you just need to memorize them to get an A. Amy is a really nice lady but if you're more of a conservative you might go nuts because of the topics she talks about. Other than that it's a great class to take.

Easiest class I have ever taken, the only days I actually went to it were the very first day and showing up to the 4 exams. Dr. Ross is great and knows people are just filling a core credit so she gives you every single test question and answer prior to the exam. Take her!!!

Dr. Ross is the most caring professor at UGA. She cares about every student and wants everyone to have an A+ while not dedicating too much time to this class. Her lectures are very interesting and she gives every test question and answer during lecture. Gives easy extra credit assignments for showing up.

Took this class bc i needed an upper elective. She's really funny and lectures are always interesting. Grading criteria is a bit weird. There weren't any tests, just a midterm and final paper over applying lecture knowledge to books. Lectures are mostly based on her experiences and arent note based. Really interesting class

This class was really easy. I took it because it hit two requirements, and it was a lot easier than my other class that only hit one. We never had homework, the only assignments we had all term were a midterm paper and an end-of-year paper.

I cannot express how much I love Dr. Ross, she's the best professor I've ever had. WE LITERALLY WENT ON FIELD TRIPS TO SAVANNAH & MONTGOMERY! She's super cool and shares lots of stories. I actually learned so much, because she focuses more on your learning than stressing about grades. She is caring/ so funny/ and accommodating if need be.

Dr. Ross is great! She cares so much about the well-being of her students. The class is super easy. The only assignments are two papers which she grades very leniently. There are no tests or homework assignments, but she does expect you to go to lecture. Take this class if you need an easy A.

Exciting class. Try to participate in class as she is very nice and participation is practically your entire grade. There is one paper and class participation, but she is very understanding if you have other commitments.

I cannot emphasize how incredible this professor is. She goes above and beyond to care for not just her students, but all members of our community. Amazing professor and really easy class. You have to try to fail bc she gives out all the test questions in class. Attendance not required, but she has in class assignments for participation (10% of grade) so come anyway. I never bought the textbook and never had to use it. I downloaded it online, but still never used.

All of the test answers are given during the test review. I never go to class expect review day. 10% of your grade is attendance and she does random participation assignments in class. She goes on tangents and doesnt use ELC. Find a couple friends the first week of class and you will be okay.

Super easy class. She's def aware that most students are taking the class to fill credits. Don't buy the textbook, you don't need it. Exam questions are given during semester and before exams. Good break from hard classes.

Very easy class. Lectures the whole class but is very nice and witty. Exams are extremely easy, only 2 plus the final. There is no homework, just listen to the lectures. Take this class if you want a really easy class with a really nice professor.

Dr. Ross was an amazing Professor. Class time was almost always less than the full 50 minutes. Tests are the bulk of your grade but she provides all test questions and ANSWERS on the review day during the class before the test day.

Most people only show up to class during review day since exam answers are given out in class. Perfect for if you just need to satisfy Area IV without taking a language since this class literally requires no work at all.

Dr Ross is very experienced so offers lots of anecdotes to support lectures. She loves student participation. Class grade consists of only 3 exams, but the questions are reviewed in the 1-2 classes before test day. This is one of the easiest classes I have taken. Her lectures are completely optional, and you can receive a 100% and not attend one class. Your grade is derived from the exams and a participation grade. However, she claims mostly everyone will receive the participation credit as she "wants everyone to get an A in this class". Take this class.

Amazing FYOS she really cares about the topic at hand which was human rights. She doesn't put unnecessary work on the students and is great in engaging in the lectures.

Amy Ross is a kind and passionate teacher that wants all of her students to do to end with an 100. A textbook is not needed. Prof Amy makes exams very easy by giving students answers to exam questions during class. Loved this teacher and class, and although participation isnt mandatory, she loves when students show up.

I really enjoyed this class and learning more about what Professor Ross knows. I would say at times it becomes a place for her to share her personal political opinions but as someone who thinks differently politically from what she believes, she was very respectful. Easy A and go to her review classes where she gives you the answers to tests.
