Great prof. Wish I had taken in class as opposed to telecourse. Subject itself is very boring for me. No interest in arts. She is very enthusiastic and passionate about the topic. For the optional class meetings she was great at clearing things up for me. Essays sucked and truly took a lot of thought process (probably bcuse I dont like subj.

Very understanding professor who wants to see you succeed in class. She was flexiable with due dates and deeply concerned about her students lives and overall well being and health. Gave an excellent fair-well speech that made us all feel appreciated. She doesn't get enough respect as she is owed. OPEN BOOK TESTS :o)

Professor Trogan was an Awesome professor, 3000 word paper she used 1 1500 word paper for twice..freaking awesome, easy mid-term doesn't affect your grade. Over-all she was an Awesome English Professor!! P.S. classes are kinda boring..

The best English professor I've had for a long time. She has high expectations, but that's because she genuinely cares about her students academic success. Her quizes, midterm exam, group presentation and final exam are very easy. Open book and notes on ALL examinations including the final.

Prof. Trogan(Sprout) is great! She is fun and super easy to get along with. She does care about her students and wants everybody to do well. She doesnt pick apart your essays..but you do have to write decent papers you cant just write and get away with anything. You do most of the class online w/ ce6, then about 6 papers to write. Take her!

Dr. Trogan is a wonderful and helpful teacher. She let's you use your notes for quizzes and exams. She is fair and cares about her students. I am definitely taking her for comp 2

Dr. Trogan is the best teacher. Everything for the class was pretty much online and it was simple to complete it. Its mostly just do it, and you get an A. there are a few papers, but she lets you revise them to improve your grade! Very nice lady, i'm taking her for comp 2 next semester! HIGHLYY RECOMMENDD!

Dr. Trogan was by far my favorite teacher! all you have to do is actually do your work, which is so simple, and you will do just fine. This comp 2 class was SO easy. If you took her for comp 1, you basically did the same essays. I was in the half lab half classroom class and it was the same exact thing as comp 1. So if you have taken her before, take it again if you were comfortable.

She is so sweet.Class is very easy,as long as you do the work.Essays can be hard,but she gives you enough time to do them and is always there to help.Everyone should take her!

Easy A. Show up, do whatever in class assignment and leave when your done. My classes were 50 minutes long and I got to leave early 75% of the time. Finished the Final Exam in literally 20 minutes. You have to write 2 essays and 2 research papers but I always did mine the night before and got a 90%.

She is a super teacher and is one the most helpful. If you put the time and effert into it it is an easy A. I'm not English major but the class was easy if you do the work. If you work hard earlier te final is that much easiler because you don't have to score high on it to maintain the A that you should have.

Ms. Trogan is the best teacher ever! I would highly recommend her! I got 96% and 97% on two of the four papers, so far. She every helpful if you go to her office hours. She's very willing to help and she knows what she's talking about. There is two at home quizzes, a midterm, four papers, MHConnect, and a final. Very easy fun class!

A good teacher, sometimes she can be vague but she tries and she has office hours where you can get help. Classes are pretty easy and she gives you a good amount of time to complete essays. Watch your grammar and punctuation though.

Dr. Trogan was awesome and extremely attentive to me during a difficult time. Keep up with your work, you will do great with her.

English is a hard subject for me. One of the better Professors I have had. Plenty of time to work on your papers if you have a full schedule. Four Essay papers for the semester.

Amy is very helpful in all aspects of the class, had 5 major papers that were 100 points or more. Quite a bit of reading, 5 quizzes on the reading, lowest dropped. Shes a great teacher and very helpful and understanding. Take her!

She is a very nice, and funny professor. But she's tough, gives a lot of essays but they aren't long. And she gives pop quizzes every other week so make sure you read her assignments.

Best English Comp. Professor ever. My second time having her and ended with A's both time. Do as she says and you will pass. 5 essay assignments. Pretty easy! 5 quizzes and drops lowest one. I would definitely take her again. Get to her class on time!!!

It is Literature so be prepared to read amazing work of arts. A lot go writing but easy Helps you study for midterm and final which are easy A's. Discusses the reading in details so you have a better understanding of it

For being a writing intensive class, the essays weren't too bad. Four critical essays, and one analysis essay throughout the semester. There are six pop quizzes, and she drops your lowest. Make sure to read all of the assigned stories before class. Her grading was fairly good, sometimes she wouldn't put why she took off points. Would take again.

As someone who is NOT excited about English or writing, I received much better grades than I was expecting. You have access to the grading rubrics before tuning in papers so you know exactly whats being graded and how. I emailed her many times and got quick and sufficient responses, even on the weekend once! Very good choice for an English Prof,

She's a really nice and caring professor. She does make you read outside of class, but actual homework wise, almost nothing. There are a few essays to write, but it is simple to get an "A." Her lectures are engaging, and she REQUIRES class participation. All around great professor, though.

Fantastic Professor. Wants students to truly know how to write and do citations.

Doctor Trogan is solid. She gives you overly clear expectations on what she wants for the assignments. She breaks them up into smaller parts so you are not overwhelmed. Do not wait until the last minute to do the final project it takes hours!

She is a tough grader, not the worst professor but definitely doesn't let anything slide. Make sure you double check the rubric and make sure you assignments are top notch or she WILL give you a zero, I got lucky and she let me resubmit a few assignments, but she usually will not.

Awesome professor with constructive feedback. Won't be an easy class if you don't do your work, but it's a good one. I feel prepared for university because of her.

Very good teacher. Very clear on assignment guidelines. Not too much homework or essays. You are given plenty of time to do them and ask for feedback or help. 100% recommend.

She is a tough grader, and the feedback on papers was not specific at times. However, the class is fairly easy, as long as you do your work and follow the rubric, READ THE RUBRIC, you should be fine. If you need help from her, be sure to email at least 2-3 days before the deadline date.

I found this class very boring but that might just be because it was online. It definitely is writing intensive though. You have a small paper basically every week. She is a quick grader. Her feedback is not always that clear but she does give you an opportunity to fix one of your writing assignments by the end of the semester for a better grade.

I took Dr. Trogan online because of Corona. She was very helpful and always kept her students up to date with announcements that were actually relevant and helpful. She seemed to be a very fair grader as well.

I took her for both ENC1130 and ENC1101. She is overall is very kind and sweet, and very helpful. She gives out weekly announcements reminding us about upcoming work due, and the class has lots of resources for writing. You will be writing a lot, at least one essay per week, shes a tough grader but gives back lots of feedback. Easy A in both class.

Professor Trogan is kind, sweet, and cares about students really learn! I took two courses with her ENC1101 and ENC1130. I loved her class, so next semester I will take another class with her. The only thing is that you have to do a lot of essays.

One of my favorite experiences in an online class. Layout for the course is comprehensive and easy to navigate. Writing assignments are 70% of your grade (20% Minor, 50% Major) since it is a writing-intensive course. The rubric was easy to understand and Prof. Trogan left very helpful feedback on all my papers. Highly recommend this course.

This professor is kind and understanding. She gives constructive feedback and helps in anyway she can. There are a lot of essays but they are spaced out and overall, I enjoyed taking this class.

Professor Trogan has been my most favorite professor at FSW this far. No one likes to take core classes. She made it fun and informative. She was very understanding as a result of Hurricane Ian. I would love to have her in the future for comp or something like that. I highly recommend her, you will enjoy her course!

Chapter lessons were easy to follow. Papers were well explained and you know just what to expect. Professor Trogan was understanding during and after Hurricane Ian, reached out several times to check on class. She gave great information on recovery.

Professor Trogan is a very patient professor. She gives students extra time to make up assignments as well as allowing a student to fix any errors in their essays. She is very caring and understanding as long as you are able to communicate with her. Readily available to help students. She also gives great feedback on assignments

Prof. Trogan was an amazing professor! I took her for Comp 1 and 2. Weekly writing assignments and a few main essays. Was a fairly easy class. She handled Hurrican Ian very well and checked in with students to make sure we understood the modules. When I would email her, she would answer in less than 48 hours. I highly recommend taking her class!

Professor Trogan was an excellent professor. She demonstrated genuine concern for her students, reaching out if your grade is low. The course involves a few essays and discussions that are both clear and manageable. Additionally, she provides feedback when grading.

I got Professor Trogan halfway through the semester due to my original Professor leaving and she was caring, understanding, and easy, and would always reply to emails or comments with good feedback. Her work was the usual Comp work but as long as you follow the rubric you will pass. I would love to have her again as my Professor.

I LOVED this teacher! My favourite teacher in my two yrs of college experience. She makes the class so easy that you could do it in your sleep, and you actually learn from it. Lastly, she actually cares about her students. 10/10 would take again.

Professor Trogan was very sweet and cares about you succeeding.Always gave feedback on my assignments and let me re-submit many times.Allot of discussion post but they are pretty simple.Not to many essays.If you have difficulty on finding the answers to assignments she will direct you to the right module. Overall a great teacher, very grammar savvy and will correct mikstakes in papers. Gives great feetback and such an easy grader. Explains assignments perfectly and has fun assignments that make the class enjoyable. Loved taking this class and would take again if I could. Does talk a lot and really slow talker but overall great techer.

Prof Trogan is great! The Class is fairly easy but there are a couple of papers throughout the course. She does give you feedback throughout the couple of weeks that you have to write the essays. The quizzes are mostly open-response questions and the "final" is a paper If you follow instructions and ask for help when needed you will have no trouble

Professor Trogan is one of the BEST professors I have had. She was always available and willing to help when needed. She was beyond accommodating and wants you to succeed in her class. I would 100% recommend her to anyone! I want to add that she is one of the most caring professors I have had the pleasure of taking their course!

If you're a Spanish speaker, I recommend seeking help to understand the assignments. If you use AI, it will be known, but it encourages you to do better every day, as this will help you improve. There are plenty of assignments and tests during class, but nothing that can't be done.

Professor Trogan clearly cares about her students and is dedicated to making her students successful. She's a great teacher but you have to put the work in for a good grade. If you work hard, you'll do well and learn a lot.

Professor Trogan is a breath of fresh air. She's super sweet, very attentive, and reassuring. I took her for Comp and I loved all the assignments. She provides ALOT of resources for you to understand the assignments so you'll be good. There is a lot of reading but the lectures help summarize everything. You'll do great with this professor.
